I went in to get an ice cream cone, and a young man came over to serve me. I asked for two flavors and paid €3, but, alas!, a two-flavor cone in this place costs a modest €3.70. Perhaps it's artisanal ice cream of excellent quality, but given the way it was displayed, I didn't think so. I asked if he'd made a mistake, and he rudely and impolitely replied that the price was posted. Indeed, among the various notices posted, it said "but no problem, on my part, to pay," and meanwhile, he held onto the ice cream in his hand, which he said had just been made and was melting. At that point, a woman asked for two ice creams, and the same young man, still impolite and with a haughty tone, told the woman that the price was €3.70 for each ice cream. The woman replied that, given his tone, she didn't even want the ice creams, and left. A little courtesy never hurts. Anyway, problem solved because I didn't like the ice cream and it left my mouth dry and bitter and I will never go back.
