At Los Alazanes, we're passionate about serving up traditional Mexican flavors 24/7, with a side of Southern California hospitality. Our counter-serve operation offers a convenient drive-thru experience for those on-the-go, but don't be fooled – our tacos, burritos, and other beloved dishes are made fresh to order, just like abuela used to make. Los Alazanes is a popular spot for late-night Mexican food, especially the asada fries and wet burritos. Customers praise the generous portions, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Some recent reviews mention inconsistent food quality and order errors.
Tip: They are open late, so it's a great spot for midnight munchies. Asada fries are a popular choice, and some say they are best with the tortilla at the bottom.

Best place for cardne asada fries! I Only downside is the rise in prices. I remember a time whe it was under $10 Hint: they are cheaper on door dash.
Love the food here! Best Mexican food in OC 🤍
Quick service restaurant. Food was very good and prices reasonable.
This place offers a variety of dishes to choose from. However, in my opinion, the best thing they have is their came asada fries. Not only is the order very large, but it comes in a giant flour tortilla instead of wax paper so you can put down your fork and finish the meal off as a burrito. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Really good breakfast. Homemade and fresh. My kids are picky and like to take out portions and add other things. They maid everything the way we special ordered it with no problems. Will come back again.
Food top tier, portions huge, service outstanding. Prices are a bit high but portions and quality definitely make up for it
I've been going to this location since 2005. Never let me down once. Food is great.
This place has got some great Mexican food and it's open just about always so you can't really go wrong. The prices are reasonable. It's just there is always a line in the drive thru because its so good.
One of my favorites as far as fast food goes, I'm particularly partial to the carnitas fries, they definitely give a hearty portion
Try the Carne Asada fries they are the bomb! Get their salsa roja and smother those fries. The portion is enough to feed 3people. Prices are decent and portions are huge. Service is fast!
I've been coming here for three years now. I wouldn't say it's a five star restaurant but for the prices and amount, the food is really great! From my experience, it's way better than Alberto's. My family comes here almost every weekend!
I just had the biggest burrito ever a beef taco and horchata $22 dlls decent prices.. food was so good and the horchata delicious!! Definitely coming back
Food is good. They're open 24-7 and have a drive through so on those late nights that you're craving tacos or a burrito, but you don't want to get out of your car, this is the perfect place.
Food always fantastic. I love their tacos. I cant eat spicey so, I get a side of enchilada sauce. It's delicious. Could use a little updating.
I’m glad I came thru to try this place out, it was definitely worth stopping by. Their enchiladas were way better compared to Athenian Burger #4. It’s surely hard to find a restaurant who serves you good enchilada’s dish.
Place is pretty good food wise I have the California burrito and it hit the spot for sure and cool thing about this place is its 24 hours so you can get it late night if needed
Is it 3 am and you cant find anything to eat? Look no further. The most reliable late night place in the area. This place is always reliably open and true to their business hours. I love the fish taco combination plate, and it's my usual go-to. Their carne asada plates are delicious as well. I've gone to multiple other "24 hour" places only to be told they're closed, under maintenance, or not serving food; not Los Alzanes. They are always open and I haven't had an issue in the years I've been going here.
I frequent the drive thru here, generally at 2am, they handle the orders fast, give great portions, are open 24 hours, and best of all, do it with a smile on their face. You can almost taste the love. 15 years I've been coming here and never am disappointed. Thanks los alzanes! Shout out to the carnitas fry, that I turn into 3 burritos, and still have left overs. 👍🙃👾💖
I've only had the chicken flautas and they were amazing. There were 3 of them For about $7 dollars and they were delicious.
With all the choices around, I LOVE this place the Best! Authentic, affordable and even has a nice indoor dining area too.
Delicious and nice employees. Thank you!
This place smacks. I miss their Sierra Mist, it was always crisp and perfect. RIP Sierra Mist. Anyway, the carnitas tacos *chefs kiss*. The chips? So fresh. They're open 24/7 so they'll hit the spot all day every day.
I've been coming here since this particular spot used to be a Taco Bell! The price is fair for the hearty portions you'll be getting. Honestly I don't think there's a "small" item on the menu. Try the Supreme Nachos! Perfect for when you're in a rush or when you need a fast food fix.
Love their chicken flautas. Everything we have tried there has been delicious. They are open 24hrs. Matter of fact I've never seen them closed. Even on some of the holidays. They are not stingy with anything. Love the guacamole.
Amazing authentic Mexican food for cheap prices and they have huge portions for their prices! Would recommend to any and everybody to try at least once! The employees could use an attitude adjustment and should try to treat some of the younger customers with a little bit more respect.
We have lived by this restaurant for almost ten years and have never gone. We have been missing out! I got the Chile relleno burrito and it was huge and extremely flavorful. Truly one of the best burritos I've ever had. My son got the carne asada fries and he liked them except the fries were way too crunchy. My husband got the two burrito combo and had no complaints. We called our order in and it was ready super fast. We will definitely be going back!
Great service, good fresh food. Big portions and not too expensive. The chips are crisp, the salsas are good. Definitely recommend! Open late too!
So very delicious. First time I ate inside. We always drive thru. Good that way too! Family owned, family feel. I love everything & I live close too!!! How great for me.
This place is truly a hidden gem. Ive been living over one year near this resto and I didn’t know until i saw coworkers getting food late at night and they recommended here. I love Mexican food as long aa its not spicy
best wet burrito I ever had it was a little pricey but it was a huge burrito and it was worth all my money
My other favorite place too order from. People r friendly, efficient.
Carnita Super Nachos huge! Easily good for two. Lots of meat!! The Carne asada fries big as well. I bit dry but tasty and enough to share. BIG menu. Definitely be back.
First time eating here today. My husband and I were looking for some quick food that was not burgers and found this spot. Went through the drive thru and I ordered the asada fries and my husband ordered a chile relleno burrito with al pastor meat. Both were super delicious. We will definitely be coming back. Did not take pictures because we devoured as soon as we got home lol.
I love this place the asada tacos are $5.25 but have double tortilla so you actually get two big asada tacos , the horchata tastes just right not too sweet not too much cinnamon just right, I love that they don't have loud music the volume is just like it should be in a restaurant, the best of all is that they are open 24 hrs on drive thru and dining room is open until 1am.
I haven't been on this side of town for awhile, hubby wanted a really good breakfast burrito and I remembered this place. Walked in and it was empty but the drive thru had 4 cars. It was clean and comfortable. We were greeted and then we preceded to order. I got the carne asada fries and hubby ordered the #6 breakfast burrito with ham, bacon, eggs, cheese and fries. Everything was fresh and hot! Hubby couldn't hold the burrito for how hot it was 😜. The fries were nice and crispy and they were regular size thin, the meat was tender, and I asked for extra onions and cilantro, it also came with shredded cheese mixed yellow and white, sour cream and guacamole. The best part...... They put a large flour tortilla under it so once it gets down to a reasonable size you can wrap it up like a burrito or this is what I did tear off pieces and grab the fries and eat it that way. The fish was grande, the two of us shared one order, if it were me by myself it would've taken me 3 days to eat all of that🤣. They have green and red salsas which are flavorful, the red has a kick but taste really good with the food. They're open late so when you have that craving at 11pm at night head on over. As you can see from the pics you will be full and smiling.
Wanted to stay close to the hotel we were staying at and found this gem. The food is EXCELLENT and quite inexpensive for how much you get! The service was fast and the food is absolutely delicious. Up there with some of the best Mexican restaurants we have been to. Will definitely visit again.
Dude, their taco tuesday deal is great!! I got their shredded chicken tacos, $1.90 each. They have so much shredded chicken meat in this hard shell taco. I got 2 of them and I'm hella full!! They give you alot of lettuce but there wasn't much cheese. Although the taco meat was really good, I wish their hot sauce wasn't so watered down. But overall, I would definitely go back again for these tacos and I would definitely be willing to try something else on their menu. Thanks for a great experience and the great shredded chicken tacos!!! 99
This place is great. The nacho burrito this something I would recommend for everyone to try. This place is open 24 hours a day you can either go through the drive-thru or dine in all in all great place to eat Mexican food.
I always get the Al pastor Fries. Friggin amazing, if you haven't tried it, try it. It's way better than Albert tacos, but I r thing they do have over Los Alazanes is their Habenero sauce. If they get something spicier then they would have them beat.
My wife and I stopped in here for a late lunch. This is a nice restaurant with a pleasant interior. You order at the counter and they call your number so you can pick up your food when it is ready. My wife and I each had the taquito plate, which was very tasty. I don't know if they are made in the restaurant but they were very good. We liked this restaurant and would not hesitate to go back. The condiments were very tasty (peppers, etc.) and the salsa picante was just spicy enough. We paid $14.98 for both of our meals, and we just had water. A good deal!
My taquitos were good.
Although the service ,food was fantastic, the Dinning room is very outdated, worn, not cozy, because or the delicious meals this Location keeps flourishing with a steady flow of customers, great job , excellent salsas, service and most importantly food 🥑
Los Alazanes is kinda hoody (ghetto-fabulous) but the food is filling, big proportions and they are open 24-hrs with a drive thru. Can't beat that!! Just don't go there for the view. The staff have always been kind and proficient in doing their jobs and getting the food to you fast. They serve breakfast ALL day and have BOMB Carne Asada Fries!! And as I said earlier... 24-hrs!! They are a go to when you have the munchies! Or after leaving the bar at 2am.
The food is good and the girl at the window was nice. The restaurant has been there a long time, could use a little work. But if it works why change it
I've been going here since I was a kid; it's solidly delicious and portions are good. Great convenience with 24-hr service drive through. I have fond memories of the California burrito and the pickled condiments and salsa bar at the front near the register.
Good food. Food is actually made fresh so the wait time is a bit longer than your average drive thru. Customer service is good. The drive thru and parking are very cramped and usually there is a few cars there so you are better off taking your order home. The drive thru driveway is very narrow so enter with caution. I recommend the Churros. They taste pretty darn good.
Only one visit to review by so I will limit it. Beef taco and cheese enchilada plate. Taco was good, a little dry but still had flavor. Sauces they give are of a good flavor especially the green though warm if hot is not your thing. Enchilada was also good. Not great and a little salty. The rice and beans are a surprise. Not like grandma's but a better example of a fast food offering. There are restaurants i will simply not go because of the poor quality of the rice and beans. Carne asada tacos are large, good flavor and well made. 2 notes: Tacos are large, they do not skip on filling. Drive through is a long line but moved well. Will definitely try again.
I had my order delivered. food was fine cept they forgot to put in the 2 flavors of hot sauce that I asked for....Made the meal kinda bland tasting. Not happy
There Aguas frescas are double on uber eats. They charge you 3.25 for a drink + another 3.25 for medium and 4.50 for large. So total your paying 7.50 for a large drink.
Not sure if this is a typical experience since it was our first time, but they were soooo slow. That usually wouldn't bother me much, but the burritos were stone cold by the time we got home. Not lukewarm...stone cold. Also, the carne asada was very hard and over cooked to the point of being hard as a rock. It was a shame because the burritos had a good balance of fillings with lots of avocado. Maybe we caught them shorthanded or having an off day?
Prices of food is good. There is a rude cashier girl in there, the overweight one and the chorizo burrito breakfast had too much chorizo not enough egg and not enough beans. Low class feeling in there.
Owner or supervisor of this place . When you hire someone make sure they like the job . Apparently Leslie doesn’t sound or looks like she likes her job . I always come and go through the and it’s usually the men who take my order and give me my food . When you put young adults girls to work for you make sure they like their job . Next time I go and when I order through the drive thru, if I hear female voice , I’ll just drive through and order down the street . It’s hard to support business when the staff is not nice . I went on 6/9/24 @ 2:51 pm .
Food was great but the girl that works drive through was the worst. Didn't say one word to us and had the worst attitude. We asked for extra condiments and she basically through them in my boyfriend's hand. He said thank you and she slammed the window in his face. So rude!
I used to come to this restaurant all the time and never had an issue until yesterday. I had a really bad experience with the guy taking orders in the afternoon (around 3:30–4:00 PM). I’m not sure why he seemed upset, but the interaction felt very rude. Since it’s a Mexican restaurant, I spoke Spanish when ordering, and that seemed to bother him a lot. When I asked to add beans to my order, he rolled his eyes and threw the contactless payment device on the counter, which felt very disrespectful. This experience was disappointing because I usually come at night, and the staff then are much nicer. I hope this was just a one-time issue, but it definitely made me uncomfortable.
The only reason we came here was because of a recommendation from my brother. He enjoys it, me and my wife did not, pricey and low quality food. Open 24 hours so if your drunk I can see the attraction otherwise just hit up Tacos De Anda for bomb tacos and burritos
Ordered a bean and cheese burrito, and three taquitos with quacomole and cheese, think it would be similar to other ALBER*** taco fast food places, I either had a sudden and fleeing attack of the COVID-19, or there was some serious missing flavor, neither salsa/chile or salt helped, just no flavor, I can say I tried it, I'm done.
Very fast-foody. Most of the people who work here are short with me and rude and don't give me the salsa I request when in drive through or not enough if it. I do indulge here and there, but too much of their food makes me sick. Mary is a cashier.. she's fantastic. The others are so so. Upset that they made their green sauce extra spicy as well.. it used to be mild.
Carne asada plate was way over cooked. Beans had zero flavor. California burrito and super fries were ok. I guess it's better when you are drunk and its 3 am?
Really don't know what happened here. 12.50 for carne asada fries now when the board says 9.50?? Fries weren't cooked and came out soggy. Salsas are watered down and not sure what their clumpy sour cream is. 2 stars for nostalgia since I've been coming here since 2007.
We have eaten at this restaurant for more than 12 years. Today we went in for takeout dinner. It was by far the absolute worst meal we've ever had. Not just one plate, both meals were bad. Did it change ownership??
On 06/17/2022, I ordered the Torta combo. I got home and I had two tacos with beans and rice, instead of a Torta. This is the second time, my order was incorrect. The time I ordered a beef burrito and came home and a all bean burrito. SMH
I used to come here all the time for the Carne Asada fries. it was open late and I loved having the tortilla on the bottom but this was a long time ago and I usually came here for a late night munchies because I was drunk coming back now it’s definitely not as good but it was a quick fix. I got the tres leches, it wasn’t great. The fries weren’t as good as I remembered, but the satisfied me for the day. I probably won’t be back for a while.
I got beef taquitos, or roll tacos whatever they call them, on the menu picture shows them with lettuce, didn’t came with lettuce, each taquito comes with a few pieces of meat, it was roll tortillas with like an ounce of meat. 1 oz of salsa, one oz of meat
We waited 15 minutes for our food. We get back home which is down the street and our nachos are soggy. The worst nachos I have ever had.
This place has horrible customer service and the food is sub par at best. Doesn't taste very authentic. But so far that's pretty general for orange county.
The food is good but they up charge prices. I came here 4 times each time price changed for the exact same thing. No thank you I can’t support thieves. Those women know what they are doing
I order a carnitas burrito the Pico de Gallo was sour. Got a red and green salsa the red one about to go bad ..never coming here again .just spend 15.00 burrito and soda for my tummy acke
Went in no hi nothing from the cashier and the cashier completely ignored me. She even went by me to get some stuff, never acknowledged me or told me that she would be with me. She had a short Bob and was wearing a hat. Very rude. She even let someone cut in front of me. I waited about 3-4 minutes before I left. She never took My order
nasty fish tacos bitter and more greens. huge but nasty they just lowered their quality bought beef tacos, unappetizing! Breakfast tacos I just bought today for 10usd is not good and just full of eggs!!!! 2 small tacos for almost 10usd??? what?!
I have been eating at Los Alzanes regularly for more than 10 years. In the past I've had no complaints, it's conveniently located to me and the food is satisfactory. I left the state for 2 years upon arrival back in California my first order of business was me pulling up on my motorcycle at 2 am and ordering Al pastor fries and nowhere else than los alzanes. They were burnt! No biggie I figured it was a simple mishap a few days later I ordered them again... Burnt.... And 2 more times since all burnt. Today I went in ordered a shrimp burrito for more than $8 I had 3 pieces of small shrimp laid in a burrito stuffed 99% with lettuce. I give up I'm not your customer anymore. Ps. I'm not one to complain and this is only my second review I've ever written on here.
their menu says 1 price, they charge you more at the cashier, and then the bank charge comes out to be more than that. they seem to be doing this to every customer. Straight. Up. Fraud. not to mention their food isn't even that great. Albertacos, a nearby mexican place, is a million times better. avoid this place at all costs.
Very sad, first time coming here with my wife, got the breakfast burrito added beans for 95 cents more? Still dry and bland flavor. Wife ordered the asada burrito with beans and rice was just as bland. Not good tasting food no flavor.
I ordered the Super Burrito, but instead I got a chicken burrito. Normally I wouldn't mind a small mistake, maybe they misunderstood me, but the burrito was unbelievably bad. I couldn't finish it. I even gave a bit of the chicken to my dog, and she threw up a few minutes later which she never does. Will update if I get sick too.
Terrible. Rude when I called(I didn't ask for her name regretfully), unapologetic and very non accommodating. They had the nerve to tell me I couldn't operate an electric vehicle through the drive through. If you wish to lose service and disrespect customers then I guess that is the business model. Will never recommend anyone here, ever. Shame on this place.
Poor service and food, just ate there the other night burrito al pastor was disgusting dripping with grease and meat was dry and actually crunchy. Raised prices on burritos 75 cents to 6.50 with a drink almost 10.00 wasted. I asked about the price increase and was told they had to raise prices due to minimum wage increase to 10 ph from 9ph seams ridiculous it only takes 5 min to make a burrito and 75 cents increase doesnt add up. I like the spot on valley view and ball better now. There prices are more normal and food is much better.
The burrito was nasty Carne Asada was hard crispy and sweet. I thought it was an Asian restaurant.
I ordered one for sandwich beff I was so nice with the cashier when I eat, my sandwich was too much salsa and tomato. I was not request too much salsa ultimatum in my sandwich. My sandwich was so bad. I ask her please you know for next time give me credit for the sandwich. The one you make it for me and you say no I cannot help you. You already eat the sandwich you need to bring the sandwich and we can give you credit. I say I eat. I eat the sandwich, but my sandwich was not correctly and I remove a lot tomato sauce in the sandwich and she tried to fight food for me for $10. It’s not worth it. I am Customer there for years. I never have any problem with this Switzerland only today and this lady she fighting with me. She say I’m the boss I’m fighting fighting so she have no respect for Customer. She’s not Nise all she so try to be smart for $10 is so shame to the restaurant
Bad carne asada burrito, they put pico de gallo and guacamole the problem is that they put it out of a refrigerator because it makes the burrito cold and not a good taste, sorry but i didnt like it
I like the food here, it can get pricey but I’m not coming back ever again. I ordered enchiladas alone and told the cashier that in the drive through. When I got to the window they tried to charge me for the full meal. I said I just wanted the enchiladas by them selves. She was so rude to me and demanded I pay for the full meal. First off that’s ghetto, I feel like they spit in my food. I’m never coming back. I couldn’t see spit anywhere but if a place makes you feel like that, don’t go back. Especially during a pandemic:
Sadly this place has gone downhill, the food use to be great with 50/50 service. Now service and food have both downgraded. Mulitiple times they mess up the order, which would be okay if they didn't get mad that you want them to fix it and give you what you ordered in the first place. For the price, quality is not there. They have changed how much they care about the food they make yet continue to raise the price. It is sad what this place has become. Covid or not, quality should be there. If the order got messed up, a sorry is the easiest thing to do. The owners should really rethink what is happening and fix it, especially when there's so many better options within a block of their restaurant.
This was the worst carne asada burrito I have ever had. The meat was dry and tasteless. Almost like eating card board. The rolled tacos were not crispy as they should be. This place was good in the early 2000s. I will never eat food from this place again.
Hands down the worst breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Got steak and egg and that’s all it was. Steak and egg. No cheese, no onion, not even salt and pepper. I will not eat there again.
Awful service. Ordered several of #3 and #6 burritos. All were different. Some had beans and #3 or #6 do not have beans. Some had no potatoes and both #3 & #6 included potatoes(fries). Also had a couple of the #3 burritos that had ham and beans instead of bacon and potatoes! It's hard to mess up such a simple order...
I ate a cheese enchilada and beef taco combo a few nights ago ... I woke up at 5a.m vomiting all over the place and I was not sick before or after I ate that food and then threw it up. Once it was out of my system I was fine so it was DEFINITELY from this disgusting place. DO NOT EAT THIS. Maybe it was a one-off kind of thing but I get the impression it's a filthy kitchen with dirty cooks!
Can’t believe the los Alazanes call the restaurant Mexican food!! I went there and order some taquitos with beans and rice!!! When i got home!! I ipen my plate and was flour tortillas with chicken inside!!! I order beef taquitos!! So disappointed of the service and the food!! The same person the take your money cook and prepare the food!!!
