We went for buy one get one free coffees and pastries. The nutella iced coffee was AMAZING (just the right amount of sweetness and flavor), as was the chocolate chip scone. Fun environment - I'll need to try a bagel next time!
Oh Bagel Pub, thank you for coming into my life with your super cheesy breakfast sandwiches and overall delicious bagels. I may not enjoy your limited and slightly awkwardly positioned seating, but when it comes to my regular fix of bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, you come second to none. PS. your coffee ain't bad either and while you provide some lunch related options as well, you'll never see me stray from that godly BEC.
You cannot go wrong with anything here. Bagels are some of the best in the city (#2 according to TimeOut). Coffee is tremendous. Pastries and muffins are always fresh. Burgers and salads are also great but the real prize are the bagels!
Quick service and always friendly. Bagels are delicious and they have a billion sandwich options to choose from should you be unsure of your desire. Also have salads, chips, desserts etc. Small place is good for take out but not so much for dine in.
Delicious bagels with a huge selection of cream cheeses and freshly brewed coffee. We will definitely be back.
Awesome little gem, absolutely the best bagels in the area, if not Brooklyn. And everything else in between. And for a bagel place, they even offer outdoor and backyard seating. Only place I the area I know that offers this. Just that, 4 stars.
Awesome. The Lox Special and the ABC (Avocado Bacon Cheddar, with an egg) are phenomenal sandwiches. They have a good drink selection, fast and happy service, low prices, and this gorgeous little backyard that my sweetheart and I once got to have all to ourselves, this little green space with birds and wrought iron cafe tables.
Incredible bagels and bagel sandwiches!! They’re huge! Fresh strawberries in the cream cheese. Had them delivered twice while we were visiting… Maybe the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Great fresh bagels and wide cream cheese selection. The apple cider cream cheese is just as good as it sounds! It can get quite busy in the morning on weekends so go early. There are a few tables in the front to sit down and enjoy your bagel. If you walk through to the back there is an outdoor patio with way more space than you can find inside.
Ugh so good. Scallion lox creamcheese is to die for. Gratuitous amount of creamcheese, you’ll end up scraping a little off the bagel but I’d definitely have more than less. Everything bagels are perfectly seasoned, perfectly toasted. This is THEE go-to stop when we’re in NYC.
One of the best bagel places I've been to, we loved it so much,we went back several times during our visit home. The pumpernickel everything bagel is FABULOUS! Great menu choices, including vegan options. Excellent coffee, tea, and smoothie options. Cute little shop with character. I love it!
I love this place. Came here every day i was in NYC for breakfast. Every possible thing you can do with their bagels is good - toasted or not, sandwich, spread, whatever, it's all great. The drinks are good too, a good cappuccino every time I go. I've been told their smoothies and juices are also awesome.
The bagels here can't be beat. The pumpernickel everything is my all-time favorite bagel I have ever had. The menu is huge with lox, flavored cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, lunch, fresh smoothies and juices, coffee, and baked goods. It's pricier than a corner deli but almost always worth the extra cost. The one complaint I have is it is ALWAYS crowded in here. Even when I've ordered ahead online, I've had to wait. Your best bet is to go at an unusual time/ not during the breakfast rush
The best time to go is on a weekday – when you don’t have to fight crowds or wait in line. It can be stuffy inside. But a cool crisp, winter day, sitting at their patio tables, or on the sidewalk, the sun is shining over ninth Street, eating a perfect everything egg bagel with dill and cucumber, cream cheese, and smoked salmon – wow. This is why I live in New York.
Great bagels and great breakfast sandwiches although the sandwiches are pricey. The coffee is terrible! The iced coffee is undrinkable! Good service and they get orders right. I wish they had mini bagels (and at least mediocre coffee), but five stars because they are my favorite bagel around.
The Bagel Pub is so good, we have come back multiple times after moving an hour away. They make their own bread and only use too quality ingredients for an amazing meal every time. If you are nearby, this is one of the top must-try places in the area.
Dankest bagel to exist. The everything bagel has so much flavor and my fav schmear is the lox & scallion combo. This is the best location too. We’ve tried all the ones in Brooklyn. Bomb 💣
just a delightful stalwart shop of the neighbourhood. even on the rare occasion that the bagel isn’t amazing (about 4% of the time) it’s still better than literally any other place around. i frequently crave bagels and this place perfectly sates that desire.
Bagel Pub has the best bagels around. Crusty exterior and a doughy interior. Our favorite by far. They have tons of flavored cream cheese options (including a tofu based vegan option) and the egg sandwiches are great too. I’ve been for lunch and the salads and sandwiches are great too, but nothing beats the bagels.
Amazing place! In NYC for a few days & we plan to go back AGAIN. It was SO fantastic! Staff was friendly and it was such a fun vibe.
Bagel Pub was just what my husband and I needed to start our time visiting our son in Brooklyn. Friendly faces behind the counter. Backyard outdoor seating (carrying the food out yourself). A-MAZ-ing selection of cream cheese spreads for bagels. They also had a number of breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. Food was made quickly and was very good.
Our family loves the Bagel Pub. The food is always fresh. The portions are generous and the service is first rate. There are a lot of reasons to choose this restaurant over all the others in the area. But the main reason we go is the wonderful JoAnna who manages this location. JoAnna welcomes us warmly every time we visit (and one of our family goes to "The Pub" every day!). JoAnna's team loves her. They are a well tuned machine that provide caring and gracious service to every customer. If you have to wait for your special order the wait time is brief. You'll never see the staff standing around, looking at their phones or disregarding you. JoAnna makes certain that everyone is well served with a genuine smile and gracious thanks for choosing Bagel Pub over other eateries. We initially went to the Bagel Pub for convenience. Now, we go there to see our friend JoAnna, and know that we are just one family of many who enjoy her warmth and expert management. Go to the Bagel Pub! You won't be disappointed. We hope you find this review helpful. Respectfully submitted
Everything here is so good. The bagels are fresh, soft and chewy on the inside with a hard shell. Great New York bagel, my favorite in park slope. They offer a wide variety of flavors and options for cream cheese including vegan options. The shakes and drinks are great. The cookies are soft and so fresh and good. They make some killer sandwiches as well. The chicken cutlet sandwiches in particular are my favorite. They offer promotions, which I never remember to use and have a great app for delivery. The service is always very friendly and extremely efficient. A great cafe and bagel place in park slope!
What a lovely delightful place. I loved the first impression I got when I walked in here. The Atmosphere is friendly and service is quick. Looking for a New York Bagel experience? right here. I can't say it is the "best" bagel spot, but it will definitely suit your expectations. We tried so many different flavors and they were all delicious. The coffee (got their cold brew that they were advertising outside) was honestly a slight disappointment but no complaints. Lovely breakfast/ brunch spot. Please, stop by!
Amazing hospitality here. Omar greeted us and answered all of our questions, and provided superb customer service. Will 100% return to this place in the future.
Excellent bagel, quick and courteous service, and the bagel was served warm with a generous (prob 900 calories worth) of cream cheese. 100% would recommend.
One of my favorite bagels place in the neighborhood. I been coming here for years and since the renovations the place looks really nice (cleaner) they did a really good job, also they have a backyard and all the staff is friendly. There’s many choices of cream cheese’s and bake goods, also the wraps are really good. Coffee is a little strong but I like it that way. My favorite thing to order is the Lox #1 with pumpernickel bagel or egg bagel is always on point (order that you won’t regret it), love it! And love how they decor for the Holiday Season!
Bagel Pub was worth every minute, to the delectable food, to the Christmas cheer as I sat and listened to the holiday Spirit, you should come and experience it for yourself. The music, atmosphere and customer service was a moment to remember as I am off to go home to Texas. Such a delight to finish off my time here 🎄🎁
I’ve been coming to Bagel Pub at this location for +12 years. They have the best bagels in my opinion in Park Slope. Over Bagel World, La Bagel, Terrace Bagels, Bagel Hole, etc. They also have the largest ones. Some other ones are maybe 70% or 60% the size. While I have seen the price go up over the years. A bagel used to cost $1 flat including tax but now a single loose bagel 🥯 costs over $2. But cost aside, they have the largest and best bagels in the slope. Good place to catch up with a friend for coffee. My go-to bagel is the whole wheat sesame.
I appreciate a stuffed bagel, solid customer service, and a calming environment to enjoy my food in. Bagel pub has it all, from an indoor dining section to an outdoor seating with sections basking in the sun, and in the shadows. Have your pick with where you would like to sit. Enjoy the bites of goodness. You can’t go wrong with lox and avocado.
Dropped in to grab bagels and a few sandwiches to start the day. Staff was courteous and food was ready in minutes. Good bagels and an impressive collection of crème cheese flavors that make it look more like a gelatoria than bagel shop. All around a good experience and everyone’s order (all 8) where on point. Well played Bagel Pub, well played 😀
Bagel Pub makes the best bagels in the hood, IMO. The are just the right size. Not so large that the center is a bit raw. Not so small that you feel you are not getting your money’s worth. Get The Hulk, best green smoothie with pineapple, greens, mango, and coconut water. Yum. Vegan spreads, too. I give he Blueberry Bagel 💯 out of 💯. Eat it plain and if you go there early enough, it’s hot! Nice staff. Always moving and filling orders.
My favorite here is something I’d get as a kid- egg bagel toasted with butter and jelly. The bagels are perfect. The butter melts into the bread almost like an English muffin getting into all the nooks-and-crannies. It’s a fast-paced location and a crowd is quick to form on line. I can say I’ve had everything from egg sandwiches to the variety of cream cheeses to simple butter and jelly. They’re all great. Highly recommend.
This place is amazing! We are vegan and the fact that they have tofu cream cheese is impressive. And it doesn’t even cost any more. For a bagel this good, I would pay three times the price! Such a good value! I wound up bringing one for each of my friends 14 hours home. And we could order them online and have them ready by the time we walked the couple blocks to get there. I’m drooling just remembering these bagels!
I stopped by here on my way home from Europe. I've been eating at restaurants for the past 3 weeks and I'm a food snob anyway. So I was expecting to be settling when I came in here. But this place was effortlessly amazing! Friendly staff and notable community feel amongst the patrons. Very diverse offerings, from fancy coffees and savory bagel sandwiches to fresh juices and salads with topping for every palate. The place was clean and large and the ordering/paying process was obviously well thought out because it felt organized and this allowed me to THINK while ordering. With such a rich menu, this is an invaluable factor because I hate feeling rushed and pressured to decide only because they have only one guy taking orders and preparing food and taking payment. Here, everyone seemed to competently handle their part of the process! I took my order to go. A few bagel sandwiches and some smoothies and pastries. I was in and out in 10 minutes, leaving with my order and 4 well wishes for the day from the staff and fellow customers. (They take credit cards, btw.) Now the best part.... the bagels are delicious! The perfect chewiness. Bacon that really tasted like bacon should. Egg cooked to perfection. Smoothies that taste like I make at home! Not just ice with a little fruit in it. And pastry that was flavorful instead of just packed with sugar. I'd come here everyday if I lived in Brooklyn. And I'd definitely visit again if I come through. For now, I hope you all enjoy as much as I did. I'm writing this review 3 hours later and I'm still smiling. That says a lot.
Great service, EXCELLENT coffee, smoothies and juices. Bagels ate very good but not as good as, LA Bagel on 7ave (who's coffee is horrible btw). If I were to recommend a bagel shop in park slope it would be this place. Vegan options available.
So crowded. If you are claustrophobic you don't want to go here on a Saturday morning. But wow the bagels were delicious! Coffee was good too. The banana latte is made with a real banana and it's ... Well, it's worth trying once.
The veggie omelet on toast is wonderful for a breakfast to go. Customer service is seemingly good. Good cashiers w/o a side of attitude with your coffee. Really enjoy the lox capers onion cream cheese on a bagel.
Their bagels are very high quality but please, I implore you, stick to ordering bagels. My first go around at a burger was so bad and burnt I thought it was a fluke. A few weeks later I tried again and it was not as bad, but still pretty substandard. So yea, their bagels are great, but if you want a burger go to the McDonald's next door (not joking).
Huge bagels, generous cream cheese, and good coffee. Perfect for a morning fuel up or getting ready for a big bar crawl. The bagels are enormous but nice and chewy. The creme cheese is good and they really slather it on. Nothing like the old fashioned everything bagel with scallion and bacon creme cheese. The coffee is also pretty good, the cold brew was ok though a bit bitter but the normal drip hot was excellent. Dog friendly seats outside of you can grab a table too, otherwise make a picnic at prospect park.
This is voted one of the best bagel place in NY and you can tell from the crowd people are voting with their $$. The food is good even though I tend to stick to only a couple of things (protein omelette on toasted whole wheat bagel). Coffee is solid but I haven't tried the juices or smoothies. My problem is the absolute chaotic order process. Every time I go I wonder if this will be the time they forget my order, which has happened. And you can clearly see other people are in that same position...say something or keep waiting. The people in back are hustling like mad and they're pumping out orders but it makes no sense as to who gets what or when.
I love bagel pub and wish I could give it 5 stars, but the coffee here is just not good. The cold brew has a bizarre flavor I have never tasted anywhere else. Needs a good dose of sugar and milk to make acceptable. Saving grace is the bagels (and sandwiches made with bagels) are fantastic. Love this place especially when the weather starts to turn cool and I want something hot in the morning.
UPDATE: I asked for extra cream cheese on my next order and they delivered. Revising my original review below. Thanks to the owner for the response! Original review: $6 (including tip) sesame bagel with the tiniest amount of cream cheese I’ve ever seen on a bagel. Absolute rip off. It should be a crime to serve a NY bagel like this.
I ordered a small tea here along with bagels. The tea was hot so I waited for 10 minutes before drinking it, which was annoying but whatever. After trying to let the tea cool I went for a sip and it destroyed my tongue and mouth. Please consider dialing back the tea temperature. Sounds uptight - but if I had try to enjoy my tea as it was served, I probably wouldn’t have a tongue anymore. Bagels aren’t bad, counter girls are nice but I will say it takes above average long to get any food order. Like ~8+ mins.
at Bagel pub and had 2 diff employees completely ignore and one look at me, said nothing and walked out the back door, and the place is completely empty at 2pm...so after waiting awhile, one of the bagel guys came over, took my order, then the girl finally arrived from the back door w bananas, talked to her coworker then made a previous smoothie put it down n said nothing, not calling out whose it was, then she inquired after a few, "oh yeah", employee didn't even look up at her...then mine was made and then just left there on the counter, no apologies for disappearing and for delay... this place has the WORST Service! Like sorry for coming in ladies! *edit* have been dropping in since here and there and the pace of the place seems less slow & w/ less attitude ;)
The bagel is ok, but it's still a New-York style bagel. Try Montreal style bagel instead, it'll blow your mind. The staff is polite and well intentioned. But come on! Why do I need to wait almost 10 minutes to get one single bagel?
This place has a really interesting selection of spreads and bagels, so there's something for everyone. They also have a courtyard in the back, although being in NYC it's small and has that classic NYC grime to it. I thought the bacon egg and cheese was pretty good. It's a sloppy mess of a sandwich packed with lots of bacon, eggs, and cheese, so it's pretty much what you'd expect. No problems with presentation. I got mine toasted on an onion bagel. I would have rated higher, but virtually all of the onion bits were burned when I got it, which was definitely unpleasant. So maybe I chose the wrong kind of bagel, but either way, the burned onions definitely hurt the quality for me. Affordable otherwise though. Might give it another shot when I'm in town.
Excellent bagels. I would even argue that they have the best bagels in the borough. One random observation during the last time I stopped in to pick up a dozen bagels. Ordered at the back of the store. Made my way to the cashier. Paid. Left no tip at the register. The fella that took my order brought my dozen bagels to the register and reached into the pasty shelf to throw in a bonus because I bought a dozen. (Their version of a baker's dozen, I guess.) The cashier stopped him and discreetly told him in Spanish that I didn't leave a tip, so no bonus for me. Little did she know I understand and can speak Spanish. Needless to say I haven't been back since.
My bagel was cold, which was disappointing. Toasting would have helped, but they didn’t offer and I didn’t think of it. I’m visiting from CA and I was looking forward to a good New York bagel, but this wasn’t it. It’s a cute vintage place. Crummy music.
Fun place, definitely “insta worthy” and the prices reflect the ambiance. The quality of the bagel, however, is lackluster and you can easily find a better tasting and budget friendly option not too far away. 3/5 because I still like to go here a few times a year, especially when people come to town so they can sample the bagel offerings of the area.
The bagel was meh, way too doughy for me. I have had better . I asked for it to be toasted however, it didn’t taste toasted . I did love the variety of spreads and the fruit actually looked fresh. Loved the look of the place. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the cashiers on their phone. I found it to be rude and extremely unprofessional! Maybe if the spent less time on the phone my bagel would have been toasted properly!
I love Bagel Pub! The bagels are delicious - some of the best in Park Slope. I was, however, disheartened when I arrived to pick up an order for 2 dozen bagels I had called in days prior and paid for over the phone. I arrived 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and the order was not ready. The person I spoke to at the counter was quite cold, dismissive and short with me. They seemed rather confident that the mistake was on my end. They suggested that I placed the order with the wrong location, that I hadn’t placed it at all, etc. Because I placed the order and paid over the phone, I did not have a physical receipt so I showed the staff member the transaction on my bank account and the phone call to their location in my phone’s history. I was still met with the same dismissive attitude and I was told “we need an actual receipt” though that was never even given to me. After a few minutes of waiting I was simply told “we have the order”. It was filled and I was grateful to be able to get what I had purchased. In a situation such as this, one would hope for a simple apology or even a small discount. But I received no such thing. I remained calm and cordial during this frustrating interaction and wish I had received the same in return. Bagel Pub is wonderful and I just hope this was a hiccup or the result of a bad day.
Chain bagel stores with several convenient locations in Brooklyn. The colourful display window definitely excites all bagel lovers! The shop always invents new special spread flavors which never bores you. If you are a sweet tooth, you could order mixed berries or oreo fillings served with blueberry or raisin bagels. Low fat spread available with tons of variations, like tofu and veggie ones. *Egg everything bagel w/ tofu veggie cc * Onion bagel w/ bacon chipotle cc Bagels: The bagel would be perfect if the texture was more chewy and denser. Giant size which could hardly be grabbed by one hand! Girls with smaller appetite (like me) would be satisfied after eating just half of it. Onion bagel has a prettier round bagel shape and smells alluring after toasted. While egg everything bagel is less desirable (looks more like a sandwich). The roasted garlic on top unfortunately doesn’t enhance the overall taste. Cream Cheese: Generous layer of tofu veggie cream cheese yet it was a bit too greasy for me. Instead, the amount of bacon chipotle cream cheese was adequate to reach a perfect balance. A bit spicy but acceptable for me. My Recommendations: Onion bagel, bacon chipotle cream cheese Worth Returning ? Maybe
My first experience today was not good, my children and i were so excited to try this place, but were QUICKLY disappointed!---Overpriced!! Two bagels cost me $13, the coffee was stale, and all of the workers were unhelpful, looked miserable and had very NASTY ATTITUDES! Don't think I'll return.. (Our bagels were delicious though)
I come here quite often and really wanted to give a much higher rating but on the 18th of July I placed an order and when I received my order the cream cheese was not what I ordered. I processed to ask for a fix and it turned out to be an argument. This is very poor customer service. I did all I could to avoid an argument but the gentleman behind the counter insisted on trying to get me to say I was the one who ordered incorrectly "smh" I just kept asking for a fix which eventually he conceded and fixed my order. Aside, great products and fairly clean establishment.
They'll consistently make you wait to take your order even when there's no one else in the place.
Honestly, bagels are good, but service is not. I waited 30min for a simple order my last two times there. Every time I checked in, it seemed they had lost my order. It seems like they're prioritizing online orders which is a shame. On top of that it's not even cheap!
Good bagels pero the frequently give me dairy cream cheese when I always order tofu. It's a repulsive experience every time I bite into a sour cow milk cream cheese when I'm expecting sweet tofu cream cheese. I'm vegan, others keep kosher, or are lactose intolerant and it's disrespectful to continuously mess up the order. It's been over a year that this has been going on, it only happens at the 9th Street location. They know better, so why don't they do better?
We were looking forward to trying these bagels that were recommended by our Brooklyn relatives. We waited over 40 minutes to get our order, were offered no explanation other than they were busy (we saw 30+ people, who came after us, get their order) and then 2 of the 3 items were wrong. No apology . Bagels were fine.
Bad attitudes in there- several people.. A simple bagel with butter and this was the lighter half ! Could of at least let me know .. all those bagels- you could of toasted a different one. Also ordered 2 eggs bacon and sausage and a coffee a whole separate time and it was 18.75 . They do what they want and they have terrible customer service! Wish it was different bc the bagels are good.
Disappointed in the changes to the menu, frequent bagel pub for bacon, egg, and cheeses… there has been a reduction in the amount of egg & bacon you get and the quality of bacon has gone down or has been changed to beef bacon 😢
ordered blueberry bagel with mixed berry and some salami on the side….. tasted nothing like blueberry or any kind of mixed berry at alllll!! more like a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. I had better bagel in Brooklyn and not worth the price
I have had a few instances where I was given an incomplete order only to discover this when I got home. When I brought it to the staffs attention via phone they asked that I come in another time and they would provide me with a free item. When I attempted this instead of being apologized to for my inconvenience, I was questioned as if I had made this up. This is very disappointing as I used to live near the 7th Ave location who had the best staff and service. Hopefully this one will get its act together.
The good is food, but they put the price of the food all the way on the other side of the room. And it is printed very small.when you go up to the register to pay the cashier they can charge you whatever they feel like charging you and talk about overprice I usually buy a drink and a sandwich and the amount was usually 16 dollars.then the next time I went i decided to just buy the sandwich and not get the drink cashier charge me 15dollars and change. I went to the deli ri g ht across the street got me a sandwich and a drink7dollars
This is the last time I’m going into the 9th street location (7th Ave location is great, no problem there). Too often I go there and there’s a problem (either a loooong wait, the order is wrong…). Today I went in and no one was behind me on line until after I ordered. My order was a simple one, 2 bagels with cream cheese and lox) The placed filled up right after I placed my order. I proceeded to watch as the line of people who ordered after me got their food (many ordered items waaay more involved than my 2 bagels). I kept inquiring where my order was and was told “they’re working on it”. Two bagels, for 15 minutes???!!! Finally I asked to cancel my order only to be told I can only receive store credit. I’m done with bagel pub on 9th.
Never returning here. Food is ok but not worth what they charge. Walked 20 minutes after getting home and finding out they forgot my wife’s order, they offered nothing but “they forgot to put it in the bag.” Worth going the extra few blocks for Bagel World on 3rd St where the food is just as good, prices are better, and the staff are phenomenal.
I purchased two bagels, one onion and the other garlic. They were the worst bagels I have ever had. They did not crisp correctly in the toaster and had no flavor. Let me correct that I could taste the onion and the garlic but the breading itself had no flavor. I have been eating bagels for over 50 years. I will never purchase another bagel from this place again. If you want a good bagel go somewhere else. This place does have other things but advertise themselves as a bagel place. Their bagels are terrible. I cannot comment on the rest of their offerings as I only purchased the two bagels.
I have eaten from here a lot but as of lately this bagel store has hired some really unprofessional staff with attitude. Please teach your staff to be nicer to your customers. There's older people from the community that need a little bit of patience and your rudeness is simply disgusting. There's also zero sense of urgency and have people waiting a while. Teach your staff manners!! Or hire people with great clients service.
I ordered iced coffees, one with milk and one without milk. I tasted the one with milk first and it tasted terrible. I couldn't understand why it tasted so off. I then tasted the one without milk and it was the nastiest coffee I've ever had and I'm not even a coffee snob. I started feeling dizzy shortly after. The coffee was totally sour. It must have been extremely old. It's so irresponsible to sell rotten coffee to paying customers. I wish I could've gotten my money back!
Would have given them 0 star if it’s an option. My friend placed an order online for two bagels and two drinks this morning and she waited for an hour to finally get her order. She arrived to the bagel shop around 11:15am and got her order around 12-12:20pm. She asked the staffs for 5 times and they all said to her that her food was still in the process of making. How could they take one entire hour to just make two bagels and two drinks? MAKES NO SENSE! Because of their bad and slow customer service my friend was late for her work. None of the staff even cared to help her out with her order and just let her waited ONE HOUR! I told my friend to never order at this place again. There are plenty other places that we can get bagels, it’s not like theirs are the best. Really disappointed.
Pretty disappointed. Service has gone downhill and waited 45 minutes for 2 bagels when people with similar orders came in after received them before me. When I finally received it, the bagel was missing bacon which was in the order. When I brought it back I waited another 15 minutes and then when I opened it, the bagel was right but had traces of green substance which could be avocado or pesto and I'm allergic to pine nuts. Decided to go to another bagel place down the block. Not sure I will go to bagel pub
Two weeks in a row has put me through the soul-rending agony of dragging my sausage egg and cheddar home in the 90 degree heat only to find American cheese. Might as well have just snatched twelve dollars out of my pocket, at least that way I don't have any hopes to be dashed. Anyway, I'd recommend the sausage egg and cheddar...if I could get one
TLDR; $50 for 2 bagels and drinks and your order is consistently wrong. The bagels are bomb but I can’t trust them with an order. They just don’t read notes; Call them to let them know the order is entirely wrong and they’re rude about it. Not crazy notes either — lox, not lox cream cheese. 1 sugar in my coffee (tastes like 3). A straw please. Straws are impossible for them 🤷♀️ They don’t always get it wrong but it’s happened times for me to regret spending all that money on food I didn’t even order.
I expected so much of this place but I was so disappointed. Service isn't just bad - it's terrible! They took a very long time to make the order, in a very reluctant way which is so weird. And it was just ok. Then a lady was yelling a count down for us to swallow the food so they could close earlier. If I could, I would retrieve the tip I gave them. They certainly did not deserve it.
Got a gluten free bagel with veggie cream cheese, lox, onion, & tomato. I go to eat it nearby. After wolfing down a half in two bites I realized there was no fish on it. I brought it back and the staff asked me where the other half was. I told them it took me eating it to realize there was no fish on it. They looked at me like I was crazy or a problematic customer. They clearly made a mistake. No apology no nothing. They rushed to make me another one but it wasn’t toasted and the made it in a roughshod manner to get me out of their hair. It was no good without being toasted. I won’t ever be back. Staff was totally rude for no reason.
this is actually my favourite bagel place and the best bagels around, but i just bit into my daily bagel that i always order with plain tofu cream cheese and it had dairy cream cheese instead, which happens about once every other week. it’s just so irksome that such a mistake is so incredibly common, especially when someone is lactose intolerant. or if this happened once a year it would be easier to overlook, but the fact that it happens multiple times a month is just so irksome cuz then i have to take time to return it and wait for a new order to be made and that time really adds up. of course the market solution would be to take my business elsewhere, but i don’t want to because the crew is so nice and friendly and the bagels are indeed the best. i just wish these mistakes were so incredibly frequent. :(
Love that they have store bought gluten free bagels available that aren’t that bad but it is ALWAYS freezing in there!!! All I want is to sit and enjoy a little breakfast. :(They claim it’s because of deliveries but it’s whenever someone goes through delivery or not. It’s Winter! The heat that tries to pump through is fruitless. I’m sure the heating bills are astronomical. Either way… if you can go to another location.
