Excellent diner. Very well located. Clean, well-served dishes, fresh water, wonderful service from the staff, and very fair prices. Outdoors, if you can't stand the heat and humidity, consider another place because there are no fans. But it's worth it to endure the heat for a bit. I always bring my personal mini fan with me in Vallarta.
A traditional Mexican diner specializing in pozole. Excellent service, quality, and price. Note: the food is authentic Mexican. No "enchiladas Suizas" or other such nonsense.

This little spot was right by my Airbnb and I’ve ran by it so many times. My boyfriend and I finally decided to stop by and try it. We were so glad we did! It’s really a family-run business. It almost feels like you’re eating at someone’s home. The menu was written on a whiteboard (and probably changes occasionally, or maybe even daily)--I love that! I couldn’t decide on what to order because I wanted to try everything. Luckily, there’s an option for that! The lady who took our order (presumably the owner) offered us the “Mexican Platter” which had a bit of everything on it--think of it as a sampler. It included: sope, gordita, taco dorado, tostada, pozole, and enchilada. It was plenty for two people to share! It was only 120 pesos! Since we were hungry, after we tried all those items, we picked out our favorite and ordered more. My boyfriend ordered 3 tacos dorados and I ordered 4 sopes. 4 sopes was 60 pesos. We also ordered a horchata. In total we spent about $8 USD. Worth it? Totally. It’s truly nothing fancy and nothing absolutely mind-blowing good, but definitely authentic and great for the price. I would recommend stopping by if you get the chance. Wonderful family-owned restaurant and cheap eats!

It's a small, family-run place, with tables set up on the patio, so it fills up quickly. It's recommended to arrive early to get a table and choose from the menu items, as they also sell out fast. The dishes are flavorful and include traditional Mexican snacks like pozole, tostadas, tacos, and sopes. Most of the tortilla-based snacks are served with a red salsa. They only accept cash.
Great food. Restaurant doesn't have A/C so prepare to start sweating. Service was good, attentive.
Small family run restaurant between Versailles and 5Dec. Traditional homecooked Mexican food, they hdve done rntrrre you won't fibd anywhere else or probably have never heard of as well. This is cash only, street parking only, one restroom, one high chair available. Prices are unbelievably low. Highly recommend a stop.

Pozole and tostada de pata were super good. Cheese and onion enchiladas were horrible. One was soaked in sauce and a handful of onions, the cheese was never seen. I thought they asked me if I wanted them with onions, not that they were going to be all onions. Excellent service. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered tostada to go because it's delicious, and I get to the apartment and see that they sent it to me pre-made, that is, on the tostada. Obviously, it was already a soup. When I come here, I go to expensive and cheap places, to restaurants, and everything. This is the first time they've sent me a tostada to go like this, including seafood. Please change that or make it an option. It just went in the trash.
Bad is the word, pozole tasted more like broth than pozole, the gorditas were tasteless, I couldn't eat the meat, it was impossible to chew, I would avoid this place.
The food was not very good. The service was very good.
