This was the very first In-N-Out location in DFW. The friendly service and good burgers have been consistent over the years. This place never gets old.

Unbelievably quick and friendly service. Got 3 burgers, 1 fry, and 1 animal style fry in 6 minutes 30 seconds and the entire place was completely full. They’re killing it at this location.

Great stop for our road trip, fast service Bruce at checkout was extremely helpful. As first time in and out patrons he helped explain the menu and ensured our order was exactly what we wanted! All the rest of the staff was all smiles and equally helpful. Obviously this location is well managed, definitely worth the stop!

The Flying Dutchman Burger was pretty tasty!!!!! I wish the "onion buns" were a little thicker, but it was good. I've tried it protein style as well. It was still just as messy but still good. LOL!! They have phenomenal customer service at this location, too.

Came in today for lunch. Was greeted by cashier (Bruce). Very professional and extremely friendly. Thank you Bruce for doing an amazing job with customers. Waited about 5 minutes for the food which is not bad since they make it to order. Burger and fries were good. Restaurant and bathroom clean which is a huge plus.

Incredible experience! First of all THE TEAM !!!The burger at In-N-Out never disappoints. The soft bun, perfectly juicy and fresh beef, and the balance of flavors with the veggies and special sauce is just perfect. I ordered a Double-Double, every bite was delicious. The service was also fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. Without a doubt, this is the place I’ll always return to when I’m craving a quality burger. Highly recommended!

I enjoy in-N-Out Burger every time I visit my kids. The burgers are fresh & juicy. The fries are really yummy too. I had a vanilla shake today instead of a soda. Of course it was good. I love the fact that they come to your car to take your order and I love the crisp white uniform with red accents. We ate outside at a table and through space was very clean.

This was the introductory restaurant for my favorite fast-food burger, and so it holds a special place in my heart! All of us in the car were trying In-N-Out for the first time and ended up loving it. Thankfully, due to the guy's advice taking our order, I got my double-double and fries animal style. While the fries are mediocre, as I've often heard, smothering it with spread helped enormously and made them enjoyable. Great burger, and highly affordable for what you get! I'm looking forward to getting the chance to eat at another In-N-Out.

A classic fast food burger joint serving quality cheeseburgers, fries and shakes. What I love the most is their consistent quality of food and fast service. When dining in, the staff is attentive to keeping the tables clean, however it is overly crowded even during off hours.

We enjoy eating at In N out its our best choice for burgers. My only note at Stacy road branch is the smell of the garbage opposite to the cash point once you pass by. It's very unpleasant especially you are getting in eat something delicious. Do please i know the place is busy but the smell is very noticeable.

I'm not sure why the In N Out locations in Texas salt their fries do aggressively compared to the locations in California. The food is always good and what you expect with fresh ingredients. If you didn't like heavily salted fries, then order with no salt and they'll give you a could salt packets do you can add to your liking

Fast and friendly service with a smile. I really enjoyed my meal here. The food came out fast and ready to go. The lobby was clean as well. Parking was decent outing and the drive thru seemed to be able to handle large lines.

I came in right after a football game ended and the store was PACKED with high-schoolers. The staff remained helpful and pleasant through it all. Very impressive!

It's always good, at least while it's still hot. The long wait in the drive thru and the impossibly packed dining area need to be reevaluated for future construction to adjust to larger capacities. Anytime we are near an In-N-Out, we stop by. Bring one to the Sherman/Denison area! It is needed badly.

I don't normally eat at fast food places and In N Out is pretty much the only one I will eat at because I know the food is fresh. No pre-made Frozen patties. My understanding is the meat is delivered fresh everyday and they make their own patties. As a person who eats carnivore most of the time this is a special treat because lettuce and onions are usually not part of carnivore. I always get the protein style Double-Double with added onions. I was coming home from a concert and didn't want to come home and cook so I stopped and got two double doubles absolutely delicious!!

This place was super busy but it was for a good reason, the food was really good. I have been to a few in n out burger places but this one was by far the best I've been too. It was so busy that we had to get our food and eat outside on the tailgate of our truck. The kids enjoyed the whole process and I highly recommend stopping in.

I give this store 5 stars because of Bruce. I ordered dine-in for myself and then to-go for the fam. All the while waiting, I observed how Bruce treated the customers. He proactively greeted every incoming customer. He was very polite and friendly. He knew his menu very well, and he was able to describe the signature sauce to folks who were not familiar with it. He was able to offer meaningful alternatives when customers declined certain ingredients. He wiped the front counter stainless steel where people placed their hands and purses and whatnot when he's not serving customers. He should be the defacto standard of the In-N-Out training program. Get a double double with fries well done. Also note, this is greasy fast food. You may regret it later, but this is a better option than others. Note the fries taste like those canned potato stick crisps.

This is an inexpensive quick drive through or sit down burger place. The burgers are very thin and patties are pre-shaped and frozen. Fries are pretty dry, and taste pre-cut & frozen. HOWEVER, this is what you expect to get for $13.50 for two full meals in any quick drive through restaurant. The food is decent, and the service is quick. They modified our order as requested. I took off one star though because the fries are only good when they're hot so you have to eat quickly to enjoy them. I also don't like thousand island on my burger, and didn't read that the burgers came with this sauce even if I requested ketchup.

It will always be delicious but not aaaaas good as they say. The fries are excellent tho, that I could agree. The "special" sauce is good but nothing out of the ordinary, just ketchup and mayonnaise. The dining room was very clean and there was a great deal of waitstaff help both in the dining room and at the order counter. The ordering line probably took 3-5 mins at most and was very efficient, the fastest restaurant to get through a line of about 10 people ahead of me. All the staff were nice and look like the generally like working for In-N-Out, which is rare to see in a fast food setting. The dining room at the Stacy Rd location in Allen, TX is almost always packed with little room to sit. This was my firt time to attempt to eat inside and first time actually ordering food at this location. This location often has too lengthy of a drive through line and packed dining room that I end up dining elsewhere in the area. I believe the dining room size could be expanded and would still be busy, but this is not a fault of the staff working there. Burger was great and just as I had ordered. I really enjoyed the flavor of the burger and the crispness of the beef patty. All elements of the burger are quite enjoyable. I also ordered an order of fries. The fries are the only reason I cannot give a five star review. They are some of the worst fries I have had in recent memory at a fast food restaurant, not that I eat fast food very often. They were literally the texture of shoestring fries but were quite thick. I did not request any additional cook time when ordering. As the restaurant was so packed full of customers and a lengthy drive through I did not feel it was in my interest to return my fries for another order. I will never order fries at In-N-Out again. Sorry In-N-Out your fry game is not as on point as your service, cleanliness and your burgers.

I believe that In & Out makes a great burger. There is no fast food burger that has fresher veggies and that consistently makes the burger the same and so delicious. There is absolutely no fault with the food. Fantastic!!!! With that being said, I don't often go to the Allen location and was surprised at how slow they are. It took at least 30 minutes to get through the drive thru. At about 6:35 p.m. on Friday night the line was very long. People were fighting in the lane. Most people went to the back of the line to turn right into the drive thru but there were others who decided they would turn left into the line and not wait their turn. It was a mess. Finally close to 7p.m. In & Out sent out some employees to take orders in the line and this helped a lot.

A trip to Texas requires a trip to In N Out. I think it's over-hyped but my husband loves it which is why we stopped by for lunch. The menu is limited, it's not my favorite but a lot of people sure love it. The line was super long but it moved fast. All the employees were helpful and friendly.

So, considering how many people were in the restaurant and in the drive-through, they were really killin' it. Gave a 4 for the food because the strawberry milkshake was not good at all. I specifically came to get a milkshake made with real ice cream. This was not real strawberry ice cream. Super strong fake strawberry flavoring in vanilla ice cream was what it tasted like. So yucky I couldn't even finish it. Maybe the vanilla ice cream was real, but that strawberry flavoring was fake chemical garbage. Yuck. Over all, I'll probably come back at some point, but I'll avoid the nasty strawberry milkshake.

I think the food was ok. It was very simple. Only 3 different meals to choose from. I never been to an In-and-out before so i Googled it and was shocked that it was ranked the number 2 burger! I had no idea or i would have been here a long time ago. So i had high hopes for this meal.....but i was kinda dissatisfied in the burger. It didn't look like the picture, the meat was very thin! It tasted alright but its kinda small already so it needs a thicker patty. The fries were hot and fresh but kinda tasted stale for some reason, right out of the fryer. They kinda tasted like the frenches potato stickes in a can. The sweet tea was really good tho.

This isn’t the best In-and-Out but it was okay. I ordered the Double Double meal with a Vanilla Shake. The burger was not as flavorful as I’ve had at other locations and the fries didn’t seem the freshest. The vanilla shake was yummy however. The next time, I will plan to drive a bit further and eat at one of the better locations.

08/09/2025: not busy at all. Our order was completely wrong. I’m reordering everything now because the fries are now cold. I’ve watched customer after customer come to the counter with the wrong order. I e seen them toss a few orders in the trash in the kitchen because they were wrong. This is NOT typical for this location. I don’t know what’s up, but I would avoid today. Very busy tonight, so I understand mistakes. The staff has been amazing! Especially Carl F! My first to go order was wrong and cold. I came in a bit later to start over and order again. I was very well taken care of by a sympathetic staff! Good on y’all!

Have never been a fan of this place, gave it another shot this past weekend, twice, as family wanted to go. Meh. Went two days ago, went through the drive thru, food came out fast. Went yesterday, as the family wanted to try again, and we went inside this time. Walked right up, placed my order with no wait, and we waited quite a long time as drive thru orders had preference. Many people rave about the quality of these burgers, but pictured below are the same burger. They look and taste different. I was highly disappointed when I got my burger yesterday and it sucked worse than the one from two days ago. Both are double double animal style all veggies.... Huge difference between the two including taste. Burgers are average, inconsistent, and there are far better options out there. For the hype, I expect better. I also tried the animal style fries. I get it, just not for me, they lacked flavor-- Wife loved them. PS: looking at the photos, I'm thinking they shorted us a patty on our double doubles the next day....

I have never heard anybody I know give any bad reviews of In-N-Out Burger so we decided to try it today. I am so disappointed the quality of the burger. It is thin, there's not any flavor, the bread is super thick and the fries are soggy. I won't be back and I don't understand the frenzy over these mediocre burgers other than maybe nobody knows what a good grilled burger looks like or tastes like. I would keep going on 75 and go to Nest Burger in Plano or keep going north to Sherman and locate Mg's Burgers off of Texas and Woods St.. a far more superior burger experience than In-N-Out burger.

My wife and I love coming here whenever we have a bit of extra cash, it’s such a good value for the price! We were pretty excited when we came through this location tonight (8/24) at around 7:40pm to get our usual order until we got to the young man working the drive through line taking orders outside (the line was starting to wrap around the parking lot). I’m not sure what his day was like before, but it was clear he probably needed a long cigarette break with how he was speaking to us. Rude, short, snappy. He kept cutting off my wife while she was trying to order, which isn’t a huge deal in itself, but he then got mad and pretty rudely corrected her when she asked for a double double with no cheese. “Next time, for future reference, you HAVE to ask for a double double meat, got it?” It just felt pretty unnecessary given it means the same thing… the vibe was definitely off with him. First time we have ever had an issue here, hopefully the last time.

I hadn’t eaten at an In-N-Out Burger in a long time. I went last week to the location on Stacy in Allen, TX. The burger had no flavor, the bun was totally burnt on one end and the fries—they certainly don’t taste like they’re made from real potatoes. They were crispy and very dry. If I had a blindfold on, I would not have guessed that I was eating a french fry. I was very disappointed in the food. What a joke! The hamburger patty is smaller than the sliced of tomato. Both were much smaller than the bun, which was burnt. So it was a tomato sandwich really. Fries were cold and tasted aged. Will never be back. People are nice but that won't keep a customer when the product is crap. (The picture looks bigger than it was, I couldn't get all sides. About same size as McDonald's! Ick)

Waited I drive through for 35 minutes just to receive my milkshake like water and soda with no fizz. Also my burger is extremely burnt with black things in my burger. This place is a disco and a disgrace. Threw all My food away. Waste of $20 and time.

I seriously thought they forgot the meat—because the onion was thicker than the patty! It’s ridiculous. I know inflation is real, but this is just stingy. In-N-Out used to be about quality, but now? They’re cutting corners and serving overpriced, underwhelming burgers. It’s like they don’t even care anymore. If I wanted a bun with a hint of meat, I’d just make a sandwich at home. Definitely not the In-N-Out we all used to love.

Listen it’s good but this is the 3 rd time that I ask for onions and cheese only and they give me a plain burger. I’m so sad. Onions are my favorite and the only reason I go here and typically the only thing I can count on these days. I’m deeply saddened and disappointed.

Awful experience here. Placed an order at 6:27. By 7:03 there was no order ready, so I go to check and the order was never even started. Their solution is to expedite the order, as if I didn’t wait 35 minutes for the order.

Just got one of the worst fast food meals I've ever had from the drive thru. Food had been sitting out so it was all ice cold when I got it. I asked for it to go, but they put it in an eat in the car box. Shake was completely melted and only about 80% full. Burger bun was burned black so the burger didn't even taste good.

Hello I’m a regular at this location and it is very good . I did have a server Tamara she was Linda rude but the food is good hopefully she feel better but I don’t think you should treat people that way

We're from California and always love visiting In-N-Out, which made this visit more disappointing. We went through the drive-through and waited about 30 minutes. When we ordered at the speaker, the employee was friendly and cheerful, but we did feel a bit rushed while placing our order. We forgot to ask for no ice initially, but mentioned it at the payment window, and the employee there took care of it without any issues. However, when we finally received our food, all of our burger buns were burnt and very hard. On top of that, all of our drinks still had ice. We understand the location was busy, but it also appeared to be overstaffed, which made the experience more frustrating. We're usually big fans of In-N-Out, so we were surprised and disappointed by this visit.

Food was not good! Fries were soggy and no flavor and the burger was like a McDonald's cheeseburger. Service was great and the employees were friendly and quick at getting our order to us! Just not for me!

I ordered a 4 x 2 flying dutchman. Flying dutchman is supposed to have onions instead of buns. I don’t know what this in n out gave me.
