As a regular at this Nepali gem, I can confidently say the food never disappoints. The goat curry is always rich, tender, and full of deep, traditional flavor. The mattar paneer has that perfect creamy texture with just the right amount of spice, and both come with generous portions of rice truly comforting and satisfying. Their cheese naan is consistently soft and perfectly cheesy great for scooping up every last bit of curry. I also never skip the pork sekuwa: which comes with chutney is very flavorful and tasty. One of my favorites here is the khattu drink tangy, and uniquely delicious. It’s the perfect finishing touch to a hearty meal. Nice little surprise. I like a good Nepali thali and had to try it. Decent fare and very efficient staff. Food actually tasted like home cooked food and that’s a + for me. Nice decor and glad I stopped by.

Amazing naan and roti with delicious curries, both vegetarian and non, to enjoy. Highly recommend if you want a meal that isn’t too heavy and is very flavorful.

Our Second time ordering from Hamro Aangan, the food is delicious and full of flavor, the chef tonight did a really good job with our food, both time the food was good . Thank you! our favorite's are the Shrimp or Chicken Biryani, Chicken Curry, Chicken chow mein, chicken breast tandoori all (medium spicy) and off course don’t forget the Garlic naan’s. they have more items on the menu that we want to try and we will. We were very happy with everything including the packaging of the food and the hospitality, the host is welcoming and she was very nice. We will definitely be coming back here:)

The waitress was super attentive and kind. The food was very delicious as well. The tandoori was oddly sweet, not bad, just a bit out of balance with normal tandoori recipe. Seems like a new spot as the inside was pretty empty for dine in. Only suggestion would be to have them decrease the music volume.

Winner for my favorite almost late night Indian spot in Albany Berkeley area, this restaurant makes some of the best non-around light, crispy, delicious flavoring, and just to test things out I always like to see where they will go with a chicken tikka masala, and a samosa. All three felt and tasted homemade, and this place is going to be a go-to destination for me, especially because of the fact that they stay open late I think till 11:00 p.m. while everything else in the area closes at 9:00. This is your later in the night Indian spot for the East Bay. Super friendly staff too.

We recently had a fantastic experience at Hamro Aagan Restaurants in San Pablo. We ordered the Nepali Thali, and it was absolutely delicious! dont know where should i start with.The food met my expectation but the server was superior than what i thought.I was served with beautiful smile and politeness till my last goodbye. The food reminds me of home. what can be more exciting than your expectations meet reality!! Well done to the lady who listen to me every time when i need her. I took takeout so it might’ve been a little bit better fresh but I don’t think this is a great spot although it is acceptable. I got the fish pakora and the tandoori chicken breast. Usually I get Koliwada fish from Vik’s but for some reason, they didn’t have it even though it was Sunday and so I thought I would try this. I guess it’s a different dish and that’s probably my fault. It was fine, but it was sort of as much carb as there was fish and it wasn’t a particularly nice texture or flavor. But it could be that that’s just what this dish is. However, the tandoori chicken I can more properly evaluate, and it was high-quality chicken, but it was pretty chewy and not particularly tasty. I don’t think I would get food from here again.

Used uber eats to get food. Paneer tikka masala was utter garbage. Too sweet - almost like they add tomato ketchup to their curry. Would not recommend for the prices they charge.

Unfortunately, I can’t relate with all these god reviews. I went there with my friends we were 6 of us there, one main reason I am writing this review would be we were charged $27 and it was named under large party. Honestly speaking we were unknown about that charge I think they should’ve just let us know thoroughly about that so that was a bit unexpected. Also the food was also not that good for us. I hope I am motivating you to improve all of these so that we won’t get a chance to write a review like this going against will.

I had heard few good things about this Restaurant by my acquaintances but I didn’t get to experience the same. We didn’t get any follow-ups nor they accepted our request as we had requested them quite few time to play music for the better enjoyment with my friends. Food was also okayish. Writing this review with no hard feelings but with the exception to get better services for our next visit. Thank you:)
