Unique bar with a very friendly owner. The bar itself is painted all over in his drawings, it’s worth a visit. Food has been simply but very tasty. If you look for unique cocktails with a twist I can also recommend it.

Lured by the reviews, we called and yes, there was a table for three. Thank goodness! The food, the staff, the decor, everything was top notch! Kindness, a smile. The house wine was delicious. Agnolotti with butter and sage, handmade, and there were at least 20 of them on the plate, if not more! Delicious! And so were the gnocchi with ragù, soft and not too thick like you sometimes get.

You can eat really well for 12 euros for a fixed menu with a lot of choice and quality. The atmosphere is spacious and comfortable. The staff is very courteous and relaxed. I found it good for lunches on the go. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We stopped in on our way to a rustic, family-run trattoria. Everyone was truly courteous and friendly. I had the Alba-style carpaccio: it was so good I ordered it twice; the meat melted in my mouth. The wines by the glass were also excellent. Highly recommended; if I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

Located opposite the Cerro Tanaro train station, this trattoria has everything it takes to deserve its 5-star rating. The restaurant is spacious and well-maintained, and the staff is very courteous and helpful. Regarding the food, I must admit I was very satisfied. The dishes, besides being meticulously prepared, are also delicious and of high quality. The menu is quite varied, more than enough to satisfy even the most discerning palates. The prices are in line with the quality of the service. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it.

Found it by chance during a winery tour and it was a wonderful surprise. The agnolotti deserve a round of applause! Homemade. Very pleasant home cooking. Easy parking using the one at the station next door. Well-maintained restrooms. A great lunch stop. The digestive sweets offered at the end were also special, also homemade.

Amazing bar, stylish and cosy in a beautiful punk/elegant english style. The barman suggests you the perfect cocktail for your tastes and they are absolutely fantastic! I tried a Negroni variation with irish whisky, vermouth and olive salamoia. Outstanding. They have some seats outside, deep in the countryside, where you can enjoy your cocktail between a nice chat and the frogs singing in the pods around the place. I was really shocked to find such quality in a small village like this. Continuate così ragazzi!

Ferragosto 2012, come sempre nei giorni festivi decido di 'visitare' un ristorante, una trattoria non necessariamente blasonata bensì un luogo fuori dal caos turistico, alla ricerca di un pranzo di qualità senza imbarcarmi in spese folli. Se anche voi cercate questo la Trattoria Aurora fa per voi, immersa nella campagna astigiana vicina alla stazione ferroviaria, in un ambiente moderno ha cambiato gestione da poco più di 6 mesi rinnovando il locale rendendolo piacevole e spazioso. Sarete accolti da persone giovani e capaci che vi serviranno con premura e rapidità, attenti alle vostre esigenze. Passando al menù direi che rimane nella tradizione: antipasti di affettato, prosciutto e melone nel periodo estivo, salame cotto e crudo, lardo squisito che si scioglieva in bocca, peperoni con una salsa leggerissima, tartre di carne cuda condita con ottimo olio extravergine. I primi sempre classici, gnocchetti al polmodoro e/o agnolotti al burro e salvia (pasta ripiena tipo ravioli). Secondi piatti roast beef e coniglio: io ho preso quest'ultimo, perfetto sia nella cottura che nella preparazione, il tutto con contorno di verdure, patate e carote passate in padella! da leccarsi i baffi. Volendo c'è la possibilità di assaggiare il formaggio, robiola di Roccaverano che viene servita col miele ma che secondo me è ottima anche al naturale. Avete ancora appetito? Capitolo dessert, mangerete un tris composto da torta bunet ed uno che non ricordo, accompagnato da un bicchiere di Moscato che viene prodotto in zona. Un angolo paradisiaco del palato, dove uscirete sazi ma senza sentirvi strapieni, dove il vino Barbera, Dolcetto o Nebbiolo la fa da padrone, ricordiamo che qui si produce la Barbera che ben si accompagna ai piatti della cucina piemontese! Tutto questo direte chissà quanto costa! il menù degustazione è a 30 euro, giusto, uscirete soddisfatti e ritornerete. Ricordarsi di prenotare sempre, buon appetito!

Ho mangiato bene, il personale è gentile e veloci nel servire. Ho scelto una bottiglia di dolcetto veramente buono. Consiglio sicuramente.

Ho visitato questa trattoria l estate scorsa niente da dire tutto ok per quanto riguarda la pulizia la cucina ma devo dire che il padrone di casa e cioè il gestore più anziano sia un pochino poco educato verso la clientela e mi riferisco ad una compagnia di operai che credo frequenti questo locale con molta frequenza, di questi tempi meglio tenersi stretti i clienti perché si fa più presto a perderli che a trovarli basta solo un pochino di educazione. ... a buon intenditore poche parole.. ci tornerò ? Non credo odio le persone maleducate anche se la cucina ...
