Had an opportunity to drop by bowled near Albany Med for lunch and was very happy I did. Great staff, awesome food, and an easy walk over from work. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. Will definitely visit more often.

Even if you order early online (20 minutes early), it still might not be ready when you get there. The food is good though.

Food is good. I ordered a “protein toast” which the website/online menu that i scanned in store says comes with steak. They made it without steak and when I asked about the steak they said that the website should’ve had the steak in parenthesis as an optional add on. Although the toast was good, this mistake was pretty annoying bc I ordered the toast with the expectation that I’d get steak on it. A bit disappointed since this is my first time trying this place and the workers made no effort to rectify my disappointment besides a “sorry ma’am”. I will probably not be coming back.

At first glance you can see browning broccoli some even had mold , the bottom of bowl romaine lettuce was brown, and drowned in the liquid they use for the pickled onions. Very annoyed with the fact that they thought sending this out was ok. I took a video put it doesn't let me upload.

It tastes... healthy, but not necessarily in a good way. Definitely do not get the quinoa, unless you are looking for a bowl that is 75% squishy mush. Chicken was dry. They forgot to give the salad dressing I had requested on the side so everything was flavorless. If you don't have any groceries at home and just want some plain fresh ingredients thrown together for you, potentially worth a shot, but I wouldn't try it again.

It tastes... healthy, but not necessarily in a good way. Definitely do not get the quinoa, unless you are looking for a bowl that is 75% squishy mush. Chicken was dry. They forgot to give the salad dressing I had requested on the side so everything was flavorless. This was my third visit to Bowled, and it was the worst. I was hoping to make this my go-to spot, replacing my regular Chipotle runs for your quinoa bowls, but that won't be happening. I paid for extra protein, but the entire portion was smaller than a standard-sized bowl. The inconsistency is unacceptable and has gotten worse each visit. While I won't comment on the overall service, the young blonde girl who served me had a clear attitude. Establishments like this don’t last in the area. This one is no different.

Came to this location today for the first time, I was a frequent customer at the Delmar location and also visit the Schenectady location from time to time, my first experience at the Albany location was not what I hoped it would be. My protein recovery smoothie was ordered with vanilla whey protein, NO peanut butter, add Nutella and in fact had no protein powder, and included peanut butter. This was not a deal breaker as I’m not allergic to peanut butter, but would have been a huge mistake had I been. I also ordered 2 build your own bananza bowls, after being told there were no waffles after a certain time, which is not the case at the Schenectady location if I remember correctly. We were then told when ordering our bowls, “we don’t have that base right now” and we had to ASK them to blend them to order. When we received our bowls the pineapple topping was sour, granola was scarce, and the base was lacking monk fruit. The store itself looked very clean and had a nice atmosphere, but because of this experience I’ll be traveling to the Schenectady location and grieving the Delmar location.

I did a pickup order for BYO Bowl. I didn't initially look inside the bag , being on a time constraint. As soon as i got back to work…i could say my first experience was upsetting. If customers have to pay 15 dollars for a bowl it should be filled to the top with a good amount of toppings . My bowl was not worth the money i spent, it barely had anything in it and did not look appetizing.

Consistently inconsistent. Called about my order and asked to place my missing items with my new order because they KEEP FORGETTING MY ITEMS THAT I PAY FOR. She said she would put it with my new order Didn’t happen at all !and I was extremely polite. gave me a dry salad no avocado or dressing that I paid for. Now I’m running late for work out of 50$ and highly annoyed. Won’t waste my money or time here again. And my chicken is dry as hell. Don’t order from here unless u go in person to ensure your food is correct.

Found the LONGEST STRAIN OF DARK BROWN HAIR IN MY SALAD! I am starving usually order from this place with no issues. The only thing they were willing to do was give me a refund. LIKE NO I WANT MY FOOD I ORDERED WITHOUT HAIR AND FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED. Guess it was not an option because the store closes in 30 minutes.

NEW OWNERSHIP ALERT!!!!! The same ppl who own the rat infested location at crossgates mall bought this 1. DO NOT EAT HERE! There is no quality control. It’s contaminated. Bad service. Overpriced and under portioned. Sick to my stomach!
