We decided to stop at this cozy little spot in Little Italy for a quick coffee break. Although it’s a small space, it’s very welcoming and has a charming atmosphere. The service was friendly, and the cappuccino was delicious, though $7.25 for each cappuccino feels like a bit of an exaggeration. When I looked it up later to write this review, I found it listed as Café Palermo, though I’d seen it referred to as Cannoli King. A bit unusual, but overall, a lovely experience for a coffee stop in Little Italy!
Nikki, has the Atmosphere positivity Awesome. She made it worthwhile to seat and enjoy our treats. When we order the wrong item, Nikki immediately changed the treat. The place has Comfortable and Joy Presence in the restaurant. Nikki, asked now which treat is your favorite.? The lobster tail won .... Wonderful 👍🏽. Everyone that are visiting NY and Lives near by NY, come to Caffé Palermo for your desserts. You will be pleased 😄 Enjoy your New Year 🕛 🎊
We visited a few weeks ago and had a lovely time. The cookies and cannolis were fantastic, and the espresso drinks were amazing. We would have tried more, but it was late in the evening and they were closing soon, so many items were already sold out. During our visit, my mom shared that my grandfather and grandmother—who have since passed—used to come here when they were dating and continued to visit after they were married, even when my mom was a child. It was incredibly special to sit in a place with so much history—established over 100 years ago, I believe—that my family went out of their way to visit for special occasions and memorable nights. As we sat there and walked around the neighborhood, I found myself picturing my grandparents dating and my mom and uncles as children in the café. It was nostalgic and bittersweet, and I truly hope this place continues to thrive so I can keep coming back for many years to come. Thank you for the delicious treats and the
Cafe Palermo or the “Cannoli King” was very good. Great cannolis as the name implies but also good coffee too. I have a coffee cannoli and it was the best I’ve had in a while. I would recommend. It is quite expensive for what you get but I think it is worth going one time.
This week we visited Caffé Palermo, home of the Cannoli King, Baby John Delutro, and the best cannolis in all of New York City! As always, it was delicious! Even if we have to go out of our way, while visiting NYC, we do it because we love this little Italian bakery! This time I had the espresso macchiato and my wife had the vanilla latte… Absolutely amazing coffees! I always get a chocolate cannoli and she always gets a cheese cone! That cheese cone is to die for! It’s basically cheesecake stuffed in a sweetened vanilla crust! Delicious! If you’re in Manhattan, it’s worth whatever mode of transportation you have to use to get there! Go see the Cannoli King! They are quick, Service is always spot on, and they treat you like family!

During my trip to New York, I went to explore Little Italy and discovered a wonderful place called Caffé Palermo. I absolutely loved their cannolis,truly unforgettable! One of the employees told me that the pizzeria next door served the best pizza he’d ever had, and I have to agree. it was the most delicious pizza I’ve ever tasted. That’s where I had the pleasure of meeting Sara, the owner. She was incredibly kind and elegant, and she told me about her boutique nearby. As we spoke, she shared that she and her husband, affectionately known as Baby John, have been in the business together for over 50 years. I was so impressed by the way she carries herself, with so much confidence, grace, and dedication. It’s clear she’s deeply involved in everything. Later, I stopped by the boutique, which was just as charming as she is. What stood out the most was a beautiful portrait hanging on the wall of Sara and Baby John. She told me how well things are going for them in the business and honestly, Baby John is a lucky man to have such a remarkable woman by his side. Seeing a couple so united in both love and work was truly inspiring. Congratulations to them both!
This place is beyond amazing.Coming from am old school Italian family, it felt like home. My friend and I came in and samples several different pastries, all of them were perfection. They have the best pineapple martini as well and the staff was just beyond great. I never got our servers name but she is legit my new bff😂. Came in day 2 for more dessert before we had to head out. The shell is crisp, the filling smooth and perfectly sweet. They also serve multiple kinds of tiramisu, cheesecakes, cakes, and authentic Italian desserts you won’t easily find elsewhere. Each one is dangerously good—you’ll want to try them all. They also offer gelato, sorbets, and gelato-based drinks, making it an ideal one-stop shop for dessert lovers. And if that wasn’t enough, they even serve pizza, so you can truly enjoy a full meal before finishing with something sweet. Caffè Palermo is a Little Italy staple—cozy, welcoming, and always satisfying.
The food is delicious. The pasta stand was the best one yet at the San Genaro feast. And the cannolis were out of this world!!! I wouldn't even think about stepping foot in front of Ferrara's. I will absolutely be back again soon!! Me and my friends love Caffé Palermo.
Best desert EVER!!!! We had the canonoli's, lobster tail and rainbow cookies. OMG! I can't even believe how good they were!! Hands down best cannoli I have ever had, and that is saying a lot, since I get it anywhere it is served (it's my favorite desert). Hubby and kids agreed this was the best desert we have had in NYC. FYI, the rainbow cookies are a flavor journey. Never had them before but highly recommend. It's like Willy Wonka invented it. It changes flavors as you chew it.
Great little place to grab a quick cannoli and coffee in Little Italy if it’s not crazy busy. I actually got in and got a cannoli without waiting in line. After I order the cannoli and expresso was at my table in no time. Right after I ordered the rush came and there was a line out of the door. I would recommend going on a weekday I imagine going on the weekend may be even more crowded in little Italy. I got the chocolate dip, pistachio, and original cannoli. My favorite was the chocolate dip. It was delightfully, flavored with a touch of cinnamon. The chocolate shell was light and crunchy and not too chocolatey. I would say a must stop to try a cannoli from the cannoli king! I will be leaving a review at both Caffe Palermo and its alter ego the Cannoli King.
Their cannoli is so delicious. The cream is so fresh and the shell is just the right texture. The pistachio cake is divine. Melts in your mouth perfection. The pastries are super good, but they are rather pricey for the size. That's new york for ya.
Must visit here when you come to Little Italy! Welcoming and informative staff with quick and attentive service. The owner was really sweet, too! I can say the chocolate cake is delicious 😋 but the lobster tale was old not crunchy and has a fridge flavor. The jar of sangria was extremely bitter we spoke with the waitress about it. I paid for it but wasn't drinkable. The salon and restrooms were clean, they have a friendly atmosphere and good employees. Great variety of desserts.

Nice atmosphere and location in Little Italy. The place itself actually feels authentic and relaxed, which I liked. Food was decent — I had an cafe affogato, a small baby cheesecake waffle cone, and an espresso. The sweets and ice cream were on point, and espresso hot. The issue was the service and price opaqueness. $25 for 3 regular items seemed high, and staff behind the counter were unnecessarily rude and impatient during payment. There was confusion with the card terminal and instead of handling it professionally, the interaction became uncomfortable. It’s a shame because the atmosphere of the café is great. With friendlier service and transparent producing this place could easily be much better.
Pastries are really good and fresh, not too sweet, just perfect. Chai vanilla latte was so good and the cannoli on point. The service is not the best, they seated me at the worse terrible next to the door, did not serve us water while they did to other tables and took forever to charge me even thought they brought the bill very fast.

Although the cannolis are delicious, I had a negative experience. I stopped in to takeout a variety of small cannolis for my Valentine’s Day dessert and was overcharged, now that I see when I checked the menu online. My bad for not asking when the bill seemed too high, but I was in a rush. Never again, either at the Caffe or at a street fair.
Visited twice. The first time was great, but the second experience was very disappointing. I ordered two cannolis and a water, and the waitress told me to hurry up and eat because it ‘wasn’t worth having a table open for that order even though the place wasn’t busy. That comment was unnecessary and made me feel unwelcome. Customer service matters just as much as the food. Please remind your staff to treat guests with courtesy and respect. I should’ve taken a picture of her and a video of the disgusting behavior.

I was really disappointed first of all because there is no real Sicilian cannolo in this place but also I have to remind you that there are candied fruit instead of fruit or pistachios placed like this to attract them but the candied fruit has orange peel and cherry One feels helpless in the face of such rudeness. Now I understand why the Italian neighborhood, Little Italy as they call it, has shrunk because there are no more Italians, only tourist traps. However, with these simple images, feast your eyes; perhaps you haven't understood what Sicilian cannoli are.
