I ordered a steak ranchero burrito with cheese and guacamole and was amazed by the nearly 14” burrito that I received! It was big and delicious—definitely worth the $17 I paid for it. Great food and good value. Highly recommend, and I will be back!

a REAL taqueria! In these days of shrinkflation it’s becoming rare to find a genuine taqueria! And their vegetarian burrito is wonderful. On top of that, they don’t guard the excellent salsa behind the counter. They put out lots of salsa and chips.

This is my friends resteraunt and we make it a point to go here as often as possible. The added bonus is that the food is so amazing. Every single thing we have tried has been the most delicious. You should definitely go here if in the area. The drive up from Sacramento is well worth it.

Everytime I drive i-80 I stop here to get my Shrimp Quesadilla. The salsa is great, the wait time competes with and is at times even lower than nearby fastfood, staff are cool, and food is awesome.

I found this place shortly after moving up here in 2021. It is now 2025. They are still super consistent. My wife likes to get the super burrito with grilled chicken and avocado or guacamole or whatever it is... I usually get a super burrito with al pastor or carne asada. Tonight I was in the mood for something different. I talked to my buddy at the register and he said he thought I should try their Thai chicken burrito for the first time. This is not something I would normally pick but it was recommended and it was amazing! So much so, that I called him to let him know how good it was! I decided to also come on here and update my review! I should also mention that there are usually the same two people working the register. It's either a young man or a young lady and they are both the sweetest, most welcoming, hosts that a restaurant could ask for. The gentleman working in the kitchen are super kind and friendly, as well. This place DEFINITELY delivers exactly what you would want from a good Mexican spot. And apparently, they can make a hell of a Thai chicken burrito, too!! 😂 Thank you guys, for the last several years of great food. I wish we could eat there more often!

We go here every single Tuesday night for tacos. They run a special on Tuesdays and have $2 tacos. I will always recommend this place if you are in the area or feel like driving up to Auburn for amazingly great authentic Mexican food.

Make the 2 second drive off the freeway to come here if you are near or far, Jalisco has gained a new customer for years to come. They couldn't see me take my first bite, but if they could, all they would have seen is more than a couple dance moves. Stuff will make you do a jig. See you soon Jalisco, core memory unlocked. Pastor and Steak are in the on deck circle for our drive back to the Bay Area!

This used to be a great place to eat about 10 years ago. I was in the area so thought I would go again. The young lady taking orders was rude and this is what they pass off as a burrito bowl. They need to steep it up . There is a Mexican restaurant on every block doing much better than here.

Carne asada = good flavor. Rice = tastes like rancid fish oil. Highly recommend staying away from rice on your plate or your meal will be ruined.
