Ranger Station put on an incredible Pedro Furtivo tequila tasting! The tequila was amazing, and the food pairings made the night even better. The cucumber soup was refreshing, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the dessert was the sweetest finish. Great drinks, great food, and a welcoming vibe — can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been here a few times and it’s always a great atmosphere! The bartenders know their stuff and their drinks are very creative. Great place to meet friends or have a cute cozy date night! The couches are very comfortable, but I enjoy sitting at the bar so I can watch the different drinks be made!

We were in town for the holiday weekend and looking for a fun vibe to get away from the family and kids and this was THE place to be! Delicious holiday drinks, incredible service from the most fun people, and a shotski! This place makes you forget about the family drama. You’ll never want to leave.

Wow- what a nice hidden gem. Speak easy upstairs in LadyBird. We saw people walking upstairs, but we didn’t know where they were going. We walked upstairs and was pleasantly surprised with the cigar lounge vibe. It looked old school, but retro and new. The bartender was an African-American male, and he was indeed a professional. Both of our drinks were top-tier. Plenty of variety seating for multiple vibes. Spacious and with a live DJ plenty of areas for photos. Nice menu that’s totally different from the bar downstairs. The bread pudding was a bit dense, but it was beautiful, had the right taste, and a good price just wish it was softer. We are definitely coming back to try more things and probably get the same drinks lol. It was really an experience to the eyes. Great restrooms and great service.

Ranger Station is a great little hidden spot above Ladybird with a cozy, dimly lit lodge-like vibe. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for a relaxed night out. Terry was fantastic and really stood out. He was friendly, personable, and clearly knows his stuff. I ordered an espresso martini and it was excellent, easily one of the best I’ve had. Great drinks, great service, and an all-around great experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Upon my entrance into this establishment of spirits and society, I was at once struck by its singular ornamentation. The very walls and floors are clad in timber, as though some gallant forester had felled an entire copse and, with deliberate hand, conveyed it indoors for the delight of the patrons. Far from presenting the appearance of rough carpentry, the effect is one of curious refinement, a rustic grandeur which charms the eye and enlivens the imagination. The atmosphere therein recalls an elder time, imbued with the comfort of familial hearths long past. Indeed, it called to mind the parlour of one’s venerable grandsire, though in this instance the wireless contraptions of modern amusement had been wisely displaced in favour of a well-drawn draught. The seating, moreover, affords such comfort that one might recline for several hours in discourse or contemplation without incurring the least protestation from his/her person, save perhaps the stiffening of the limbs which accompanies all extended leisure. Of the potations offered, I must remark with some admiration upon their classification. The proprietors, with an ingenuity both practical and considerate, have seen fit to arrange their libations by strength of spirit, ranging from those modest in potency, suited to the man who would preserve sobriety of mind to those of such formidable character as to bear a fellow swiftly toward oblivion, recollections of the night carried off like smoke upon the breeze. It is a scheme at once novel and eminently neat, deserving, I think, of emulation elsewhere. In summation, I may declare without hesitation that this is, in the truest sense, a bar most proper: unencumbered by frivolous pretension, sound in its provisions, and possessed of a charm both rustic and enduring. I anticipate with pleasure many a return, and shall not hesitate to commend it to people of discernment who find themselves in search of honest refreshment.

We had a great visit. We had a 6pm reservation for Friday night. We were seated when we arrived and we're at a table with a couch and two comfy chairs. Plenty of space! The holiday cocktails and ski shots were great. Very festive with all the lights and theme drinks. They have done an excellent job. The food and drinks were tasty. I had the blizzard which was kind of a coconut margarita with a little spice. I also had the onion rings and butternut squash. Both very tasty!

First time at Ranger station and we already can’t wait to come back! We went on a quieter day (still made a reservation) and absolutely loved the vibe of the place! The ski lodge/speak-easy/lounge atmosphere made for a great date night. Jessie was a fantastic server and we absolutely loved talking to him! Grateful to him for making us feel so welcome! See you again soon Ranger Station!

I have wandered through many a tavern in fair Atlanta, yet Ranger Station doth bear a rare distinction. Behold, its rustic raiment of timber walls and beams doth whisper of days long past, when men quaffed ale by candlelight and not by neon’s vulgar glow. The woodwork is so lovingly contrived that even a carpenter’s ghost would nod in approval. The seating, verily, is most agreeable, one may plant one’s rump upon yon bench and not rise till the cock doth crow. As for the potions, they did not betray me; nay, they danced upon my tongue like sprites in midsummer revelry. Alas! The kitchen, did slam shut its doors at the stroke of ten, and we, tardy knaves, did arrive late. Yet mark me, return I shall, for victuals as well as drink! Aye, I commend this tavern to all who seek a draught with rustic charm and a merry spirit. 🍻

Very very cool atmosphere and a nice selection of cocktails. Our server was nice, and there was the perfect amount of people in the bar. They also have matchboxes!! Can't wait to go back and try some of the food items.

New favorite speakeasy in Atlanta. The atmosphere is awesome, the drinks are great, and the food is even better. Don't miss out on the truffle fries or the smores pie. Best dessert I've had in a while in Atlanta, the marshmallow and chocolate is so good.

I’ve been enjoying a few nights a week here for a cocktail. It’s close to home and has a very relaxed, comfy atmosphere. The onion rings are 🔥 The bar staff know their stuff and the back bar is well stocked.

I went here last night and it was entirely a vibe. I absolutely loved it. It’s completely different from Ladybird and just has such an intimate and cozy atmosphere. I love this speakeasies are popping up more and more in atlanta. This place has a sort of cabin vibe. The music wasn’t so loud to where you have to scream to talk. Our bartender, Cameron, advised us that they really try to focus on not allowing it to get to an overflowing capacity to where there would be people standing. They prefer everyone has a seat. This is to ensure everyone gets good service and I really appreciate that. I was out with a friend and Cameron made us the drink special of the day. I don’t exactly remember the name of it but he said it was their version of a Manhattan. I think it was called Dead Man’s Coach or something lol. FORGIVE ME for butchering the name. Either way. It was so well made. I did NOT want to leave. Will definitely be back this weekend. I didn’t get to eat anything but the food looked good. I also loved the way it smelled in there. It was like citrusy and leathery and woodsy. Such a cozy combo. The ONLY thing I would consider somewhat of a concern is that, since it’s in the back of Ladybird, you go up a set of stairs to enter and IF you get too drunk/have heels on, it could potentially be an embarrassing moment if you fall or something. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints and I’m not even complaining about that. Just mentioning it for the folks who like to get drunk and struggle to walk in heels or keep their balance lol. Hope y’all e joy the quick flicks I took! (:

Loved this place!! Unique atmosphere with very good food/drinks. Ambience: Swanky hunting cabin vibes. Super chill and dim lit. A cool blend of laid back and upscale. Both fancy attire and casual stylish fits could fit the atmosphere. Very attentive & courteous service! Food/Drink: The menu is so fun. Read all the descriptions! My favorite drinks were the El Capitan (pictured), Kalalau, and High Plains Drifter. The truffle fries and s’mores pie were also delicious. Want to go back and try more! Price: Mid range and well worth it! Parking: There’s a paid lot in the back or you can valet. Or go for any street parking on the nearby streets.

“Where do the park rangers go after hours, after a long day out in the wilderness? Then I started imagining: what if there was a hidden attic bar at the rangers’ hideout where they could go to spin a few good records, knock back some strong cocktails, maybe play a few rounds of poker, and generally let loose in the company of their own?” Nailed it. Atlanta's newest "hidden" cocktail bar is serving up all the retro "macrame owl on the wood panel wall" dark & moody vibes you 70's babies know & love. Cheers! (Psst. Don't sleep on the burger)

HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER was an amazing cocktail, so unique, I’ve never had a drink like it. Retro basement vibes, very dark and cozy. Food was not very good, fries were good though! Atmosphere, Service and cocktails overall excellent.

The ambiance was spectacular. Kass was my bartender and she was so knowledgeable and talented at her craft. I had 12 oysters for $1 each for their happy hour 5pm to 7pm. Fantastic experience good job Ranger Station.

Alessandro & Desirea are both phenomenal bartenders. Very personal. Have immaculate and attentive service. They walked us through their gin list and made sure our steak was cooked to our liking. Will definitely be back again.

Terry was absolutely amazing! He was our concierge for the evening if you can say it that way and he elevated the entire experience which already was above the average. If give a hire rating if allowed. You enjoy the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. Have a drink for me and enjoy

Very cute bar. Drinks were great, food was good. Service however- AMAZING. Terry waited on me and was kind, attentive and genuinely cared about the service he provided. The manager on duty was also wonderful as I overheard him addressing a hiccup with another table. Would truly recommend stopping by here for some holiday cheer- do make a reservation if possible :)

What a wonderful experience! Wonderful cocktails and friendly environment. Terry was our bartender and made us laugh and feel welcome. Highly recommend to anyone in the beltline!

Sometimes you have an experience that's almost too good. It's hard to write a review without just sounding like I'm gushing. The vibes were wonderful the music was exactly right for the space. But the star was definitely the bartenders and of course the drinks they were slinging. I had a classic gin Martini that was surgical, and a house cocktail that came with candied bacon as the garnish (worth the cost of the drink on its own. It's a pity this was my first stop in Atlanta because I have a hard time believing anywhere else I'll go will measure up.

Great food and atmosphere. I like the outdoors theme and all the creativity. It's also conveniently located on the Beltline. The food was delicious as well.

Thank you to Des and Jesse for a fun and relaxing experience. We had happy hour cocktails and French onion devil eggs (stellar). Ambiance is on point - feels like a relaxing mountain cabin vibe. Also, they have a record player with a bunch of classics to pick from!

Me and my boyfriend recently came here for a date night. firstly, the atmosphere is stunning. love the speakeasy vibe. We were greeted by the sweetest hostess ( she was blonde with a horse shirt), she immediately made us feel welcomed and got us seated quickly. They recommended us the espresso martini and we tried it first thing. it was INCREDIBLE!! Every other drink was fantastic but that was certainly a standout. Our server was amazing and so attentive. Can’t wait to come back! atmosphere 10/10 service 100/10 drinks 10000/10

The best new happy hour on the Beltline. The food and drinks were top quality. What really took it over the top was the bartender Kass. We really appreciated her knowledge of the the menu and the drinks. She recommended this cocktail with candied bacon that was incredible. Will definitely be back! Make sure to ask for Kass if she’s there

This bar has the best elements of your grandfather's garage in a cozy upscale lounge. The aesthetic is on point. They have excellent and unique cocktails on their rotating menu. They can also make top tier cocktails off menu. We have had Jesse several times and he has been an excellent server. I hope we get him next time. Definitely coming back and bringing friends. You should too.

I really really want to love the Ranger Station. However I can’t say I absolutely love it. The atmosphere is great and has so much potential but with its size it tends to be very very loud with their music and their live music. Their drinks are good and have great potential to get better, they tend to use a lot of pineapple in most their drinks. I would go again to show visitors but it’s not my top place. However if you go you should definitely try their house infused vanilla chartreuse!

Strongly suggest having a reservation or the wait is 30-45 min. We walked in but the hostess was not at her station there were empty seats so we took one until the waitress told us we had to get up. The drinks were good. The menu looks good but we didn’t stay long enough to try anything. Loved the Christmas decor.

J
Justin Nguyen (JNguyen20)

Certainly a cool spot but a bit expensive. They don’t let you stand so if you have a group larger than 8 people or so you will need to split up and make sure everyone is seated in a chair. Cool decor and delicious drinks

L

Very good and worth a visit! My slider was over cooked and potato undercooked but taste was there. The service was excellent and loved the vibe. Note...it is upstairs inside of Ladybird. Was super confused and took a minute to find. Will definitely be back!

Really cool tucked away bar along the belt line in Atlanta! Heard about this place online and had to go while in town for a couple days. Was in a cool, happening area and loved that it was tucked away in a brewery. They had a DJ going (chill vibes) and the cocktails were great. Very swanky spot! Only downside is they close super early for a bar and it was freezing inside.

E
Emily Smith

Cocktails are 10/10. Creative and interesting. Vibe is 10/10. Feels like you’re in Colorado. Food is 2/10. My $12 salad was pretty much just lettuce and dressing. Will be sticking to the cocktails from now on 👌🏼

E

Their Christmas popup is very cute. The decor is cozy, but if you go at a peak time, it will be loud and crowded. The cocktails were STRONG, and most of them are served cold. Service is slow. Food is good. Stop by for a drink but don’t expect too much

Atmosphere 8.5/10 This speakeasy stands out with its interior design and attention to detail of the theme. Some stuffed animals, leather chairs and some hunting equipment. Bar looks cool too - nice under light. One minus point for AC blowing in the face in certain spots/tables Drinks 5/10 Cocktails were not good at all. El capitan tastes bitter/sour and had a partially rotten leaf as garnish. The Human cannonball was ok but the flavor did not convince me either. Poor garnish and no coasters. Service 5/10 Poorly organized speakeasy - three girls at the front door put you on an ominous waitlist, which doesn’t make sense. We had to wait 40min outside and when we walked in, half of the seatings were empty. The comment was “it’s all based on waitlist”. The tables stayed empty like that for an hour btw… The system clearly doesn’t work. The waiting area outside is extremely loud (massive groups of trashed college kids on the weekend), which doesn’t set me in the right mood for a speakeasy. I just think that’s an unsuitable location for this speakeasy. Prices are slightly above average.

Nick Salyers

Two thumbs down. When we walked in the hostess was on the phone and did not even acknowledge us. We had a reservation, but she was very unbothered by our presence. Then we were seated at two tables for our reservation for four. Literally two separate tables that could not be moved closer together (tables were bolted to the floor). When the table for four opened up next to us, we asked if we could be moved and the hostess said we could not and proceeded to place a different party of four at the same table. The service was slow and the food, as always at Ranger Station, was overpriced and under portioned. To add insult to what was already a very poor experience, as we were finishing our meal our waiter came by and asked us if we’d like to order more drinks, we did, only for him to come back after 10 minutes, not with our drinks, but to tell us that our reservation would be over in 15 minutes. Overall, we expected to have a festive holiday experience and were instead given a vastly overpriced, and poor customer experience. We searched high and low for a Christmas bar to attend this holiday season, this reservation was available and it’s now clear why. We will not be returning.

B
Barb Johnson

TT was wonderful. Edit: We accidentally paid for the table next to us and have not been refunded. We had a reservation & a walk in was sat next to us. The codes to pay were switched (61A & 61B or 31A/B). We were told the first payment was voided, then we paid for our bill. The $141.73 charge for the other table has not been reversed. We have called & left messages, and sent emails. Clearly Ranger Station does not mind keeping your money around the Holidays. This needs fixed IMMEDIATELY.
