You won't find very many of these old-school mom n pop dine-in shops like this anymore. Let's Support small businesses and bring your friends. Good food, great portions, good vibes and friendly staff. My meal: chicken strips and fries 🍟
I eat there every day food is great service Is awesome.
Nice place, tasty food, friendly staff, highly recommended!!
I am a truck driver and had to p/u a load near Esperanza Burger , after getting used to high prices , less than decent food , and parking issues , I was pleasantly suprised and happy I was able to stop @ Esperanza Burger , the food was delicious , the prices were decent , and the service was superb , I was helped by Taylor , she went above and beyond , and is an absolute asset to this establishment , thank you and next time I'm in Anaheim I will be stopping at Esperanza Burger again !!
Best burger joint around. Everything I have had there is really good. Gyros are HUGE. We get one breakfast for two of us. I recommend this place to anyone who asks where to eat around town. Great service with friendly people.
Best breakfast burrito I promise. Mike literally takes care of his customers. I come here all the time.
Great food for a very affordable price, I been coming to this place for over 10 years now and the food still great one might say that they need to upgrade the place but in all reality it might be old but it's clean and neat so I don't mind. I will still coming to eat 😁 or placing my order on the phone.
Very nice place clean and serviced very sweet adorable and nice
Great place. Staff was over the top friendly and food was great. Was just visiting family and was suggested to go there. Happy we did.
Placed a to go order with a lot of food and it was ready to pick up in 15-20 min. Food was hot still when I got it home. Burgers, Mexican, French fries and zucchini were all really good. Great spot, owner is great.
Great new owners Mike is very knowledgeable of this food industry.he has shared new menu ideas and I definitely looking to keep coming back good luck to new owner MIKE
Awesome place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner with friends and family. My family and I have been dining here for decades and I still stop by when I’m in town for a quick bit to eat. This is a casual, all American locals diner with good service!
Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS! It’s always hard to decide what to eat. The staff is so nice and helpful and I love how the restaurant is decorated honoring local sports teams with pictures of high school sports teams.
At first I was less than impressed. My first visit I had the breakfast special and the pancakes were eh. Having been back dozens of times I am a fan of most of their food. Patty Melt, Chili Size, and others. I keep going back because it is really good, the staff are friendly, and it is just an all around great local place.
First time here, can’t even lie the burger hit every check on my burger list. Perfect ratio of fries, the ranch was good. Overall 10/10 experience got meet the owner and cracked a few jokes. I would recommend it
I returned to Esperanza Burger after a few months and was fascinated with the service provided by the new owner. The breakfast burrito is very good. I opted for an egg burrito with bacon and ham, delicious!! 100% recommended.
When I was walking in, CHiPs officers Ponch and John were walking out with the Rollerskate Bandit (whom they had, FINALLY, just apprehended). Ponch flashed his pearly whites and said “you’re in the right place, my guy”. With that endorsement, i walked into the sweet 70’s burger spot interior and ordered up a triple Aztec burger with cheese, onion rings, and a glass of water. The Aztec burger is in homage to the local high schools mascot, and it is apparent they heavily support the local high school trans and clubs (which is awesome). Let me say this- the water was in a real glass. My food was delivered on actual plates. The cheese appeared to be cheddar, the bun had a nice little crisp, the Pattie’s cooked perfectly, the cheese melty. The restaurant is clean. The walls, ceilings, ceiling fans, chandeliers, etc are all dust free. The floor was clean. Excellent burger, pretty decent onion rings, great prices, friendly staff. Best burger and burger experience I’ve had in SoCal

“Delicious burgers! The bun was soft and fluffy, the patty juicy and perfectly seasoned, complemented by fresh ingredients that create the perfect balance. Every bite was a burst of flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a great meal. The new owner is super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!”
I hade a jazz fest and the food there was expensive. But only a 7 min Walt and I got good affordable food. The service was incredible despite ot being late. Thank you ezperanza burgers
Very tasty! Taylor (I hope I spelled it right) helped me at the counter. She was very kind and patient with me as it was my first time ordering here. I ordered the quarter pound Cheeseburger and max fries with a cherry coke. The burger was juicy, and the toppings were balanced. The fries were very comparable to animal style fries at in n out, but the fries themselves are thicker. And the cheese was shredded cheddar, not sliced american. Huge portions for what I paid. 10/10 would eat again!
POTTY CHECK- restroom is a single person restroom. It's kinda weard how the door is positioned sideways. I think it's so no one could hear you. FOOD-I ordered the fries with thousand island and grilled onions. Just because it reminded me of In&Outs animal fries. They were good. My buddy had a burger combo and he said it was really good also. Price were reasonable compared to fast food.
I am a breakfast guy. Going far and wide for the perfect meal. Hash browns are particularly good and not greasy. Nicely cooked not burnt. Eggs to a slight positive of when ordered 'over medium'. No runny eggs here. Bacon will come medium if you ask for it. Coffee is hot and neutral, not Peets, but good. Very comfortable place to have a nice breakfast and read your iPad. TV in the background with the local news if you prefer. Ez parking. Overall: recommended.
I used to go to Esperanza burgers when it first open. Did I move to New York. 15 years later I came back. My cousin said I started doing a dinner about 3 years ago. They brought Esperanza burgers one night. brought back memories. I got maybe once a month. The onion rings are killer. The only thing I don't really care for is the fried zucchini. They're little thin, a little bit too much better. If they were thicker I think they would be awesome. Other than that I think everything's great. The only thing is is I called one time and I got put on hold. They never got back to me.
I have 2 words for you… BREAKFAST BURRITO!!! I had to go back a second time because the food is so good. I added carne asada this time and oh man, ate like a king slept like a bear in hibernation!! Highly recommended!!
Love coming here. Found this place a while back and I'm hooked. The food is all good...burgers...sandwiches...breakfast burritos. The onion rings are way better than most burger places. I like the old school vibe and I know you won't be disappointed if you eat here. Service is second to none. Best in the area!

Very nice employees. Gave us free refills of drinks. Food is typical diner. Nothing special but it still hits the spot when you're craving for zucchini, sandwiches or pancakes.
Decent fast food will go there again, very good service. My son and I needed a quick bite to eat, and saw Esperanza Burger. I can't remember what he ate, but I had a chicken sandwich and it was alright.
This place has been here for decades. It's a typical burger joint, serving all of the typical burger joint stuff. Kinda dirty, filled with photos of the local high school sports teams, strangely chosen chandeliers. But they have the best Frisco burger in OC, and are consistently good on everything else. The staff is always friendly.
The food was delicious ! and I loved the Onion rings .
Prices were reasonable and portion size was great compared to the price. This isn't a fancy spot but more if a local spot for the high school kids to get lunch.

This burger spot is a hidden gem with small utdoor seating, perfect for a relaxing meal. Their breakfast burritos are a must try, deliciously packed with fresh ingredients. It’s my favorite place to grab a quick, satisfying breakfast on the way to work. Friendly atmosphere and excellent service every time!
I’ve been coming here since high school and have always enjoyed the food and the excellent service—especially from the morning crew. However, I’ve been really frustrated the past two evenings trying to order dinner for my family. Both times, I showed up around 7:30pm, only to be told they were closed—even though Google and Yelp both say they close at 8:30pm. What made it worse is that the door was still open, and they allowed a customer ahead of me to order, only to tell me, “Sorry, we’re closed,” in a rude tone. If you’re changing your hours, please update them online. I noticed the place is under new ownership—so maybe the hours have changed or employees aren’t being informed properly? Either way, I hope management sees this and makes things clearer going forward. I’d love to keep supporting this place, but it’s frustrating to waste time and gas only to be turned away like that.

Seems like a good place to grab something to eat, the people there are really friendly and the menu looked pretty large. I got a cheeseburger combo, I've had better but that's not enough for a bad rating, because of the customer service I'll go back to try something else there.
Great food but slow service, came here for lunch break and they made our food out of order so we got our food after other people who ordered after us.
A basic burger joint. Lower than average pricing, Decent food Don't expect too much. And don't order the pastrami, small, high price, very little meat, dry
Good good but a little over priced for what you get
Staff are very friendly and quick where it counts. I got the Aztec 1/4 pounder, and it came with fries and ketchup. The burger bun was a little... off... somehow, but the overall burger was tasty and filled my stomach very well. The fries are a bit too soft for my liking, but that's probably a bias. I had to use more ketchup than usual to mask its texture. Overall I still did enjoy the food, it's just not the best. The atmosphere, complete with the Esperanza Aztecs theming to the entire place, is surely unique. And it was a good bargain, turned out less than 6 dollars! Would come again, when in a financial pinch.

Although burgers were good and the owner nice enough - both doors were open and we had to wave away flies at least every three minutes from our table. I was so grossed out by it I couldn’t finish my food. Probably will not be back 😞
The staff was great, the food was good. The table sticky, there were ants all over the wall and the air conditioning was really poor. I think we might take out if we eat there again.
YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED ... I used to go there all the time in high school, my best friend ran the place all the time while the owner was away. 6 years later, I randomly wanted their breakfast burrito. I called ahead with a large order for 10 people. The lady at the counter made me lid all my own drinks, forgot our french fries (after telling us we have everything, had to drive 15 minutes back for fries), she gave us no receipt and then gave us different prices than that on the menu and I was told to call the owner on the next day. He gave me more expensive different prices. Was charged $177.68 .. added everything by both the lady and then the owners prices and it was only $167.78 AFTER ADDING TAX. Owners prices (Different prices from lady at counter also posted) Pastrami Chilli cheese fries - $14 each 2 sausage burritos- $8.50 each Chilli cheese fries - $6.39 (was $5.99, but if you want cheese on Chilli cheese fries owner says it is now $6.39) Small fries - $2.99 (Refunded one after having to go back) Patty Melt - $5.79 Club - $10.75 5 bacon - $8.50 each 6 ranch - $.75 each 8 horchata - $2.80 each TOTAL BEFORE TAX: $154.28 AFTER TAX (Rounded up): $168.00 OVER CHARGE OF: $9.68
Used to always go here......loved it. But this morning I go and ask for extra crispy onion rings and let them know they were not crunchy at all. The owner calls me and harasses me about. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Who does that????? And an omelette and onion rings cost 18 bucks
TERRIBLE - I will never eat here again 1 of 2 things will happen either the portions have shrank in half or the prices seem to double from that of their menu. And obviously the owner foamy care about money or customer service cause it doesn't even faze him to lose another customer.
This place can use a deep clean I'm just wondering which one of the above fixtures will drop a piece of dust or dirt into my food it's that bad That's funny is everywhere look up. Cleanliness is not important in the dining area so probably isn't important in the cooking area either
Worst pastrami sandwich I've ever had!!! I asked the man who took my order (whom I believe is the owner), "how much for a pastrami sandwich" he replies "$11.50, best price you'll find anywhere, some places are $17-18, just ridiculous.". So I get the combo for $15. Well now I know why it's so cheap! Sandwich had to be maybe 6 inches long, thin and with hardly any meat. Plus the meat was almost burnt! Very disappointed!!!
The absolute worst place EVER! Should’ve noticed that it wasn’t going to be good the minute we arrived and noticed the empty parking lot. I never give bad reviews but had to make time to write this out because of the poor service we received. The manager or might have seemed like the owner, but he was absolutely rude and aggressive! He told us that they close at 8:30 pm but we understood that we would be leaving right at that time. When our food came out I asked for 2 ranch and 2 thousand islands and the server shouted at me that it was a dollar each and nothing is free! As a person that has worked in the food service industry, his presence was certainly not kind or generous and I’ve never felt treated so poorly in my entire life. Since we didn’t want to sit inside the establishment, we went outside to try to enjoy our food and get some privacy. After a moment while we were eating I felt like water started hitting us and when I turned around one of the other workers started spraying the patio with a water pressure so I stood up and scouted at him to turn it off or at least give us some time to move but he just kept continuing and we had no choice but to rush to eat. As I was trying to finish my meal, I got up to go get a refill and when I was returning back to our table the workers completely turned off all the lights right when I sat down and it wasn’t even 8:30 yet. This was just a complete disgrace and disaster! I definitely don’t suggest anybody going to this unprofessional place with no good customer service. Also, later on that night I started feeling unwell and felt really sick to my stomach and nauseous. Just avoid going there if you don’t want to be disappointed, this will be the first and the last time I step foot there✌️
Been here 2 or 3 times. Kept telling myself that the owner or whoever that rude, unfriendly person who took my order and brought the food out was that he was just having a bad day or his personality was less than stellar. That may have worked but he was that way each time I went. The nail in the coffin was the awful food. One time I ordered biscuits and gravy. Sat down at a booth and waited...and waited....and waited....nearly 25 minutes transpires before that person walks out and tells me their biscuits are moldy and I have to order something else. Good Lord I am so done with that place. I am a patient person who will give places more than enough chance to redeem themselves but this place is irredeemable to the core. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE. The owner despises you if you are not one of the regulars that he is actually nice to.
The worst eating experience of my life. Im incredibly patient. Closing time says 8:30 here, 10:00 on yelp. We walked in at 8, the owner gave us lots of attitude when taking our order and told us that they were closing at 8:30 that day. We sat outside so that we wouldn't disrupt their closing duties. An employee comes outside and starts spraying the outside walls of the building with a hose. We kept getting wet so we let them know and we moved, but they still continued, just more carefully but we were still getting really wet. At 8:25 the lights outside shut off and we were literally sitting in the dark eating our food. I got up and asked why they shut the lights off, but the owner simply said, "Sorry, nothing I can do, closing time guys." It wasn't even 8:30 yet. I'm super considerate and wouldn't stay eating somewhere passed closing time, but on yelp it says 10:00 and he told us 830. The owner was rude, and wanted us out. It felt like he couldn't care less. We felt forced out of that place and we aren't people who stay passed closing, we know people have lives to get to. I'm shocked that this is how they treat people. I wanted to give this place a chance and now my girlfriend won't let me choose places to eat. Last night I felt fine, but she threw up at home, so please be careful eating here. I hope they treat people better in the future. Beware.
Don't let the parking lot renovations fool you. The owner will still treat you like he doesn't want you there. Only catering to the "locals" he can recognize while everyone else gets aggression. Evolve already. PS: Cook and all cashiers have been awesome but are probably not appreciated. Xmas Bonus!!!!!
