This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Alhaurin El Grande and the surrounding area. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. Cocktails wow! Wine great and a lovely selection of beers. The staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere outstanding to eat. .

One of the best restaurants in Alhaurin el Grande and surrounding area. Tim, Gary and their team make a visit a fantastic experience. They are all so friendly and welcoming. We have visited on several occasions now and have never been disappointed.The menu is small but always interesting and delicious. The menu changes regularly (I think approximately every month or so?). They have an extensive list of delicious cocktails - I can highly recommend the Long Island Ice Tea! One visit is never enough, it is a place we will always go back to.

Wir haben dieses Lokal zufällig gefunden, nachdem wir nach einer langen Anreise in Alaurin ziemlich hungrig angekommen sind. Ich wage zu behaupten, dass wir eines der besten Restaurants gefunden haben. Schon ein Blick auf die Speisekarte mit den innovativen Kreationen tönte vielversprechend. Und so war es denn auch, von A-Z. Viel Raffinesse und auserlesene Zutaten machten das Essen zu einem Hochgenuss. Auch der Service war immer zur Stelle und wir wurden professionell bedient. So geht Gastronomie, Bravo!

We were over in Malaga visiting our friend Hollie so we decided to go out for a special meal and WOW this was special , Love this place! We was greeted by a lovely gentleman .The food is just superb ...totally on another level. Lovely friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble, amazing cocktails , we were made to feel special.

A quiet, elegant atmosphere on a cold, rainy Sunday evening. The Asian Cauliflower starter was a hit and the French Chicken Ballottine and Ibérico Pork Bourguignon were stellar. A warm, relaxed mark.

When i visit Alhurin I dine at Vikingos as often as I can because I have never yet had anything other than first class service and delicious food here .I tried the scallop starter (amazing) followed by fillet steak .(perfect) All while sitting in the beautiful fairy lit square My thanks to Gary and Tim for another great night and also to the beautiful Angelina for her attentive service .

We had the beef skewers with kimchi as a starter they were AMAZING!! The house wine is lovely. We have had each type over the course of several visits and never been disappointed. The owners and staff are wonderful!!

First of all, apologies to Salon Vikingos for the long time it's taken for me to post a review especially having visited so many times over the past few years. It's always a pleasure dining here starting with the lovely welcome from Tim and Gary who have created a 5 star restaurant in Alhaurin el Grande and are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The food is always superb - both delicious and well presented. Favourites are the tempura prawns starter, and melt in the mouth fillet steak main course. However, the menu evolves every month so there's always something new and delicious to try! Hats off to the chef as we never leave disappointed. The staff are always friendly and efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. Looking forward to my next visit, and I wish you all the best for the future. Highly recommend!

We were there on Tuesday for my father's birthday and had the best evening imaginable. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was fantastic. My father was a restaurateur himself for decades and was absolutely delighted. Which, it has to be said, is really rare ;-) Thank you so much for making the evening so special! A nice, small restaurant. When you enter, you will at first think it is only a bar, but upstairs is the restaurant. About 24-28 guests can take a seat, if i counted correctly. A nice warm and cosy atmosphere. The men who were working, were very nice, polite and flexible. The young lady can smile a bit more and be a bit more enthusiastic. The starter, shrimps crudité, delicious. Also because of the sauce. The spring rolls unfortunately did not have much flavour. Main course, the steak, was very good! Good portion. Asked medium, got medium. Cocktails were also tasty and to our satisfaction. The glass of red wine... turned out into almost a barrel hahaha. Was a wellll filled glass. Thanks for that. Only thing in our opinion that could be better is the number of dishes on the menu. There isnt much choice. If the menu will be expanded we will come back. Suggestion: reservation is needed!

After reading the excellent reviews, we had high hopes for Salon Vikingos, and we weren't disappointed! The restaurant sits at the corner of the town square, with seating predominantly outside. The table settings were immaculate, and the presence of a butter knife gave a small indicator of their attention to detail. We've eaten at several of the #1 rated restaurants along the Costa del Sol, and had found them to be distinctly lacking in many respects. That definitely isn't the case with Salon Vikingos, however. After a warm yet respectful welcome, we were served drinks and offered a warm bread roll. Our starters (vegetable parcel in a Thai green curry sauce for me, and Peruvian style beef skewers for my partner) were beyond exceptional! I can't remember the last time I laughed with joy at the quality of a course, but this had me beaming from ear to ear. For main courses, we chose fillet steak in a homemade butter and bone marrow sauce, and jerk chicken ballotine. Again, these dishes exceeded our highest expectations. The quality and presentation were sheer perfection! For dessert, we ordered a white chocolate cheesecake with a blueberry sauce, which was heaven on a plate. I cannot sufficiently express our absolute delight with the entirety of the experience. The owners and staff were a joy to engage with, and their relentless focus on providing the highest standards of customer service was clear to see. Without wanting to be overly effusive, it'd be no exaggeration to say this is the finest dining experience we've had in many years in any country. We cannot wait to come back again!

I couldn't rate them highly enough. Tim and Garry have a fantastic business ethos and provide the upmost service. I am so impressed and would recommended coming here to everyone; the food was fantastic, the service was second to none and the attention to detail was superb. Having a little chat with both of them afterwards sealed the deal, they are a gem in Alhaurin el Grande, if not the entirety of Spain. So happy with our visit. Update: Been back again. We decided to try this restaurant on a whim (kind of) and were lucky to get seats. All outside was completely booked up, but they could seat us inside. The restaurant is done beautifully, lots of attention to detail with the decor which elevates the dining experience. We ordered drinks, then ordered our mains. Fresh bread and olive oil was offered to us and it was fantastic! I'm a vegetarian who is allergic to fish and they were more than willing to remove the prawns from my choice of main. We shared a starter of broccoli pakora which were AMAZING!! I went with a pasta for my main and my husband had the Galican beef. I genuinely could have eaten just the potato from my husbands meal and would have been happy with that. Both meals fantastic! We decided to go for desert and boy we were not disappointed! I had the dark chocolate fondant which came with vanilla ice cream... delicious! My husband had the almond cake which he thoroughly enjoyed. All in all we had a fantastic meal here and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. The food is amazing, the surroundings are beautiful and the staff were attentive and lovely. First time visiting this restaurant and we absolutely loved it! Cannot believe I’ve not been before. I had the tuna and I could eat this dish every day. So accommodating with my mum who is a picky eater. Service was exceptional. Can’t wait to come back. Can’t rate it highly enough.

Went with some friends. Elegant restaurant upstairs . The owners are friendly and service top class. We had various dishes and deserts. Delicious. My only comment would to have some more vegetarian and vegan options.

This is a lovely 5* restaurant. There were 3 of us (adults) it was busy in the high street, but we ventured into this establishment looking for dinner. We were welcomed in immediately. Lovely owner who invited us to have a drink in the bar area before being shown to our table. The food is absolutely delicious, fine dining and prepared by an amazing chef! The presentation was superb! Service was friendly and very attentive. This is all run by an excellent team, in a lovely setting. Very, very highly recommended.

Hands down the best food we've had in Spain, the staff are so friendly and were made to feel welcome from the time we booked our table to the time we left. We'll definitely be returning just for the atmosphere. The children were accompanied with a good choice of food as well as us adults. We have followed Tim and Gary from their previous restaurant to their new larger restaurant at Mucho Mas. They are the most hospitable hosts and nothing is too much trouble, we just love them. Chef Gareth should have a Michelin Star because the food is to die for and the menu changes regularly: everything we have eaten is absolutely superb. We take all our family and friends when they come to stay with us and they love it. You can't get a better restaurant than this, even in Marbella.

Bij toeval kwamen we hier terecht. En we hadden geluk want er was nog precies 1 tafel vrij. Beneden is het meer een bar en boven restaurant. Niet groot maar wel met een vriendelijke informele bediening. Beperkte kaart maar keuze uit vlees vis of vega. Hier komen we graag weer terug 🤩

What an absolute delight! Mucho Más is one of those rare places that immediately feels like home. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere cozy and vibrant, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible staff and the lovely owners, Tim and Gary. We have beej coming ti Alhaurin for majy years but never to Mucho Mas - however we will most definitely be returning. The setting is great, a mix of classy and contemporary, the service is attentive without being in your face and the food second to none. Thank you for a great experience 👍

Wat een leuk restaurant. Is niet echt Spaans maar je kunt er echt gezellig en lekker eten. Genoeg keus voor iedereen en de bediening is echt perfect. Zelf hadden we het buikspek en de pasta met pili pili. Goede porties zodat we niet ons overlaten en als toetje de pistache tiramisu wat een geweldig toetje. Al net al een heerlijke avondje gegeten tegen een goede prijs al lag die iets hoger dan normaal.

Fantastic and delicious food, great service, nice and friendly staff, awesome location. Modern table booking service via Facebook messenger :) We had an awesome dinner and we loved everything about it. The place exceeded my expectations and I am happy to recommend it to others to enjoy it.

Excellent family meal at Vikingos last night. Attentive service and superb ambience. The food was outstanding of a fine dining standard. The best steak I’ve had! Tim was also amazing with our son who commented that it was the best restaurant ever!

We had a lovely time at Mucho Mas this Christmas Day. The ambience was truly special with Christmas Jazz in background. The scallops starter, the turkey and the beef main followed by crumble was top drawer. The service was up there with the very best restaurants in the world. We have been lots of times and the food is so flavoursome and perfectly plated. Gary, Tim and team always take time to make us feel so very welcome. It’s a remarkable experience. We love the place.

What an amazing restaurant. This is one of our favourite places to eat in Spain never mind in Alhaurin el Grande. The food and drinks are excellent and the owners go the extra mile to make you feel special. We will be back again the next time we are in Spain. Had a great expierence at Mucho mas! Very friendly people, beautiful restaurant and the food was amazing! I had the prawns as a starter and the korean prok belly as main dish. Probably the best pork belly I ever had! 10/0

10/10 - honestly couldn’t fault it. We went as a group of 22 and the service was still incredible. The staff went above and beyond with little touches (like asking if I wanted my mojito spicy). The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Fantastisch! 6 sterren wat ons betreft. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en we hebben heerlijk gegeten. Lekkere coctails! Schitterende ambiance binnen. Een dubbele boeking werd ook ontzettend goed opgevangen waar wij nog een voordeel aan hadden. We hebben direct gereserveerd voor onze laatste avond in Andalusie.

Het enige restaurant ooit waarbij ik mijn bord compleet leeg had. Wat heb ik hier lekker gegeten. Ik had de kip tandoori, maar dan denk je ik krijg een bord met saus en stukjes kip erin, dat was niet zo. Het personeel was netjes, en had alles in de gaten. Als toetje had ik creme brulee.

Finally !! a restaurant around Coin and Alhaurin that is modern, warm, cosy and luxurious! Tim, Gary and Chef Gareth have created a menu that is a delight to read never mind eat. Outstanding service with every detail in the restaurant beyond what you would imagine. We are only sorry it took so long to come and visit. Pictured is the house red, pate starter and the fillet steak which was just beautifully cooked and sensibly priced. See you soon guys.

Outstanding in every way. It was our first visit to this elegant restaurant and we were welcomed like close friends. The food was amazing, served on hot plates and a beautifully laid out table. I had hake, my husband had lamb shank as mains, both were absolutely delicious. We had 3 courses at €55 per head. Amazing value for the ambiance, decor, food and service.

We have holidayed in the area during the past nine years and we’ve stumbled on a few great restaurants plus friends have offered more than a few excellent recommendations. Non more so than this amazing restaurant! To whole evening was memorable. The food, service, and ambience surpasses any restaurant we’ve been to, not only in this area, but on our trips throughout Spain. The owners were friendly and approachable and made us welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, which is always a good sign. The staff are first rate, friendly, attentive (without being over the top) and they make you feel at ease. There is no sense of stuffiness here, the atmosphere is relaxed, which makes for an enjoyable evening. The food was outstanding. The boss and I both hadTempura Prawns to start, the awns sat in a mouth watering sauce that was so tasteful! We both had the same choice for the main course was Hake, Prawns and yet another amazing sauce. Perfection! Dessert I had the Bombe with passion fruit, I cannot remember a dessert that tasted so good! To round it off, the espresso was A1. She who is never wrong had an Irish coffee and she raved about it! We’ve both worked in the F&B industry and we realise how much hard work it takes to provide the all around product that this restaurant offers. It really did blow us away! It has only been open a year and seems to be going from strength to strength and deservedly so! My wife and I wish the owners every success, they more than deserve it! We travel back to the area in April and Mucho Mas will be our first port of call, it was the culinary highlight of our fortnight in Spain!

Un lugar excelente, la comida es exquisita y la carta va variando a lo largo del año con las nuevas recetas del chef. El ambiente es súper agradable y el personal estupendo, siempre atentos a los clientes. La decoración del restaurante no se queda atrás, está decorado con mucho gusto y elegancia. Todo esto hace que la experiencia sea completa y deje un buen sabor de boca, tanto literal como metafórico. Es un lugar al que siempre piensas en volver.

Calidad alta pero resultado desigual, algunos platos muy ricos, recomiendo sobretodo la ensalada libanesa, otros un poco deficientes, especialmente considerando el precio. Decoración un pelin empalagosa y anticuada pero es cuestion de gustos.

La comida es de alta calidad al igual que el vino. Comida de chef. Los precios son elevados. El ambiente guiri total, pero tienen la deferencia de tener personal que te atiende en español. Es una experiencia recomendable.

No merece la pena el precio por la cantidad y calidad de la comida, por este dinero puedes comer carne al corte o marisco y no pasta

Tienes un menú fijo de 55€. Platos con más nombre que cantidad. En la entrada te encuentras una carta totalmente diferente a la que realmente ofrecen. Te dan de cortesía "proseco" o "cerveza" pero para los que no bebemos estás bebidas, no hay opción. La verdad que para pagar ese precio, comer pan y pasta al menos deberías no salir con hambre....
