For the price you simply can’t do better. Come in with the right expectation and you’ll be very happy. This place doesn’t claim to be anything fancy or modern. Just Mexican food like my white mom used to make and I love it.
Used drive thru after soccer game at the local high school as did many others. We had chicken and beef tacos. We enjoyed our meal. Popular local restaurant. Disappointed the dining room closed at 9.
Tastes really good, just like the tacos my family used to eat. Not real Mexican food, very old school Americanized, but still delish! The tacos use those yellow corn taco shells like you but at the grocery store. Had tacos, burritos and nachos all are good.
Consistent quality in spite of how busy they stay, everyone is always pleasant and cheery. TACOS ARE BOMB. nothing fancy, any kind of meat you want as long as it's beef or chicken. But it's made with love served hot without having to wait to long. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, keep on looking. If you want a delicious healthy cheap taco bell alternative this is ur place.
Although they're understaffed, they still manage to quickly crank out killer food in the drive thru. Definitely get the super nachos. All for them swamp style if you want to keep your chips crunchy. So good!
We love Taco Tree. Their mild sauce is to die for and their burritos and nachos and cheese and tacos and cinnamon crisps are all delicious. Everything is great prices and it's a small little place with some seating and a drive thru. Every time we can we stop by! Nice local spot!
Every time we go to Auburn we have to go to taco tree love their food I wish there was one closer to us. There's taco shells tostada shells are just so light and crispy. It's a simple met menu but it's Way better than any drive-through you'll ever go to
I drive 28 miles to go eat here . Everything the serve makes it worth the drive . And the service is just as good .I love me some taco tree . Thank you guys for all you do .
Its like a small town version of Taco Bell. Better ingredients all around. Menu is small but good. Building could use updating, and when its busy the tiny location can be swarmed with cars backed up the street like an In & Out Burger.
This is my husband's favorite place to eat. We have to stop here whenever we're in the area. I am not a big fan of ground beef tacos and burritos, but it makes hubby happy.
We like this Taco tree and the other one in Auburn, CA on Dry Creek. The food is good, prices are reasonable and service is good.
I've literally been going to Taco Tree for as long as I can remember, and for a solid 20+ years now this place has never disappointed. I would only classify it as "fast food" because it has a drive-thru, but as far as food quality and flavor goes it puts other fast food competitors to shame. If you're an Auburn local, I'm sure you already know, and if you aren't, then this place is a must! You won't regret it.
Always a great place, glad it's in Auburn California,I live in grassvalley California ,but to feed the need, thank you Taco trees great staff, much appreciated and highly recommended, thank you for being the best in town, move to grassvalley please lol
Always great fast food. I’ll never eat Taco Bell again after eating here.
Delicious well proportioned food. Not skimpy with the ingredients for my taco and tostada. 😋. Employees were nice, fast, and the place is clean. The only suggestion I have is ..nothing! Lol. It was great.
You can’t beat this place for the price. It is a local favorite and is legendary. You can’t go wrong with any of the burritos or tacos. The food is made with real ingredients. Taco Bell tastes fake in comparison. The drive through line can be long so it can be faster to park, go inside, and get your food to go.
No frills great food at a great price. Only used the drive through so far, but staff are very friendly and I haven't been disappointed yet.
Love this place. All aspects are delectable. My friend was able topurchase a Taco Tree shirt, but unfortunately they do not sell Taco Tree baseball caps. They should consider doing so. The staff wear hats, so clearly they have them, they just aren't for sale to the general public.
The best mexican fast food!! I have been going here for 20+ years and CRAVE their bean burritos sometimes. Simple but delish!
My favorite fast food Mexican food!!! I drive to Auburn for it!!!
Food is tasty and fast service
This is hands down my favorite taco place in Auburn, and my wife feels the same way. Crispy shell, great chicken flavor, never disappoints. Sure, the drive-thru is always crowded, but don't let that put you off. Parking is not bad but frequently spills out into the street. Don't let that put you off either. It's worth it.
It's Taco tree, I've been eating here for decades and the food is always the same. So nostalgic. Thanks for being you Taco tree
Anyone who's ever eaten at a taco tree knows that they're food is an Auburn delicacy. albeit a fast food delicacy. As I have found fast food delicacies rare. It's not just one menu item, but a slew of them. They're super nachos, super burritos hands down are far more filling and tastier than anything you can get from a Taco Bell. Besides, we're talking a Tree versus a Bell.
Taco Tree always has great food and friendly service!!
We were passing through Auburn yesterday and saw this little Taco place. The ladies in there were very nice and made it a very welcoming experience. Our beef and bean super burritos were delicious!! I loved the simple menu! Definitely swing by again next time we are in town!
This place was as good as promised! Really great, affordable, and tasty quick Mex! My whole family thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The staff was great too. They had a great vibe and you can tell they were happy working there and with each other. I think I will stop there every time I pass through Auburn! Well done Taco Tree!
Love this place. Enjoy going everything I come into town. Wish I had this place closer to my home.
Nice throwback feel and good food that comes out quickly
The food here is Da Bomb. The best tacos ever.
Love Taco tree!!!!! Large super nachos swamp style is the way to go.
Super bomb, local taco bell but better. Also great prices.
There's nothing like Taco Tree. It's so simple. So good. Always consistent. Never pretentious. When you crave white people tacos. You go to the Tree.
Local chain with a great following. For years this has always been a go to for quick and quality food.
If you miss the Enchirito first introduces introduced in the 1960’s by Taco Bell, this is your place! TacoTree calls it an Enchilada but is better than the original IMO. The sauce, cheese, black olives everything just amazing. Very good service from a nice staff. There are 2 locations, the downtown Auburn location can get busy on weekdays during lunchtime due to being so close to Placer HS, but still doable the staff manages the high volume like professionals!!!
Really tasty local taco shop. Happened to find it just by looking for tacos (and seeing one of the locations driving past it). The food was very tasty, and the service very friendly. The hot sauce packets were also very flavorful too.
Good it’s always convenient. Even if they have a long line at the take out it’s fast!
Exactly what you'd expect from an off-brand Taco Bell. It's glorious, fast, and cheap, even if your colon will regret your decision to go there. Great after a night out.
The employees are SO nice and the food is always delicious and on time!
This place is AWESOME! Highly recommend the bun taco if you’re feeling zesty! Otherwise super nachos are where it is at.
For the price the food gets five stars. Imagine Taco Bell if it wasn't a chain. This place is like that but definitely has a local vibe. The portions are Taco Bell size as well so don't come expecting some huge burrito but this can be good if you're not crazy hungry.
This place is a great stop for quick but tasty tacos that are priced right. There's a reason the drive-thru line looks like an in n out. Great food that has fresh ingredients. It's a pay at the counter business and the seating is bland yet clean but ambiance is not why your there.
I've been going to taco tree since I was a kid. I went to Placer High School and this was a staple of my school lunch menu. I moved away 25 years ago but ANYTIME I am remotely close to Taco Tree I go.
We moved to the Auburn area five years ago, I’ve never been to a Taco Tree. This specific location is definitely my go to fast food restaurant. I have never had bad service, the employees are always friendly and fast. Importantly, the food is excellent and you can’t beat the price! I was so disappointed when Taco Bell stopped serving tostadas then I found these, best tostadas ever! Every single employee should be commended!
Love coming to Auburn for Taco Tree. Just wish there was one in Rsvl!!
Took a friend who's never been there. She had super tacos and loved. Definitely be back she says!!!
the employees are EXTREMELY nice and the food absolutely amazing for the price. i come here everyday and im never disappointed with the service
Local favorite. This isn't cuisine, it's comfort food. At lunch time it can be a bit of a zoo because everyone loves it.
It's like a fast food Mexican restaurant except they use fresh ingredients. Top notch fast food, nothing else like it
ohh i love taco tree every day during lunch and after school i go to taco tree and order myeslf a large mikl and 3 super beef nachos ohhh its soooooo good i reccomend going im no food review critic but i would say that taco tree is fantastic and edibel if you see my photo, the food lookds fantastic and your taste buds will be flying through the RUFF once you taste this come to taco tree, now, if not? more for me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Grew up in Auburn and have early childhood memories of going to this taco tree with my mom and getting a tostada...40 years later, if I am in Auburn I have to stop by taco tree. It is still a really good tostada!
Absolutely LOVE this place! I went here while I was I was in highschool. I still continue to come here 15 years later and everything is just as good as it was then. Friendly staff and reasonable prices too
Went through the drive thru and got the large super nachos. They were yummy. The person answered several questions I had since I haven't been there for many years. Overall I had a great experience.
If you’re looking for a taco place that didn’t sell out and go corporate like Taco Bell, Taco Tree is the place for you. If tacos came off a tree rather than from a bell this is what you would get. Beef super taco had a lot of sour cream and the small chicken nachos had a smorgasbord of that yellow American liquid product though slightly lacking on the fowl bits. Staff is friendly and will offer some generic taco sauce or jalapeño packets
Love this fast food Taco Tree, definitely 100% better then Taco Bell. I like chicken hard shell 🌮, hubbie likes bean burrito 🌯. Drive through super fast highly recommend if you are looking for tasty fast food. Tried the taco 🥗 salad tonight delicious 👍. Line for drive through was long, we walked placed order to go, super fast service! One more thing restroom very clean and stocked Sincerely Eileen Bonner - Mobile Office American River Notary & Apostille Live Scan Finger Printing Services
The best fast food Mexican restaurant ever!! I love this place so much. The employees are awesome. The food is better than many much higher priced locals. I wish they catered. Every time I am in Auburn. Whether I am hungry or not, I eat here. I my hunger wishes they were in Roseville. My waistline thanks them for not being here. I would be addicted. Well done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💪💯❤️🚀😍
Love this place! Not authentic Mexican food but reasonable prices and food is good. Love their super nachos and beef taco plus. Meat always tastes fresh. They are busy but service is quick. Not much has changed. I now love their beef taco salad and their cinnamon crips are also a nice treat. We got our small super nachos with chips on the side, their cinnamon crisps and their beef taco salad. They are still busy and delish. 😋

Good tacos. Fast. Well priced. Don't change, perfect just the way you are. Drive through on hit. I hear the burritos are good too.

Spent 25 minutes at the local Taco Tree location in Auburn, enough to entertain a couple crunchy beef tacos and a bean and cheese burrito. The hard taco shell was shaped and felt similar to that of Taco Bell. Maybe the polite employee didn't know what I meant when I asked if they made their own taco shells, because even though she said they do, they seemed premade, just as a store bought shell would be. Perfectly shaped smooth, and crunches apart with the first bite. But I ate it, and it filled my belly. Same with the BnC... ate it too. Slightly larger portions than The Bell, and deliciously mediocre. They have Pepsi products, just like the Bell, complete with the new disgusting Starry. God I wished they had Sprite. Or bottled Jarrito sodas. Look into it. I will go back, because ya know, I may like bomb Mexican food... but I do also like Taco Bell... and this place had local charm. And even though I was just passing through, I enjoyed the smiles and all the locals working hard, chatting amongst themselves, and this place needs a dollar more than the Bell. Can't wait to try their BRC burrito and other super-goodies from time to time. Thank you for your kind service, and for the late night food. I enjoyed it.
Awesome little spot to grab a quick bite. Quick drive thru service every time I've used it. Reminds me of homemade tacos and burritos, which I mean in a really good way. The price point is excellent. You can feed a lot of people for a reasonable price. If you liked taco bell back in the 90s, definitely check this place out.
The food isn't incredibly healthy but it is delicious, in fact some of if not the best in the area. It just feels good to go to this place after a hike or bike ride and get some food. There are protein options there so there is something for everyone. Their iced tea I also noticed did not have much, if not any food. I noticed this and liked this.
Pretty good food taste good. Its not that greasy which is pretty cool. But the restaurant is also very small. Sometimes you can get some weird looking people in there. The workers are usually friendly. But its a really fun place to eat in a great area.
The food is good. A little pricey. The beef tacos are better than the chicken. The chicken has no taste.
The super tacos are delicious and satisfying. Super nachos are really tasty and will definitely sate your appetite. I've been going here for a few years now, and the quality is the same every time.
Only fast food in aunburn worth eating in my opinion. If u went to high school in auburn, you love this place, probably
I have never been to a Taco Tree before, and had no idea what they served. It's kinda taco belly. I didn't know. But, they were very friendly and very fast! It's not real Mexican food, and I can't fault them for my lack of knowledge, so for what it is...I think they did great! It was very inexpensive as well. Thanks for the late night grub!
Unfortunately when we pulled up dine in wasn't open which is what we wanted to do but drive thru was. The super tacos are amazing as are the nachos. Hopefully the dine in opens soon. My husband and I found a nearby park to eat at so it wasn't a huge deal. Good amount of food for the price.
Fast food tacos without all the grease. The crunchy shells hit a food itch; I'd suggest adding hot sauce to them.
Local institution loved by all. They dont have a huge or fancy menu. They keep it simple and good. Have I had better Mexican food? yeah... do I still go out of my way to go to Taco Tree, when in Auburn, yesssss.
We go here when we are in Auburn because they sell a "bun taco" which is like the old Taco Bell bellbeefer, which my husband loves. I get the small super nacho. They look really small, but are surprisingly filling. The place isn't much to look at, but the food is decent and affordable priced.
Oh Taco Tree, I've been a customer since before T-Swift was born. Yup, for that long. What keeps me coming back to this local Auburn fast food joint are those darn simple classic tacos and bunless tacos. Simply tasty. The tacos shells are hard shell pre made. They have a cathartic crunch. The ground beef is drained well, so no oily drippy mess. The tacos are filled with meat, shredded lettuce and cheese. Layered in that order. For folks wondering what the heck is a bunless taco, wonder no more. A bunless taco is their taco fillings served in a hamburger bun. Ohh I was also a big eater of their nachos, but my cheesy nacho eating days are behind me. But if yours aren't, give theirs a go. Gotta mention, sure this place and me have experienced our off days with each other... like the time they sold me tacos with stale shells and the other time with smashed shells. But those anomalies occur rarely, like 1 in 50. Not a bad average.
I've been eating Taco Tree for 30+ years and never had terrible service, until last week. The girl who took my order didn't even greet me back before she barked "for here or to go." Insert the typi…
I've lived in Auburn since the 90s and I've always loved taco tree but today I had a really bad experience. I walked in to taco tree and went to use the bathroom first. When I came out, I walked up…
Very disappointed in our recent visit. This has been our go to for a quick good meal, but I couldn't find much chicken on my large chicken taco salad and my husband found the meat lacking in the burrito and taco he got. What's up? $10 for a taco salad filled with beans. Not happy.
Customer service is garbage. It's just a bunch of careless teenagers working here (and eating here since it's right by the HS). The food is alright if you stay away from certain items. Otherwise prepare for your bowels to be rocked. The parking and drive-thru situation is a hot mess, too... Cars pouring out into traffic during lunch/dinner rush. And what is up with handing customers all their food in flimsy boxes?? Why do we have to ask for a plastic bag?? I don't want my food in a cardboard diaper, thank you very much. Lastly, even though the prices are decent, I'd still rather go to Taco Bell.
We've been coming here for over a year after moving to the area and loved it. Something is going on this week because we had lunch twice and the next day, both times,my stomach was upset. Food quality wasn't on point and my burrito was bland, not served hot and small. The flavor was not there. Cinnamon crisps were not served warm and I could taste the old oil flavor. I feel like there are corners being cut. Please get it together taco tree. This isn't like you. Change your oil out please and discard the old food, don't serve it.
Worst taco i have had. Hard shells, no sauce, boring My wife ate nachos and she liked them. Good for her. Not very friendly service at the cashier
The tacos (chicken) and Burritos (beef and chicken) were honestly disappointing. There was no flavor, not even salt. It was just not to my taste honestly. Even the Nachoes (with the cheese) was bland. The best out of the whole meal was the cinnamon crisps. They were so good that I bought extra to go. There was not much wait time and food service was pretty quick.
Food is way less quality and quantity than they used to be. Sad to see an Auburn icon fall from the golden throne of "must haves" to go hum. Super burritos used to be bursting at the seams but has the same feel as the old bean and cheese burrito, the nacho plus used to cover the container ,even in swap style, and now I can see 1/3rd of the container bottom. I get that things are expensive now but when your upping your prices galore and lowering your quality it hurts a true Auburnite such as myself. This place was the exception to fast food but has become a taco bell without the marketing. Not trying to be mean but have dined at this place for the last 28 years and the downfall is most obvious! It is a to go joint but those of us that are locals remember the quality and abundance that came from Taco Tree and we are now sorely missing those days. New transplants and passers though will not know the joy of the true taco tree! We used to be friends and now I'm hurt deeply, lol.
Having the fountain drinks behind the counter is ridiculous. We had to wait in line to ask for refills from a staff that was very busy. There are no napkins out in the dining area, again only up by…

came in to a staff full of teenagers which isn’t bad, but we were greeted with “what do you want” and our food was literally thrown on the counter and they told us to leave (it was probably barley 8pm) it wasn’t anywhere near closing and the staff was incredibly rude to us. the food was good but after our food was thrown on the counter all of our tacos came out broken. been coming here for years and just watched it slowly go downhill with unenthusiastic workers.
A friend was telling me how this place is mostly for the highschool kids nearby who come here after school. So I guess that's why they give you your food in Styrofoam containers 🤨 idk. Food was pretty small and it was okay. Probably wouldn't eat here again. Service was rly nice tho
I just had the saddest burrito of my life. It wasn’t even wrapped completely, it had no sauce or seasoning, and it had olives in it which gave it that Midwest bean dip energy. At least Taco Bell feels like a guilty pleasure. There was no love in my food…. The shake was pretty good though.
Where's the beef? I've been eating @ Taco Tree since 1988. I went a couple of months ago and ordered a taco salad. For the first time ever, there was hardly had any beef on it. I went again today, this time ordering the super nachos w/chips on the side. I was shocked when I opened the container and saw only a tiny bit of ground beef. I thought for sure there would be more but sadly, it only contained about 1 tablespoon of ground beef!!!
I always swing by with my kids after school and usually we get an older lady who is ALWAYS super nice. Today we came across a lady with curly hair let me say very very unprofessional, the customer service not there at all. It seemed she was more uncomfortable by customers actually bringing business to this restaurant, since the moment she took the order to the moment she just opened the window saying the total not even a hello or a greeting. My self working at the customer industry her attitude was very nasty…
Please fire your red headed manager! Why would you be so nasty to someone who just place a $110 order?! There were at least 8 people in your kitchen. Two customers in the lobby and one car ahead of u…
Yes I went to this restaurant It was recommended by my daughter who was visiting ! I remembered the tacos were slamming that day ,! So tonight my family and I bought two burritos taco salad and two chicken soft tacos ( very disappointing ) the burritos were made and wrapped very poorly and the tortilla shell was like they never even bothered to warm it up ! The taco salad was really a lettuce salad because the meat u couldn't see and the sour cream. Overwhelmed the other ingredients ! The chicken tacos had so much lettuce you couldn't even find the chicken and those shells were cold ! I wondered if they just didn't care because it was almost closed but at a restaurant it shouldn't matter you should still get the same quality of food like you would if it was lunch time ! I didn't mind paying the price cause I just knew that it should be bomb well I can't get my money back and that's fine but it really sucks that they may have lost a customer over it ! Very unsatisfied customer
This place sucks. They put a whole salad in your burrito. Cold lettuce cold cheese, cold tamato and one olive.
Been coming to this location since they were located where Dutch bros is now. Always was a cheap, quick place to eat. This place is an auburn staple for the locals but to be honest to the owners, you are losing touch with the community. The ingredients are not as fresh as they used to be, the chips stale, the food sub par prepared, the servers just going through the motions for a paycheck. At this rate I wonder when you will close down your doors? Will you do anything to stop it? Or just fade away like so many local businesses have.... Money and time wasted the last 5 times here. So sad.
Love the food here. Hands down. And good prices. However, while driving down I-80 from the mountains and looking up places in Auburn that are open at 9pm and seeing that Taco Tree says they are open until 11... It was frustrating to find out that they close down the dining room at 9pm EVEN THOUGH THIS INFORMATION IS NOT POSTED ANYWHERE ONLINE OR GOOGLE MAPS, AND THERE IS NO SIGNAGE ANYWHERE ON THE DOORS OR THE BUILDING DISPLAYING THEIR HOURS. So we order our food at the counter, but they tell us that we will need to take our food "to go". My girlfriend asks a lady behind the counter when they close the dining room. The lady tells her "right now. As soon as everyone leaves." In a very careless and unprofessional way. We decided we don't want to upset them until have our food in hand so we wait for our food. After receiving our food, I ask the same lady when they close. She says "right now". At this point we have tried to get a clear answer and asked 2 times without getting a clear answer. So I asked AGAIN "What actual time do you close the dining area". While giving me a rude look, She finally answered the question and said "9pm". So I tell her " We were driving down highway 80 and looking for somewhere to sit and eat in Auburn. Your information online and on Google maps only says that you close at 11:00. It does not state that your dining room hours are any different". She responds in a very irritated and dismissive way "I'll pass on that information". But the fact is that she knew damn well that this was an ongoing problem. While we sat and ate outside with my girlfriend feeling cold and not having a sweater, 3 MORE CUSTOMERS CAME TO THE DOOR ONLY TO FIND THAT IT WAS LOCKED AND THEY COULDN'T GO IN. EVERY ONE OF THEM TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE THERE ALSO BECAUSE THEY ARE LISTED AS A RESTAURANT THAT IS OPEN UNTIL 11PM. So I know damn well that the lady is aware of this issue. Tonight was only one night and it happened 3 times in 15 minutes. And it seems VERY SUSPECT that they do not have their hours of operations posted anywhere for the public on the building or the door like most businesses do. I get the impression that they just close whenever they feel like it. And I think that's why the lady got irritated with me for confronting her about it. Cuz she knew that if she admitted that they close whenever they feel like it, it would create more negative conversation and more confrontation. The lady looked in her mid 30s, long brown pony tail. If you are the owner and you are reading this, you need to know that your staff is closing the dining room down at 9pm and people who search for a restaurant where they can sit down and eat are being turned away. That Is very bad business. And it is incredibly unprofessional to not have your hours of operation posted near the entrance to your restaurant. And for God's sake, if your staff isn't supposed to be closing the dine-in portion of your restaurant 2 hours earlier than your listed time online, then please fire that lady.... Because she was incredibly rude and seems horrible at customer service. You may have lost a couple of long term customers tonight. Not to mention the other 3 people who found your doors locked even though they looked online and thought your doors were open until 11:00.
My memories of coming here when my kids were young was my motivation. The food and the service left a lot to be desired. The cost compared with the quality and flavor was terrible. The Pepsi tasted like the machine needs to be cleaned and the mix of carbonation and syrup was wrong. Fast food quality is just not what it use to be but the prices just keep going up.
I just wanted a taco. This place had "taco" in the name, so I thought I might get a decent taco here. At least it was inexpensive and edible. Hard shell. Unexceptionable. Bleh. May as well go to the taco place with "bell" in the name, and I never go there, though at least they have soft tacos.
I always drive 40 mins to this location. I love taco tree . This location was great up until yesterday. I went in ordered 9 tacos .. all the soft ones were literally raw tortillas. They offered to remake them but the lady had a very bad attitude I said nvm! Rather drive up a mile to the other taco tree and it was amazing!
This place gets a terrible score of -2/10 on the Milford Meal Measurement Matrix, which is based on feel and the thickness of the gravy, unlike Gilbert’s fake scale. Let me be clear: I arrived hungry and ready for a feast fit for my legend. Instead, I got what can only be called edible disappointment wrapped in paper. As a man of size, I ordered a fair amount: 7 tacos, 5 burritos, 2 trays of beef super nachos, and a gallon of milk to help swallow it all. Within minutes, I faced what some might label a "catastrophic cheese cascade" right onto my stomach. Not once. Not twice. Seven times. Seven separate cheese losses. I had to lean forward in a panic to save the fallen cheese like a warrior retrieving comrades. The burritos? Weak and lifeless. When I bit in, there was a tragic absence of squelch. A burrito should have a presence. It should make a statement. This one barely whispered. I tried to squeeze it for the juices, but they ended up splattering on my shirt and thigh. Ridiculous. The beef super nachos were enough for a family of 6, maybe 7 if they skip breakfast. For me? That’s just a light snack. I blinked and they were gone. My hunger stood strong like a monument. Then came the real insult. I greeted the staff with my usual respectful “Howdy partner,” but they looked at me as if I had challenged them to a duel. No nod. No respect. No acknowledgment of my serious approach to dining. When I offered my Home Depot bucket for refills—a perfectly reasonable choice—they turned me down. Turned me down. As if trying something new were a crime. I will give them one thing: the tacos were acceptable. The grease flowed like a sacred river of seasoning leading straight to destiny. But one good item doesn’t save a failing meal. In summary: cheese let me down, burritos were lacking, nachos misjudged my appetite, and the staff showed no hospitality. Even a roadside vending machine with a grudge would have treated me better. Gilbert may put up with this nonsense, but Milford Meal does not.
Third time in a row we've driven up to Auburn from Loomis for the super nachos only to get home to find there was maybe only one table spoon of the nacho cheese on a carton full of chips. This use to be the best place for nachos, not anymore, really sad, time to find a new place after 20 years.
This fast food gets a -1/10 on the Gilbert Grub scale. My big round voluptuous friend was not to happy about it, and certainly talked about it! This kind of food has no place in the state closest to japan,(you would think they would make better food.) I ordered 6 tacos, 3 burritos, 4 Beef Super Nachos, and 4 large milks. Six times I had cheese drip onto my belly button, and I had to bend down to lick it off. The burritos had an unsatisfactory level of squelch when i bit into it. I tried to squeeze the juices into my mouth but they just spilled onto my greasy thighs. The beef super nachos might be able to feed a few(8) children, but it wasn't nearly enough for a hombre of my stature. The taco's were good though, the grease flowed down my throat like the rivers of the Nile. The staff were very rude. They did NOT return my customary greeting of "Konichiwa" as is custom in my motherland. They then refused to accept my Home Depot bucket as an acceptable refill unit. In short, the cheese dripped on my belly button, the staff did not meet my standards of respect, and my belly was pitifully unstretched. This kind of behavior would fall short of even a vending machine in Japan.
The hours are posted on the door, I walked in slightly after four, it said they closed at 6 on the main door, drive thru still open, but I couldn't get anything as I had walked there, chains on the doors... Not acceptable to me. Even on NYE, this didn't feel right.
Somehow my previous review was removed. Basically stated that the counter person called me a liar for not getting the food I ordered and was charged for. Very confrontational. Food quality has gone down unfortunately. Slightly better than taco bell now.
