Estuvimos comiendo anoche con mi familia y nos encantó. Pedimos ensalada de gambas y salmón, lubina con gula crujiente, una parrillada de carne, tiramisú y tarta de queso… TODO RIQUÍSIMO y en cantidad! Además la atención del camarero Feres de 10, muy pendiente, rápido y amable… mis padres ya están diciendo que pronto vuelven con sus amigos… lo recomiendo!!!

Had a late lunch in this location on a Sunday with my two kids and parents. At an hour when most of the Spanish restaurants close their kitchen for descanso, this one delighted us with very nice dishes: we had seafood soup, dorada a la plancha, oxtail with an amazing sauce, lasagna and a plato combinado (fried eggs, french fries, bacon). Apart from the lasagna - which was too rich in salsa, with a rather commercial flavour - the food was incredibly tasty and the portions rather big. The service was also great and, apart from this, we received our order really quickly, given the fact the place was packed. We will definitely return! Good job, team Cortijillo!

We ate there twice while we were staying in Almuñécar. The 2nd time was for our 20th wedding anniversary. The codillo de cerdo is 😋 delicious. The 1st time we ordered a few appetizers and shared the entre, the second time I ordered the cerdo again. I would highly recommend it.

We always look for a traditional comfortable restaurant. This Restaurant ticks all the boxes. The food is exceptional, the staff are very friendly and attentive at all Times. Unfortunately for us we live 400km away , but whenever if ever we return to the area we will visit this restaurant.

Really enjoyed meal we had here on new years day. The waiter was really friendly , service was quick. We had tapas which was nice , the lasagne comes on its own but to be honest was really filling and rich so was fine on its own , daughter had spaghetti with cream and bacon sauce she loved it , the serving was huge and she couldn't finish. I would visit again

This place was recommended to us by another local restaurant owner. Total home run!!! We arrived around 2pm and the place was mostly deserted. Kitchen was immaculately clean. We ordered a two person seafood paella for 14 euro per person. Tons of seafood inside, too much to actually finish all of it. Bottom line: reasonably priced, beer was super cold, large portions and tasted outstanding.

Un lugar muy recomendable. Cenamos puntillitas de calamar y pulpo a la cazuela. El pulpo exquisito. Muy buena atención del personal, además tuvieron el detalle de conseguir una vela para festejar un cumpleaños. La comida de buena calidad y sin esperar demasiado. La única pega es que en la terraza hay demasiadas mesas y los camareros casi no pueden pasar entre ellas para atender a todo el mundo, creo que eliminado algunas de esas mesas el servicio podría mejorar.

Mariscada de buen tamaño y variada. Para mi gusto demasiada concha y algo de falta de abundancia en marisco. Las gambas cocidas espectaculares, pero el bogavante a la brasa (más bien plancha) un poco pasado lo que provocaba que la carne estuviera un poco dura. La atención de los camareros exquisita. Generous portions and tasty free tapas with your drinks. Superb location acros the beach boulevard. Is ussually very bussy for lunch and wheelchairs may find hard to get to the bathroom (is in the ground floor but not adapted). Is best to call in advance if you plan to go for lunch.

Just had a coffee here this morning. Good coffee, everyone's breakfast looked really nice, friendly staff, didn't eat here, but inside looked lovely so will definitely give it a go,, super clean and the toilet's were the cleanest I've been in in Almunecar, and I've lived here for nearly 2 years! Also good disabled access.

Hicimos una reserva para almorzar, cuando llegamos teníamos una mesa donde casi cogíamos, y que dentro de 10/15 minutos empezó a darnos el sol por la espalda a uno de los dos comensales, entiendo que quieran aprovecha al máximo el espacio...pero almorzar al sol aún con las temperaturas que tenemos como que no. Pedimos una fritura y bueno estaba buena, aunque otras veces ha estado mucho mejor, venia muchos trozos pequeños que era más harina que pescado.

A very good restaurant spoiled This restaurant is always very busy and popular amongst local Spanish and foreigners from all nationalities. We are locals and have eaten there a few times. It's certainly one of the better Spanish restaurants. There is a good ambience, the waiters are friendly and efficient. The food is good and plentiful. Prices are good but be careful about being persuaded to take the fresh fish unless you are prepared to pay for it. The reason it hasn't got five stars is that they allow smoking on the front terrace when it was closed in on all three sides and top, which is illegal in Spain, but nobody seems to care. A couple nearby chain smoked the whole evening and ruined our meal.

Mi primera impresión es de un quiero y no puedo por las siguientes razones: No informa de que la mariscada es sólo a la plancha y que te la van a poner FRIA y según coincidí con otros comensales últimamente un puntito cruda o poco hecha. La cantidad y la calidad del producto es excelente, lástima que no se pueda elegir cocida, al punto o hecha y muy importante siendo marisco a la plancha que esté calentito. Su relación calidad precio está muy bien Servicio bien.

Fuimos a cenar el día 24 y pedimos una fritura pensando que ahí suelen tener buen pescado. La peor que he comido en mi vida.No había piezas enteras , solo trocitos de pescado muy pequeños. Los trocitos de rape olían a amoniaco , la única cigala sabia muy raro y estaba repleta de pescaillos pequeños muy enharinada y con mucho aceite. Fatal. Otros años he ido y ha estado bastante bien pero ahora la calidad ha bajado mucho. Por cierto, la ración de fritura costo 18 euros y eso eran restos, harina y mucho aceite.
