We had a wonderful experience at Kalye Restaurant! The place is beautiful with a great ambiance that makes you feel comfortable right away. The food is absolutely delicious and truly feels like home in the Philippines. Every dish reminds you of authentic Filipino flavors. The staff are also very nice, welcoming, and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Filipino food in a cozy and friendly place!
Walked in with my husband before dinner rush and had a great time at Kalye. Our server Justyn was an absolute gem of a human, made us feel so welcomed. He gave great recommendations and informed us about the happy hour! Cant wait to go back. Must trys are bbq skewers(and the sauce that comes with it is the best—I put it on eveything), kunilaw and the chicken inasal (it was juicy and the rice was yum!).
thoughtful and deliciously crafted menu, beautiful drinks and good vibes all around - between the kind and attentive service and the chill r&b music, both were the cherry on top to complete such a cozy and inviting experience! perfect spot to catch up and share some classic filipino eats with friends and fam<3 or better yet, bring anyone who hasn’t tried filipino food before - it’ll be love at first bite🥹❤️ shoutout to kuya jeremiah!! looking forward to coming back sooooon🤙🏼
Jeremiah was our server both times we came here. He was amazing both times. The food was exceptional. We had the lechon kawale, Beef Sinigang, sliders, and Lumpia. The casava cake was authentic.

Soso good and such a homey vibe! the ube ice cream was also really good!
Kayle was the perfect place to host a kamayan / boodle fight and did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the entire team made us feel so welcome. We hosted 26 people and the staff, general manager, owner, office manager, bartenders, and chef (Vance!) were all incredibly kind and supportive, especially with a mix of Filipino and non Filipino guests. They helped with everything and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. The food was masarap abundant and meant for sharing. The flavors were unique with bright colorful veg and fruit that made the spread feel extra special. The decor was v cool + truly a gem in the LES. The whole experience felt easy warm and communal :) Oh, and the cocktails were FIRE.
After a 2 day, NYC pizza crawl, I was seriously craving Filipino food. A friend took me to Kalye, and it did not disappoint! It’s easy to see why this is a top-rated spot. The sisig was packed with flavor and had that crunchy texture. We also tried the ube sliders, which were a unique highlight, and the ube drink was the perfect way to wash it all down—not too sweet, just right. Huge shoutout to the team for going above and beyond with the service. They really made the experience special. If you're in NYC, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food and cocktails are innovative and amazing. The staff are top notch. Mains: Pork Sig: amazing Beef Kare-Kare: amazing Desserts: Ube ice cream: amazing Cocktails: Pepsi Paloma: amazing From Kalye to Calle: amazing (Cocktail with Pandan): amazing Kalye is absolutely worth a long detour. And for the culinary enthusiast, this place is absolutely the tiebreaker between this city and another.
Came here for dinner with my family. As soon as I walked in I immediately loved the vibes! This place is cozy with great music. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the Isaw Pancit Habhab and Pork sisg everything was so good! The isaw was not gamey at all and the pancit had a nice chew! The pork sisig was crunchy yet slightly sour and spicy from the pepper on top. Everything we ate was delicious and I definitely recommend the pork sisig. Also the owner rob was very nice and friendly even coming to our table to great us and stayed for a lovely little chat! This place is definitely awesome and we will be coming back! Thank you for a wonderful time and great friendly experience with the staff and everyone!
I made reservations for our group of 5 for a Sunday afternoon. Even though we arrived early, they were very pleasant and seated us right away. We ordered the okra, laing with chips, and a Boodle Fight. None of us knew what to expect as this had been our first time here. First of all, okra is not popular in general, but their dish was absolutely delicious and we were polite with each other, but there was a bit of longing in our eyes when it came down to the last okra. The coconutty laing and chips (which reminded me of chips and spinach artichoke dip but with flavors that came alive on the perfectly crispy chips) disappeared very quickly as well. The Boodle Fight was a huge platter of meats such as grilled chicken, grilled pork, and fried fish, with stir fried rice. There were several dips to experiment with too and you couldn't go wrong with any of them! To top off the meal, we treated ourselves to halo halo and buko pie. Our group was comprised of several foodies and a pescatarian. Every single one of us was blown away by the desserts - one commented that it was the best halo halo she ever had. It may seem like we were freely calling everything delicious, but we are actually a very picky group so these praises were earned by the restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was casual and fun, and the food was exciting and satisfying. A true gem!
Me and my brother just happened to come across this place while looking for a spot to get a drink. I'm glad we decided to go in. Great service, great food and great atmosphere. Charles the bartender is an awesome dude and the other people we met at the bar were great. Definitely going back
Looking for a spot to eat in LES and immediately went on Google to look at some choices that were in a 5 block radius. Found Kalye and could not believe the vibes of this place on A MONDAY! Live DJ banging tunes and it felt like I was in an episode of “The Boiler Room” young local folks there just vibing, enjoying food and drinks. Service was GREAT and could have totally been the opposite because of how crazy it was in there. The food was also delicious and so was the dessert, we had this coconut pie and this delicious ice cream. We even saw the 2025 Project Runway winner! We will definitely be back to experience more. Can’t wait… Go here!
This place is great for a casual date night or hangout. You get the filipino staples like sinigang, sisig and palabok and they have great drink selections that are unique. Try the elektra - great lychee and calamansi combo w vodka. Our server jerrimiah is the best! He's so attentive and explained all the dishes and you could tell he genuinely loves talking about the food and giving good service. Been back twice now. ❤️
I’ve been wanting to try Kalye for a while, and it did not disappoint—what an incredible way to celebrate my birthday! I booked a kamayan boodle fight brunch for a party of 14, and from start to finish, everything was seamless. The staff made us feel welcome right away, and the attention to detail and exceptional service truly elevated the whole experience. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. You get plenty of it, and the flavors were spot on—balanced, bold, and beautifully presented. I loved how they incorporated a mix of meats, seafood, fruits, and veggies so well. It was a full-on feast that felt both festive and comforting. They also have a creative drinks menu inspired by Darna, the iconic Filipino comic book heroine—such a cool and thoughtful touch. The ambiance is the perfect balance between modern, hip, and deeply rooted in tradition. Kalye isn’t just a place to eat; it’s an experience. My friends had a blast, and I already know this will be a regular spot for us. If you’re looking to introduce people to Filipino food—or just want a fantastic, unique dining experience—Kalye is a must.
We got the boodle fight club which is a $120 combo meal that serves 3-4 people. All of the food on there was yummy. My favorite was probably the skewers. All of them were super flavorful and juicy. I like that it also comes with some veg and pickled cabbage for a refreshing bite. I love the vibe of the place; It’s a great spot for some casual drinks. Overall tho 8 because it’s honestly not a lot of food for the price. We added an order of lumpia and between 4 people that was ~$45pp
