Excelente! Una terraza con una vista divina, la atención genial y una comida muuy rica. Pedimos solomillo de cerdo con salsa de roquefort que era una delicia, chuletas de cordero y fideos de salmon, con un vino de la casa muy rico. Muuy recomendable, nosotros vamos a volver.

EL MEJOR SITIO DE ALTEA PARA COMER/CENAR. Nos sentimos super agusto y comimos como reyes. Pedimos una botella de vino azul espumoso, y aunque parece mucho, con la cena sienta estupendamente. El camarero que nos atendió aparte de majo, era súper simpático y agradable, tip de vital importancia trabajando en hostelería. La comida estaba literalmente de 10. Nuestro gran descubrimiento fueron los dátiles con bacon y almendra. Guau. 😳 nos quedamos impresionados de la combinación de sabores y lo ricos que estaban. Una maravilla. Encantados con este lugar, lo recomendaré a mis conocidos y ojalá poder volver.

En agosto del 22, la atención del personal espectacular. Un camarero noruego encantador. Los platos bien presentados, elaborados y muy buenos con cantidad suficiente, y la terraza fenomenal. Para repetir, lo cual hemos hecho este agosto del 23, el personal sigue siendo especial en este acogedor restaurante y la comida buenisima. Bacalao y salmón de 10. Y repetimos en agosto del 2025 con las mismas sensaciones. Todo espectacular y la atención más aún.

Excelente opción para cenar en Altea. La comida muy rica mezcla noruega y española. El dueño super atento y agradable igual que los camareros.

Tuna carpaccio and meat carpaccio were of great quality. Good cheese. Good oil. Red Tuna seasonal was awesome I can't believe I like it as much as meat. Beef was also of great quality. General service level well above average and there was a waiter called Sebastian who really understands how to make your experience even better. 5 stars :D

We were in Altea for a wedding, the first week in June. We wanted to organise day-before drinks for about 50 people on Casa Vital’s wonderful terrace. Age Folkestad, the owner, was super helpful and his staff were all absolutely amazing. They pulled out all the stops and we all had a wonderful afternoon. About 20 of us also stayed on for dinner which was also fantastic. Thank you so much, you are an excellent team, hospitality at its best. Highly recommended.

My wife and dropped in here yesterday for lunch, what a great location looking out over the sea. Well worth the uphill walk to get here. The two gentlemen waiters were superb, absolutely first class service. We both had salads, my wife said hers would had been perfect (for her) if they hadn’t used Frisée lettuce, she would have preferred mesclun lettuce, a very minor point I would say. We had an amazing evening at Casa Vital! Age is the sweetest person ever, as we stayed in the AirBNB above the restaurant and decided to grab dinner downstairs one evening. The atmosphere was amazing, as the terrace has one of the best views in the entire city. The food was well priced for the amazing quality and the wine was some of the best I’ve had throughout my past 4 months in Europe. The Spaghetti Roquefort was absolutely delicious and some of the best pasta I’ve had. Overall, this was one of the best dine out experiences I’ve had in Europe and Casa Vital will be on my list of places to definitely return to!

We were invited to dinner, and were seated outside, with beautiful view. After a while it became a little cool, so the waiters brought us carpets. The starters/tapas dishes were delicious, the entrecôte was perfect, and so was the tiramisu 🤩 The location of this restaurant is wonderful, placed in the old town of Altea. We will definitely come back!

For starter we had the ham and cheese platter. It was an especially good manchego cheese and a nice ham. For the mina course we had the beef with roasted potatoes, squash and pepper sauce. It was just amazing! The only bad thing was a piece of cartilage and fat in all of the meats. It was a bit un delicate.. We finished the meal with the cheesecake with blueberries. We can highly recommend these choices! We paired the food with the “thea” wine - which was surprisingly good wine! We did also try their blue wine, which was a fun experience - tastes a bit artificial

We had a great experience - the food was really good (carpaccio de atún was superb), friendly service - the host/owner was very attentive. While the restaurant has a fantastic terrace with spectacular views, we sat inside and really enjoyed the 1850s building.

We like to visit this lovely restaurant every time we are in the area.. not just because of the fine dining or the magnificent view, but also because of the way you are always made to feel so welcome. This place is situated at the top of Already town on the southern seaward side and hence has views directly over the sea. A good range of local food and drinks with a friendly owner on site. I advise booking even out of season as it becomes ever more popular. I have been going here since it opened in 2001 and still enjoy it as much as the first time.

Romántico con vistas perfectas. Restaurante con un gran atractivo, su galardonado vino azul. Comida sabrosa de buena calidad. Pedimos raciones para picar, una de estas raciones era calamares a la romana la cual queda muy distante del resto ya que me atrevería a juzgar que eran congelados. Las vistas son increíbles, me gustaría destacar la opción de no ir muy pronto para comer, ya que el sol será algo molesto y no ir muy tarde por la noche, ya que el mar quedará escondido por la oscuridad de la noche.

Un restaurante tranquilo, dentro del casco antiguo de Altea, con una carta justa, pero muy acertada en sus platos, abundantes y deliciosos y precios asequibles. Situado al lado de uno de los miradores de Altea, donde corre una pequeña brisa, al mismo tiempo en que disfrutas de sus vistas del pueblo, playa y montaña. La atención del personal y sobretodo de Age, ( el responsable) muy simpático y servicial, hacen que disfrutes a cada momento del restaurante, la oferta culinaria y su vino azul, a destacar. Para amenizar nuestra visita, hubo unos minutos de música cantada acompañada de una guitarra, a la que se sumaron al baile empleados y visitantes.

Muy buena cocina, buen servicio y buena ubicación. Los camareros super amables y todos los platos estaban deliciosos. Lo único es que son algo escasos con la cantidad ya que los platos son caros. Hay un mirador en la misma plaza en donde podrás ver toda la playa.

El salmón y el bacalao correcto. El jamón y el queso de calidad pésima. La sepia para volver a tirarla al mar. Caro para lo que ofrece. Muy bien en cuanto a servicio y vistas.

3.5 Was a bit disappointed to be honest, the reviews seemed great that is why we went with my family. The terrace is great even though you can't really see the view with the many people coming to take a picture. The food was ok (on the plus side). Let me explain: the tuna was awesome, the sea bream was just good, the lamb chops were good but small, and the salmon spaghetti was not good. The desserts and cocktails were not good either. It's not cheap. The service was ok.

We were so looking forward to spend our anniversary here and booked a table outside on the terrasse. Unfortunately for us a large group of women, about 40 arrived right before us so we had to wait for a table to be brought out for us. We got seated and another couple came next to us. We sat there for 30 minutes waiting and the couple that came after us got to order and had some drinks. But we still sat there for another 10 minutes and nothing happened. We arrived hungry and now we realised that it might take another hour until we even get our starters as the group behind just started ordering theirs. So we walked out of there very disappointed and decided to eat somewhere else. I think that when you have such a large group of people coming together, they are fully aware that it would take some time to be served. But you should not neglect a couple of 2, who you easily could have served in between so we felt seen and heard. I know that you are very friendly and serviceminded, but in this case you should have let us know that you did not actually have the time or capacity to serve us. We will try again some other time, hopefully to actually try some of your food and drinks.

Ordered lasagne and it tasted burnt. It was quite bitter and it overpowered the rest of the taste. I Included a photo of the food. Charred parts can be seen. The restaurant is located by a lookout point with a great view, and the tables are seated by the point. Unfortunately it doubled as a smoking spot, and throughout my entire dinner there were always someone standing or sitting there smoking.
