Great food and service. I have been coming here for years and will continue to go back. Love the food and the employees. They're all nice and the food is always prepared quickly and great!
One of my favorite places to eat in the high desert. The staff is always so nice, and their menu has a good variety of foods. They have great prices and the food is always great. Chips and salsa are so good! Addicted to this place for sure! Definitely recommend👍
It's been a Looong since I walked out of a restaurant feeling like I was going to blow up❣ It was soo delicious, that I couldn't stop eating🤣🤣🤣 I had the mixed fajitas, with rice and beans, flour tortillas, and paid extra for pico de gallo and guacamole❣A definite must try❣Service is prompt and courteous, food is delicious and fresh, and prices are reasonable❣
This is one of the best restaurants in Apple Valley that tostada shrimp ceviche Carne Asada plate they delicious so when you have a chance, go over there and enjoy the good food, the real Mexican food
I will justify having to wait a bit in line for the food. Burritos have proportional amount of meat vs other places that just fill it with 80% rice and beans. Tacos are good too. In short, make your own opinion when you go by and try the food.
Meat in plates are plentiful and very fresh. The beans, side ordered, are the best I've found in all of Apple Valley. No one should complain that the service is slow because every plate is made fresh and served pipping hot.
Amongst our party of 23, I don't recall hearing any complaints about the food. We had 4 different bills and our head count for each bill was spread out to different tables. They did an excellent job on keeping our bills correct. I was super impressed by that. Great food, good service as expected for a group of 23. My only complaint was the seating. Huge bucket chairs to a small round table that were awkwardly crammed together against a wall. Other than that I would definitely recommend this restaurant to smaller parties.
I've always eaten at this place for over 10 years now and they've never let me down. I know the family and its such a welcome place that you wont be disappointed when they say they make everything fresh they truly mean it. I've seen every inch of this building and it is a force to be reckoned with because of the high level of standard that the owner expects from his staff and everything is super clean. I've never left this place on a empty stomach or a frown on my face. I will continue to eat at this place until I can't take it no more..which will be never!
The food is so delicious 😋 and worth the wait, such a great find and very affordable. Have been trying something different every visit and have not been disappointed from tacos to shrimp, fajitas, Chile colorado all amazing. The service is the best great little place.
Awsome salsa and green sauce! 6 years ago, that was my post. Still true if they actually give it to you! Had to wait way too long for a single breakfast burrito, and the green sauce is very important to me. Yes, I asked for it! But none in the bag when I got home. My family and I used to eat here all the time, but the wait time for our food has really reduced our visits!
The food is extremely delicious. They were extremely pleasant and very attentive. The waiters all were on top of making sure that we had plenty of fill with the chips & Salsa, There hotter salsa is delicious and they need more locations. We hope they keep up the great work over there. Try them out every experience is different but for the most part they are the best Mexican food in The High Desert.
Great little spot, food is delicious and well priced, service is as good as you can expect a small establishment to have (2 servers doing everything on a busy Saturday.) It's definitely worth the stop if you're in town.
Great place, great food, and attitudes. ( this has changed ) The only problem is they don't have a clue how to make a good chimi ( this has also changed), but overall, it's a great little place. I changed my mind. This has become, over the last 6 years, my favorite. They have gotten used to me and know what I like. Although beans and rice with the plate should be included, it should not be extra. Otherwise, it's become my favorite, now 1 of my favorite. Top 2 of 3. From the Not so rich , Not so stuck up Amateur motorcycle food critic. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars.
Chevos is great. Their chips and salsa is really good and every day they have a special that is pretty inexpensive and very delicious. The staff is also wonderful. Never had a bad experience there, and I go there for lunch often because it's right by my work.
Great food and awesome friendly service. I've been coming here for years. Update 1/9/22 Service was horrible walked in and there was 6 tables empty but dirty, waited 5 min until some talked to us then another 10 to get seated. After being sat it took over 10 min to get drinks ordered then another 5 to get them all while other ppl around got served drinks and more chips and salsa. We were told after finally getting drinks that it would be a few min to get chips and salsa after we had to ask......
My family's favorite restaurant since we moved up here in 2007. The food is amazing. Our favorite thing to order is the bean, cheese, and rice burrito. The enchiladas are fire, and if you love shrimp, the camarones al MOJO de ajo is Moy Rico!
Were recommended by our friend nice family owned restaurant food was on point great service
Was feeling under the weather...went through the drive thru and grabbed some Albondigas soup and it was delicious! Perfect soup for how I was feeling. Thank you for having great customer service on the phone and in the drive thru!
Excellent Food ,Excellent Service I highly Recommend Chevo's
It is family runned and operated they make awesome shredded beef tacos and their chips are homemade their salsa is homemade and its really good and you can buy it and take it home they have different sizes every night they have a new special Friday night I had soft tacos for a $104 each your choice of any meat.
This place is amazingly delicious. Their food is great. Their super burrito is a must-have. The Ranchero wet sauce is one of the best in town so far. Great flavor, not spicy. Overall, you need to come and check it out yourself. FYI the speaker doesn't seem to work at times, but don't worry you can always go inside.
Great place for Mexican food. Small, casual restaurant with great food. Excellent chips and salsa. I like that the chips are thin and crispy, not crunchy. Carnitas we’re really good along with the cheese enchilada. Fajitas were really good as well. You get quite a bit of food and priced well for what you get. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back!
The food at Chevo's is top notch. Everything is delicious. We've been going there for over ten years. The meat is succulent. Just try the tacos, burritos and chicken flautas. So Yummy!!!!!
Wow!!! Recently moved to this area and we now have our 3rd favorite place to eat. Usually we struggle to find a decent priced Hispanic foods place since my home cooking is so yummy. Since we have no stove or refrigerator at the moment we are being forced to eat out. Although this is going to definitely on our list for eating out even after we start cooking at home again... Service is awesome... A sweet positive ambiance. 👍🥳
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the high Desert. Their salsa and guacamole is awesome. Never had bad food. Taco salad, burritos and flautas are very 👍 good.
The most amazing mexican food in apple valley. Great service.
Our fam went in on a Friday for dinner and ordered multiple things from burritos to tacos to dessert and everything was great. The restaurant was full and service was still great. My husband who is the most picky person I’ve ever met wants to go back So that’s saying a lot.
Service is friendly and the food is great but make sure you have time as I would not call it fast food. This is a great place to slow down and relax
We picked up at the drive through, the food was great and the window person very friendly. Carne asada fries and nachos, yum
Food here is always so good. Been coming here for years, think of it as aunties and grandmas cooking in the back, just great home cooked meal. Our go to’s are chimichanga, hard shell tacos, burritos, chilli Colorado and my favorite chili rellano. Have yet to try their seafood. They also have great salsa, sometimes I stop and just order a large container of it. If you’re going through drive thru, please be patient, it will take awhile because they’re making your food fresh, otherwise go to Del taco across the street. Last thing, they have carrot cake and chocolate cake at the counter that’s amazing! I don’t think they make it there, but maybe one of the workers do? Not sure, but it is one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had!
Food is amazing!! Family atmosphere and friendly servers. Pick something on this menu and im sure you will love it. Food is cooked to order so sit down and relax enjoy a drink some chips and salsa.
Visiting the old neighborhood and we decided to try Chevo's on the recommendation of friends. It's a typical sit down restaurant with the decor you'd expect. I was encouraged when I saw first responders dining there. They know all the good spots to grab a quick bite. Since it was our first visit I had to order the dish that I measure all Mexican restaurants by....Tacos. Ground beef tacos. Moms were the best so everyone else has to be measured against hers. Well I have to say that Chevo's topped Moms. They grill up the ground beef to perfection. Lightly blackened topped with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and cilantro served on a choice of corn or flour tortillas. Sorry Mom.
Great food and prices. Service is slow. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. There is a drive-thru, but your food will be made from scratch and it's not going to be fast. You can order ahead for to go. I love this place, you just can't be in a hurry.
Excellent food. Portions are plentiful also. You are likely to NOT leave hungry. Take the time to go inside to eat and or order. If you do use drive through. Be prepared to wait. I thought I was ready for a wait but it was longer than I expected. I will dine there again. THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING. I am going to change my review. I'll make it more positive. I do like your food. Next time I'll dine in. I expected a wait but 30 plus minutes. I worked real hard and remaining positive. I could say your employee was extra frank.
Food is some of the best in the desert without question!! Would be a 5 star for sure if service was a little faster. I don’t know how anyone goes through the drive through here though. If you are not eating here I would suggest calling your order at least 30 min in advance unless you want to be frustrated though.
Food good. Kind of cooled inside building.
Food is always good. We stopped by after my Christmas party across the street. I loved going to Chevo's every Sunday when I lived in Apple Valley. The food is still good. Our wait was a little long, but, that was likely because of holiday parties going on. Great restaurant, owned by great people, with great staff - highly recommended.
First time visiting there. Upon entering we were greeted by the 2 ladies in there. Tried to seat us bit we were ordering to go. Grabbed a menu looked through it, asked our questions which they answered fast. Placed our order. About 5 mins or so pur food came out. Food was very tasty and hot even after we got home to eat it. Descent prices considering everything these days are pricey. Well done Chevos!
Stopped here for dinner with my uncle and his friend. I had the fish tacos which were excellent! My uncle had the chili rellenos with guacamole and sour cream. Unfortunately they forgot the guacamole and the sour cream, and he said it was kinda dry. The chips and salsa were excellent.
The food here is just okay. This restaurant used to be so clean but not anymore. The booths are tight and a little uncomfortable, and the table chairs are the worst. The chips were so generic and borderline stale. The server was super nice, though. We left her a good tip. Next time we crave mexican food, we'll definitely be skipping up the block to Las Brisas.
I love the food here because it's healthy Mexican food. It always seems really fresh. Seems though you wait a long time for the food. The reason I keep loving this place is the food is really fresh. I love the fish tacos in fact I would say I am addicted to them. My husband always eats the Verde pork plate. So if you're in a hurry this isn't your place! They can work on it being a little bit cleaner too!
Menudo is one of the best tasting in all the High Dessert and is cheaper priced than any other place. Only reason for the 4 stars was the time it took to get our menudos was a bit too long. Menudo is something cooked in big batches and should be the first to be ready when the restaurant opens
Why is it I seem to date myself on some of these reviews. We used to eat here back when the Bank of America was still open. Food was always good. Never any issues. The salsa and chips were good as well. Lots of options on the menu. I have used the drive thru one time. I found it easier to go inside. Not the best Mexican food in the area, but always good.
First time here from my son's suggestion. The vibe was chill and cool inside. I ordered the filet de mojo de ajo, my son ordered the chile relleno and carne asada taco. The food took awhile to come but it was fairly busy with customers. The food was good and worth the wait, but the fish qas swimming in butter and oil and so was the rice and beans. The portion was very large and I couldn't finish it all. My son loved his food. Overall, I would try this place again but order something else.
Really really love the food! I have ranted and raved about this place for four years straight. But today they get three stars because recently the sewage smell inside the restaurant is almost unbearable to be honest. I can't understand how they legally can even open the doors while it smells like that... really makes me question the establishments cleaning standards. Not worth me and my child getting sick!
It’s a hit and miss with Chevo’s. The food is great. Legit Mexican quality food. The flip-side? The service. When you dine-in, sometimes you will wait a considerable amount of time before your order is taken. If you order in the front, sometimes you get help right away, other times, you are just standing in the front for more than 10 minutes and nobody acknowledges you nor asks if you have a to go order or placing an order.. nothing. If you try to order by phone, nobody picks up and their voicemail is always full. If you try to go through the drive thru, their speaker is broken and it’s been broken for weeks. You have to call to order and, like stated above, phone is unreliable. Again, the food saves this restaurant. The food is good. So much potential for this place. It can be the best mexican restaurant in the high desert. Better than any of those Mexican food wannabes such as PVs in Victorville or any of the Alazanes. It just needs better management.
Whatever your opinion of their food, DO NOT use the drive thru! It is not a fast food restaurant, and you WILL wait! I waited long enough that my wife wondered where I was, I got frustrated, wrote this review, posted it, and then edited it and reposted it! The tacos and Carne Asada fries were very good, at least!
Started coming here about 12 years ago and it was fairly consistent the first few years. But since then you never know what you are going to get from one trip to the next. The last time I gave them another try was about 3 years ago, and I made the gigantic mistake of going through the drive-thru since my girlfriend had to get to work. I sat there so long I was just trying to back out or pull forward and Escape but was trapped in between cars. She ended up being late for work and had to take the food in and eat it on her break. Never again will I try the drive-thru under any circumstances. I understand Sunday night may be a busy sometimes, but it was not really busy at all tonight. We had a very basic order of a few tacos and one burrito. Waited and waited and waited like many other times. Finally almost 40 minutes later our food came. I was shorted one taco, but by this time I was afraid to ask for anything else and wait another 40 minutes for the last Taco, so we took what we got and left it at that. The food was just mediocre at best, although the salsa good. The service was fair. I just don't understand these 30 or 40 minute Waits Time After Time when most times I go they are not busy at all. Very frustrated by this point, I decided not to wait another 20 minutes to get the check, so we just got up and went to the counter, paid the bill and left. I guess we will try back in a few more years and hope things get better and the management will be a bit more organized.
I'm tired of paying for food that is mediocre and not what I ordered. I thought I'd try a new place today and ordered several different foods. Ordered 2 different types of tacos and got 4 all of the same! I ordered a LG albondigas soup, it had 2 meatballs and one Chunk of Italian squash, what a huge disappointment! The beans that came with my carnitas plate were super greasy. Sad to say, not a good first impression, I won't be returning.
Grew up going to this place! Loved it. Sometimes it’s not as convenient for me to go inside so I choose drive-through however what’s the point of having a drive-through if you cant even acknowledge the people in the drive-through. Several occasions I’ve had to drive off because no one has acknowledged us being there, and or will say that they be right with us and we end up waiting 20 minutes just to get our order taken. It wouldn’t be so bad if they came back to the speaker and said hey, we’re a little busy, I haven’t forgot about you. Just a little frustrating. You might as well just do phone orders and have people come and pick up if you’re not going to service the drive-through. Sometimes it is busy and I can understand why they can’t get to the drive-through fast. However, the last time I went there were two cars max in the parking lot and one person that had just received their drive through order.
Really good food but terrible phone service. They take about 20 minutes to complete orders which is fine, but they also pick and choose when to answer the phone which bothers me. I have little ones, so waiting 20 -40 minutes in my car/crowded restaurant isn’t ideal. And if they are really busy, the wait could be 30-40 mins (which I don’t mind). If they do answer, they keep you on hold for 20 minutes and counting. I’m currently still on hold right now as I write this review and it’s been 25 mins and 30 seconds. If you can’t take phone orders, just say “ Hey, we are really busy and can’t take orders right now”. As a customer that usually orders $40-$60 worth of food for my family, you’d think they cared about the customer phone orders but seeing as I’m still on hold (27mins), I’ll just go somewhere else.
we have eaten inside the service was good the food good the drive thru is where the problems are no prices on the menu and when you call in the person is rude and acts like its a bother if you ask the price of something. when asked why they dont post prices was told they change them to often so just order and they will trll me at the window drove off without ordering
Went here and bought flautas and they were expensive and didn't have very much flavor. The guy in the drive thru was confused because he took my card and then gave it back (after paying) walked away from the window and came back like five minutes later asking me if I was there for a pickup. Kinda weird.
This use to be our go to place. The last three times my wife and I have gone, the wait is long, service is bad. They can't seem to decide if it's a restaurant or a drive thru. A few months back we went, I ordered my usual, carnitas plate. Thirty minutes later the waiter came to tell us they were out of pork. They charged us for the drinks, and we left. The next time was take out. Everything tasted like burnt, or old grease. The last straw was last week. We went in, not overly busy, ordered and almost an hour went by we still hadn't been served our meal. I told the waitress, three strikes you're out Chevo's.
Food is decent. They were busy and said it would be about a 20 to 30 minute wait. 55 minutes later I finally got my food. Had to ask what was going on after 45 minutes. I will give them a try again. Just not when they are busy. Decent food but not worth the wait.
I was a little upset, because the place needed alot of cleaning.possibly time to remodel as the high dessert is getting more traffic.
We had relatives staying with us from out of town and they wanted to try menudo. We ordered three bowls and with inflation factored in, it was not a cheap meal. However, the tripe was inedible; it smelled awful like it was not cleaned properly. We pointed this out to the server but no refunds were offered. I can understand if it was half eaten but the food was barely touched. My family and I have been patrons here for many years now and we love your food but not owning up to a mistake has changed my perception of this business. Hopefully you can take this constructively and make necessary changes.
The girl at the window is very nice and friendly. The meat was chewy. Their red sauce is absolutely disgusting. Their chips are really good and their green sauce is really good. Burritos are not something you would want to try here. Definitely not authentic Mexican food.
I had the fajitas. There was absolutely no flavor. the way the chicken looked prrcut and previouly froven. Beans were devious . Twenty-two dollars for my drink and fajitas. Never again. The waitresses were great. The food sucked. My son didn't even eat his burrito. The vegetables were cold and the meat was dry
To try and place an order over the phone is impossible it just goes straight to a full mail box they never answer then to wait 45 minutes in the drive thur is ridiculous. The food and service has gone down in the last 2 years
Tried this place out and ordered a Campechana. It was tasty but not worth the $15. It was all shrimp and some frozen pieces of octopus that looks like it was chewed on and served with old lime. The nachos were delicious with flavorful carne asada and their salsa is to die for. Customer service was great, very friendly staff.
2 Star’s due to poor service I’ve been to Chevo’s multiple times, and while the food is great, 4/5 or 5/5, the service has consistently been an issue. Today was the worst experience yet. It took 25 minutes to place my order and another 50 minutes to receive the food. After waiting that long, the staff wasn’t apologetic and even wanted to charge extra for tortillas that should’ve been included. To top it off, I never received the box I asked for. To their credit, a different waitress tried to make it right as we were leaving by offering a free drink, but by then, the experience had already been spoiled. Sadly, the poor service overshadows the quality of the food.
Service is very bad and slow they need good Management skills and someone to be on top of orders that people are waiting for. Its to busy for the workforce to handle and customers pay the price with long waits and long lines
Expensive I ordered two enchiladas shredded beef and there was more onions and tomatos peppers then beef! If I wanted a vegetarian enchilada I'd order one. Place used to be great
Waited for 27 minutes in drive thru with only one car in front of me, very slow. I got three shredded beef tacos and the beef was very bland. Salsa was just okay. The menu on the order sign was way too small to read anything. I'll not visit again unless I'm desperate. On the plus side the taco shells were fried in oil just like mom used to make. And no Pico de gallo
We used to love this place.. Our last visit there the other day took 40 minutes to get our food and we were the third table being served... All the rest of the tables were empty.. The food had a funny taste to it and the staff working had zero customer service skills. It was disappointing to say the least.
Worse place ever! Waitress had the nerve to give us attitude. Even from the beginning, when we got there, the waitress told us to sit wherever, so we sat down, and then she told us to move. So, my daughter and I had to move tables. We ordered and waited over 30 minutes! The waitress never checked on us once! She just kept serving customers that came in after us. We got up and told the waitress that we were leaving. My daughter has to go back to school. The waitress never apologized. In fact, she had the nerve to give me attitude. She literally got mad at us! I would love this place to get shut down.
My family has been eating here for over 20 years, and sadly, after the last couple of visits, I have to say I won't go back. Food quality has gone down, and so has the service. If there is an issue, they refuse to take accountability, even if you aren't asking to be compensated.
I went there today, and while in the drive-thru the management put a sign on the window. "Extra salsa is .35 please don't argue why!" Why would you be so rude to your customers. If I want to support your restaurant ! I'll get as much as I need for my food. No extra! Don't forget I can eat any where, you need us! Obviously not going back! And Yes, I did eat here often.
Terrible service do not come here. The first time I came here I was seated and 15 mins later no one came to get our drink order. This is the second time I came here only because of a gift card and I was seated and ordered our drinks, 15 mins passed with no drinks from the time we ordered. I got up and left and as I was walking out I saw our waiter getting a cup of water for herself instead. I rather throw my gift card away than use it for this place. Horrible disgusting service. It was only 2 other tables in use as well so it was not busy at all.
This place use to be good when the actual owner was running it, but now that his daughter took over, the service is just horrible. I been coming here for years , but today was my last day because I have never been racially profile as I was today. Just because am Mexican the supervisor (the owners daughter) made it very clear that we Mexicans are not welcome and only white people get the best service there. I hope the owner teaches his daughter how to treat everybody equally before he loses his business. To the owner Come to find out it's not even your daughter like she said she is. She is actually your daughter in law. We asked to speak to the owner to file a complaint and instead she told us to leave and never come back that we are not welcome there. That has not been the first time she has treated us like that. We just wanted to give the restaurant a second and third and fourth chance but trust me she made it very clear this time we won't be going back.
I hope this place closes down. I was happy to take my daughter out for a well deserved lunch. From the moment my daughter and I walked in, the rude waitress told us to sit anywhere so we sat down just for her to tell us to move. We were confused. The restaurant wasn't busy, but it took the waitress a long time to get our order. As we waited over 30 minutes for our food people started coming in and still no food. How difficult is it to make one burrito? Even asking the waitress where our food was she told us off! I was embarrassed that I took my daughter there.
Everytime i come the older mexican lady that works inside is very rude. And now they've updated the rewards system and erased all my points and wouldnt let me use my $10 off reward. Scam!!
My wife n I have tried this place a few times, hoping for the best. We were disappointed EVERY TIME! We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. We try and buy local. Service is always bad. Food is sub-par at best. Waiters n waitresses rather mingle laugh n giggle over their phone instead of doing their job. Poor, poor service and bad quality food. Don't waste your time and money here.
The staff is friendly, but the food quality does not match a the price. To the owners: stop using taco meat on your fajita plate and skip on the mystery sauce, cook fresh rice and lower the salinity of your food. For now i will not be returning to your business.
I went today for lunch and was served by Erika who was very rude and had an attitude with me from the moment I walked in. From the time I walked in no one greeted me for about 15 minutes. I finally asked for assistance and Erick‘s response was “it’s gonna be a while before someone tends to you”. Then finally after 25 minutes, she then came and I ordered my food. I asked her what is a popular item on the menu because it was my first time there she gave me a really bad response with an attitude that I did not appreciate. She responded “well everything” as if i knew because again I informed her it was my first time. The customer service was horrible and for that I will not be back. The food was okay.
We have been going here for probably 15 years, at least. Usually several times a month. They used to be both fast and provided great food. The last few years they have gotten unbelievably slow. While dining in it is now not uncommon to wait 45 minutes to an hr to get your food! Tonight I spent an hour and 45 minutes in the drive through with 2 cars in front of me! The last several times I went through the drive through, I spent at least an hour each time. I usually try to call in orders however tonight they did not answer, I tried calling 4 times over 30 minutes. No answer. You have now lost us as customers. Hopefully someone takes over who is able to better manage this restaurant and bring it back to what it once was.
Not even worth the 1 star! Rude waitress and undermanaged. Chicken was raw..waited 45 min for food....management needs more schooling...im surprised this place is still conducting buisness after all the health codes i seen being violated... cashing someone out then going to prepare someones foos without washing hands..wow!
Went in last night with two friends. Me and one of my friends both orderd shrimp skewers. So tough I could barely chew. So I ordered sum melted butter thought it would help but didn't. Told the waitress but all she did was take my plate and did not offer any discount or suggest anything else. Never said anything to my friend he ended up paying full price I finally got a discount. So very unprofessional. Rude and disrespectful. I won't ever go back.
Disgusting! Salsa was watery and tasted like plain stewed tomatoes. Meat was over cooked and burnt. Couldn’t even distinguish what type of meat it actually was. Clearly they have issues with food and their attitudes as there are signs posted at the register informing customers about their wait staff’s attitudes and if you didn’t like your order. Not professional. Extremely long wait for food. Even if it is made to order, the wait is beyond reasonable. Don’t waste your money here! Go some place else!
Never got sat. Worst experience ever. He got acknowledged at first, and after 15 mins of waiting, thinking they were getting tables ready for us, I asked if it was going to be ready soon and turns out they were never getting tables ready. We asked about how much longer it would be, and they said it was going to take a while. Being that there were multiple tables empty. If I could give a 0, I would have. Worst customer service, I've ever had. I've heard nothing but good things about the food, so I was bummed we didn't get to eat there.
They are stingy with to go food order nachos and they only put a pinch of asada meat on them And light cheese nothing else on top 😑why call them nachos if they are nothing on them why charge that much if you don’t put nothing on them ? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️do better
brought the food to my grandma and nana in law at the hospital and when we got there the soup was leaking everywhere. When we opened the bag we saw that the soup had literally melted the cup and poured all over everything. That is beyond careless. There is absolutely no excuse for food being overheated to the point that it melts its own container. That is not just sloppy, it is incompetent. On top of that the tacos we paid for were completely missing from the bag. We paid for food that we never received and the rest of the order was destroyed. So not only did they forget items, they also ruined what was actually in the bag. What makes this worse is the response. My wife has been a customer for years. When she called and explained exactly what happened, the worker said she would speak to the manager. The manager’s response was that there was nothing they could do. Nothing. That tells you everything you need to know about how they value their customers. Any half decent restaurant would have replaced the food or offered credit immediately. It is basic customer service. Instead they chose to take our money and do absolutely nothing to fix their mistake. This was careless, unprofessional, and handled with zero accountability. Losing loyal customers over something so simple to fix is embarrassing. We will not be coming back and I would seriously question ordering from here unless you are okay paying for food you might not even receive.
Blatantly disrespected me because I asked for a drink refill and didn't know that they charged. I explained that i hadn't been charged before, but okay.. Woman sitting down behind him, out of nowhere, rudely.. started making remarks that I couldn't afford it. The interaction with them both very quickly escalated, and I promptly left the store . Silly and childlike behavior. Stay away from this place.
We drove almost an hour to eat here from a recommendation on my birthday today. I got a chili Verde burrito. 1st couple bites the lettuce tasted dirty. Got around 1/4 way through it. To bite down on a rock inside my burrito. Yes a rock. Chipped my wisdom tooth. I immediately stood up in pain. Not 1 waiter came to ask me if anything was wrong. When i showed them they basically denied it was in their food. I ended up leaving and paying for my girlfriend's food. And she has been sick for the last couple hours now. I do not recommend this place their B grade need to be an F. There was also dried beens and rice all over the floors. I noticed while in pain. The rock i broke in half are on the right side of the plate in the picture
