Man so happy this place is under new ownership and management. We had the Dirty Martini pizza and it was DELICIOUS! The place was full, the food was great. What a difference! Right around the corner from my home, and I will be going back!
Ordered large pizza togo after traveling all day. Summer asked if we were staying nearby because they offer a discount for neighbors! She also offered us waters to drink while we waited and packed up plates, napkins, pepper, utensils! Love the service!!
highly recommend this place for family and friends.. great environment with great food and drinks! pool table and plenty of TVs to watch the game. our waiter Karim was exceptional and friendly! 10/10 service!!! the food is great for sharing and came out in a timely manner which is a PLUS.
I came with a friend visiting from out of town. The place is spacious and relaxed, with tons of TVs to catch a game and staff who make you feel welcome. The pizza & wings were excellent — fresh and delicious. Kyler and Karim took great care of us. It was really busy but it was well worth the wait. Perfect spot for a casual night out with friends. I'll definitely be back
This place has gone UPscale since my first date visit 3 years ago! Before: While my man LOVED the food and prices then, I had to make do with a lackluster salad (hello low carb). Today: Everyone, including mom and I, loved our upscale thin crust gourmet pizza with fresh, beautiful veggies. However, we noticed the prices have gone way up while the service was just ok (considering it was just 2 staff for the whole place). 2 pizzas and 2 drinks was just shy of $100.
An EXCELLENT place to go hang out and have drinks with friends while you watch the big game, or simply stop by for their excellent food. My son and I stopped in for lunch and had the Margerhita Pizza with Pepperoni and the Fried Mozzarella Sticks. The food was fresh, fast, and absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Our server, Reagan, was very nice, friendly, and professional. He exemplified what good customer service SHOULD be in a time when good customer service is hard to find. Our entire experience was FANTASTIC!!!
Stopped in on a whim on my walk today. I sat at the bar and was greeted right away from the friendliest waitress I have had in a long time! I watched her go above and beyond with various customers, anticipating needs before they arose. Her upbeat disposition and smile was contagious. I think her name was Emily? Not positive though. She suggested a few menu items to try and I landed on the burger. She let me customize it to my liking. It was cooked to perfection. 👌🏻 I also had a Red Bull watermelon margarita which was delicious.
Came last year with my teenage son and he loved it so we came again. Once again very solid. I think their Greek salad is phenomenal and my son loved the garlic knots. They only have small and large pizza and dining with a teen boy I assumed we needed a large. Not true! Lol. The large was HUGE - way too much for two people - but it was only $4 more than the small so I wasn’t mad they did not warn me. But def be careful how much to order. Otherwise great pizza. Basic sports bar vibes / lots of TVs - not much standout except the great food! Highly recommend
The pizza here is good, but the customer service was even better. We were just hoping to get a slice of pizza before calling it a night and didn't expect much. I had their special slice of the day...which had pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños, mushrooms, and peppers. The slice was good and helped with the cravings. Our server was this gentleman that was both attentive and was making jokes with us. He definitely lighten up the mood and made our night.
The pizza was good. What sucked is that they didn’t deliver to my hotel that was less than one mile away. Wouldn’t have been a big deal except it was 27 degrees. I’d purchase from them again, and recommend them to others.
This pizza place was fantastic! There’s plenty of space, friendly staff, and a few TVs to watch while you eat. The pizza was delicious, and I loved that you can make your own. We liked it so much we went back a second time and tried the pizza, wings, and a huge serving of deep-fried pickles — everything was excellent. Highly recommend this spot!
Best part of Salvation is the atmosphere. If you’re looking for pizza at a late hour in this area, this is your only option. That said, the pizza we had was only a few steps better than cardboard. The only other point to note is that our bartender initially seemed annoyed with having to serve us when we walked in, greeting us with a quick “what do you want?” However, he did seem to warm up later on. It was not a big deal but maybe worth mentioning considering some other reviewers mentioning the service here.
Came in for a quick bite after traveling and being at the airport for a while. Our server was very nice and the food was good, but there were 4 of us and it took 30-60 minutes for us to get our food and they brought one meal out at a time so we didn’t even get to eat together. It was maybe 4pm and there were very very few people in the restaurant so it was kind of unacceptable in my eyes. The food was good but I would have rather gone elsewhere where we would have been able to eat together.
I say this as someone who has stopped in nearly once a week for a little more than a year now. It is well priced food on Rainey St. However, lately, each passing time I eat there I notice the quality is dropping. Between the food, wait time, and service, it seems much more disappointing to me as of now. The reason I chose to review now is due to my experience today, where my coworker and I ordered a slice each, and waited over 30 minutes (not exaggerating) to be served. Upon serving, we were given 1 paper plate between the two of us, and zero napkins. Our pizza was presented to us on a slotted baking dish, and our server asked if we would like a tool to scrape it off. We were left to rips pieces of pizza baked and stuck onto a dish to eat, more lile chuncks of pizza. Our ranch was also forgotten. So between the long wait, lack of eating utensils, and napkins to keep ourselves and the table clean, and the quality of the food baked to the dish it was made on, it was a very poor experience.
Wet margharita pizza. Literally could not pick it up to eat it. Queso was good, but why such a small serving and so many chips? Came in and sat for a good 8 minutes before we were tended to. Drinks are good tho! Also was here and got a veggie "Slice of the day". It was like cardboard, definitely old.
It was full empty almost there we’re just 2 guest eating already , and when I asked for my bacon cheeseburger they said it is going to take 25 more min , it had been already 15 min when I asked so they are pretty slow even they don’t have customers. It was just bacon cheeseburger :) that’s funny but also annoying
I ordered from Uber Eats and it took an hour and a half. Food was awful. We ordered a BOGO spaghetti and meatballs and we got a kid's sized portion (cold) with hardly any sauce. There were no meatballs. The wings were cold and slimy. The skin looked raw. No flavor. I have always been a fan of Salvation, but I am not happy to spend over $100 on bad food and service.
Recommended by two people. Being from out of state it sounded like a good option for a quick bite. Just got pizza by the slice but seriously it had to have been made yesterday and kept warm and served. Chicken was so dry. Crust could have been good. Just old dry pizza. Couldn’t eat it. Didn’t get attention when we walked in and thought maybe we had to go up and order. Austin- what are you thinking? Sad tonight. 😞
