Absolutely loved Torchy’s Tacos in Austin TX. Yum yum We heard the queso was amazing and it was! The outdoor seating was awesome and the space was clean. Such a good vibe! Loved that they had cooler drinks in addition to the fountain sodas. Had to grab a Liquid Death to top off the best taco!

I visited this location for the first time the other day. I tried the Taco of the Month, which was The Ronin. It was very tasty. The wait wasn't too long. The restaurant was very clean and was nice and airy, with a lot of natural light, due to having many windows. Service was good. I ate indoors, but the outdoor patio looked really nice as well. Good place to grab a bite. 🌮

I have a limited income and trying to eat more veggy. I had there salad today and it is one of the best salads I have ever had!! I will be ordering more thanks sooo much sooo good!!! Just made an order from here its very good!! I've already had two tacos!! I love the chorizo is like my favorite food and very good with eggs!! Excited about my other order!! Chips are also very good!! Very pleased!!! I don't always come down here but they have many good places!! I live way more north!! I also had the chicken bowl and the chicken here is amazing and very good!! Thank you!!

Solid choice for fast food tacos. I ordered the democrat taco (barbacoa, avocado, cotija, onion, cilantro) and it was tasty. Chips and queso were good too. Food came out quickly after we ordered. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. There’s a secret menu online with a few extra options so make sure to check that out as well.

My son just moved to Austin and we discovered this gem. The food was delicious and the lady at the counter was a sweetheart. Who new Texmex was this good. Came a second time to try new tacos and to take some pics this time.

Been going to Torchy’s for years. It’s usually consistent and pretty good. Most recently, however, the quality was disappointing. My family and I agreed that the food was below the usual standards and was not so appetizing or tasty. Recently, Torchy’s also switched to self-serve kiosks instead of a staffed register at this location. I rarely see employees at the register, and it can be confusing to deal with the kiosks. As I said, this place is usually pretty good, but apparently sometimes they miss the mark.

The apps were all great! We enjoyed the guac, queso, corn. The menu is all a great value as the tacos are huge. Our reviews were mixed on them - the shrimp taco and Democrat were both great. I found the Trailer Park a bit salty (but what was I expecting with those ingredients?) This place is a "more is more" type of place, if that's your jam. We shared bites of the enormous cookie for dessert, it was good.

Good place if you need a quick bite. The tipsy chick and fried avocado tacos were very good. We got a trailer park ( make it trashy), and the crossroads was just ok. However the republican was weird and awkward to eat. Didn't pair well together. The street corn as a side was pretty good also.

Torchy's, you’ve been breaking my heart for years now with these room-temp tacos :( Please warm the food! This is at every location. I don’t get it. I was between two and three stars but these tacos are good if only they were served hot.

If it was hard to figure this out whether I family of sex because everything is like per item on the menu, there’s no combinations or meals, so that was a little bit hard for us can make things pricey too, but I have to say for the price of like the shrimp taco that we got two of them did fill me up very well I just wanna preferred maybe some rice or some corn. We did get a corn in a cup the portion was small for like 4 bucks it was it was actually pretty small so you know that’s why I gave it like three stars on the food. Food was fresh food was good. Sauces were not as hot and spicy as I would like them, but overall the atmosphere in a place was good. Service was really good. Very patient and helpful

Way overrated. I got a Brushfire and a Matador. There were some gristle pieces in the chicken which made it pretty unpleasant. They were pretty generous with the mango but a bit heavy handed with the sour cream, so it was kind of unbalanced and somehow also boring. The Diablo sauce is nice and spicy but had a weird aftertaste. The Matador (from secret menu) was better. I wish the avocado had been sliced thinly instead of one big wedge. The red onions were pretty mild as far as a pickled onion goes, I'd have preferred a sharper flavor against the richness of the meat. Overall, boring experience that required way too many napkins to eat.

They installed these new kiosks to order. So not only does it feel way less personable but the ordering system is extremely buggy, so it takes 2x longer to place an order. Torchy’s has never had the best food but they were fun and local feeling. Now it feels impersonal and corporate. I can’t see the point, somebody help me understand why Torchy’s exists
