This would be a 4 star outside Disneyland, but it stands out compared to other options inside the park. My shrimp pasta was pretty good, I would have preferred the shrimps a bit more seasoned. Salmon dish was also good and not overcooked. Chips on the side were too hard. Prices were reasonable
In my opinion. This is an underrated gem. We had no problem getting in and were seated on the patio. I ordered the buttermilk chicken with mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Crispy, slightly spicy, tender chicken breast. Creamy mashed potatoes and a surprisingly good apricot bbq sauce. The weakest point of this plate was the coleslaw, not seasoned and it was warm. My husband has celiacs disease and is vegan. He ordered the grain bowl. He said the flavors were well developed, delicious and he would get it again. He even said it edged out the gumbo at Tiana's palace in flavor. Bottom line. We had never been here before. Would not hesitate to return. Give it a try, you might be as surprised as we were.
We did the fantasmic dining experience. At night. For fantasmic show. Although the show busted 3/4 way in. Villain got stuck coming out. The food was so good. Amazing 3 course meal.
First time eating here. The restaurant is pretty nice inside but it feels like I mended to have a tea party . Service was quick. It took them about 5-10 minutes for food to come out. The best I ate were the house fries. The chicken was a little dry. Pancakes were alright. If I must say $10 for a side order scrambled eggs is outrageous 💀 ate every crumb.
We have dined here on several occasions, and so far it has never been a disappointment. We had brunch this time around, and everything was so delicious. The plates looked huge, tasted like magic, but yet was very light on the stomach. Our plates consisted of the American Breakfast, Biscuits and Gravy, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding Pancakes. Stew/Mickey Mouse was our server, and we are glad he was. Very attentive to our needs and making sure our meal was the greatest. Thank you Stew!!
I came here for my Birthday supper and I loved it! The food is delicious, the service is fast (though I strongly recommend placing a reservation), servers are kind & helpful and the patio area has a great view. A huge standout is the allergy options, in particular those for celiacs. Not only do they give a dedicated menu but they even double check with the chef/cooking team to ensure no cross contamination! A very good restaurant with delicious food. Highly recommended.

I love Disney and have an annual pass, and so I am biased toward giving high marks too much of what Disney does. River Belle Is one of the better restaurants within the Disneyland park, and it is also one of the only restaurants where you can get table service. So that makes it a great choice in many ways. Nevertheless, Disney could up its game a little bit at River Belle. For example, I ordered blackened fish and the menu does not state that it is blackened salmon, and if it did, I would not have gotten it because I’m not a big fan of salmon. My bad. Still, it was that’s mushy sort of salmon. Delicious potato chips, by the way. Plus the chicken dish that I saw on other tables looks delicious. That said I prefer to get it from the Plaza restaurant on Main Street, which has the best fried chicken on the planet! The tables are sort of put together in a cafeteria style, so it doesn’t exactly fit the menu prices. My table felt as if it was dangling in the middle of the room with a lot of space all around me. Yes, I’m grateful for the extra space, but I felt like I was sitting out in the open. By the way on a warm day in the high 70s, the restaurant was freezing and I did not have a jacket obviously and so I was freezing the whole time in the early evening. The staff is friendly as she would expect at Disney so I will give the staff high marks. Well deserved Given the challenge, they have of serving such a high volume of people. I will keep going back to the River Belle, Because it still has a number of good items on there And it is tough to find table service within the park.
I recommend getting a reservation to eat here. Came here for my son’s birthday and as you make your reservations on the Disney app, you can also include a birthday cake as an add on to your reservation. My husband and I ordered the chicken pot pie soup and the children ordered Mac and cheese and fries. The food was good and the cake was so cute and it was delicious! Service was super nice! We enjoyed coming here for an early dinner for my son birthday!
Ambiance/Environment: This spot is located in New Orleans Square - Frontierland. It’s easier walking through Adventureland because you’ll find this restaurant on the right side at the end. It’s a very casual spot with American foods. Wait time: They were busy in the afternoon. I was quoted a wait time of 40 min, but my table was ready within 15 min. Highly recommend booking reservations through the Disneyland app prior. If they’re accepting walk ups, you can partner with the cast member at the podium or join the waitlist on the app. You’ll be notified when the table is ready via text. Once you get the text, you have 10 min to return to the podium to be seated. Service: Everyone was very attentive and kind! I wasn’t able to catch everyone’s names, but shout out to my server Matthew! I was checked on a few times, my water was consistently full, and empty plates removed. Brunch: I ordered the Big Belle Sandwich and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding. The Big Belle Sandwich is HUGE! You can share this between two people. It contained Nashville hot chicken, brisket mac and cheese, house made slaw, and served with house fries. I was not expecting this to be stacked. The Nashville hot chicken had a nice spicy kick to it. The brisket mac and cheese was creamy, but I prefer a bit more brisket. The bread in between each layer made the sandwich even more filling. The fries were seasoned well and paired deliciously with the sandwich! For desserts, I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding. It tasted as expected. Sweet, chocolatey, and nutty. Pricing: This is theme park food, so of course prices are higher than expected. One dish alone can feed two people. I’d say it’s worth it! Great for lunch and dinner while in Disneyland.
We ate here as part of the package for the Fantastics show. What a fun place to eat. We had reservations and was able to eat within 15 minutes of the reserved time. Interior is like the 1890's. Server was very busy ,but gave us all the time we needed. Menu is limited in a good way. We started with spicy meatballs in polenta, Delicious! I had the pork chop dinner (4.5 stars), my partner had the chicken sandwich with the whole dinner in-between 3 slices of thick bread. (3.8 stars. Indeed it was spicy. Chicken, Mac and cheese were all in there. Enormous portion but he enjoyed it. Dessert was apple crisp with ice cream.(4star) For a sit down fun experience at Disneyland, go and have a very relaxed dinner.
Food here is good, not great, but pretty good for in the park. The burnt ends pasta is a fun and unique dish. They have a lot of choices and it’s a nice place to just go sit down and chill. They have seating for the evening shows outside which is pretty cool as well. Service is decent, they are just so busy in there .
We came here around dinner time on a Thursday. We were seated quickly though we did need to first make a reservation on the app. This is a sit down restaurant but it was still very fast service. Our drinks came within five minutes and our food was out soon after. The quality of the food was good but not amazing. I got the loaded fries and was surprised by how spicy they were. I enjoyed the extra kick but they lacked much flavor. My partner got the BBQ pasta and they really enjoyed it. We also tried the signature cocktail and loved it. Best drink we have had at Disneyland.

The outside patio dinning had a beautiful atmosphere. For how crowded Disneyland was, it seemed peaceful and removed. It was beautiful to see the lights of the steamboat as it passed. Our service was adequate but I was really disappointed when one time our server came to our table to ask how things were and he wasn’t even looking at us. For Disney being so service oriented and everyone so friendly and happy that seemed very impersonal and like service we’d get at a low scale restaurant. He wasn’t pleasant enough overall but just didn’t seem engaged. It’s interesting that when we left my dad and I had the same thoughts. The chicken pot pie soup was delicious and very filling and quite warm which was nice. The second hot chocolate was warmer than the first…. I would definitely eat there again!

There are so many great places to eat in the Disneyland Resort area, but this isn’t one of them. We’ve eaten here 3 times, however the last two times were just to get the Fantasmic dining package. Not once have we ever enjoyed our meal. The food is edible and we eat it, it just doesn’t taste very good. The impossible meatballs were good, better than a lot of real meatballs I’ve had…everything else we had was mediocre to not good. My youngest daughter got the chicken, which was boring, but expected for a kid’s meal. The biscuits were over baked, so very hard on the outside and dry on the inside. Even with butter they tasted very dry. The salads were basic and dull. My older daughter got a meat plate. Everything was on the dropper over sauced side of things. I got some grains dish which was actually terrible. It was a confusing mess where nothing seemed to belong on the same plate. I got the pudding for dessert, which was okay. I didn’t enjoy the cake at the bottom, but the actual pudding tasted good. My daughters each got the sorbet Sunday and barely touched them because they were overly sweet. They looked incredibly unappetizing. The main reason we are here was for seats to watch Fantasmic. I’m not sure what exorbitant price we paid, but being able to sit down while we watched the show made it worth it.
Nice place to take a load off. I was really hungry and we chose to eat here. Mainly because who doesn’t like biscuits and gravy. Biscuits and Gravy: large portion. The pork belly and cracklings wee a nice touch. I wish it had more gravy and that the biscuits were at lest warm. Fried chicken sandwich: great flavor especially with the pickles onions. Wish my waiter would have checked in to refill coffee.

There is NO bathroom in this restaurant. I had to take a family member out of the restaurant to the nearest restroom then return to cold food…. Absolutely unacceptable!!! The others who were in our party did order the sandwich which they enjoyed. The loaded fries didn’t have much meat and was mostly BBQ sauce. The pork chop was a pretty thick chop served with made potatoes and vegetables. The service staff was attentive when taking our orders; however, dirty dishes didn’t seem to be a priority. The cherry dessert was big enough to share and it was very tart overall. We will not be attending this restaurant again.
We were super excited about this experience and left there frustrated. Even though we made a reservation, we waited a long time and the restaurant was not full. Super basic menu for the price. They give you VIP access to the fireworks, which is terrible, because you spend hours sitting on the floor, in a crowded place. The good point was the waiter, super gentle. Never more, 0 Disney experience.

Just ate dinner earlier with my girlfriend. Food was good but the only problem was the chicken pot pie soup was served cold so we asked for a new one and it came back out warm and was good. I got the fried chicken dinner and everything was super good. Unfortunately came home a couple hours after and me and my girlfriend both got sick and ended up with food poisoning. Just a heads up for anyone else we only ate one other thing at the park but this was our first time there
I was shocked how bad it was. You normally read reviews and think, it can't be that bad. The reviews are very honest and accurate. The burnt ends pasta was inedible. I literally took maybe three to five bites before I gave up trying to eat it. The chicken pot pie appetizer was decent. A friend had a salad for the appetizer and the croutons were soft. We ate the dessert because atleast I ate something of the meal that I paid $65 for. We booked this dinner as part of the fantasmic viewing package. Be aware that you will sit on the floor. I parked the stroller infront of the restaurant where we were allowed to park. When I went out to get our jacket, they had moved it and I was instructed to look for the dragon. See attached photo and tell me if you would have seen it. I do not recommend.
I dined here with the Fantasmic package. The server was very kind, but the food took way too long to come out. They kept telling us, “Your food is coming soon,” but all the other tables around us had already been served. We ended up being the very last ones to leave — we were there for over an hour. When I asked for water, the server kindly said they’d bring it right away, but then just went to take other tables’ orders. They completely forgot until I had to ask again. And the food? It was terrible. Even the French fries didn’t taste good. What I want to say is: The food was disappointing, The service was disappointing, And at some point I honestly wondered if I was being treated differently because I’m Asian. This experience made me not want to buy food at Disneyland ever again.
The food was not hot, it was room temperature which is kind of crazy considering the fact that they took a very long time to bring our food out so you think it’d be hot, the salad was the only thing that was mediocre the rest was just all bad. Service took long on drinks, food and dessert. Not worth it to eat here at all.

Atmosphere was probably the worst at the park. Except for there bus boy. Multiple parties were seated and waited a half hour before a hey, what would you like to drink? Or any type of acknowledgement. Watched a couple leave after waiting that long, then were rushed after waiting that long from acknowledgement. The vibe was all dark and negative. Really makes you upset when your spending your hard earned money for this type of treatment.
