I was told about this taqueria by a friend and I am so glad that I took him up on it. I have already been here twice this month and both times the food, Carne Asada Fries once and a Giant Burrito the other time, have both been fantastic!

Authentic and delicious! We watched as, what we assumed was grandma, made tortillas right in front of us. They do a good breakfast burrito and my wife loves the nachos. small salsa bar onsite. Edit: Wow, another great experince. They family let me come behind the counter for a photo and gave us the freshest tortillas right off the grill. This is by far our favorite local spot. We will be back again and again.

we loved this place. friendly service and great food. I had crispy chicken tacos. they were quite substantial in size. i probably could have ordered just one but they were too good to stop until i finished every bite of both. hubby had a chile relleno combo plate and loved it. i sampled the chile and it was the best I'd ever had anywhere! perfectly cooked, not overdone, not mushy, just crisp enough. can't wait to go back. great salsa bar too, with fresh cilantro. this place was clean, no odors. wheelchair/scooter/walker friendly. although I didn't check out the restroom.

Oh my goodness. Been searching for authentic Mexican food since I moved here and this absolutely DID NOT disappoint. Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food. Will 100% be returning again soon.

The best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. The chips were very good. The salsas offered there were not good at all so I ordered some guacamole ($8.00) it had about 50 percent avocado in it ,but it was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. The chips were very good. The salsas offered there were not good at all so I ordered some guacamole ($8.00) it had about 50 percent avocado in it ,but it was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

4 1/2 Stars... They must have been busy today because there are only 2 clean tables at the end of this lunch rush. But, after our lunch, I understand why! I got a soft & crispy carnitas tacos. That is some of the juciest, tender pork! Hubby had crispy ground beef and we both shared chips and salsa! Everything was just very yummy! The salsa made my eyebrows sweat! A great tell for good salsa! 😉 I really enjoyed lunch here. Game on, conversation in the kitchen and with regulars. Great food, cold beer. We will be back!

4 1/2 Stars... They must have been busy today because there are only 2 clean tables at the end of this lunch rush. But, after our lunch, I understand why! I got a soft & crispy carnitas tacos. TacoTuesday! 1.50$ for mini tacos. I ordered 10 chickens. No complaints besides the chicken was either overcooked or Cooked before hand. A little tough. But, shoot its $1.50 taco.

These are the weakest quesabirria tacos I ever had there was no flavor. and the tacos didn't look anything like quesabirria it's like they have it in a big pot of soup and just threw it in the taco. Rice and beans taste bland 24 dollars for 3 quesabirria tacos and rice and beans with 1 beer. Not worth it for the quality Other items are probably better but I'm not coming back here ever again. But the atmosphere is nice and the cashier is very kind .

Worst breakfast burrito ever. We got stomach ache and nauseas. It’s supposed to have chorizo, egg, potatoes, rice and beans. Not rice at all and had like 3 pieces of potatoes.

The waitress was a great sweet lady! She made us feel very welcome. Although this was my fiancés and my first time eating here since we just moved to sac. We hadn’t eaten all day and were excited to order here. Once we got our food it looked amazing, I got al pastor nachos and he got an al pastor wet burrito. we had gotten salsa but it smelt very bad so we didn’t end up eating the salsa. But I don’t think it mattered since we woke up today with FOOD POISONING. I’ve been up since 1am back and forth in the bathroom and my fiancé has been there since 6am. Come to find out one of my friends recently went there and she had food poisoning also from a burrito. I’m not sure what’s going on but this place has potential but maybe the food needs to be looked over better for expiration dates or even handled better??

I am absolutely disgusted and will NEVER eat here again and I suggest you don't either.. the person who took our complaint over the phone apologized and offered us our money back.. but that is not the issue, the issue is the lack of attention to detail in the food safety of this establishment.

I took a few bites of my bean and cheese burrito tonight and saw a pink object inside my burrito, I started to pulling out to find out what it was and to my absolute shock it was a BAND-AID in my burrito!! Still in a circular shape like it slipped right off of the person's finger who prepared my food.... why the hell was this employee not wearing gloves when making my food if they had a band aid on their finger.... I am absolutely disgusted and will NEVER eat here again and I suggest you don't either.. the person who took our complaint over the phone apologized and offered us our money back.. but that is not the issue, the issue is the lack of attention to detail in the food safety of this establishment.

This place is terrible. No customer service , place is dirty, tapatio bottles are old. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. Got my money back.
