I've been to a lot of steak houses in Albuquerque and all over the country. This one tops ALOT of them. Santiago at the bar was absolutely fantastic and made my wife some fantastic cocktails. Janeta and Desiree made my wife's birthday extra special and they even got her a birthday card The steak was fantastic and the bread is super addictive. For a chain restaurant in Albuquerque is was impressed with every aspect. We will be back
This was my second time at this restaurant and I was immediately blown away by the immediacy, the professionalism, and the attention to detail. Our server Alexander was AMAZING! He made sure me and my partner had everything we needed last night, made some great food and drink suggestions, payed attention to small details ( i told him strawberries were my favorite and he put extra strawberries on my crème bruelle). All of the food we ordered was top notch and the best food i’ve ever had no joke. Steak was cooked to my perfect desire and was SUPER tender and juicy. I personally don’t care for seafood but the seafood at Ruths Chris is the only seafood i’ll try and actually enjoy. Alexander made this night extra special and memorable and we will be coming back thanks to Alexander.
Don't do much fine dining to compare, but everything about this place was fantastic; the drinks, the appetizer, the sides, the entrée and dessert. I also have to mention the impeccable service. Jaden was phenomenal.
It's not a place for everyday dining. This is one of my fave places to go to for special occasions, and our friend was in from out of in town and it was his birthday. This is the place you come to when you want to be treated well and money is not a concern. Do be prepared to PAY to be pampered. As always the the service is amazing. The food is terrific!! (my favorite is sweet potato casserole) DO NOT TOUCH THE PLATE when it is served to you as its too hot to touch....and the dessert is just as lovely. It's an entire experience, but it is well worth the time and money for this one in my opinion.
1st time visit for my husband's birthday. Must say I was impressed. The food was too die for, the service was exceptional. I will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone looking for an upscale dinning experience. 3rd visit!! Went back, this time to celebrate my parents 48th wedding ammiversary and mine and my hubbys 5th. The food, as always, was exceptional. The whole staff, front desk, assist servers were all amazing. Paul our server was on point and kept us happy. The kitchen staff was amazing and all so sweet for coming out to compliment my dress. I'm so sorry i didnt greet you all! I was so worried about getting a photo. A big thank you to the manager,Christina. For taking our photo and making our experience one of the best! We will be back! ❤️
I've eaten at many steakhouses across the country and this is my first time at a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. we were passing through and did not have a reservation, but was quickly greeted by staff and seated. Our server was Santiago, what a great young man. Very good at what he does. Accommodating, prompt, polite, made our anniversary wonderful, what else can you ask for. If there were more stars that could be given he would get double. Anyway, I ordered the fillet and shrimp and it was absolutely scrumptious. I consider myself a crème brûlée expert. And I'm not kidding you. This is it. If you just stop by to have the crème brûlée as a dessert, you would be blissfully delighted. kudos to the whole staff for a job. Well done! The decor was on point, wine wall and a wonderful mirror of the Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari. SEE PHOTOS
This steakhouse continues to live up to its reputation as a fine dining experience. The service can be a bit over the top, but that's the result of the extensive training the servers have to undergo. The prices are up significantly for everything, and consuming alcohol liberally will take the bill into the stratosphere. The steaks are prepared to order, look and taste great. This joint is for the top one percent.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ruth's Chris Steak House, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of perfection – my Cowboy Ribeye was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection, topped with a delightful blue cheese crust that elevated the flavor. The sweet potato casserole was a standout side, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Paired with a refreshing pomegranate martini, the meal was a culinary delight. Service was exceptional, with Alexander going above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. Attentive without being overbearing, he made sure our glasses were always full and our dining experience was seamless. The atmosphere was refined yet welcoming, making it perfect for a special occasion or a memorable night out. For those seeking a premium dining experience where quality is evident in every bite, Ruth's Chris Steak House is a must-visit. Be prepared to indulge – it’s worth every penny.
You really can't go wrong with Ruth's Chris. Nearly everything is dynamite. For starters we had the seared ahi tuna and calamari (separate dishes) the tuna is a must. I could eat 10 plates of the stuff. The calamari was impeccably cooked. Not too chewy or overly soft. With a sweet drizzle on it. Starting off with a home run. Main course 26oz cowboy steak with garlic mashed and lobster Mac and cheese. Mashed potatoes are a solid staple, easy to mess up, but expertly and simply done here. The lobster mac was delicious. I would have liked the lobster a bit warmer, but after you mix it up there is no issue. The star of the show was the steak. Excellent sear, nailed my desire medium rare, and served on a plate that I can only describe as nuclear bomb temperature. Maybe overkill, but keeps that meat sizzling. Loved it, will love it next time, and the time after that.
As first timers, I’m truly impressed with the ambiance, atmosphere, and service of the place and people. Alex was our server/waitress and she was patient and amazing. She checked on us just enough not too much. We never had to touch our water flight for refills, which was also amazing by the way. Food was delish. My eyes failed me as when I made the reservation for my husbands early birthday dinner that they close at 9 pm on a Sunday instead of 2 am. He loved it and I loved how they spread birthday confetti on the table and gave a sweet card to match! Great Job Ruth Chris. As a newly married couple this was the start to our many more fancy dinners for celebrations 😊✨
I took my friend here for his birthday and it was wonderful! The server and the assistants were superb. The presentation of the table was beautiful. It had a happy birthday card from the staff and bday confetti waiting. We had a glass of wine and a blueberry mojito and they were delicious. The NY strip was really flavorful but slightly more raw than I had hoped. The lobster mac is a must. For dessert they gave us a bowl of ice cream with a candle it was so nice! I will be back!
Alexander was a fantastic server! he treated us like royalty! the food, incredible! the steak was perfectly cooked and the lobster Mac and cheese was to die for.
My family loves coming to Ruth’s Chris Steak House, but especially this location on Indian School Road in Albuquerque, NM. The food is consistently so good and the service is excellent. John, one of the managers here was so welcoming and showered our table with Happy Birthday decorations once we told him it was my Dad’s bday. Kyle, our server was also amazing! He was friendly and very informative of the menu. He did a great job checking in on us in a timely manner. Highly recommend coming here~
9/10 "As Elegant As It Gets..." The night was wonderful, Serene 🍴Let's BREAK it Down!🍴 💢 Food 9/10 💢 This is top notch guys ** I ordered their sea bass, it was buttery soft... The fish melted off of the fork, perfectly cooked with a crunchy crust 😋 👌 Their 42 Oz steak is ENORMOUS, TENDER, AND JUICY AS ALL GET OUT Their dirty martini tastes amazing, quality vodka and delicious stuffed olives to boot 💢 Service 10/10 💢 attentive, prepared, precise Their ability to welcome their customers into the space really shows, and their attention to detail shines. Not a single glass was left empty. 💢 Decor 10/10 💢 Refined and Classy Bathrooms spotless, table neat, lights are inviting. Spot on for a classy night out. 👌 I can't wait to try more of their menu. GO TO RUTH CHRIS!!!! 🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸
Excellent meal! My husband and I share these days, this way we can enjoy an appetizer and dessert as well as an amazing steak without being overly full. We ordered a iceberg wedge, spicy shrimp(amazing), a bone in NY strip and bread pudding. The steak picture looks rough because they brought it cut for us and then I cut it up to cook a little more for me on the hot plate. It was awesome and every bit stood up to the name of a great steak house!
One word W.O.W! The outstanding service and food was worth every penny. The steak was presented elegantly and they give you a hot plate on the side to keep the steak warm. I had the surf and turf and the lobster was amazing, it was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. I finished my course off with fresh cheesecake and mocha which left me feeling like I wasn’t in Albuquerque! Matt and Ryan are amazing servers and extremely knowledgeable. Matt knows his steaks in-depth, he was able to answer any question and was on par with his knowledge. You can tell how passionate he is about his job! What a wonderful experience!
I would give 4.5 out of 5 stars. The half point deduction would be for overcooked lobster in the lobster Mac. Overall a good experience. They took my reservations the day before and called to confirm the day of. The restaurant was really clean and organized. They even set my table up with a birthday card and confetti. My steak was cooked well and the stuffed chicken was good. They even offered local craft beers.
Came here with my partner and the service and food was incredible. Alexander was so kind and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. We will definitely be coming in again. He also made sure our picture came out great by adding some rose petals to the table!
I normally don't like chain restaurants, but Ruth's was fabulous. Three of us ate here for $250 +tip (no alcohol). I got the 11oz Filet + basket of fries (not on the menu, but available if you ask). The filet was 100% perfect medium rare. No gray banding at all, but not raw in the middle either. I honestly think it was the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was impeccable. Great atmosphere, quieter than most restaurants despite being packed. 10/10 can't wait to go again. The only criticism I have is that they don't have a Pilsner beer available, even though this is by far the most popular style of beer in the U.S. and many local breweries make it. In my opinion, steak pairs well with Pilsners since they are mild and balanced. IPA tastes like pine tree. Does anyone really want to drink pine tree while they're eating an $80 steak?
100 put of 10 would recommend. This was my first visit to Ruth Chris and I have to say - whether it's the food or the service - this was hands down one of the best eating experiences. Yes, the restaurant is expensive. They own that, and it makes sense with the quality of food and service you get that the price for your meal is going to be higher than you would get anywhere else. But I was celebrating a personal triumph and brought a friend out with me. We had an amazing meal where the steaks were perfectly cooked, the sides were mouth wateringly delicious, the dessert was decadent and satisfying. Even the salad was exactly perfect. The manager and our server were very attentive. They were present the exact amount you would want from service (not too much or too little). I had to try the mac and cheese - and I am extremely picky about mac and cheese. I have only enjoyed eating a restaurant made mac and cheese (now) twice in my life. And I have ordered it at almost every restaurant it has been available at. Ruth Chris is the second restaurant that has had an enjoyable mac and cheese. It wasn't just enjoyable - it was PERFECT. if you go you should absolutely try the mac and cheese, and the sweet potato casserole. I hate sweet potatoes and I am telling you that if sweet potatoes always tasted like this, I would always eat them.
Sam was amazing. Best Western could of asked for. She made our first experience amazing and welcomed. As well as the rest of the staff. Food..... out of this world good. Thank you so much Sam and staff for the amazing experience and great food.
Logan and Jackie provided excellent service. They consistently checked in on us to ensure everything was prepared correctly and that we had everything we needed. Logan introduced himself in a very professional and welcoming manner, letting us know he was available for any assistance throughout our visit. We were very pleased with the overall service, and all of the food was delicious.
The GM Elias made the night a success. Got us in to eat at the bar. Our friends highly recommend the Lobster Mac and cheese plenty to share. Cheesecake will finish the night out right, so creamy and delicious and well paired with Pinot Grigio or Moscato if you lean towards the extra sweet combo. Bar tender waitress Jenetta was so attentive, kind and professional. Thank you so much!!!
I had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House tonight! The steaks were amazing—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor that just melted in my mouth. The mac & cheese was out of this world, creamy and cheesy with that perfect crispy top, and the mashed potatoes were equally amazing, so smooth and buttery. Everything about the meal was top-notch, from the service to the ambiance. The only thing missing was the Carajillo cocktail—please, please add it to the menu! It would be the perfect way to end such an incredible evening. Highly recommend this place!
Wonderful Experience! My wife and I decided to eat here for our anniversary dinner and were extremely happy with our choice. Our food was fresh and delicious. Our steaks melted like butter on the plate and the lobster tail and shrimp was excellent. I would especially like to acknowledge the bar manager, Logan. He was extremely attentive, professional, and courteous. We will definitely make plans to go back.
Absolutely delicious food, which is supplemented by the most gracious of service. Our server was ever present without hovering and quite knowledgeable about numerous subjects, especially wine. The manager regularly checks on patrons and isn't willing to jump in where needed and has an amazing voice for singing someone happy birthday. We were very impressed.
The food is phenomenal! I had the cowboy ribeye and the flavor was amazing. Cesar salad and asparagus was also great. The service was fair at best.
Happy Hour has great options on food and drinks. The Rocks Rita is good, but the Blueberry Mojito was my favorite this visit. The Spicy Shrimp is always delicious. I recommend the Steak Sandwich as well-it's so good. We always get excellent service.
We were celebrating my boyfriend’s 50th Birthday Celebration! The restaurant had a very classy atmosphere, our cocktails were delicious, his ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and the service was great! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience and making it so special for the Birthday Guy! 🥳
Typical US chain / restaurant. Having a sign at the entrance, „proper attire required“, but then seeing people in shorts, under armour shirts and basecaps, sitting at the bar, where TVs are showing sports. Very bright lights. Waiter seemed friendly, but it didn’t feel like an authentic interest. After serving my steak, he didn’t show up anymore. Even when i was finished, he was nowhere to be seen and I had to ask other staff, if he is still there. Steak itself was good, asparagus also. I asked for „normal“ mushrooms (simply sautéed) without all of the fancy (and heavy) „Demi glacé“ etc. The mushrooms I got were fine but in a butter sauce, which was so heavy, that I got stomach pain and heartburn. But this seems to be the taste in the US. In future, i would rather go to family owned steakhouses, than those chains. Just doesn’t have a lot of class, especially if your from Europe
I like coming to Ruth Chris for happy hour. The prices are right, and the dishes are the right size for me. And very good. The bartenders and waiters and waitresses are phenomenal. It's a little disappointing that they don't uphold their dress code for the bar area. I like to go to places where people aren't wearing baseball caps and shorts when I'm dressed up.
The food was excellent. The atmosphere was great. My personal experience with the timing of the food was bad. My soup arrived after I was 1/2 way through my entre. So I had to decide to let my main course go cold or the soup. However the cold soup was still tasty. I will definitely go back.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, stuffing, choice of sides, salad and small pumpkin cheesecake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Cheesecake and ice cream was the best part of the meal. The rest was ok but not like you could make at home. But it eas nice not having to cook and clean up. Service was attentive and polite. Price was good for what you received.
After spending 9 hours on the road, we decided to stop at Ruth's Chris for burgers, just an hour before they closed. We were kindly greeted and chose to sit at the bar since most of the booths needed cleaning. After ordering a drink, the bartender suggested a cucumber martini, while my husband opted for an old-fashioned. Both drinks were fantastic! After a while, we decided to move to a booth. The hostess quickly cleared a booth for us, and our waiter, Aaron, greeted us warmly and made an excellent presentation. He was professional and attentive throughout our meal. We ordered burgers, fries, and fried zucchini fries. While the food was beautifully presented, I found the burger to be too dry for my taste; however, the bun was soft and buttery, which we really enjoyed. I suggest the chef could enhance the burger by using the smash burger technique. We loved the ambiance, the teamwork displayed by the other waitstaff, and being welcomed by the manager. I would definitely give 5 stars for the customer service!
Seen reviews of this place and took my family here to eat.. it was ok. Maybe dress for the occasion. The cheese cake was delicious, and the salad was good. The staff here were nice. Will i eat here again? 🤔
I was a little surprised at the quality of the food. I have been to Ruth’s Chris in other states and this location for whatever reason just doesn’t touch them. I’m not sure if things went downhill after Covid… Because that seems to have happened everywhere. But you need to do something to compensate for that. I definitely could’ve made a better steak on my own at home and better potatoes and better creamed spinach. So that’s the whole point, I wanted a treat because things have been rough and I would’ve been better off just going to the grocery store and making it on my own. If you’re gonna spend $150 per person, just go to Vernons speakeasy
Disappointed in the bartender. Went to the bar and asked for a glass of red blend, he asked six or 9 oz pour, we said six. He Didn't show a price list, he didn't ask what our budget was and he poured the most expensive Pour at $27 for a 6 oz glass of red wine. That's ridiculous. I know it's im an expensive elitist restaurant. But seriously, $27 for a 6 oz glass of wine.
I came here for my bday dinner. The waitress forgot my salad, the mash potatoes were pretty bland, and I ordered a steak black and blue and it was a niice rare but not Pittsburgh style at all and my fiance ordered medium rare and it was rare. All which is all right sure since our waitress never checked up us but the straw that broke the camels back was the complentetry (due to the forgtten salad) Creme brulee came out ice cold. The top is literally supposed to be toasted before coming out which the manager, Ellis, insisted it was but it wasnt. They were also out of the NY strip and told me after a few minutes after offering the cowboy ribeye I assumed at the same price but no I paid for it menu priced which I wasnt expecting to pay a 14 dollar difference. Ellis at the end trying to enforce the idea that its a give and take between the customer and crew and communication but man if im spending over 150+ why do I need to wave down a manager or our waitress to correct our food. I put everything aside till the cold creme brulee. Also I showed him the medium rare steak and he said that was med rare im just curious on what rare is! Also he tried to tell us how hot they cook everything but I remember they used to come out on 2 plates we only got one. They gave us 50 dollar gift card but we're probably not coming back. We didnt ask for anything to be taken off we tipped the same we would normal. If this is a treat yeah its good and fun but if you've used to a higher expectation then I would consider somewhere else. The mushroom, bbq shrimp and drinks were in fact good though so I will give them that
If you want better service and food, I would recommend Vernon's over Ruth's Chris. We had to wait for our order to be taken and waited even longer for our food to be delivered. My husband's steak and shrimp were ice cold, just like the room we were in. The waitress was eager to bring a $20 drink; however, I repeatedly asked for water. They didn't serve us the baked potatoes that we ordered because they were not up to their standards, so we had to wait even longer for our side dishes. It turned into a two-and-a-half-hour dinner. It was miserably long. The only reason I stayed was to celebrate my cousin's birthday. Otherwise, I would have left sooner.
I ordered the lobster Mac and Cheese to go and the whole thing is inedible 🤢 I don't know if they steam they're lobster or what, but the the whole thing taste burnt, so they must have let it "Steam" without water.it is bad taste like when you burn popcorn . Very bad for a "supposedly upscale" restaurant. The chef had to have smelled it, and should of known to throw it out. Do better Chris Ruth's
Came here for our first time tonight, even with reservation we waited over 15 minutes by the door. After being seated we waited another 20 just to get drinks. We ordered an appetizer and that didn’t get to us until another 30 minutes. A server came to bring it to us and stated it was on them since they messed it up, it was good but cold (we had the veal ravioli). Then our salads came 15 min after that appetizer, and our food came right after that. We had 4 different servers as well. If our bill is coming out to $200+ I would expect the system for service to work better than we received. Our drinks shouldn’t take that long to get especially not the appetizer that should be getting to us at least 30 before our actual entree. For this price we could’ve ate 3 times at BJs for better steak and sides. The steak was okay, not out of this world. The mash potatoes were bland. I think they’ve hyped this place up too much. Unfortunately won’t be coming back for the prices not matching the service or food.
We went here for our Anniversary and even with a reservation we waited for about 25 minutes by the door. If you still have to wait what is the point of a reservation, should've just walked in and probably would've waited the same amount if time. Once we were seated my wife and I ordered some champagne for the occasion, we told the waiter we would like some time to enjoy the moment and get some pictures of the flowers and things I had delivered. Not more than 2 minutes later he came back interrupted us talking with one another and continued on even though we were talking so he could get us to order(rushing us). We ordered the veal ravioli for an app and first they sent it to the wrong table then 5 minutes later brought it to us apologizing for sending it to the wrong table and leaving it with us cold so couldn't enjoy that. Then when our meals came out my wifes steak was way over done she asked for medium rare and got medium well. If you serve food on these 500 degree plates then obviously the steak will still cook on its way to the table. They re did it and this time it was cooked right. My filet was cooked to my liking but the lobster tail was burnt along the sides and rubbery as could be, couldn't enjoy that. We then went to the bathroom(my wife is in a wheelchair so I have to help her) and when we got back they were putting our stuff in boxes and bagging it up! Wasn't ready to go yet but ok guess we're getting rushed out. This was supposed to be an amazing evening for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary and this whole experience ruined it, not what you would expect when your ticket is $500 before a tip.
We had a reservation and still waited 50 minutes to be seated. Completely unacceptable and a total waste of our time. The drinks were also a mess. My Diet Coke tasted like mostly water with just a tiny bit of soda, flat, diluted, and definitely not like Diet Coke. At least our waitress replaced it right away. The food was even worse. We were told it’s cooked at a super high temperature, yet it arrived cold, the top and bottom were freezing while only part of it was warm. The only “hot” part of my meal was the plate, not the food. The only reason this wasn’t a one-star experience across the board is Samantha (Sam), our waitress. She was genuinely amazing, kind, polite, patient, hardworking, and the only bright spot in an otherwise frustrating night. We will never come back, and I’ll be sharing this experience with everyone I know.
Overpriced garbage. $350 meal for 2 adults and 2 children. Steaks were extremely salty, neither of us finished our meals. Had to send the kids steak back to be redone because they coated it in pepper the first time. No sides offered with the steaks because they are an 'a la carte' restaurant, we ordered two sides, both of which were the quality of Texas Roadhouse, we didn't eat more than two bites. If this is normal fine dining in Albuquerque, it's shameful.
It was my boyfriend and l’s anniversary. He made a reservation for us and we were immediately sat, which was fantastic. 10 minutes went by and we hadn’t saw our server but another lady came by and said that our server would be right with us. I’m a server myself so I understand, and we weren’t bothered by that at all. Our server Ariana greets us gets a drink order from us, and our food order since we were sitting there a while we knew what we wanted to order right away. Our salads came out but we still didn’t have our drinks. Finally our drinks came out after. Another waiter came and dropped off our food, And mine was correct but my boyfriends wasn’t. Ariana comes by and we let her know that he ordered the shrimp and not the lobster and she said that she’ll fix it for us. 20 minutes ago by and she comes and drops off the check and says “ Sorry that shrimp never came out.” She never fixed the order. Terrible terrible service. We still left her a 20% tip, but if I could go back I wouldn’t have. Because for a $200 meal we should at least get what we ordered.
Going off my fiancé's review, Eliel. This has never been how we've ever been treated here. Crazy enough to say at 29 years old but this isn't how it used to be. We were checked up on all the time when we got sat up the stairs, this is the first time sitting near the bar where we didn't have good service. Does that mean we have to dress to the nines when we just got released from work at 6:20pm, no time to make our reservation to change from work? We're bankers, we dress professionally for our job, we were fine in that area so I thought. My steak was definitely rare, despite what the manager said because I am home sick knowing I only get sick from rare steak (we didnt have lunch at work to work up an appetite for dinner btw). The rest except the mushrooms got fed to the dogs. I want to love this place I want to come back but there are definitely better steak houses in town, I dont care if there are only a few Ruth's Chris steak houses in the country, I'd expect more from them than this. Seek other places. Im very disappointed. Manager said "sorry you already paid" when the waitress barely took the tab in front of his [Elias] face as he was talking to us. There was an opportunity to take it and make it better (as a former food service manager). I paid the full price and since I was paying, I paid accordingly for the tip. So very disappointed. Better steaks at Vernon's Speakeasy for better service, apps, & steaks. Sorry, but I have to be honest.
$55 three course menu (plus extra charges beware). Two out of three left dessert uneatable. $22 a glass of house red wine no legs on glass very underwhelming! Male manage top floor needs a lesson on how to speak to customers! Dirty carpet? Waiter mopping sweat off his brow then had fingers on the inside of our dishes urgh! Its extremely expensive for what it is. Trading on a name. 2nd worst eating experience in three weeks of travelling in New Mexico. Think before you book as you could do a lot better for a fraction of the price this establishment ask!!
Booked a reservation for my daughter’s 18th birthday with expectations of it being amazing as it usually is. Server Samantha tried her best she did but ultimately she sucked. She was stuck on being the best server for the table of 2 behind us, we had to ask for refills for our drinks and water even the bread. At one point we asked for a refill of coke and I witnessed her get the refill but go to the same small table that is behind us with our refill then brought it after chatting for over five mins again with them. Our food came out super late to the point we just wanted boxes. It felt like we were an inconvenience for her if I’m honest. The food has changed it’s not the same as it used to be, the garlic mashed potatoes that used to have potato clumps indicating that they were fresh have been changed to box potatoes. The quality of the steaks used to be superb but steak is now chewy, Texas Roadhouse quality but pricer. Will not recommend Ruth Chris to anyone anymore, unfortunate for us since we have used them for big celebrations.
Never in my 40 years of marriage have I experienced such terrible service. My dinner was immediately ruined when we came in for our reservation and had a 45 minute wait. The sweet girl who checked us in was visibly stressed, however, her coworkers with red hair and one with brown hair in a tank top treated her like garbage. We even witnessed them talk bad about her when she went to the restroom because she tried to go upstairs and didn’t want to use the one downstairs. The girl with red hair made a rude remark demanding she stay downstairs and not DARE use the bathroom upstairs because it was “locked”, then as she went to the bathroom she immediately brought other the girl with highlights in the tank top. In front of over 10 guests she opened talked bad about her and snickered…. I also witnessed them talk bad about guests who chose to wait in their car as it was over an HOUR wait for reservations!!! The girl with red hair even advised the sweet girl with bangs (one she was gossiping about) to LIE about the wait to customers, she said “say it’s 30 minutes” It was an hour…. For instance, we have not been sat yet when I witnessed their manager, an older male with a slicked back hairstyle, take a shot of alcohol…. Back to Mrs. Tank top, btw thought there was a dress code, anyways, as she called our names she gave attitude. She looked my husband and I up and down, sat us and rolled her eyes then gave us a wilted rose she was swinging around for 30 minutes. Before this, she was calling names with an attitude and dragging her feet as if it were a chore. This is your job, missy. We finally sit. Our server was a beautiful blonde with impeccable service. My steak was overcooked, but she fixed it immediately. Saved our dinner, but I can’t believe they have such disgraceful mean girls as the face of their restaurant. My husband and I have spent 40 Valentine’s days together and have never felt so disgusted with service. This place is just not what it used to be, I loved the food but I will not be returning because of the girl with red hair and the one with highlights. I will be making a few calls as well, I’m sorry, but anyone who chooses to be so nasty in front of others does not deserve to act like that and should deal with consequences.
So, we wait for an hour and twenty minutes for our steaks. Have no issue as they are busy. Get the steaks and they are cold. Then, Elias the manager says they "were resting" and we will reheat. Not paying these prices to reheat my steak which cooks it more than the table likes. Appreciate all the ice cubes in an old-fashion.
