An experience not to be missed. Genuine, local food, great portions, even better atmosphere thanks to both the location, staff and service. All in fair price which is quite rare in that region basing on my experience during the stay. An the homemade liquors! With story-like funny etiquette's, served with a special, incredibly funny ritual :) will say no more not to spoil the surprise :) Loved the experience.

Arrived at 8, and the placed filled up to full within the hour. A great atmosphere and friendly staff. The portions are heartily sized. We shared a plate of salamis and cheese to start and the local delicacies were excellent. The mixed grill was a highlight, the sausage was great but the mini steak kebab was succulent and tasty. The steak hache was strongly flavoured, nice and beefy with a nice contrasting salad and roast potatoes. 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 beer, 1 wine, 1 coke came to 53 euros so excellent value. Would happily go back

Great food, authentic athmosphere, extremely friendly staff. We felt at home! The decór is great. They have a marvelous panna cotta. The drinks at the end are amazing, specially the last one!

little and nice hosteria near the center of aosta, typical tradition food… good choice of regianal wines and spirits space out side and inside

Nice little place. A bit away from the main city street which makes it a bit quieter and not so crazy. The food itself was good, but the menu is really short - not many options. And if polenta isn't your thing, then the list gets even shorter. The dishes were plenty big enough to fill you up, and very tasty, but the dessert was a very small jar of Panna cotta. Kind of awkward and too small for 6 euros in my opinion. Anyways, cool atmosphere, good food, but for me not quite enough for the full score

I had great expectations about this place because many told me to try it out ✅ however I wasn't quite impressed. Food and recipes are ok rather normal nothing exceptional. Some ingredients could be of better quality. The meat was fresh and well grilled and served in a characteristic way 🥩. Service was good if you consider it was Saturday and quite busy the waiters served us rather quickly. Mustard full of vinegar low quality I guess a more homemade one would be better. Vegetables like salads and tomatoes 🍅 were also low quality ones from supermarkets. Why not find a local instead? Coffee practically burned. Wine was ok. Liquors at the end of the dinner were free but sugar bombs except one. We didn't eat bad but also not to remember. Of course when someone goes to a restaurant like this expect a higher level of quality. Some nice mountain characteristic atmosphere. If they fix some particulars it will become a great place to return. This was the opinion also of the others. I am sure the restaurant with some adjustments will become very good. I do not understand some 1 star reviews I find those too low 🔅. We paid an average of 35€ Not too bad at all. Vote 6.5 to 7

Nice hapenning and the atmosphere is great when you sit inside, but the food is very avarage, not good enough for a place like that.

Overpriced average food. They forgot one of the plates we ordered (never arrived to the table) and the bill wasn’t correct. We came for dinner and the bread as quite stale. The olive oil was great though.

Unfriendly staff, food under average at high cost. salad and Valdostrana with way too much mustard. I wouldn't recommend it. Strongly disagree with other positive opinions

Terrible experience!! Don’t recommend this restaurant. I’m pregnant and we specially told the waiter we need the meat to be well cooked and not red. The dish came and the meat was red inside. After I complained he decided to take it back and bought it back but it was still red inside. Then we said I can’t eat this, so we ordered another dish. The bill came and they charged us for the dish, when we told them we didn’t eat it so we shouldn’t be charged, they wouldn’t remove it from the bill and the lady at the cashier told me to SHUT UP!! How can a restaurant treat their customers this way, this is no way to treat a customer. The waiter was also very unfriendly from the start. I DO NOT recommend this place!!

Horrible. Worst experience traveling in 20 years!!! I think their local friends must have written anything good! Disgusting, dirty, horrible order. The fondue was inedible dishwater. When I went to pay the elderly woman asked why I didn’t eat I politely said I’m sorry but it just wasn’t good. I was shocked as she got aggressive, flailing her arms towards me. Then the man with the long braided beard joined her yelling and aggressively moving towards me! As a native New Yorker I’m not easily frightened but I left shaking!they do something at the end of the meals evidently when they give a drink for free so they can hit you and hit you with a baseball bat -I will be reporting my experience to the Aosta health department and the city police today!
