We will definitely go back to Olaf’s! We wanted to go somewhere different for dinner, so we took the short drive over to Clifton. We had heard great reviews of Olaf’s, and we were not disappointed. Making dinner reservations online was a breeze, and we were greeted like long-lost family when we arrived. Cocktails were spot-on. The Very Berry Martini was sweet and refreshing, the Paloma Spritz was light and crisp, and the Island Green Bliss was a tropical treat. Appetizers were amazing! We opted for the beef tips flatbread and crab cakes. The flatbread was crispy and perfectly charred and had a savory flavor with a sweet finish. I would put the crabcakes up against any 5-star seafood restaurant’s. Hands down some of the best crabcakes ever. The main course selections were salmon and wagyu steaks. The saffron sauce on the salmon was incredible! The wagyu was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And as if we weren’t stuffed enough, we opted for dessert. The crème brûlée was the perfect temperature—cool on the bottom and perfectly toasted on top. The bourbon pecan pie cobbler took the cake, though. Served in a hot skillet and topped with vanilla bean ice cream—holy smokes! The food, service, and atmosphere rival any “high end” restaurant. Thanks for a memorable evening in Clifton, Olaf’s! We’ll be back!

Date night on Halloween = We sat on the patio judging costumes like we had a seat on the Addams Family council. 🤷🏻‍♀️🖤🎃 Food slapped, cocktails behaved just enough, and Andrea deserves a raise. Memorable? Absolutely. We’ll be back — so be ready. 😌

let me start by saying that the food was great and the service was excellent, I couldn't help but notice that my drink tasted a bit off, something wasn't quite right. I ordered a dr pepper but the moment the fizz molecules hit my nostrils I was hit with an aura I hadn't felt since my the passing of my great guatamalean friend, I could have sworn they gave me dr.perky instead there is no other beverage in the realm quite like dr.perky, I'm not upset or anything I just felt like relapsing in that very moment and wish I was told upfront what I was being served.

Food was outstanding!! We have been wanting to come for months now and drove 45 minutes to come and we’re not disappointed!! Crybabies cornbread, steak flatbread and queso and chips was so so good!! Also the ribeye, wedge salad, Mac & Cheese!!! Great job. Will be back.

AMAZING! Jen was absolutely SO awesome! We loved the crab cakes, asparagus, ravioli, and fettuccine alfredo. Our drinks were fantastic as well. We recommend the the blueberry mojito, jalapeño olive martini, and (don’t know the proper name) coffee shot!! The service was PERFECT and we will totally be back!!!!!

Wow. We went on the final night of the square location being open. The service was phenomenal and the food was just as amazing. Thank you so much for catering to us and our dog, Penny. This place has us debating on uprooting our lives just to eat here again. I was born and raised in Iowa (land of more pigs than people) and the pork chop was just as good, if not better, than the ones we got from the butcher back home. Thank you so much for the service and amazing food. We hope to be back.

We have been to the new Olafs several times Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings. We've enjoyed the steaks, salmon, salads, side dishes and the burgers are amazing! Each and every time the entire experience was great. The food and service is excellent and they often have great live music. The manager, Jen works hard to make sure everything is great and everyone is well taken care of. In my opinion Olafs is the best high end restaurant in and around Bosque County! Enjoy

This was our first time eating at Olaf’s…. It was perfect. Chicken with capers was a new experience and one we plan to eat again soon. The steak was cooked to exactly what was requested. Staff was nice, professional and always available to help us. Cheesecake was yummy and enough for 2 of us with 1 slice. We will be back.

Everyone was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. A huge shoutout to Jenn, the General Manager — she’s an absolute rockstar! You can tell she truly cares about both her team and the guests. Her leadership shines through in the smooth service and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the entire restaurant. Jenn even stopped by our table to check in personally, which made the experience that much more special. The food was incredible, the vibe was perfect, and the service was top-notch. If you’re in Clifton, do yourself a favor and stop by Olaf’s — you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit!

We had a great time here. We made reservations so we were seated immediately. The wait staff was friendly and we enjoyed just the right amount of attention. The atmosphere was quiet. If there was music playing it was subdued, but I don't remember any music. Conversation at our table was easy and uninterrupted. The food was presented well and everything we ordered was delicious.

The Best Ever! I ordered Flour Chips and queso first. The chips were fresh-fried and the queso, delicious. My main course was Beef Lasagna.Best I've ever ate and really cheesy!!! It was served with a Chef salad and two-dinner rolls with honey butter...exceptional! And a non-alcoholic mojito and crème brulée to boot! Saweeeet! The waitresses were really sweet too and there was live music and it was a perfect addition!!! Fun times for my 44th!!! It'll be fun for you any day!!!!

We came here for a team dinner and Olafs did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and had a very attentive server. The Basil Lemon Bourbon Smash was the cocktail of choice for the table. We would have ordered them by the pitcher if allowed. I recommend the Wagyu sliders and flatbreads as appetizers. Favorite dinner plates around the table were the sirloin, lasagna, and burger. The staff allowed us to stay past closing to finish conversation. The hospitality was much appreciated.

They were informative, patient and professional. - The chicken was cooked to perfection. The flatbread was delicious. The salad w/ blue cheese was a pleasant surprise. - The interior was unique and definitely sets the place apart from a traditional restaurant experience. The Bad: - For the price point, the meal portions were rather small in my opinion, particularly the salad and the shrimp appetizer (what can I say, I enjoy shrimp and need more of it! =) Overall: I'll definitely be back to try the dine-in experience, but overall, the take-out experience was pleasant and convenient. Rode tripped to Clifton to get burgers. But the burger place was closed. Found this place open on the map. Wife enjoyed her burger, my patty melt was ok.

We went for dinner and just let down unfortunately. The environment was nice and the waitress was very good. The food just missed the mark for me. We ordered crab cakes, ribeye, and a filet along with the salad and sides. The crab cakes did have flavor but the "kick" was missing, along with the crust. They were mushy and did not have a nice crisp crust. The filet was alright but the ribeye was horridness. The 16oz ribeye was rather thin, lacked flavor and was like chewing on rubber. The filet also lacked flavor but was a typical filet. The asparagus was good along with the macaroni and cheese, and salad. My biggest issue is the lack of clarity on the menu. It notes a base price for steak and then also gives a dollar price per ounce of a cut. I did not realize that the price per ounce was in addition to. The is the first I've ever seen a menu layout like that. The price point for the quality of the steaks were way off. I feel Texas Roadhouse has better quality and flavored steaks while still keeping the natural flavor of the steak. We may try again, but spending $300 on mediocre isn't what I prefer to do.
