Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location, a seafront terrace. The food is good. Simple menu and fresh ingredients. Clean and welcoming place. The only flaw is the portions are extremely small, too small.

Excellent restaurant with a delicious menu. I highly recommend the tuna with Tropea onions (lightly cooked), tagliolini with clams, mixed fried anchovies, shrimp, and calamari—and for the child, the excellent penne pasta with tomato sauce. We were very pleased with the service, the presentation, the sea view, and the delicious flavor of the dishes.

Il servizio con personale educato, cordiale e sempre disponibile, senza mai essere invadente. Il pranzo al Ristorante Mare Blu è stato un’esperienza piacevole, impreziosita da una vista davvero impagabile sul mare. Buono il primo ma non eccezionale : tagliolini all’aragostina , antipasti di mare freschi ma non saporitissimi ( gusto personale) ,frittura di alici gustosa e croccante. Tuttavia, il conto finale si è rivelato decisamente eccessivo rispetto alla qualità complessiva e, a maggior ragione, al servizio ricevuto: dopo 90€ a persona , nemmeno un caffè è stato offerto a fine pasto. Nel complesso, una bella esperienza dal punto di vista paesaggistico e gastronomico, ma con un rapporto qualità/prezzo non del tutto soddisfacente.

We went here only for dinner. The only thing that was good was the view. The food was below average. The filet fish my wife ordered was no filet but a very tiny grilled fish with almost no flesh on it. The bruchetta was way to salty. I left it on my plate. We don't recommend the restaurant. It also mentioned "pizzeria" but when we got the menu there was no pizza available... The waiter also didn't speak a word of english...in a international hotel...

Abbiamo visitato questo ristorante attirati dalla magnifica location e dai tramonti mozzafiato che offre, e su questo fronte le aspettative sono state pienamente ripagate: la vista è davvero incantevole. Purtroppo, la bellezza del paesaggio è l'unica nota positiva di una serata che si è rivelata estremamente deludente sotto ogni altro aspetto. Il servizio è stato pessimo: lento, disattento e per nulla all'altezza dei prezzi proposti. Parlando proprio di prezzi, li abbiamo trovati eccessivamente elevati, soprattutto considerando la qualità del cibo, che era scarsa. Ci aspettavamo una cena di pesce all'altezza, ma siamo rimasti profondamente insoddisatti. A rendere il tutto ancora più spiacevole, il menù era stampato su un semplice foglio A4, assolutamente non presentabile e poco curato, un dettaglio che strideva fortemente con l'ambizione (e i costi) del locale. In sintesi, un vero peccato che un luogo con un potenziale così grande grazie alla sua posizione spettacolare sia rovinato da un servizio scadente, prezzi ingiustificati e una qualità del cibo che lascia molto a desiderare. Il ristorante, purtroppo, non rende giustizia allo spettacolo che la natura offre.

Very overpriced for the quality, you pay for the service on the table, a paper tablecloth and a paper napkin. The fried seafood was not good. The only positive note was the two waiters. The bill was very overpriced for what was brought to the table.

We stayed at this hotel in August. We had half-board, which was very poor. The portions were small and the food was very poor. Breakfast consisted of soft, expired biscuits. There was little choice, and everything was quite poor, even the burnt croissants. The staff was there, but it was almost as if they weren't there. They were distracted and unprofessional. The prices were extremely high for the poor service. Never again. The positive was the location near the beach, where you could admire a stunning sunset.

My friend and I had lunch in this apparently beautiful place, especially the sea view. We asked for advice on what to eat and were told that he didn't eat fish so he couldn't advise us. We ordered 2 bruschettas and 4 arrived, octopus and potatoes with black pepper. I don't recommend this place.

As a Calabrian, I can only be ashamed of the treatment my fellow countrymen give to someone because they're single! In Italy, 48% of people are single... and you persist in treating us like this. Then you wonder why we go abroad to bring our money! And then for 9 days in August, €1,600.00, excluding the cost of the dog (€20 per day!!!!) and the beach... you should have at least asked me to eat!

As soon as we arrived, we noticed that all the umbrellas on the cliff side were free. I asked for an umbrella with three loungers, €26, which is out of line, but I usually don't make a fuss and I also asked for a table at the restaurant, always for three people. On the beach, they had practically crowded everyone on one side, for some reason known to them. Of course, I asked to be placed on the opposite side because, frankly, paying €26 to basically be under someone else's umbrella isn't right. Initially, they said no, then when we told them to leave and asked for our money back, a beach umbrella magically appeared on the cliff side, in the front row and well-spaced from the other umbrellas. What a shameful policy! I obviously cancelled my restaurant reservation since they couldn't prepare a Campari Spritz in a normal time frame or give me olives. I waited 10 minutes because they didn't even know the prices, and I had to carry the food to the beach myself. Furthermore, VERY SERIOUSLY, THEY DON'T PROVIDE RECEIPTS. EVEN THOUGH I REPEATEDLY ASKED FOR THEM, THEY NEVER PROVIDED ONE, NOT EVEN FOR ALL THE OTHER ITEMS, WHICH WERE EXCESSIVELY PRICES AND OF POOR QUALITY. Another sore point is the filthiness of the beach. AVOID THIS PLACE.

We came to this beach at the end of July and requested a beach umbrella with three loungers. In the end, they gave us what we asked for and we paid €28 by card. However, we weren't given a receipt. They then sent us to the lifeguard, who seated us in the front row, but the back and sides were packed. Oddly, to our right were tons of completely empty umbrellas. We didn't understand why they were trying to put everyone in the same crowded spot. We asked to change umbrellas, but they initially said no. Only after we said we wanted our money back did a free umbrella suddenly appear in a quiet, empty area. Afterward, we went to the bar for a cocktail and some olives. The cocktail was made in 15 minutes: they didn't seem to know how to make it. At the cashier, they didn't even know how much the olives cost. In the end, we paid €9.50 for a watered-down cocktail and a few olives. Again, no receipt. In short: this place isn't worth the money. Confusing service, lack of transparency in prices, and a complete lack of receipts. We won't be returning.
