This is our favorite pizzeria!!! We're very picky about pizza and hadn't found a pizza that we liked! We found Tuffino by chance and ordered the Robiola pizza, omg delicious with a unique flavor! Since then, we've always come here and order this pizza, and to top it all off, they have the sweet Nutella pizza, the perfect combo!!! We then decided to try the Alfredo pasta and, to our surprise, it was WONDERFUL!!! I think it was the best, or one of the best, I've ever had! Anyway, now we've added the pasta to our favorites list too!!! If you come to the restaurant, order these three items and you won't regret it! I highly recommend it! The service is also always very good!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

9/5/25 Had dinner here last night and as usual it was great. This is a family owned restaurant and the owner Steve is a very caring and professional person. He makes sure that everyone is happy with what they’re eating and if they’re not, he’ll do something about it I love the vibe, the decor, the music, the service, the food, the attention to their customers . Mauricio our waiter is very attentive and gives customers excellent service. Steve we had a terrific time. It was a pleasure seeing Mom and meeting the rest of the family. Have been to this restaurant several times with my family and friends. Each time the food has come out amazing, service has been great, ambience has been wonderful, and the overall experience has been fantastic. I love coming here. I came last night and once again had another awesome experience. This is definitely a staple in my house. This is why I love Astoria!!

Wow. Such a gem. The polenta fries with truffle oil is exquisite. The flavor is delicate and beautifully prepared. The Bufala and Prociutto with Sourdough is a must have. It is surprisingly delicate and light while still filling. The thin slice of the Prociutto is just the right complement to the Bufala Mozarella. Nonna's meatballs. They smelled like my childhood. A very distinct & authentic Nonna from Italy aroma that is perfectly prepared. They are delicious without being heavy or over relying on breading. Again their cheeses are such a delicate compliment. And finally the fried Bufala. My husband enjoyed every bite. A treat after a long day ! Also the Moscow Mule is crisp and flavorful and the service was attentive and quick! It's Snoop on a Stoops favorite restaurant now. Im so glad we stopped in and were so beautifully surprised by the food choices! I'm sure their pizza is wonderful but treat yourself and order multiple items off the antipasto and share and enjoy! Oh fun fact.....they have vegan mozzarella sticks. We didn't have them but what a fantastic provision for dietary inclusiveness!

A must to dine in! Broccoli Rabe with sausage was not in Tufino’s menu. Chef Rob came out to ascertain what I wanted. He cooked it with garlic and olive oil. It was healthy, tasty 😋 and perfectly prepared🤗! I am so impressed that he obliged. Our distinguished guest and my hubby were satisfied with their Chicken Parmesan with a side of broccoli rabe and pizza lunch special with salad. On top of that when I rang Tufino a day after, Mr. Laz was so patient, pleasant and helpful. He searched for our receipt, answered my questions and offered to text it to me🥰. Tufino has fresh, delicious food with excellent staff. Nice ambience too.

Great Italian place in Astoria. Clams and calamari were excellent starters and the arrabiata pizza was so good. Perfect amount of spice, olives, honey and oil. I also enjoyed the craft beer basei. Service was quick and our waiter was quite friendly. Table settings were changed between courses and I really liked the cutlery. The interior is very cozy and Italianesk. Will be returning.

Been here three times and the food is excellent and consistent. Pizza is made to order and I recommend all of the them. The eggplant parm appetizer and wood fired octopus is a must try as well! Service is wonderful and it is a great place to meet with friends or go with family!

First time in NY, visit from Tampa FL. The pizza was great, the taste amazing. The sauce is not chunk, sour was in the perfect spot. The mozzarella A+ very good. I always thinking to put a business like your business in Tampa FL. I love the wood fire pizza. I need to learn how to make a good pizza.

Pizza doesn’t taste bad, but the filling to dough ratio is completely off. The edges are way too big and a slice is half filled.

Very disappointed in the service. I was excited to come here with my friend who raves about the gnocchi maccellaio. It took us almost 2 hours to get our entrees. We ordered 2 apps + 2 entrees altogether, after waiting 10 minutes before anyone came to check on our table for drinks or get our food order. The food was good… but we had to remind the waitress we ordered a second appetizer. And when that was brought to the table, we reminded her that we had already put in the order for our entrees. We then had to ask again about the status of our entrees, only to find out that they were never put in to begin with. They did not offer us anything to offset the amount of time we had to wait, just kept thanking us for our patience. Other tables had gotten served and left prior to us even though they arrived later, and it wasn’t even that busy to justify the delay.

If you’re looking for the worst Italian food in town, congratulations — you’ve found it. My pizza was disgustingly cooked in the middle and swimming in oil. The ingredients flow into my plate. Whoever called himself as manager looked more annoyed than the customers. They clearly don’t care about quality or service. I left hungry and frustrated. Even a star is too much. Definitely NOT recommended.

This isn’t our first time ordering from this place, but we’re very disappointed. We ordered a vegan pizza and fried calamari. The calamari portion was tiny, and they gave us mostly just tentacles — the worst part. The tomato sauce spilled all over the bag, and there was no dipping sauce in the end. The pizza was burnt and had barely any vegan meat — I had to add my own from the fridge. Honestly, we won’t be ordering from here again. Really disappointing.
