No hay nada ni nadie que pueda igualar esta familia/discoteca/pub/ambiente/fiesta y no se que mas decir. Luces increíbles, musica perfecta, djs alegres, trabajadores contentos y lo mejorcito de Alicante. Un 10.

It’s a nice place and the Dj was cool! The staff was not the best, or they’re running out of staff, don’t know. Because they looked to be very busy, even when the bar was with few tables! It’s not a place to go with family as they don’t accept children, but for singles and young couples, is super good time to enjoy the Alicantina night!

This is a good sized and well presented bar not far from the see. We popped in as it looked really nice on passing by several times. It has a large indoor and outdoor seating areas, where they were playing excellent music throughout, mainly very good and uncommon remixes of old and new music, by a DJ who was from a radio station that day apparently. They were the only bar we visited that sold cider, a personal favourite whilst also having a great variety of drinks available, with very reasonable pricing for all. The staff were particularly pleasant here too, giving us lots of free snacks and providing good table service. We only popped in for 1 and ended up staying for 4, as it was so lovely. They also had Shisha bongs for those interested for rent in the outside area. It was a very mixed clientele, which seemed to be locals and tourists of all ages. Would recommend this place to all.

One of the oldest pubs in San Juan beach, and still one of the best. The place is always busy, even during winter weekends. Great crowd, mostly from older ages. They have a very nice terrace outside for smokers, or for the ones like me who can't stand the music they play. It's the only thing I don't stand from the place, but that is just a matter of taste

Estuve con un grupo de 9 amigos de Madrid el fin de semana y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Los camareros muy correctos y profesionales, el que atendía la barra de la terraza el más simpático de todos. El único problema los gigantes de seguridad, no son nada amigables, son más bien matones. Nos acabaron invitando a irnos nadie sab muy bien por qué.

Por todas las indicaciones y recomendaciones que nos dieron gente local para tomar unas copas, nos desplazamos en un autobús durante más de una hora un grupo de amigos desde Alicante hasta San Juan para comprobar esas altas expectativas. El sitio es pequeño y llega a ser agobiante. Para ser un sitio del que todo el mundo hablaba, nos dejó bastante decepcionados, esperábamos algo mucho mejor. No deja de ser un pub de los miles que hay para tomar algo y sin nada especial. El precio de las copas correcto.

Nice place, only to mention the Juca staff is not very friendly. They have a guy that walk among the clients pushing instead of asking permission and 0 excuse. So be carful with the guy. All the rest nice.

No se porque acabo en éste local gastandome el dinero. No soy cliente habitual, pero las veces que he acabado ahí no he sido bien tratado. Igual ya no encajo en éste tipo de locales por la edad o la forma de vestir, pero no me he encontrado Agusto, sobre todo por el de la terraza de fuera que fué desagradable conmigo. En cambio el chaval que iba sirviendo con la bandeja poema terraza ha sido muy amable. El Dj un crack. Y el ambiente muy Bueno👍. Igual soy un viejo de 43 años que ya no encaja, pero cuando el cliente os da una sugerencia, no lo puedes despreciar como si fueses un ser superior. Lo digo por el chico de barba de la terraza. En fin, un buen lugar en el que me siento desplazado.

The worst place ever! I had the pleasure to spend and enjoy my time in a huge amount of exclusive clubs, and this is on the top as the worst ever!

We are in the connecting bar/restaurant Hakuna Matata. First of all none of the staff spoke any English and we’re not very helpful trying to translate the menu, we had to use google translate. I aske…

Deberían de hacer una selección más exhaustiva sobre los camareros , en mi caso han sido groseros y maleducados, me han insultado y me han tratado mal . No dejan entrar a las personas con ropa deportiva para dar más caché al local , cuando ellos mismos no lo proyectan manteniendo esa clase de empleado. Incluso después de notificarlo a la encargada.

Pésimo trato del personal de seguridad! Fuimos hoy con un Familiar que vino de visita del extranjero y fue su primera vez en el sitio. El seguridad de la puerta prohibió su entrada porque su pantalón según el era “parecido a un chándal”. Luego de eso entramos a consumir a Hakuna Matata donde no existió ninguna prohibición, consumimos durante toda la tarde. Antes de irnos pasaron a Texaco por el pasillo que conecta los dos locales para solo conocer el sitio, un camarero les llamó la atención y los envió hacia la puerta donde el seguridad le gritó y lo empujó diciéndole groseramente que salga. Mientras estábamos Explicándole a mi familiar lo sucedido porque el no entiende Español, se acercó nuevamente a gritarle en la cara y empujándolo mientras estaba con su novia y hermana empujándolas también, sin entender lo que hablábamos en inglés. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Me parece muy ilógico que el personal ni siquiera entienda expresiones inglesas, no sepa explicar la situación en otro idioma algo básico de la zona que es turística y de paso se haya comportado de tal manera, cuando solo quiso conocer el sitio porque le llamó la atención desde antes de su visita a San Juan. Así que de nuestra parte no volveremos a recomendar este sitio donde se ven muchas cosas peores que llevar un pantalón “parecido a un chándal”.

Últimamente este lugar me ha decepcionado en varios aspectos. Hemos visto problemas de higiene (incluyendo cucarachas), falta de control en el aforo y un trato poco adecuado por parte del personal de seguridad. Hace unas semanas presenciamos una situación especialmente agresiva hacia una chica, lo cual nos dejó muy mala impresión. Si no realizan mejoras, es probable que muchos clientes dejemos de acudir.

Was having a good time here until a security guard noticed my resuable water bottle which I was allowed to bring in at the beginning of the evening. The bottle has previously been filled with water from the bar. I was escorted to the front, which I obliged. I demonstrated that my water bottle was in fact filled with water (from their establishment) and showed the contents of my bag when asked. I was asked with gestures to leave my water bottle at the front which I did. When I came back later to have a sip, I was denied re-entry despite my intention to again leave the water bottle outside. Given the unreasonable circumstances surrounding my exile, I can only assume this was due to me being a foreigner as I was not aggressive or uncooperative in any way. Don't waste your time here.

'Security guards' assaulted my friend. They grabbed my friend and physically dragged him out of the establishment with no warning and for no valid reason. When asked why my friend was being removed from the establishment, both of the security guards used homophobic terms such as 'maricon' and showed aggressiveness to innocent bystanders by attacking them. Because of the assaults, I will never return and we will be contacting the police to press charges. Unfortunately, the 'security guards' that work at this establishment are bigots. I think this might be a case of people who are power-hungry. Approach with caution!

Worst staff ever! Not professional at all. Bouncers are extremely violent and rude. The alcohol is bad and expensive. No space to dance. Bad smell. It is not fancy at all but you cannot enter with flip flops, swimming suit, leggins, and if the bouncer does not like you, you do not enter neather if you wear a smoking . Close there is full disco, chiringuitos and clubs. all of them are much better

Sí es posible poner 0 pondré 0, el servicio es peor en toda la España, nadie te servirá, los precios stupidos, no comprendo porque todo la gente quiere entrar en esto sitio. estoy seguro que esto gente no sabe qué servicio será buenísimo, venga a Latvia/Letonia y encontré que es servicio real 👍 This is the worst service in the whole Alicante and if I say so I mean literally it's the worst place to go to chill and vibe with your mates! First of all stuff is absolutely nonsence , they do not now the general rules of how to serve clients, their stuff is mainly kids who lack of experience and not interested in getting better!! They simply ignore you when you try to order something, even if you talk in Spanish without the accent ) this is so funny as being in serious places in London this place is so horrible and far far away from even 3 star serving bar place. They only survive because the general people who come to visit Alicante is much more than an amount of night bars and restaurants in Alicante to serve their needs. I strongly advise awoid this place and better find the smaller bar like Pele or Pelican or Code.
