This is a huge place for exotic fish. I always take my girls to go see the huge verify of sea life. They have all of your needs if you're ready to start a new hobby or just add one more to your collection.
Unbelievable how much stuff you can shove into a store. This place has it all for fish! Not to mention their incredible selection of fish. I'll definitely be back when I have my next tank ready
The have a nice selection at reasonable prices. The big lady was rude and didn't say more than two words when we asked a couple of questions. Bad people skills. At least say thank you. She must be a relative of the owner or they would've fired her a long time ago.
Been going over 4 years now they alway have the best fish some fish will just look at you but they really good price i pefer here over petsmart and pet co.
Very helpful and wouldn't sell me sick fish which is good. They had such a awesome selection of fish and plants. It was totally worth driving an hour here just for their rummy nose tetras and Panda cories!
Just started using CO2 in one of my tanks and they were extremely helpful and kind with their recommendations. Walked away with a complete CO2 system which I’m so happy with. If you’re looking for a great fish store with kind and experienced fish people this is your place!
The Reef is a great fish place wether you are new to the hobby or an expert. One of the best things about the place is the customer service you will receive from J. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and J knows his stuff. He gives great advice and loves to help out. Id give this place 6 stars if i could.
I love this shop. Very helpful and wide selection of beautiful fish. Best fish store in orange county. You will always see the owner and his wife, working side by side, helping you select the best fish for you.
This place had exactly what I'd been relentlessly searching for. After calling about 15 or so other aquarium/fish supply stores, I luckily found Reef Tropical Fish!! They told me they had the product I was seeking... I promptly drove there & the man, who's the store owner I believe, knew right away who I was when I walked in asking where I'd find this product. He grabbed it off the shelf & straight away rang me up at the register. In & out in a flash w/efficient & speedy service. You can't beat that. I'll be back there 1st, whenever I'm needing more aquarium related items!
I went to 4 different fish store. None of them comparing to this one meet any standard. The variety of fish and supplies is in point. Employees are very knowledgeable in all the fish. I'm going to this place from now on.
Store owner takes very good care of these fish and has a solid understanding of what is required to keep tropical fish looking there best. If it weren’t so far from me I would only go here and to no other establishment.
This is hands down the best fish shop I've been to and I've been to about all of them in socal. Very helpful and informative here. Good prices and always healthy fish. They have all the best fish food and other products you need. Only fish shop I recommend
Always have a great selection of fish reasonably priced. Good selection of accessories, meds, foods, aquariums, substrate, well basically everything you need and then some for aquariums. Always a great selection of African cichlids.
Exactly what I was looking for! Had many of the fish I was looking for in stock, and a vast array of hardscape as well- saw 3-4 different types of rock as well as multiple sizes of spider wood and mopani wood. Not just a couple, but enough to look through and have a decent selection. I only do freshwater, so my review is from that perspective, but they also had a significant saltwater presence. Basically one aisle saltwater, one cichlids, one more freshwater fish. Staff was friendly but not overbearing. Highly, highly recommend.
Great fish store! One of the best in Orange County! Wonderful selection of tropical fish and plants. Prices are great as well. Family run place, and they are very helpful. I would recommend anyone to come here.
This is one of my favorite tropical fish stores . I live 30 miles away! it's not the closest shop to me but it's worth the drive . All of the staff members are very knowledgeable about the hobby and are always happy to share wisdom and answer questions . The selections never disappoints , and all of the fish always look happy and healthy. This is best store to purchase an arowana. The reef always have the top quality fish that cant be found anywhere else. Correction you may be able to find these fish at other stores but the quality of the fish cannot be compared . And they have the best deals on live food . Meal worms , ghost shrimp, minnows .
So many varieties of freshwater plants, aquascaping materials, tanks, supplies, fish and shrimps, I could spend hours here. Very knowledgeable staff, super friendly! I got my pea puffers today and each and every single stock tank they had was super clean and all live animals looked healthy and vibrant. I will be coming here from now on for my aquarium needs.
Great family owned location that specialize in aquarium care and sell healthy aquatic life. Jay was extremely helpful and was willing to explain everything we needed to know to get our aquarium cycle started. So much so that I wanted to give him more business. Unfortunately we only have a 10 gallon aquarium for our young children, but I am sure in the near future we will get a far more serious system from him!
Shop owner is very knowledgeable and truly cares about the fish, rather than just business. He advised us on how to proceed and how many fish we can buy based on a new tank set up. Overall, very satisfied.
I bought my stand here for my 90 Gallon Tank at the recommendation of my daughter who got her stand, tank, and fish here. The owner worked with me and was very helpful and professional. He gave me a discount for coming in, and I will be there today to purchase another stand if he has one that works with my new corner 100 Gallon. The only reason I don't do more fish buying there is I live about 30 miles from the store.
I love this store. It's my one stop shop for all my fish. They have a great selection of both salt and fresh water fish and reasonable prices. They have awesome live plants that thrive any time I add them to my tank. Great store. Great employees.
Great selection of products to go with your aquarium. The selection of fish was also really nice, each row is grouped together based on the type of aquarium you will be keeping, from nano fish, to fancy goldfish, freshwater and saltwater and beautiful coral. It will make you want 5 different tanks.
They have so many fish to pick and they are high quality and way better than petco. I also like how there fish tanks and other supplies for sale and also in good price as well
The Reef is one of my go-to places for re-stocking my tanks. The fish are healthy and vibrant. The tanks are clear and well maintained. The Father/Son duo who run it are very knowledgeable in fish keeping. They are very helpful🙂
My spouse and I have been coming here for years and they have the best selection of healthy fish in the greater LA area. We have been able to find rare plecos and other fish we were looking for. The owner and staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable helping with any issue or question we have had. I recommend and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking to start or already a hobbist.
This place is well stocked with many cichlids of all variations and types and sizes. There's of course other freshwater fish discuss, arowanas, Dempsey's you get the point. They have a good assortment of supplies to take care of your tank needs. And for those into the salt there's a whole wall of live reef Coral to choose from. They are very nice and are willing to answer any and all of your questions when it comes to your fish tank needs. Check them out definitely worth stopping in.
This is the best Fish & Supplies Store in Southern California. Very nice & real people, had manner and never took advantage to customers. A lot of different salt & fresh water fish and its supplies. I'd been in a 7 Fish & supplies stores, but all of them are not recommendable to Friends & to the Public. Since I found this store I'd never went to other store. I'm not lying to you guys, you can go there and see for it. "To See Is To Believe"
One of the best stores around for corals. Not a huge selection, but nice variety, good prices and excellent quality.
One of the best LFS in Orange County! The freshwater selection is amazing, all sorts of nano fish, cichlids, inverts, community, goldfish, loaches, etc. All sorts of harder to find fish are readily available here and even better they will ship in species you are looking for if they can. Hardscape selection is great, they regularly restock new inventory so I'm always able to find a nice seiryu stone I visit. The plant section is decent, they have the general easy plants to keep such as crypts, anubias, and select stem plants. Overall I highly recommend anyone in the freshwater side of the hobby make a trip out.
Great variety of fresh and salt water fish, and everything you need to enjoy them and keep them healthy and happy. Good service. Good prices. Lots of feeding items like blood worms and ghost shrimp that can be hard to get elsewhere.
This is a great tropical fish store with a huge selection of both fresh and saltwater fish. They also have lots of corals, rock, branches, tanks, filters, plants and everything else you might need. Jay is very friendly and knowledgeable.
This place is great for any aquarium enthusiast salt water or fresh. They have so many options of shrimp fish and aquatic plants. They also have a VERY large variety of tanks. The staff is knowledgable and will guide you through what you need to build your tank set up.
Amazing stock and great variety of fish. I'm located way further inland, but so glad I stopped here. Lots of variety of fresh fish too which not a lot of stores specialize in. You won't be sorry you came!
The person that worked there was so helpful and sincerely wanted to help. I had a great experience and their tanks were really clean. The prices seemed very reasonable as well.
Been coming here since 2012 and this store easily has the healthiest fish in the OC area. The selection is pretty good as well. I’ve never had any problems with the fish I’ve purchased here. This place is definitely one of my go-to’s
Great fish store, professional owner and very classy. whenever I'm in the area I always try to stop in even if it's just to buy something small to help support this mans business. Honest and hard-working. Lots of good variety for all your fish needs.
This is a nice small family-run store. Pretty nice selection of freshwater plants and fish Nice range of marine fish as well. This store really gets busy at times. If you're patient the the staff will take all the necessary time to help you. Staff offer solutions to your problems if you ask the right questions.
Been going here for a few years now. Great selection of healthy fish, owner is both knowledgeable and kind. Store is clean and prices are reasonable. Best place to buy you fish in Orange County.
My favorite fish store!! I've been coming back here for almost a year for my fish needs. I few months ago my betta fish got sick and none of the big pet supply chains have good medication. This store is really stocked on anything you would need for your fish! I've bought live plants here too and it's the best quality i've ever seen!! The employees are always so helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend 👍
Only decent tropical fish store in North Orange County. Fish are excellent, tanks are immaculate and the stock every food, medication, filter etc always. Owner is very nice. Been coming here for many years and I will continue. Highly Recommended.
Good local fish store, lots of cichlids and freshwater fish. They have a reef section, but I don’t really know about saltwater fish. Prices are a bit high, but not out of line for SoCal. Also, if you take fish to trade in or sell, the credit they give is very low.
I have been going here for years. Its always nice to talk to some one with so much experience. I love to just stop in and see all the fish and all the different kinds of fish not in pet smart or other fish stores. This store is awesome. Kids are in shock when they get to see so many awesome fish. They love it there too. Keep doing what your doing we will be back. Thank you
This is one f the better tropical fish stores in OC. I have e a freshwater planted tank and have to say that their selection of nano fish can’t be beat. All their fish always look healthy every time i visit, and the prices are good too. They also have a decent amount of hard scape and aquarium equipment as well.
First time in today. Great store. Nice coral selection. Tons of freshwater fish. Tanks were clean and everything looked healthy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Will be going back soon. Highly recommend.
They are always efficient and offer a good selection of freshwater plants/livestock, lots of other products, saltwater livestock, etc. Prices are decent. I used to go to a smaller store and switched to the Reef a couple years ago. Definitely recommend.
Every time HI go into this store, "T", owner always greets me with a great smile and asks "how are you". His store is so well stocked with tanks, and everything you need for your tank. "T" is so helpful in helping you decide what food, chemical or need you need to improve your tank. His display tanks are always so full of beautiful fish and live coral. His prices are very good and does not take advantage of your wallet.o I love going back to this store even just to browse. Paul Edwards
Helpful staff, knowledgeable. They made sure I didn't buy the more expensive if the few fish I wanted today because it wouldn't be compatible with the pH in my tank. I've had other LFSs tell me it was ok. Glad I came here instead. Reasonable prices. Nice wood pieces, good variety. Great variety of freshwater fish.
Awesome shop, I'm from the IE and the attention to detail in the tanks was very nice to see, the rest of the shop was on par with most ma and pa style fish shops, they were cooling the place with wet rags over the fan, old school!! The freshwater tanks were immaculate and healthy, good selection, decent prices. I'm definitely coming back. Plus they had a clean bathroom. Cool.
I've been going to this store for a little over a year. The owner is the nicest man I've ever encountered at a fish store. Any questions I have he has the answer to and explains his response very thoroughly. All of my fish I've bought from him have always been in excellent condition and health. I've been to dozens of fish stores and this is my favorite! Check it out for yourself and you will no doubt agree!
I was actually blown away by how clean and algea free their tanks were!!! I haven’t seen such clean tanks in a while! All the fish were housed with proper fish to cohabitate with, and I didn’t see ANY dead fish in the tanks! Super reasonable prices!!! The guy running the store seems to genuinely care about the fish and even said he tries to make sure customers have proper housing for the fish that get huge. I will definitely be making this my go to fish area in the OC, such an amazing experience!!!
Was very pleasantly surprised. The name doesn't reflect what is actually inside. Name comes from 1960's. Although they have a very good selection of salt-water fish and supplies, their collection of cichlids and other fresh-water fish is exceptional. Spoke to both Owner & Owner's son and found them very helpful, nice and friendly. I plan to go back many times. Prices were fair and reasonable. I would certainly recommend.
Staff is great, extremely knowledgeable, always gives me great recommendations on relevant products or fish, not pushy at all, low low pressure and understanding, I try to go at least once a week, new fishes coming in all the time and seasonal things like Amazon puffers as well. Love this please and the people who run it!
Very friendly and helpful staff, really great selection of fish and everything you need for your tank.
As an experienced fish keeper, one of the hardest things to do is find a reputable, well stocked and well-maintained fish store. I have been to almost every single one in Orange County, and this one is by far the best. I would recommend stopping here first to save your time. It is family owned, and you can tell they take great pride in what they do. As well as this I have been given the best treatment and service. I have bought over 100 fish and shrimp from them now and can confidently write this review.
Always a good experience. Have a large selection of both fresh and salt water fish! Fair priced as well. Great selection of nano fishes and plants
I have been going to this fish store for around 3 years now, and have visited almost every fish store in the OC area and I have to say that ever since I found this store I couldn’t stop going back. Their service is exceptional, as a shy person myself I find it very easy to talk to the people working, and they always have the answers to my questions. Every fish I’ve bought from them has been very healthy, and vibrant compared to other fish stores. They have an awesome freshwater selection and a decent saltwater selection. They also have a great hardscape selection with a variety of rocks and woods. Overall I have grown to love this store and I recommend anyone interested in keeping an aquarium to go to this store.
The store is small but the tanks that the fish are in are very clean.
Been my go to fish store for the last few years since I started being more serious in the hobby! The owners are so nice and patient and answer any questions or leave you alone if you just want time to look around and the huge selection of fish. Everything looks well taken care of and they get regular stock of new fish and aquarium plants at decent pricing, especially knowing that they look after them properly. Some really cool fish I’ve heard are rare (according to YouTubers) that I find here often! Definitely recommend for anyone who’s starting or going strong in the hobby
Excellent fish selection. The tanks are very clean and the fish seem very healthy. The owners are also incredibly nice and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable. I have bought several fresh and marine animals from them and they have all been thriving. I highly recommend this place for anyone who's looking for healthy and beautiful fish
The store is clean and so are the tanks. The fish are healthy and well taken care of. We were doing our first planted tank and had a lot of questions and they were very helpful. As we asked questions they were nice enough to steer us in the right direction and they have any and all the supplies we could need. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for fish or supplies.
this is one of the best fish stores. all the tanks are sparkling clean and very well cared for. i came in and requested some green neon tetras and the owner (im assuming) let me know that he wasn't comfortable selling me any right now as he had noticed that morning they were sick. i really appreciated the honesty and transparency. I ended up getting some beautiful celestial pearl danios instead and they've been doing great in my tank ever since. i think this is my go to fish store from now on :)
I have become a regular at this store. I love the selection, the constant new arrivals of various species, the fish are always healthy, but most of all I love the friendly and knowledgable staff! These guys are amazing and this will continue to be my shop for all my aquarium needs. They are the best around! Most of my aquarium comes from them!
Great specialty store for all of us fish lovers. I've gotten several of my school from them, along with lots of supplies and decorations. Great staff, great pricing. They know their stuff too, they have answered all of my weird questions! 😊 Some of the parrots I got from them have even started breeding.
Great selection of fish! Best fish store I've been to locally. Knowledgeable & very helpful owners and employees. Bought some Discus fish. Very healthy. My fish are doing great. I drove 40 minutes to get to Reef Tropical Fish and it was worth it. Will definitely be back.👍

The owners are very nice a d will answer any question you have. There are so many pretty fish here. I plan to conti ue shopping here for all my fish and fish necessities.
Great place to buy aquatic plants for a reasonable price. I go here every time I do laundry next door and they are always nice and have different plant varieties each time. The galaxy koi bettas are beautiful. Their tanks a lot cheaper then PetSmart for the same exact models.

They have really nice fish here as well of tanks and other things for your fishes .
Beautiful, healthy fish! I love the variety of bettas they have. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially if you’re new to fishkeeping.
The workers were very nice and the fish in stock were absolutely beautiful!
Second time buying fish and they're all healthy and well the staff is lovely and the prices are reasonable I would recommend
I always get my fresh water at this location. The staff is nice and very knowledgeable… Great Service
Best LFS in the area for rare cichlids and high-end aquascaping gear. They carry brands you usually only find online, and their plant selection is always fresh. Prices are fair for the quality you get.
Very knowledgeable. All the staff have their own unique knowledge and make the process of purchasing easier! They have a wide selection of fresh and saltwater, but hurry quick! They sell out fast because of their great stock! They also have a great amount of supplies. Majority of the time when we need something, this is our go to place!
Exceptional service from Jay today. Thanks for taking the time for our millions of newbie questions and setting us up for success! Great selection of fish, decor, and fishkeeping supplies!
I been going there since I was a kid 2004 best fish store in Anaheim well I think it's the only fish store in Anaheim but you must go alot of good fish and prices
Best fish store in orange county. I used to sell T crawdads and bought all my fish tank supplies and fish from them. Been Going there prolly close to 20 years

Very friendly and helpful staff, really great selection of fish and everything you need for your tank.
Always a good experience. Have a large selection of both fresh and salt water fish! Fair priced as well. Great selection of nano fishes and plants

Fantastic selection for unique ornaments, rock, fish tanks and live fish. It was like a fishkeepers Disneyland! The owner (older man) was very kind despite my misbehaving younger children. I asked politely to get past the older woman who also worked there and she gave me a dirty look and resentfuly moved aside. Other than that I would give 5 stars!
They have a good selection of fish tanks and plants. The rimless tanks and plants are less expensive then other places I have seen. Wide variety of wood for you aquascaping. The smell is a bit strong when you walk in.
First time fish owner here. The older guy was very helpful in letting me know what necessary tank supplies to purchase. He also was helpful in letting me know goldfish only should have other goldfish as companions. Prices seem reasonable.
Been coming here for a long time and they keep some decent saltwater stocking, but where they shine is in their fresh water selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. I just wish they were better stocked on salt water stuff since the name suggests it
Great selection of fish. Staff is usually ready to help and friendly. It comes at a higher price though. They had only one dead fish in their entire store. Good experience over all.
This is a very clean and good selection of aquatics. I got vampire shrimps here an bd they carry micro crabs 🦀 to. I recommend be this place if your trying bf to add more to your aquatic tanks.
It's just okay. Their fish and plants seem pretty healthy and all its just the service is pretty bad and the prices are kinda high. It's over 5 dollars for anacharis 4 dollars for female guppies. I guess if you only come here for feeders then I guess you're getting a decent price. Like any fish store It's disorganized in some areas and a lot of prices are missing.
visited for the first time last Thursday and bought 4 Rams, two blue and two golden. Once introduced to my tank, noticed one was less active than the other 3. After three days it disappeared in my 75gal tank and found it dead today. The store had two tanks with Rams; in one, there was a fish dying. I told the lady that bagged my fish, but she pretended as she didn't hear me. Store had a lot of supplies in stock and prices were reasonable. One of the better tropical fish stores I've visited, but can't say the fish is as healthy as one would expect them to be.
This store has a really unique selection for both salt and fresh water, along with a good selection of tanks and everything you would need to set up either a salt or freshwater aquarium. I have both so it's a convenient stop for me. Personally I think their freshwater fish and plants are a little pricey compared to other stores in the west part of Anaheim. They do have really good deals on some saltwater frags for $20. Their saltwater liverock does have aiptaisa but they sell peppermint shrimp which I've bought from them that eat it. Over the past few months I've noticed allot of dead fish, and really, really underfed ones. I usually go in early in the week, so it may be that I happen in before they do weekly maintenance to clean the unhealthy ones out from shipping mishaps etc, but I usually find a few in each system which makes me a little uneasy. The underfed fish bothers me, as in my opinion there isn't a good excuse for that. Shop is clean for the most part and owners are very helpful and kind.
I brought my wife to this store for some horned narite snails about two months ago. She was very excited about it. She's been ecstatic about putting together a community for her new tank. This place had a nice selection of beautiful looking fish. It looked clean and well organized. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is due to the rudeness and lack of respect a certain staff member displayed towards my wife. This female staff member seemed to have become annoyed or irritated that my wife was asking for a specific snail. Isn't that the point? Don't we show up to find the nicest or coolest looking creatures? Still this individual called another member to assist and was overheard by my wife passively commenting, "Good luck with this one," combined with a scoff. Completely unprofessional. My wife hadn't told me about this until long after we left the store because she knew I would've aggressively confronted this person. I don't take disrespect towards my wife lightly. Anyways, if we do come back here again, and I see this individual, they will be hearing from me. I don't forget.
Makes you feel super rushed and uncomfortable at times. The only saving grace is the man working their. Everyone seems like they just want you out of the store. Like what the hell. I came in to ask a few questions about one of my new tank and buy more shrimp decorations from the place I got my shrimps. Guess I will find a new fish store when I have spent over 100+ just recently just for fish/food/test kit. Lost yourself a whale. Bye.
Don't mean to ruin the good and friendly reviews for this store but my experience was almost the exact opposite. First of all, I bought 4 otocinclus catfish and I already had my quarantine tank ready to treat any underlying illnesses. One of them was found dead the next day. Although, most of the other fish I've seen at this store seem healthy. An important thing i like to mention here as well, was the greedy and selfish behavior by the owner. The older man with gray hair. He seemed friendly and helpful enough, but once I went up to the counter and made that transaction. Once he got my money, his attitude switch from friendly to cold and rude. Its all about getting your money for these people. Friendly service is secondary.
Higher price written on bags with fish then marked on tank with same fish. I prefer honesty and care even if small transactions.
Pretty bummed to have most of the fish I purchased die. Thankfully I've been in the hobby for 25 years, and put these in a quarantine tank. This was an expensive lesson after making over an hour drive and spending 100+$ on fish for them to die within 4 days. I hope it was just a fluke, the store looked great and had an amazing selection. Staff was friendly. I just wish the fish were healthier. Only 4 of the 14 purchased are left at day 4. Thankfully the arrowanas seem healthy. Be aware always quarantine your fish.
Not too happy with my recent visit. I asked the owner can you match Tongs price? He said no. Fine I proceed to buy some frozen food even though it's going to cost me more money. The owner is grabbing some food out and I asked can I have the packages that have less frost on the packaging. He let's the frozen door slam shut. Then says you pick it out and walks away. Bad attitude, not professional and I won't be going back.
Do not buy from this store unless you are ready to medicate and care for sick fish. Bought 12 chili rasboras on thursday, noticed white spots all over the fish on the morning of second day, definitely looks like ick. Decided it might just be stress from transport so raised the water temperature and hoped the fish would pull through. Today is sunday and now 6 fish are already dead, despite me raising the water temperature and making sure the water parameters are absolutely perfect. Started treatment with some medication today and hoping for the best for these little guys. My tank has only had shrimp and plants in it for the last year, so the ick 100% came from this store, especially considering how it showed up almost immediately on the fish. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE
I've had the worst experience with this fish store. Let me start off by saying I am an experienced fish keeper and know all about the nitrogen cycle and quarantining fish. I purchased 11 fish for a grand total of $40. I got home and floated the fish for 2 hours before releasing them into the quarantine tank. Straight out the bag 2 fish looked like they were on their way out, immediate sign of unhealthy fish. Its been 3 days since Ive purchased these fish and I have lost 5 fish so far. At this point I'm not too confident the rest will survive. I have purchased other fish from different fish stores, that have been quarantined longer than the fish from The Reef, and I have not lost any of their fish and its been weeks. I definitely advise everyone to handpick their fish as the woman who helped me acted like it was her first day on the job. She had a hard time catching the fish and most likely hurt them in the process. Also go figure, they only have a 24 hour exchange window. I will not be purchasing any fish from them anymore, I will update this post as the days go on in case I lose more fish from them.
I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel like people deserve to know what they’re getting into. I bought two goldfish from this store, and BOTH were already infested with anchor worms when I got them. I didn’t realize it at first until i got home, because I trusted the store had properly cared for their fish — but after one of them got worse, I did the research and learned this is a common and very preventable parasite. I treated both fish with everything I had — set up a separate tank, gave salt baths, even removed the worms by hand. Sadly, one of my goldfish died because of the stress and infection. I later found out this store has multiple tanks with visible anchor worm infestations, and they’re still selling the fish. This isn’t just frustrating — it’s heartbreaking. I’m not an expert, just someone who wanted to give two little fish a good home. And instead, I ended up grieving one and trying to save the other from something that never should’ve happened. Please, if you’re thinking about getting a goldfish from here, check the fish carefully. And if you’re the store owner: your animals deserve better. And so do your customers.
I had originally given this place a great rating because of their friendly service and good quality of fish. This was a few days after purchasing the fish and was not a long term review. I have bought a total of six angelfish from here. 6. I thought by paying the $7+ price from other fish stores I was getting good quality fish. All are dead except for one. They may have good specialty fish such as your higher ticket cichlids but their more common fish are filled with disease and very weak. Four of the fish got the same red disease to which staff was extremely unhelpful just pointing me to another one of their $10+ price on antibiotics. Loved the fish so I got it. Completely useless. All died the same, but dont worry, they died with antibiotics! For the price they demand their fish should be hearty. I spent a lot of money. One of the fish was a red devil angel which was a pain to get because they only had five to choose from. Im sure they're limited but angelfish are popular. Especially when you are demanding THIRTY DOLLARS for it. Went to Petco and got another angel for five bucks. Survived the "disease" the others faced and didn't even contract it. These fish are likely babied and cannot handle disease. Don't waste your money on their plants either. They dont survive a week if you dont get their overpriced fertilizer. Don't buy merchandise from here either, extremely profit-oriented. Amazon charges in general about $10 less. Honestly, they aren't worth the breeder extra price. Pretty unhelpful advice and usually involves buying something or very general. Im sad my fish died for this disgrace.
