Five stars truly isn’t enough to capture the experience we had at Crispina Ristorante & Pizzeria last night. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were blown away by the entire experience. One of the first things you notice is the decor, which is incredibly inviting and warm. It strikes that perfect balance between being upscale and approachable, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere that makes it an absolute must-visit for a special date night. We started our meal with a spread of the Caesar salad, a comforting bowl of lentil soup, and the calamari. The calamari was exceptionally light and fresh, but the real star of the show was the Bolognese. It is rare to find a sauce with that much depth; you can tell the kitchen prioritizes high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques. To round out the evening, we indulged in the Tiramisu for dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish. The drink menu is equally impressive. We ordered the Italian Margaritas and the PiggyBack Old Fashioned—both were crafted so perfectly that they actually prompted two additional visits to our table just to keep the rounds going! A huge shoutout goes to the entire team, whose hospitality made us feel truly appreciated as guests. The service was attentive without being overbearing, which only added to the wonderful vibe of the evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit. If you are looking for authentic Italian flavors and a beautiful setting, this is the place!
Found this place by coincidence. We were served even though we didn't have a reservation. The setvice was fantastic. The food was delicious. We had the bruschetta as appetizers and they were delicious. I also had the ravioli and it was just as good. Restaurant is moving locations due to building demolition, but it will be close by. Highly recommend it.
I can only say great things about this restaurant. I’m in town for business and ordered out from this place. Everything I ordered came as expected and was packaged nicely. The minestrone soup was some of the best I’ve had. The whole cherry tomatoes were a great touch. I could eat this soup every day. Additionally I had a side order of spaghetti with garlic and olive oil. It was delicious as well. I will definitely dine here next time in town (hopefully I can eat in restaurant next time). Go give this place some support. 10/10
I sat at the bar for dinner and everything was great! The food is incredible and staff was very friendly
Weekday lunch, arrived past noon but was not crowded. However many tables filled up before we finished. The atmosphere is very bright, and classy. Menu has many items that look very authentic. I ordered a lunch pizza with soup, hubby had lasagna and salad. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. serving sizes were great. We will definitely return, and highly recommend.
Great Vinings upscale Italian restaurant with amazing owner, staff and full house enjoying excellent service and delicious entrees.
I've been here several times for weekday lunch, and it’s consistently an excellent experience. The food is delicious, the service staff is top-notch, and the prices are impressively reasonable—especially given the generous portion sizes. I almost always leave with leftovers. Highly recommend the Rústico sandwich. Can’t wait to come back again.
This Italian restaurant is a hidden gem. All of their pasta is hand-made and gluten free. The flavor of our 2 pastas was amazing. I would come back
The place was impeccable. True 💎 gem! My service was outstanding by Bryan, he was extremely welcoming and attentive, just flowed smoothly with all my needs. I started out with a bowl of pasta e fagioli little different from what I've eaten before but the cannellini beans with added mussels just Devine with a depth of flavor. Homemade Ravioli with Spinach and Salmon sautéed in the sauce with such unctuousness melted so creamy delicate and light in your mouth. Each bite was just a party of flavors. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.
"10-5 stars" highly recommend! staff is respectful, helpful, and have quality customer service. Atmosphere was authentic and relaxed, food was outstandingly sensational! Highly recommended the Margherita Pizza! To top it all off their selection of fine wines has a vast category to choose from. This has to be one of Atlanta's hidden gems when it comes to fine Italian dining!
Best Pizza we had since visiting Italy! Freshest ingredients, perfectly wood fired cooked dough! Soups were seasoned perfectly! Burrata was fresh and yummy! Wish we lived closer we would become regulars!
I made a reservation and my table was ready in time. Thanks to the very courteous employee to set that up. First time visit and we went for family dinner. We were very excited to try this place since we saw it on Atlanta Eats and it was spot on. The service was phenomenal and the food delicious. They bring you bread with Olive oil and cracked pepper...yummy! From Antipasti we ordered Zeppole E Croquettes....it was ok nothing fancy. Then as main dish Lasagna, Pappardelle Pompei and Bucatini all Amtriciana. Huge portions, legit pasta with fresh ingredients. Delicioso!! And for dessert the Ricotta Cheesecake....boom at another level. The place get a little busy so maybe plan ahead. We will definitely go back.
Amazing pasta and Pizza. It was the best date and best Italian food I had so far in Atlanta
Does Cobb County have good Italian food? On one side loyalists will say the big place at the mall is great on the other side folks love the red saucy joints. One dinner at Crispina is enough to settle the question. At Crispina, Italian doesn’t necessarily mean, cheesy or rich. The owners, Andriano Djula and Raffaele Crispino use pristine ingredients, vegetables, and treat them minimally, but perfectly. On Monday night the special is the Chicken Parmesan. The dish is bold and perfectly flavored. The presentation is extraordinary. Our pie tonight was the Pizza Vegetariana. I challenged you to find a better brick oven prepared pie. This kind of cooking -with humility and simplicity is what Cobb county needs. One look at the menu proves that simplest is best. They are not reinventing the Italian dinner meal here. They don’t need to. There is a reason why Crispina Ristorante is perpetually busy and the best reason possible is because the food is that good. Highly recommend 10 stars
Crispina Restorante & Pizza Pizzaria was delicious. Thus was a random stop due to timing of where we were. I had the veal which I enjoyed along with appetizer. The pizza is delicious too. The service wasn't the best, but not close to worste it was on the later side so I won't complain. Definitely worth the money.
Homestyle Italian + Great Service = Count us in!! Crispina has become a new favorite and I’m so ready to return to try the dinner menu. I’m confident it will be just as delightful and tasty as The service, atmosphere, and food all complement each other. So glad my coworker recommended this place as it has made it to my top faves for sure. Review video posted on Instagram @sh3_3ats
Scott ,our server , played a key role making our first dining experience here exceptionally wonderful! My wife has many diet issues and he and the kitchen staff accommodated her no salt diet perfectly. The pizza was perfect. The tiramisu was amazing and the service was friendly and perfect. We will be back often to this neighborhood gem.
This place is always great. Traditional and tasty. I switched it up and got the octopus. OMG! I have never had anything so tender and tasty. Not at all the usual consistency. My friend got the eggplant Parmigian and as an Italian, she was more than pleased.
What a fantastic location to have an excellent dinner with friends. We had a party of 20 (of course, we had reservations,) and the service couldn't have been better! The staff was very attentive, orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived quickly. The food was very, very good. Everyone was very pleased with the experience and the food. I definitely recommend Crispina's. We will certainly be back!
This is a hidden gem and if you haven’t tried their food you should! Ate there multiple times and ordered via uber eats and everytime the food stays hot and fresh. The prosciutto panini is one of the best I’ve ever had and the portions are very fair. Definitely recommend for some solid authentic italian food!
The place can be a little cleaner. I ordered a side of house salad but got a cesar. I still give them 5 stars because the food is amazing. I got the tagliatelle alfredo and it was the best I had. It is full of flavor but no too oily. I will try the pizza tomorrow.
Visited this place last night. Service was phenomenal, ambiance was nice and the food was amazing. I had the ravioli and my wide had the Tagliatelle pasta We started with the calamari and caprese salad. Everything tasted fresh. We will be going back.
Superb service. Seated immediately on Thursday night at 8pm. Very attentive. Order was accurate. Food came out quick. Asked for a wine we would like after mentioning some we did and the recommendation was spot on. I really can't praise the service enough. Food is above average. Ordered calimari and callamatta (sp?). The sauce was amazing. The noodles were fairly average. Meat was above average. Especially loved how well the calamari and shrimp were prepared. Price is on par for the area and nice italian. Which means above cost of other places. Covid wise they attempt to do well. Tables are very spaced out. Staff seemed to mostly wear masks although I noticed some of the cooks not wearing any. I did not see any wiping of high contact areas but was not watching for it. They do not enforce mask wearing for patrons if they enter without or walk around without one.
wow excellent Italian Resturant. Authentic great salads, main course and desert all great. Wine list extensive.
First time here and let me say wasn't dissapointed at all. The food, drinks, and service was amazing! Nice area outside to sit was perfect!!! Will definitely be back again soon!!
Excellent Italian food. Service also top notch. Our waiter, Antonio, was helpful in answering any questions, and gave recommendations. I tried the chicken parmesan, which was possibly the best chicken parmesan I've had ever. My wife's dish I cannot remember the name of, but it was also fantastic. Vast selection of wine, and a great ambiance. If you're craving Italian and near Vinings, this is the place to go.
Food was so good our new spot in Atlanta where you can go with family, so friendly personal ! Pizza was just 10 stars out of five!
Godd food, great service and nice atmosphere. I enjoyed my calzone (:
This is my new favorite restaurant in Atlanta! Loved the food, the ambiance, and the service! The ricotta cheesecake is to die for. Amazing!
Lovely date night here…. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend coming here for homemade Italian dishes😊
Amazing place with tasty food and extremely good prices. We ordered the fried calamari and the Capriccio Di Traiano Pizza. Both were amazingly tasty! We paid a total of under $30. We were full (2 people) and got a few slices of pizza in a box. Recommend! Congratulations to the owners! Keep on the good work! 👍🏻😉
We love crispina! Their lasagna is one of the best ever! Their service is really good with all the servers very friendly!
Absolutely amazing experience! Food was delicious! Service was top tier. Our party of 12 really enjoyed everything. The staff was so personable and warm. Looking forward to visiting again!
New location is so nice! Great ambiance. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 I love that they make their own pasta in-house.
Very nice Italian cuisine! Pasta and bread made in house. Brick oven for pizza and a large section of food to order from. Only missed one star because my husband's meatball is a lol bit better! Lol
Enjoyed dining alfresco on a rare low-humidity day in August! Our food was wonderful and our waiter Evan was fantastic, he anticipated our every need! Was pleasantly surprised, will be back.
Had our FRIENDSGIVING here and everything was awesome! Kevin was so knowledgeable and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will be returning.
Staple. Legit. Fresh, delicious food. Strong and value driven Beverage Program. Amazing staff.
I love this restaurant. The food is always delicious. The atmosphere: intimate and a total Italian vibe. Linda puts the icing on the cake with her attentiveness, friendly welcome and customer service. My husband and I always enjoy.
Very nice experience. Food was good. Got very busy after we got there on a Thursday. Reservations might be smart depending on the day and time. Also got a bit noisy making it hard to converse when we were there but overall a great experience.
Our first visit to the new location. Devon was our waiter and provided excellent service. The special beet and goat cheese salad was exceptional and must be added to the menu as a fantastic addition to their excellent menu. We will continue our support of this great neighborhood gem!
I come here every so often with my significant other and I am always reminded about how great this location is. The food is always excellent, the service is very good, and the manager is always checking up on customers and is typically always on site. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit as it is a hidden gem.
Cute place! Typical Italian fare. I got the chicken cacciatore, with the potatoes on the side. Very flavorful dish! My husband got the veal Adriano and said it was good. I had been here once several years ago and had the salmon dish with spinach and potatoes - another good dish. They do carry a GF pasta but i didn’t try a pasta dish.
The food was good but lacked seasoning. Everything seemed fresh, the pasta was cooked well, and the scallops were cooked well. The drinks were tasty and well sized. Again, the only issue I have is with the lack of seasoning a little salt, pepper, and herbs would go a long way. Overall good experience.
Excellent Italian food in Atlanta. I went on a Saturday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the very cozy authentic feel of the restaurant. We tried both pizza and pasta and neither disappointed! The pizza was fresh, nice flavor, great crust! The pasta was amazing, tasted like it was made in house, and the flavor was great! Our server was awesome and very attentive. Will definitely come back again!
Happened upon this place with no wait on Mother's Day made it great! Very good table bread & olive oil, bruschetta, calamari, veal, scallops, pizza, cheesecake, gelato... all really good and Mother was happy!
Food was good and if the service had been better I would likely give them 5 stars. The waitress didn’t come around to check on us, we had find her when we needed anything and when we ordered the dessert the young lady that brought it our dropped an entire ramekin of balsamic glaze on my husband and then couldn’t stop giggling about it and then ask “uhhh do you need napkins?” OF COURSE WE DO! Hahah but someone else who appeared to be a manager was apologetic as we were leaving. But the food was good! We had the muscles and clams appetizer the sauce was amazing!!! They put two pieces of bread in it that just soaks up the sauce and it was delicious! The burata appetizer was also delicious! We would definitely get it again. I was happy to find a wood fired pizza place in Kennesaw we would definitely come back for the pizza! And the fettuccine was also good!! I was sad to see how busy Olive Garden was compared to Crispina. If you are debating between the two go to Crispina!!!! You will not be disappointed. Oh and don’t forget the tiramisu!! Too good not to try. The “gelato” didn’t taste anything like gelato though.
The food was okay. The place was nice. I have mixed feelings about the staff. The vibe was weird and you could sense some tension between the waiters and the manager. It was like the manager was trying too much to connect with the rest of the staff and some of the servers even avoided the manager whenever they saw the manager waking toward them. One of the waiters was also making inappropriate jokes/comments to others and you could see some of them being uncomfortable. Their whole dynamics was weird and made my experience even more uncomfortable since there were very few costumers so it was easy to pick up on the vibe. I’m not sure if I would be back.
We dined on a Saturday for dinner and overall didn't enjoy the food. Our server was pleasant. I ordered the Ravello pizza and my partner ordered a build your own with ham and olives. The pizza... The toppings were tasty and of a high quality, but the pizza was SO soggy. They warn you that you will need a knife and fork, but this was beyond just thin and the bottom crust was more like dough due to the moisture of the toppings. I'm not sure if they just don't drain the olives or what, but my partner's pizza had actual pools of moisture on top. Maybe it is the warm pizza on top of the ceramic plate trapping the moisture and it would be better as takeout - who knows, but overall it was unfortunately not pleasant. We also noticed shortly before our food arrived that the other tables arriving after us received a bread basket as they were seated, but we didn't. Not sure if we were supposed to ask or what. I saw some other tables order pasta dishes and calamari that looked very good. I would consider returning to try those, but I would certainly not order pizza again.
This was our first time here, the food was ok, expensive, but not bad. The waiters even though tried, need a lot of training, we saw several things that cannot be done. The desserts definitely need to be improved, specially the tiramisú that was served frozen. Finally, the restaurant has its potential, but it's not there yet, I don't think we'll be back though.
