Hablando de lugares con excelente servicio y alimentos preparados con los mejores ingredientes les comento que este restaurante está en mi lista de los top 10 de San Miguel de Allende. Un lugar con estilo y un servicio impecable. Los jovenes que atienden siempre están con la mejor disposición y actitud. Es un restaurante completamente vegano pero con un sazón fuera de serie. Este lugar definitivamente comprueba que la comida vegana puede ser absolutamente deliciosa. Atrévete a dar un paso en su interior y probar uno de sus esquisitos y bien presentados platillos. Estoy seguro que quedarás satisfecho. Por cierto, su coctelería (🍸) es original y deliciosa.

En mi humilde opinión de mexicano-iztapalence. Un excelente servicio y atención a todo público. Las recomendaciones de la casa son excelentes ya sea para una o dos personas o más. Increíble lugar, ameno tranquilo. Nunca me había llamado la atención la comida vegana, pero este lugar fue una maravilla en el tema.

These were the best tacos I have had in San Miguel, and I’ve been here a week. Angel was the most enthusiastic server who is very passionate about his job. Eunice and her co-chef cook up spectacular vegetarian meals. We also got to listen to beautiful live music! Estos fueron los mejores tacos que he probado en San Miguel, y llevo una semana aquí. Ángel fue el mesero más entusiasta, muy apasionado por su trabajo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don Taco Tequila absolutely blew us away. This is a fully vegan restaurant, but don’t come here expecting imitation meat or gimmicks — the food stands completely on its own. Everything is built around real ingredients, bold flavors, and thoughtful cooking, and every bite was insanely delicious. The tacos were creative and perfectly balanced, the starters were packed with texture and spice, and the sauces were next-level. Even non-vegans would be obsessed — it’s the kind of place that makes you forget labels and just focus on how good the food is. On top of that, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and passionate about the menu. If you’re in San Miguel de Allende and want something memorable, flavorful, and genuinely special, this spot is a must-visit. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended. 🌮🌱🔥

We loved this place! Every item was got here over the course of 2 days was absolutely delicious and you can tell the menu is well thought out. The staff were also so incredibly friendly and nice. Ángel the waiter even sent someone over to their sister restaurant to get us a cinnamon roll for dessert because that’s what we really wanted and that was some above and beyond service, thank you for making our day! 10/10, will come back again next time we visit (and yes we are already planning our next visit to this wonderful town)

Went to Don Taco Tequila the first day of our visit to San Miguel del Allende, and we went back for round two a couple days later. We loved everything about this restaurant. The food and beverages are top notch, and the staff are fun and attentive. I highly recommend this place --even if you are not vegan.

We stopped by Tío Don Taco with the family just to enjoy a few beers and take in the San Miguel de Allende atmosphere—and it turned out to be a great choice. The service was excellent: our waiter was genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. They brought out complimentary chips and a variety of hot sauces to sample while we sipped our drinks, which was a thoughtful and tasty touch. We weren’t there for a full meal, but the overall vibe, service, and little details made it a really pleasant experience. Would definitely return next time we’re in town!

Best raspberry lemonade I’ve ever had! Ate there once but went back another time just for the lemonade 😆 They serve the Mexican classics but in a vegan/vegetarian way. The food is absolutely amazing 🤤 Highly recommend

Honestly, we had no idea this was a vegan spot when we walked in—but we were hungry and ready to give something new a shot. We started with the guacamole (a no-brainer) and ordered a round of drinks. I had the lemongrass, my wife tried the Jamaica mezcal margarita, and our son went with a classic Jamaica. When it came to food, we asked for suggestions, and the chicharrón taco was the first one out. We originally planned to just snack and move on to another place—but after that first bite, we changed our minds real quick. We each ordered a taco: one chicharrón, one baja, and one spicy chorizo. The chicharrón taco? Absolute standout. Add a little lime and guacamole, and it’s easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Even the tortilla had great flavor and texture. Between the welcoming service, creative flavors, and top-tier ingredients, this place totally won us over. Can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I found this place by watching a video on YouTube, and let me tell y'all that it was a good thing that we did! I'm not vegan by any means, but this place made me think about it for a bit, this place has some good plates, and don't get me started on the beers and the cocktails! If you are ever in this neighborhood of San Miguel De Allende, stop by and see my boy Daniel, he was our waiter, and this guy treats you like family. Excellent vegan spot in SMA! The dining room is not very large, so they do rope off the restaurant if all the tables are full. We came later and it was open. Great service and creative vegan Mexican menu. Pretty decent prices for SMA.

This cute vegan restaurant was such a find! We ended up just walking in and were lucky enough to find seats and quickly realized how popular this place is and exactly how lucky we were as people were being turned away. Excellent food, great service and loved the vibe of the place.

I may become a vegan as a result of eating the mushroom quesadilla at Don Taco. It was that delicious and satisfying. The texture of the filling felt like I was chewing tender meat and there was a slight crunch that added to the “chewing satisfaction” factor. All of the other dishes we tried were also excellent. In particular, the corn “ribs” appetizer was a unique introduction to the meal and set the stage for the entire dining experience. The service was great and our waiter took the time to explain the ingredients and make recommendations. We were walk-ins so we sat in the small bar area, which had a good vibe to it. Eating here was a memorable experience and we’ll definitely make a reservation the next time we’re in San Miguel.

De los mejores cocteles de San Miguel, deliciosos y a muy buen precio, la atención perfecta, la comida exquisita.El lugar es pequeño pero súper acogedor y bonito. Lo único que no me encantó es que el baño es demasiado incómodo es muy pequeño, y es para hombres y mujeres. Lo demás está perfecto. La atención es perfecta si hablas inglés y se ve que pagarás con dólares obviamente, a la comida le falta sabor pero como los extranjeros no saben de la buena comida pues con cualquier cosa que nunca hayan probado se dan por bien servidos junto con la maravillosa amabilidad del personal que más bien parece lambisconería para conseguir una buena propina. (No todos) no dejan comer a gusto con tanta plática que les hacen años comensales. Si eres una persona a quien le gusta que lo adulen y etc este es un buen lugar. Como comenté la comida no estaba buena. Hubo un mesero que se portó muy amable y atento lástima que luego ya no lo vimos. ( no tenía barba) fue el único que se vio que nos atendió como clientes normales. Quizás este lugar sobrevive por la atención a los extranjeros, y está bien cada quien hace su lucha y todo eso pero pues para nosotros los mexicanos que conocemos de sabores y etc no es un sitio adecuado. Probé la sopa azteca y no estaba buena, vayan y busquen otro sitio. El agua de jamaica si sabía bien. El agua de guayaba con menta no. Los mishiotes con zetas estaban demasiado chilosos sabían a puro chile. El aguacate estaba bueno. Por obvias razones no dejé propina.
