Excited this place is finally open! Food has great taste and portions are a good size. Loved the octopus, lobster raviolis, and mussels. Large selection of oysters, which was nice. The drinks were good but feel like they are a little steep for not necessarily being craft cocktails. Hope they also introduce a great happy hour so it becomes a neighborhood restaurant rather than just a once in a while date night.
Pearl and Fin Oyster Bar is an absolute gem! The food was out of this world—so good it made me believe calamari is an aphrodisiac! Every bite was a flavor explosion, like fireworks going off on my taste buds. And the prices? Unbelievable for the quality and experience! To top it all off, the service was impeccable. Kourtland was hands down the best—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m already planning my next visit. This place is a must-try! 🙌🏾🔥 #PearlAndFin #FiveStars #FoodieApproved
A beautiful date night restaurant rugged away once you get off Mopac. Excellent attention to details, and the boldest Old Fashion I yet to have. Thanks for a great evening, and definitely her birthday is well celebrated. Try the grilled seafood skewers, also the Ceviche, and oysters. Most certainly their cocktails.
The experience and food quality is amazing! The service is top notch - our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us pick some delicious oysters when we weren’t sure what to get. Not only are the oysters fresh, but you also get an amazing variety of various costal oysters (East, west etc), plus the names are top notch, you’ll know what I mean when you go. (Im purposely leaving it a mystery) The lobster roll actually has a HUGE portion of lobster. (Photo below as proof) They don’t hold back from stuffing that roll, and the lobster is savory and buttery. The lobster ravioli is creamy and melts in your mouth! Do not skip on the lamb and COTES DƯ RHÔNE wine!! If you love lamb, you will LOVE the lamb here. Falls off the bone, not chewy and pairs perfectly with their red wine: COTES DƯ RHÔNE and it’s served with a chimichurri sauce For recently opening this place really nails it! 10/10 recommend
We had such a great evening! Went on a little best friend date and got so much food and it was all delicious. We got the ceviche, shrimp cocktail, crab Louie, French fries, and oysters. Everything was super fresh!
everything was amazing. appetizers, oysters, entrees and drinks. espresso martini with toasted marshmallow was amazing, squash flowers and clam pasta. service was so friendly and owners and dog came by to acknowledge us which was so kind
Went to Pearl & Fin recently and have to say atmosphere, seafood and service were on point. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty especially the seafood tower, ceviche, octopus, mixed grill and sea bass. Key lime pie and chocolate pie were excellent too.
Food and service was excellent! Before we finished our dinner we were already looking at the menu and planning our next visit - so good!
One of the best dinners I've had in Austin! We tried the squid ink Calamari and it was delicious, the freshest Calamari in town, the oyster variety is over the top. I can't recommend this place enough. Perfect for couples and friends. We took our in-laws and they really enjoyed it.
AMAZINGGG, easily my new favorite oyster spot in town!!! literally everything on the menu was 10/10, they have a great and wide selection of east coast oysters and always have new options to try each time i come. The lobster ravioli is EVERYTHINGGG. Also the service is impeccable, everyone is so nice especially our server Ruben he truly made it such a positive full experience for us, not just a dinner. so sweet will absolutely be coming back to see him again ❤️ Polo was also amazing too!!
Love their Happy Hour, love their service and atmosphere, oysters so fresh! everything is great! Thank you!
Amazing experience. This place really is moving forward. Great menu and even better food. Anything you get here will be perfect. Service was impeccable. We are definitely going back.
MUST VISIT - we had a date night at Pearl Dive and we absolutely loved our experience. We explored the whole menu and everything was fresh and creative. Our server so attentive and fun. We can’t wait to visit again. Greta spot for date night at the oyster bar or for big groups
This place hit all the right notes. First day they opened, food was amazing and service was great, free parking in downtown area.

I can't wait for this to reopen soon fully under the 1618 Team. This will easily be one of the BEST restaurants in Austin. Interesting and well made food that will blow you away. Cant wait to see the updates they make to the dining hall, I suspect it will be sleek!
I went in for lunch after my workout, a couple doors down. The dining area is really pretty and pleasing to look at. They also have a patio area (it was raining so I sat inside. The staff was very attentive. Rudy and Sebastian were nice and able to answer all my questions. There have plenty of options for $20 lunches (actually a really good deal). I ended up getting a simple burger and fries- great choice! The fries were well seasoned. - i think my only issue was being told that there are only so many burgers available (i think that should change, i can understand if this is only because it is a newer restaurant) You can park in the garage attached to the building and there is actually a door from the garage into the restaurant. Cant wait to try out their happy hour
Had a wonderful experience here, brought in a party of 6 for a birthday dinner. The servers were extremely attentive and patient with us and were on top of our drinks/ water The atmosphere was clean and the chairs were extremely comfortable. The only downside I’d have to say, with the scallop plate it was paired with corn. I never had that pairing with scallops before and didn’t really mesh well with the seafood but the scallops were great!
Came here for the oyster during happy hours only. It’s $1 gulf oysters and $1 off east coast varieties oyster, so it’s $3 each. The gulf coast oysters were yummy and refreshing as always. I tried several of them like blue point, beau zoleil, love shuck, duxbury, Hollywood, and sunberries. My favorites were the blue point and sunberries oysters. I think the service can be a bit better. We had a gentleman as our waiter, but he seemed easily annoyed. Other than that, I enjoyed the delicious oysters. They are also have an entrance connected to a public garage, so you get wet in the rain.
Overall it’s a beautiful spot, great service but kitchen items were not the best. We came for happy hour which is M-F 3-6pm and enjoyed the raw selections much more than the items from the kitchen. At HH they have $1 off oysters, drink specials and HH small bites. It’s a great location, very cute for a date and good service can make up for a lot of things especially for a new restaurant so we’ll be back to try again in the future. Details on what we got below: Shrimp cocktail (HH) 4/5 The shrimp were gigantic and very tasty. I just wish they had better horseradish. Squid Ink Calamari (HH) 3/5 Slightly overcooked. The batter was a little chewy and hard. Flavors were good though. I loved the salad it came with. Very vinegary. You’ll like it too if you like pickled onions and jalapeños. Oysters (HH) 5/5 I wish there was a little more price transparency but from what I could tell their east coast oysters are $4 ea and pacific are $4.75 ea so $3 and $3.75 at HH. They were all very fresh, shucked well and super clean. We loved the Black Magic in particular but all our waiter’s recs were pretty good. Once again, I wish they had some horseradish that packed a bit more of a punch. Crab Cake (normal menu) 1/5 This was the most disappointing dish we got. At $24 for a single crab cake, I was expecting some nice lumps of crab. However, their crab cake was shredded tiny pieces of crab. Honestly, a little more filler probably would’ve helped the texture and the lack of a crisp to the dish. I don’t know if the crab they used was canned? Once again salad that came with it slapped.

2.75/5 stars 🌟 We sat at the Oyster bar, the service was good, food was average only one dish stood out! We had many drinks and dishes with HH discount and on top of that our bill was $207 before tip, which is too expensive for the value in my opinion. Maritime Martini: it was really smooth. Downtown old fashioned: really good. Sea cucumber: it was good. Extra dirty martini: it was good. Oysters: we had a dozen of east coast oysters, they were fresh, but not as saliney as I like. I wish they had taste profiles descriptions. Squid ink Calamari: it was good with the sauce. Tuna tartare: super fresh & straightforward. I thought it looked lighter than expected in terms of color but good. Charred Octopus: it wasn’t charred but it was AMAZING!! It was well seasoned and cooked perfectly, including the tail, which sometimes would be chewy. Branzino: it was ok, it could’ve used some seasoning. The carrots purée was good.

I had an allergic reaction after eating the shrimp cocktail, experiencing rapid heart rate and a tingling mouth. Thankfully, I avoided anaphylaxis, but still had to go to urgent care. I've only ever had allergic reactions to really old shrimp before, never with fresh ones. When I informed the manager, he sarcastically asked why I ate 4 shrimp (as if I could control the onset of an allergic reaction), while insisting that the shrimp was fresh, and he wouldn't tell me where it came from. Very unprofessional and disappointing customer service.
