We were just driving through Amarillo and wanted something quick and convenient, and Chop Chop Rice Co. was the perfect find. The service was fast, the food was hot and flavorful, and the whole experience was super easy. I got the teriyaki chicken rice bowl, and it was way better than I expected for a quick stop. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and great flavor. It definitely beat the usual fast food options. If you’re on the road and need a solid meal without the wait, this place is worth pulling over for.

The young male cashier greeted us nicely as we entered the establishment. After ordering the food the wait time to receive it was less than a minute. They bring the food out fast! The food taste great, pricing is good, and the serving portion was good as well. My family and I will most definitely eat there again.

For the first time, I ordered the rice on the side, and it is a game changer. I've never liked the juices from the veggies getting all mixed into the rice. First time even hearing about this place. I wish we had this in our home town, it was fast and phenomenal. Come to think about it, maybe I wouldn't want one in my hometown, because I would be eating there all the time. We sampled most of the sauces. My favorites is the orange chicken sauce and the sweet chili.

Really friendly staff and clean restaurant! They were super fast and had so many sauces to choose from! Everything was pretty good and I would say you can tell the staff/owners are doing a really good job. The only thing not really going for them is the food is quite subpar. Which isn’t really their fault because seems like it’s a franchise and they get their food from somewhere else. Food is good for a quick Chinese meal but it’s nothing special. I feel like this restaurant is SO close to being perfect, It just needs slightly higher quality of food. Good location, great staff, lots of seating, drive thru, quick service, good amount of menu options, clean area… literally everything is good except the food. Again, it’s not terrible it’s just nothing special. Definitely better than any of the other fast food options around.

Unfortunately, our experience at Chop Chop was disappointing. While driving through Amarillo we decided to find the highest rated restaurant we could and eat there. Considering that this place had a 4.7 rating with over a thousand reviews, we had to find out what this was all about! But having tried it, I can't imagine how this restaurant was rated higher than everywhere else. Don't get me wrong, it's an okay fast food Chinese place, but the food we were served was bland, overcooked, and not particularly tasty. I had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki with fried rice, but they forgot to bring the teriyaki. When I did get some teriyaki sauce, it was as runny as water and it did nothing to add flavor to the overcooked chicken or the flavorless rice. Outside of the actual food quality, the rest of our experience was not great either. There was a pricing discrepancy between the menu on the wall and what the register attempted to charge, the staff was new and not very aware of the menu or processes, and we were even bugged by flies at the table. I can't give more than 3 stars, and I feel that's a little generous. We were left wishing we had tried another local establishment because I don't think this can be representative of the top restaurants in Amarillo.

I know there are two Chop Chop locations here in Amarillo. There is no way, no how they are owned by the same people!! This location on Woflin is closer to my home now so i came here thinking it would be the same. Boy was i wrong!! There is a HUGE difference in flavor! Woflin location is very bland and tastes absolutely nothing like the location on Coulter! Maybe its just two different cooks? Idk there is something WAY different between the two. I’m just gonna stick with the other location. Whatever they’re doing different i like better

It was very disappointing. More rice than anything. Small portion of meat. I asked for no Pineapple. They put pineapple. Never eating there again. I had to throw it out.

I ordered at the ChopChop truck that visited Borger at the end of January. Borger’s restaurant selection is slim, so I was looking forward to this option. I was extremely disappointed. I paid $30 for two meals that I ended up tossing out. The egg rolls were tasty, but the orange chicken and steak fried rice meals were far from what I remember ChopChop to be. The rice smelled like it had gone bad, the orange chicken had no flavor, and the steak was gray and tough. I can’t say I’ll be running back.

I order chopapillas. When I received them I noticed they were filled with cream cheese. I tried to explain to the female in the picture that I don't eat cream cheese due to a dairy allergy. I asked to exchange it she said, "I don't know what you eat and don't eat if you want something different you will have to pay for it." You order chopapillas so you have to keep the. I explained to her that I have never order sopapillas filled with anything and I have an allergy. So looked me and said OK, you ordered them. She refused to exchange or refund my money.

My boyfriend ordered salmon and ended up eating a roundworm that had infected the salmon. Be careful eating here, they dont make sure that their food is safe. ALso, i am just seeing that the resturant replied to this reveiw telling me that that is chickan in that photo; and apparently we shredded off a thin peice of chickan, made it look like a worm, SO THAT we could leave a bad reveiw. We dont care about your resturant that much. Also, dont tell us what we ordered, WE KNOW. We also have the recept so everone else knows too. If you look closely at the meat, you can clearly see that it flakes like fish. We also know what shredded chickan looks like. That WORM doesnt look anything like the texture of the meat its sitting on top of. First you serve us parasite infested fish. Then you insult my intelligence by telling ME what I ordered and ate???

Generally I try to always see the positive in everything, but I come home and all I want to do is eat my rice 😞 . I dump it onto a plate to put sauce on it, and after two bites I find what looks to be plastic in my food. Extremely disappointed 😢 Chop Chop please do better.

staff is great but the menu and the items are just the worst. menu makes no sense. why is ordering literally one of the three things you have so difficult? i was desperate for food which is the only reason i ever eat at this place but the menu just made it totally intolerable. original or teriyaki but the lists underneath dont have anything to do with them? the type of meat apparently doesnt go in order of where it is on the menu either. im out. never touching this place again.

Ordered steak fried rice no veggies , made it home realized there was veggies so I went back , told them about it , they proceed to use the same cup take out the veggies and put the same steak back in without adding more rice . I could’ve done that at home . Ridiculous. do better.

45 bucks for 2 reg plates of sub par food is ridiculous. Couldn't chew the steak and it was cooked to death! Paid more for shimp and got 5 tiny shrimp..just ridiculous. The whole dish had very little flavor. If it wasnt for the sauces, we wouldnt have eaten any of it!. They offered us some chicken for compensation...thanks for that but we wont be back!
