Magic !! Prachtig terras in hip Amsterdam. Hier komen weinig toeristen en veel leuke Amsterdammers, genieten in de zon. Uitstekende bediening met goede happen en lekkere wijn. Wij gaan hier snel weer heen, aanrader.

Top! De locatie, met een lekker zonnetje, is een van de mooiste plekjes in Amsterdam, binnen net zo gezellig. De service is enorm vriendelijk, snel en behulpzaam. Het eten was echt fantastisch! De makreel op, samen met de kip katsu. Een aanrader!

Joaquín verdiend wel een salarisverhoging wat een prachtige service biedt deze jongen! Lekkere kaart, met fijne hapjes en lekkere cocktails die Luka goed kan shaken!

Top tent! Heeerlijk op de hoek aan het water, en genoten van zonsondergang. Leuk spontaan personeel, fijne muziek en heerlijke bitterballen. Lekker Amsterdams, classy casual

Top plek! Erg leuk om te zitten met vrienden voor een borrel. De cocktails die wij kregen van de barman Luka waren fantastisch, mijn favoriet de lychee martini. Zeker een aanrader ook het eten is oprecht mega lekker.

Gisteren bij Bar Billie gegeten en wat een geweldige service!! We werden ontzettend goed geholpen door Luka en Avy. Super vriendelijk en oplettend. Het eten was ook geweldig de sliptong was heerlijk en de gamba’s waren perfect bereid. Zeker een plek waar ik graag kom! <3

Ik had laatst een lekker haringkje gehaald met ui en zuur erbij. Onderweg terug naar huis merkte ik dat ik behoorlijk dorstig was. Dus ik stap naar binnen bij de toppers van Bar Billie. En zij hebben mij zalig gesoigneerd met een ijskoud fluitje. Schone glazen. Rustig getapt. ‘Levend’ afgeschuimd in een hoek van 45 graden. Met het logo naar voren op de bar gezet. Terugkomen doe ik zeker. Cheers

Bar Billie is een absolute aanrader in Amsterdam – gezellige sfeer, fantastische cocktails en supervriendelijk personeel. De borrelhappen zijn verrassend lekker, vooral de truffelfriet is een must. Een perfecte plek voor een ontspannen avond met vrienden of een gezellige date!

The bar’s atmosphere is gripping you instantly as you enter the establishment. The Espresso Martini, Moscow Mule, Amaretto Sour is exceptionally tasteful and delicate, also try the Gaia IPA-Sprite combo as a “Shandy” if you keen. Altogether a marvelous experience, I personally gave a lot of tips to the staff, because their hospitality was peak.

Nice place by the canal to relax. The fresh beer was cold and refreshing, and the atmosphere is really calm and pleasant. Great spot to unwind and enjoy the view!

My friend and I had many "last beers" here and it is a wonderfull place with a cosy terrace where we sat while it rained. The staff was nothing but outstanding, friendly, attentive and with a sense of humour. Bo thank you for your service you and your colleague that were on duty definitely deserve a raise!

Vreselijk. Vriendelijke bediening, daar blijft het bij. Slechte akoestiek,. Matige wijnen (zure pinot Grigio), slechte “spicy” margaritha. Geen rim, dat Kenden ze niet. Tourist trap. Niet voor Amsterdammers. Misschien een leuk biercafe.

Het was altijd al een gezellige tent..maar helaas zijn de prijzen in de hoogte geschoten. Niet meer voor de buurtbewoners helaas...jammer!

Laat ik beginnen met iets positiefs. Hier werkt de liefste en beste serveerster die wij ooit hebben meegemaakt, dus zij kon er allemaal niks aan doen. Omdat wij een wiebelig tafeltje hadden stortte mijn aperol spritz van tafel, over mijn kleren en mijn tas. Omdat wij zelf uit de horeca komen gingen we er vanuit dat we er maar 2 hoefden te betalen, dus toen er 3 bleken op te staan vroegen wij aan de lieve serveerster of dat klopte. Zij vertelde ons dat zij die 3e er van haar baas op moest zetten. Wij waren zo erg verbijsterd! Meteen geappt met mede-horecamensen ,die het ook niet vonden kunnen. Wij kwamen hier regelmatig maar we hebben besloten om hier nooit meer te komen want dit is zulke slechte service, op het onbeschofte af.

Oké plek. Maar we moesten na een halfuur ineens weg vanwege een reservering, terwijl dat niet tegen ons was gezegd en er geen bordjes waren. Geen compensatie gegeven.

My date and I went there last July 15 2025 for our last date in Amsterdam before I fly off back to the Philippines the next day. The weather was beautiful, the location was charming and we got a table right away outside. A server came to us and just ordered drinks first and took our time to decide which food to order (we forgot to ask the name of the server and they didn't have name plates on them; he was a tall guy of mixed ethnicity). Finally we ordered food for us. Other people arrived after us and we were still patiently waiting for our order. Finally, after waiting patiently about 45 minutes at this point, we asked the server who took our orders what seems to be the problem. To our surprise, he seemed like he didn't remember that he took our orders and said he'll check and follow up. After about 10 more minutes, I told my date that I would go inside and ask again because all the other people who came after us got their food orders right away. When I came inside I spoke to the other female servers what's the status of our order. One female server called the guy who took our orders to speak to me and explain. When the guy went to talk to me, at this point, he exhibited a very arrogant behavior and kept on smirking. I asked him what happened. He said that he forgot to send our orders to the kitchen. He only sent our order 25 minutes after we arrived. He kept on blabbering and saying sorry and that one of the food orders will be on the house, etc. Then I asked, why didn't he or anyone from the staff at least informed us that our food wasn't prepared yet and at least apologized for the inconvenience or offered drinks. When I asked again how many more minutes do we have to wait, he said at that point when I went inside the bar to talk to them, It was only then that they were preparing one of the dishes. At this point I got really annoyed and frustrated because it just means that he still hasn't told the kitchen about our orders. I just said that we're gonna leave and even if one of the dishes was already prepared, we didn't want to eat and stay there anymore cause we lost our appetite. I was so angry at this point and just said that ill just pay for our drinks. The way this arrogant male server smirked at me and sort of presented the POS card reader and just pushed it towards me was unacceptable. The other female servers were looking at him and shaking their heads probably in embarrassment for their unprofessional colleague. I don't know why this server ignored our order but was very cordial and fast in serving other diners. My date and I are both foreigners (I'm Filipino on vacation, he's Lebanese based in Amsterdam), we're gay, and were very affectionate towards each other while we were there (cause it's our last date together and might not see each other again) but I don't want to think that this idiot server ignored us because of our race and/or sexual orientation. I just hope that whoever this server is, would get some kind of pep talk by their management and I hope or had hoped that the other female servers who knew about the issue stood up for us and called out their male colleague about his behavior because by not speaking up or telling their work mate that he is at fault, they were complicit to the horrible service provided to us. Good thing after wasting almost an hour waiting for our food, we got out of Bar Billie. Horrible experience. Fortunately, we found an awesome pizza place, shout out to PAZZI JORDAAN (Eerste Looiersdwarsstraat 4, 1016 VM Amsterdam, Netherlands) who had the most friendly and excellent italian server and staff who really took care of us and the pizza is excellent!!! We loved their food, service and ambiance. The date ended really well thanks to this really gem of a pizza place. We will never go back to Bar Billie or we hope that if we do meet again in Amsterdam, that particular server who works in Bar Billie is not there anymore.
