I have been coming to this place for years and I’m sorry I’m just coming around to writing a review. It has been a favorite in the neighborhood ever since I moved here in 2020. My most recent experience was on a Friday night. My partner and I were able to walk right in and I couldn’t believe it was empty. I do, however, get this as takeout more regularly than I do go and sit down. We were greeted immediately and we had our pick of seats. The staff quickly brought water and took our order as soon as we were ready. First off, the dry aged beef potstickers are the absolute best I’ve had without a doubt. Juicy, tasty, perfectly crispy on the outside. If you get nothing else, get these. We also had the Shanghai Belly noodles which were outstanding. The “worst” thing we had was a chicken bun, which was really good but couldn’t compete with the other things. Overall, if you’re in the neighborhood please checkout this place for a quick snack or a delicious Chinese meal!
Really simple and unassuming but the food is fantastic. The dumpling skins are chewy, crispy in parts and really thin. The pork juicy dumplings aren't exactly soup dumplings, but be careful on the bites anyway. The vegetable dumplings are really tasty and the little crispiness they add on top is so extra. This is a place to come back to again and again.
unassuming chinese spot but their dumplings are incredible. the flavors are so good and juicy, i’m really impressed with this spot. a little disappointed that they’re kinda pricey but i’ll pay the premium for the quality of taste. great for solo dining or a casual snack/meal!
They have some reviews on the walls that say "best pot stickers in NYC" etc and I thought "sure, they're prob good." But guys. These are seriously the juiciest most flavorful pot stickers EVER. I got the dry aged beef pot stickers. Highly recommend. They make everything in this tiny little open kitchen space so yeah, it takes a while, but they're making it all from scratch and it's so so good. And they have delivery so if you live or are staying around here, you don't have to wait in the shop. I will say, the bubble tea isn't what I'm used to (I like less tea, more Kung Fu), it's very tea-ish. But for someone who actually likes tea it's prob good.
We were out and about in Brooklyn until we were craving Dumplings. We came here and our dumpling cravings were satisfied. We ordered their Juicy Pork Dumplings and Beef Potstickers. The Pork Dumplings are a delicious combination of tender and juicy pork. You can taste the spices on it. They were fried and delicious. As for the The Beef Potstickers, they were served with savory beef filling that was perfectly seasoned. It was packed with flavor, giving a nice punch in every bite.Nothing beats crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside dumplings. Overall, delicious!
Solid spot. I had the beef w/ broccoli and pork dumplings. Exactly what I wanted. The service was great and the food was delicious! What else could one ask for? Maybe true love!

East Wind Snack Shop is definitely a destination in Brooklyn. I had the best vegetable dumplings I have ever eaten in my life there. The har gao dumplings were also amazing. The vegetable noodles and the spring rolls were so delicious. I highly recommend East Wind if you are ever in New York.
Excellent little shop with amazing dumplings — one of my favorite parts of coming back home from college!
I stopped by to get take out and ordered the Shanghai pork belly noodles and WOW. The noodles were so delicious it had a creamy sauce and the pork belly was so soft and pulled apart easily. The cucumber had a nice refreshing taste. Service was pretty fast and you can sit inside and eat if you want to. Definitely coming back to try other items!!
Delicious flavorful and authentic. Can’t find the real deal like this in this part of BK

Good dumpling place. Taste was pretty good. They do have vegan option. Sitting is very limited. There is only 1 table with 2 chairs outside. Price is slightly higher than what I think it should be but considering the location, I think it is fair.
So just ordered three types of dumplings from them, delivery order. Order came quickly, but not a single dumpling sauce in with the order. Strange. Dumplings usually come with sauce. Called up and asked, "Do your dumplings normally come with sauce?" "Yes," they said. "So will you send the missing sauce?" I asked. "No!" they said. Luckily I can whip up my own. The dumplings are really really really good though.
Had 2 gluten free/celiac options. Happy Buddha Vegetables and Shrimp Dumplings. Both were good and made for a filling meal.

Check the photos for the real prices, they changed them in store but not on google. Good food though
Food was good BUT portion is too small for the price. Pork dumplings (5pieces) and the other is a bun (pork meat tender and bun was soft with decent anount of sauce qnd garlic garnish on top).
it’s just alright. expensive for what it is. the beef dumplings are worth it, the pork is dry and relatively flavorless, the shrimp is good but expensive. the beef and broccoli was a surprise As it’s more like slices of pot roast with chinese broccoli. it grew on me but still expensive for the portion.
Good food, especially the dumplings. A bit pricey, and service is regularly slow and inattentive, even when the shop isn't half full.

I had great expectations for this place seeing that it may be the best dumplings but it was so disappointing. It smelled delicious as they were cooking inside and I love dumplings but these were just ... ok. Super pricey for the amount of food you are getting, too. Their bubble tea was not great neither...

We order from this place maybe once every couple weeks and never have a problem, however tonight the portion size of the veggie noodles was literally halved. I’m pretty shocked considering the portions are usually pretty good, extremely disappointing.

I was lured into the restaurant with posted rave reviews, thinking I was about to have some of the best dumplings I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a quick dine-in snack: fried pork dumplings and bottled water. As they were cooking I smelled burning oil so I grew concerned they may be scorched. I’m so glad I did not order them to go. What I received were dumplings that were badly burned on the underside (literally black), and doughy on the outside. I wish this review mechanism allowed for photo upload. The filling was semi-flavorable chopped pork balls. I questioned how they could serve something so burnt. And I had to ask for replacement dumplings because the host didn’t seem concerned about how the dumplings were prepared. The replacement dumplings were fried normally. I noticed another review noting their food was burnt. There seems to be an issue with quality control. Perhaps their good reviews were all pre-pandemic and since then there has been a decline. I also had to wipe down my table even though the place was practically empty. I will not be returning, and do not recommend, given all the many favorable options NYC has to offer.
