At first i didnt want to make the drive ...there arent many locations...but the drive was worth it.When we got to daves hot chicken,Justin took our order. He was very professional and took time to explain the hotness of the choices of chicken . When we recieved our order I immediately noticed the you get more fries than many places (like canes)and the pickles served with the chicken here are crunchy and delicious 😋, my kids loved it !! The locating is really nice n clean ! You'll enjoy it.

You might need two hands and a plan of attack. Add crinkle-cut fries and Dave’s sauce (a creamy, tangy dream), and you’re living in fried chicken heaven. Spice levels range from “No Spice” for cowards (no shame) to “Reaper” for the fearless — or slightly unhinged. Pro tip: start at “Hot” before playing chicken with your insides. The vibes are urban, the staff is friendly, and there’s always someone proudly posing with their tray like they just climbed a culinary mountain. Whether you’re a spice newbie or a heat junkie, Dave’s is bringing the flavor, the crunch, and the cluckin’ good time. 10/10 would eat again — possibly with a fire extinguisher on hand.

This was my first time at Dave’s Hot Chicken, and I was honestly so scared because I can’t handle spicy food. But the cashier was SO nice—he explained everything to me, helped me choose the zero heat option, and made me feel totally comfortable. I was so impressed with the food and service that I even told him, “If Chick-fil-A is a 10, you guys are a 9!” (but now after having chick fil a again, I think this place is less greasy) He even gave me some extra sauces to take home, which was such a nice touch. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the whole experience was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back, and maybe next time, I’ll even try a little spice! The only thing that I can even slightly criticize is the chairs in the dining room, as a personal opinion I HATE those chairs they hurt my back so terribly and so that would definitely make me consider eating somewhere else on days my back is acting up (especially for this location since we only went because they were open late after a LONG day at Disney) this location would definitely benefit with more comfortable chairs. 🤷‍♀️

First timer! The food was good. Kinda what you expect with this style of food. Did mild and was not disappointed, but it's definitely not spicy enough for me. Space was like Chipotle lightly flavored/spice. Will be doing hot flavor next time. Also eat it while it is warm. Once it cools down, it aont the same. But the meal has overall great flavor. Amothsphere/Service got a 4 only because it wasn't anything special.

Always when I go to this location Juila most of time is there and she was today also and is always very friendly and helpful! I gave 5 stars today still because the food was very yummy and sometime a mistake can turn it to something that was meant to be :)

I’ve had great experiences coming to this Dave’s Hot Chicken, simply due to the vibe with Justin, and Kim. There are a few others that are chill, but they take the kill in this review. Justin aims to look out for people and works hard. I’ve spoken with him, and from having some real conversations with him? He does work hard. That also goes for Kim! She works hard too to make sure things are done right from what I’ve noticed. Bottom line? They’re both great individuals that work as hard as they can. I give them props. 🙌🏼

So my colleague Julia recommended this place to me we went before the angels stadium. They had a variety of food and I chose the sliders the place was clean and atmosphere felt warm and fresh at the same time. I dug in to my chicken like burger sampler thinggies they were so juicy and right amount of spice. Thanks Julia for the recommendation will be seeing this place again.!!

Perfect for a late night dinner, especially after a concert at the Honda Center or a game at the Angels Stadium. Parking: They're located in a plaza with other popular food chains like Chipotle, Panda Express, Carl’s Jr, etc. There's a small parking lot in the back and a larger parking lot beside it. Cars are constantly going in n out, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with a decent amount of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. We visited close to midnight, and they were poppin. They’re the only spot that’s open till 2AM. Service: You can order at the kiosk. There’s two kiosk to order from. You can also order at the register. Since it started getting busy, we ordered at the register. The cashier was simply quick and efficient. Throughput took about 10 min after ordering. Foods: We got the chicken tenders, sliders, and fries with medium heat. We really appreciated that the chickens are cooked fresh. They were steaming hot when we got our food. The medium heat was spicy but not too much spice to the point where we didn’t enjoy it. The slider came with slaw and pickles. The fries were seasoned well. Everything paired deliciously together. Pricing: Prices are a bit higher, but it was definitely worth it after a long night of singing and dancing hehe.

Delicious and fresh food served by friendly staff in an uncomfortable restaurant. Food: I ordered the chicken bites medium hotness and mac n cheese. The chicken was juicy and crispy. Medium was just the right level of hotness with lots of other spices coming through, not just heat. Mac n cheese was creamy and flavorful. The price was right for such quality food, quite a good value. Service: Not much more interaction than calling my name when placing my tray on the for me to pick up. They seemed friendly and smiled. I used the self-service kiosk to place my order and was surprised when the kiosk asked me for a tip. It is quite an affront to ask for a tip with such little service rendered. Atmosphere: So hot inside. I was sweating before my food was ready and quite soaked when I finished my dinner. They definitely need to upgrade the air conditioning system. And there were various food bits on the floor since the dining room hadn't been swept in a while, perhaps to avoid the heat. Overall a good experience, even though I'll order to go next time.

My son loves Dave’s. We have visited multiple locations. The Ontario location is closest but it has been disappointing, food and portions both disappointing. My son wanted Dave’s after an appt. Boy this location was great, all we had come to expect from Dave’s Hot Chicken. First, not only was the customer service was outstanding that Friday morning, but also the food was great. We like no spice and the flavor is still really good.

They gave me Pan-Bimbo, the seats were a bit uncomfortable. Staff were excellent but the food was not. Save your money, and make sure your GPS is set to Raising Canes. Left Hungry, and now chowing down on a Caniac Combo, WITH a 16oz drink. Staff were Awesome, Quick, and Friendly. However food comes first. I came hungry and left hangry.

I almost NEVER leave reviews but this place gives you a 2oz cup for water? What am I supposed to do with that?? Greedy owners. They also don’t run their AC. I spoke with a local friend and he said it’s always like that, in their Fullerton location too. Spend the money and turn on your AC. If it’s broken then pay to fix it. I’m tired of these businesses trying to milk us for every penny. Support a small business instead and let this chain go under Looks like they replied below with typical corporate speak instead of communicating like an actual human being. I’m sure theres some study in business school that states if you reply it pacifies the people reading the negative review, don’t fall for it people.

Last night I ordered from here. My first time from this location because the other one was closed but I should have just picked a different place. I got 10 Piece (MEDIUM) Meal and the seasoning was as you see in the pic barely any. This is not how you season it. And they gave me a 9 instead of 10 Piece and missed 4 sauces I purchased. They’re after midnight crew needs serious fixing. Other locations 5 Stars but this one ..

I used to love Dave’s Hot Chicken, which is why this has been so disappointing lately. The last two times I ordered from this location the quality has been really poor. Most recently, the chicken on my sandwich was extremely small and thin. It was mostly fried coating with barely any actual chicken, so the sandwich basically tasted like bread, slaw, and crunchy batter instead of chicken. For how expensive the food is, that’s honestly not acceptable. What makes it more frustrating is that this hasn’t just happened once. I’ve had issues before and was told it would be better next time, but the quality still hasn’t improved. At this point I feel like I have to inspect my order before leaving because I’m worried it will be wrong or poorly made. I really like Dave’s when it’s made properly, but repeated experiences like this make it hard to want to come back.
