You know what they say about those hole in the wall type places. This one doesn't disappoint, either. I've had lots of fried rice and egg rolls in my life but this restaurant had them more flavorful than most others. Honestly, the last time I've had Chinese food this good was in China.

Honestly some of the best Chinese food I've had ever and had in the area none the less. The quality Is as good as some $15 restaraunt you'd find in a more populated area, and the portions are big too. Anytime I'm in Amsterdam I know where I'm going

Food is always hot, fresh and delicious! Call ahead to pick up. Covid19 precautions are in place. Wear a mask to enter and social distance markers on the floor! Order online!

Good food, strange counter. Being let off of work early for the holidays left me a little curious as to what I should get for dinner, when I recalled there was one place in Amsterdam I had yet to try. Peking, situated next to the old and run-down KFC, across from McDonalds, and in a building that has been at least 3 other restaurants in the time I've lived here. Decided to make my trip on foot, only about 1.5 miles away, though when I got inside it was not as I was expecting. Interior was a bit dim, seating area rather sparse, with a thick plexiglass shield that sealed off the order counter. Clearly something installed during COVID, but now makes the place feel more like a Pawn Shop than a Chinese take-out restaurant. Ordered through the small window in the glass, going with a large sized Chicken Lo Mein, a Pork Egg Roll, a Vegetable Spring Roll, and of course of Crab Rangoon. Total coming to just over $21, which is fine and dandy for Chinese take-out. Walked back home and after a little bit got into my dinner. It was bagged up nicely, being secure even after the jostling of a miles walk, and still very warm too. The lo mein was first, the thick noodles were rich and saucy, some vegetables sprinkled here and there, with a scattering of actual chicken chunks. Was hoping there'd be more chicken in the lo mein, but it was mostly just the noodles. Still very yummy, just, a lack of the meaty substance I sought. The crab rangoon was good, but had a very small amount of filling in each piece. A good 30% of that fried triangle was just empty, and the filling there was, was gone in a single bite. A bit disappointing. That said, both the egg roll and spring roll were excellent. Filled to the brim with their respecting filling, excellently fried, and bursting with flavor. Well worth the $2 or so price tag per roll. They also include some sweet and sour sauce, but I opted to not use any. Overall, acceptable dishes, better prices, and a weird restaurant layout.

The restaurant was clean. I checked the dining areas, bathroom and looked into the kitchen area. Anyone saying otherwise don't understand what these inexpensive carryout restaurants look like. If your in Amsterdam and want American style Chinese food, get takeout. Dining in ok but it was rather empty.

A bit overpriced as far as we were concerned, and the food wasn't really all that good. The parking lot isn't that great, with no designated spaces, and MANY big holes

There pork fried rice is white like no color or flavor. China one def better. Don't waste ur money here

My 'spicy' general taos chicken was cooked to order. Recieved hot food did end up finding a curly black hair in a 1/3 of the way threw eatting it. The business recylces and askes you to separate when cleaning up after yourself like a cafateria. Dirty tables and trash on the floor. No fortune cookies. Take out seemed more popular. Does not deliver. Will be popping in the again to see if the other items are more appealing.

When I asked for forks (they had only spoons available) a young guy grabbed two from I assume a box underneath the counter with his bare hands and handed them to me. Cleanliness and hygiene is definitely not their strength. On the other hand, the food was good, large portions and inexpensive. A clean environment would definitely make our experience more enjoyable.

The food is great. Fast service when you're on a 30-minute break, which is wonderful. Although the building and inside look as though they are out of business, unfortunately 😕

One general tsue chicken and boneless rib combo with soda cost me 29 dollars how is it so overpriced those two items shouldn't be over 10 dollars come on

They never told me they were going to call me from an out of state number when they were here. Honestly the food was gross. I will never order from there again.

This is the 3rd time trying this food and it is horrible! I've been sick since 130AM, I GAVE IT 3X!!!And the same thing has happened, change your oil once in awhile!!!!!! HORRIBLE...DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOOD TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!! DOESN'T DESERVE ONE STAR!! IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD POST!!!!

Very disappointed I usually order from here never have no issues but upon ordering last Sunday late at night I had asked for no vegetables in any of my combination platters or my rice they put vegetables in it I had called Sunday night after I received my order and nobody would answer the phone they were closed.... So I waited till they opened up Tuesday and I called them the guy was so rude to me yelling at me telling me he cannot remake my old order that he knows he made it right I told him I have the food sitting here still and he still refuses to remake my food that's after giving a $10 tip and paying $5 for delivery my kids will not eat it if there is vegetables in it so I basically wasted $45 for nothing

Complete disappointment!!! This is the second time. Paid 24 dollars for an order of pineapple chicken and mei fun. They charged me double the delivery price of $2 so i paid $4 for a one person order up the street. The guy parked away from house and called and said he was oustide both times and i had to walk barefoot across the thawing yard to meet him at his car. I brought $24 thinking it would only be about $16 according to their site ad when he told me $21 dollars he stared at the $24 like it wasnt enough. I got inside and my chicken was spilled all over the bag

Then after I called them they said next time you order we will send you a pint of beef fried rice . He didn’t have Courtesy but that was my dinner and he didn’t say I’ll bring you a dinner tonight he was unthoughtful no professional that’s my bad experience from yesterday ordering at 5 pm they came fast food taste old to be honest. Too many occasions where I’ve found hair in my rice , CONNECTED TO FRIED CHICKEN and even in my BONELESS RIBS !! IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE ! ITS DIGUSTING ! And they don’t even compensate you for finding hair in your food !! They rather remake it than give you a refund !! Would give 0 stars if I could . They have to step it up

Never again! I called the restaurant today for them to have no concern and just claim everything is fresh. It was the last thing I ate yesterday so it was definitely the food. They said they will refund me. We will see.

I will not eat here ever again, this place was good, turned bad. constantly forgetting food, and lying about it, then served us rancid boneless ribs. This was so putrid, i almost lost my dinner. I would advise to stay away from this place, as it is no longer made with care. Also terrible general Tso's. flavorless wonton soup. most of the dishes are just bland.
