We enjoyed a lovely long lunch at Chat-A-Wyle. The atmosphere was sunlit and cheerful, with lots of surrounding conversation . Service was prompt. The menu had unique soup items, and " worth the calories " deserts.

The food was DELICIOUS! My girlfriends & I all ordered something different. Everything had a good flavor & homemade. It's a very friendly atmosphere. The waitress, Paula, was pleasant. Paula kept a real close eye on us for anything we needed. I had the taco bread bowl. OMG...so much flavor! Another ordered the turkey & vegetable soup -- huge chunks of turkey. The dessert was scrumptious! This was my first experience at Chat-a-Wyle. It certainly will not be my last. Can't wait to go back & try something else on their menu.

Love the ambience of Chat A Wyle. Very quaint. Great place to go for breakfast or lunch. You are not rushed and service is great. The food is unique, definitely delicious. My favorite spot to go to to catch up with friends. Now if I could only see the ghost who is said to live there.

Everything has made homemade including the turkey for the sandwiches and the focaccia bread and homemade soups. And the price is right here. It’s a fabulous place.

One of our favorite places for lunch when we are in town visiting family. The quaint farmhouse, eclectic vintage tables and decor and delicious homemade food makes this a great spot to check out! The chicken Marsala sandwich is amazing, and the homemade soups are very enjoyable. The servers are very friendly and accommodating.

My wife seems to be addicted to their Autumn Bisque soup which is consistently terrific! Instead of an intervention I try to get her a few bowls for takeout every few weeks!😂 Servers are always friendly! Great unique place to have a delicious lunch!

Wow, what a wonderful restaurant! We called on the way and they accommodated our RV in the parking lot. Bonnie brought us out our Lunch which consisted of amazing potato soup and a delicious Turkey cranberry mayonaise on nut bread half sandwiches. And when we were done we made a phone call and she brought out our peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Very unique retro venue. His food is awesome. Freshly roasted turkey with cranberry and garlic Mayo, wow. Chicken and stuffing soup, Potato soup , oh man alive. so good everything so good. I even placed an order to go for that evening's dinner.

Great place for soups and sandwiches. I had the turkey with cranberry mayo and a bowl of tomato soup. We got cheese spinach fondue for starters. Everything was yummy and fresh. Great for friends, mom daughter dates, and a unique environment. Recommend!

Chat-A-Wyle is such a great place to eat. My sisters and I get together once a month and this is our go to. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the place itself has a very cozy & homelike atmosphere. We never feel rushed when we go there. I highly recommend going.

Cozy restaurant inside an old house. Tried the chicken and stuffing soup. Good flavor and seasoning. Nice size chicken pieces. Also had the Mandarin chicken salad sandwich on a roll. Chicken salad is my favorite, and this didn't disappoint. The Mandarin orange gave it a nice flavor. For dessert, another favorite Key Lime pie, which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A little on the pricey side, for what was ordered. The service was good also. Overall, the food had good taste. I'll probably be back as they have another sandwich I would like to try.

We got off the thruway to grab something to eat on our way home from Long Island to Buffalo. When we walked in I was like oh boy not sure about this place, it was like going to my great grandmothers house the decor was amazing. The menu was small but the best soup and sandwiches we ever had. We kept the name & address as we will be stopping there again in our travels.

A very pleasant experience. Waldorf salad with chicken and beet soup was excellent. The flight of 3 soups is a great idea and a delicious treat. Turkey sandwich was REAL off the carcass meat, just super. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.

Great home made food to warm up your body and soul. We wanted to try a bunch of stuff. Had the garden salad, creamy potato soup and the turkey and cranberry sandwich. All very good!!! We were sat right away in a back room but it was nice and private. Has a very nice old home charm. Will be there again soon :) next time I'll get dessert too!!

I love this place! Homemade soup and bread bowls! They even do homemade sandwiches. The place is an old farmhouse that has a rustic antique feel. The food is amazing and such nice people. You can't get better than this place! The only negative side is they are only open Mon thru Fri 11-3.

Our favorite local restaurant for hearty food. The owners and the people who work there have been wonderful. There is usually plenty of parking. There's a ramp to get in from the back. There are lots of rooms to dine in. There are creative variations following local ingredients. (Some photos were past creations) My kids' favorite are potato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. I enjoy the tuna sandwich, taco soup, in addition to their seasonal salads. Did I mention desserts? Cookie Dough Sundae, Peach Cobbler, or Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar... with a scoop of ice cream. They bring us smiles every time.

It was very busy and our waitress was slammed! She was so very nice and checked on us often. I was impressed on how fast we got our food. The turkey veggie soup was good but my BLT was better. I had to splurge and get the apple cobbler..it came with ice cream and whipped cream..yummy 😋 Hope you get to try it out!

So surprised by this place. A friend kept saying, I want to take you there. Boy was I glad she did. It was like walking into a farm house. It makes you feel you are eating in your own home with your friends or family. The staff was so nice. The food menu had everything, vegan options, vegetarian options and meat lover options. Their homemade chips are delicious. Their bread was so soft and yummy. Their soaps are made fresh daily. I think it's my new favorite place. There is plenty parking to be had and they accept credit cards.

HOW fantastic is this place? Well, once or twice a year I take a 7-hour road-trip that takes me along I-86 and for now on I'll always figure out a way to time my trip so that I can stop at Chat-A-While for lunch. It's THAT good. The sandwiches are amazing. The soups are phenomenal and always piping hot. The chips are great. The desserts are fabulous. The service is excellent, as far as thoroughness and timing. Perfect. Follow-up was flawless. Could the friendliness factor be improved? Yeah, sure it could. But the 5-star review is still very well deserved. What an awesome place. What fantastic food. And quite charming, too!

Not your typical restaurant. Its charm is that nothing matches (tables, chairs, dishes) and it's cozy. (like visiting grandma) Service is friendly and pretty quick. The home cooked food is delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the portabella mushroom sandwich with homemade garlic dressing. Delicious! Unfortunately for vegans, nothing specifically noted on the menu as vegan. Also take note, the high steps into the home/restaurant could be difficult to manage for elderly.

This is a nice place to sit and have a meal with family and friends. The food was good. The peach and raspberry cobblers are a must!!! Getting a table took a while, despite it not being too busy. All in all, I'll definitely be back.

I stop frequently for takeout and the staff is always very pleasant. I do feel recently they are cutting corners a bit. I used to really enjoy the salads but today was just plain Romaine lettuce with two very small pieces of tomato, along with chickpeas, cucumbers and black olives. The egg salad sandwich had two paper thin slices of tomato which still had the core in the middle, and they now charge an extra dollar for focaccia bread.

Very unique place. I wouldn't get the soup again, but the sandwiches were delicious. I recommend the veggie sandwich on ciabatta. Looking forward to trying it again for breakfast!

Not a seat in the house, but once seated, a most delightful experience. The menu has both eclectic and feel good offerings. Probably could have used more help on the floor, but satisfactory. Food was excellent, looking and tasting like it came right out a warm, family kitchen.

Very unique! Nostalgic really. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. My bowl of french onion soup and half sandwich and water came to $10. Many pleasant reminders of the past in the decor. Service was good and very cordial.

The price was pretty high for the portion size provided. That's the 5 star killer. I love this place and will continue to come here and recommend it.

If you like eating bean sprouts and wraps, this is the place for you. A sandwich on Italian bread isn't real Italian bread here, it's thick slices of supermarket bread labeled Italian. I knew I was in trouble when the special was Broccoli Blueberry salad. The decor is that of a 1970's kitchen where all the tables are different color and designed metal tables and chairs. The most popular thing ordered while we were there was the grilled cheese sandwich at $10. Grilled cheese is usually the least expensive thing on a menu.

Loved the food. Waitress put us back to back with other another table, making conversation very difficult. Restaurant had few people with many tables available. Another couple were put in another room far away from others. They were lucky, we were disappointed.

Great service, cool farm house atmosphere. A tad disappointed. Corn chowder soup kinda starchy and the ham salad bland and fatty. Taco soup was delicious and so was the raspberry dessert.

Ordered take out of a Tuna wrap and soda. Total came to over $14. Wrap was supposed to be $9 so that left the soda to over $4 at least their online menu prices stated the wrap was $9. I was shocked at the soda being the size of a can and that price. The Wrap while the tuna was good quality white tuna was so over mayo’d it was dripping liquid out of the wrap. The flavor was decent but totally not worth the price. It was sad because I think all the potential is there as it’s a cute establishment but so not worth the price. Oh and the extra touch of dropping of an itemized receipt to where I work was even better… 🤪 you over charged based on your published prices…. Shame on you.

Normal sandwhich shop... Soups were decent... It had interesting old timey decor and the staff was friendly. UNCLE GERRY'S TIP: The fondue wasn't really fondue it was more like cheese wiz and bread.

I love this place but the pandemic has not been nice to their prices! There's no way a Hot Ham & Swiss should cost $20.00. Just had "lunch" with 1 other & the bill came to with tip $57.00. No lunch should come to $57.00!

This place used to be great but it's really just awful now. Cream of mushroom soup was so salty it was barely edible. Very runny. The chicken and stuffing tasted sour. The whole sandwich was more like a half and half filled. Sorry to see that it's gone downhill.

Very disappointed! I order a half sandwich and soup meal for $12. The cheesy chicken marsala sandwich had the absolute driest piece of chicken to the point I wasn't even able to pierce it a fork! Absolutely unbelievable to me that a cook actually looked at that piece of chicken and thought it was a good idea to serve it to a customer! The cheesy potato soup was very bland and tasteless. A very disappointing lunch. On a positive note, I was not charged for the sandwich. However, I won't go back.

Lovely place. Soup extremely salty. Bones in my soup, not one BUT 2. Had to bring to cashiers attention to take off bill. Off my list of places to go!!
