Notre meilleur petit déjeuner sur Bacalar dans un havre de paix. Nous souhaitions tout goûter tellement c’était bon. Tout était parfait. Nous recommandons fortement.

Wirklich sehr schönes Ambiente direkt am Wasser. Sehr leckeres Essen und gute Preise, vor allem wenn man europäische Preise gewohnt ist. Gute vegetarische und vegane Optionen.

El lugar es idílico justo delante de la laguna lo recomiendo muchísimo ya que no hay lugar mejor para desayunar nosotros repetimos varias veces durante nuestro viaje. Hermoso lugar desde que entras. La vista hacia la laguna mientras disfrutas de tus platillos y cócteles hacen que sea una experiencia deliciosa, muy relajante y bella. El servicio de Gustavo fue excelente, resolviendo nuestras dudas y hasta un tour por la casa nos dio. Amura es un lugar increíble, el paisaje no tiene comparación ya que desde cualquier mesa podes apreciar la laguna, la comida salió súper rápido, fresca y deliciosa. El lugar impecable, y la calidad y calidez del servicio un diez! se nota que hay buen ambiente laboral porque todos estaban atendiendo con una energía muy bonita. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y es un lugar al que espero regresar cada vez que esté en Bacalar. Gracias!!!

Wooow este lugar es una hermosura, la comida un espectáculo desayunamos un omelette con queso de cabra y toston de aguacate con un café delicioso! Luego pasamos el día en el lugar que colinda con la laguna, vista hermosa las mesas al lado del agua y un muelle para tirarse al agua, también nos consiguieron un tour por la laguna que sale desde allí mismo, realmente recomendable. 10/10

Amura is an absolute gem in Bacalar—one of the best meals we had during our entire trip, hands down. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance hits you. It’s tucked into a lush, tropical setting with a beautifully designed space that feels both upscale and relaxed—think jungle chic meets lakefront calm. We came in for dinner and were instantly greeted by warm, attentive staff who made us feel like VIPs from the jump. The service was professional, friendly, and paced perfectly—not rushed, not slow, just that sweet spot where you feel taken care of without hovering. Now let’s talk food—WOW. Everything was plated like a work of art and tasted even better. We started with the octopus tostada, which was perfectly tender with a smoky, citrusy kick. For mains, I had the catch of the day, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious—so fresh it probably waved at the boat on its way to the kitchen. My partner had the risotto, which was rich, creamy, and somehow still light enough to enjoy on a warm evening. The ingredients felt fresh and intentional, with unique flavor combos that actually worked—not just fancy for fancy’s sake. Their cocktails deserve their own paragraph. I had a mezcal drink with rosemary and grapefruit that was next-level. Balanced, strong, and absolutely beautiful to look at. It’s clear the bar team knows what they’re doing—every drink was crafted, not poured. And the view? Just unreal. If you can, book a table near the edge where you can catch a glimpse of the lagoon through the palms. It’s got that perfect lighting as the sun goes down, and the atmosphere is somehow both romantic and lively at the same time. Pricing was totally fair for the quality and experience—on par with a nice dinner in the U.S., but with better scenery, better food, and better drinks. No regrets. If you’re in Bacalar and want a special meal with unforgettable vibes, Amura is the place. We left full, happy, and already planning when we can come back. 🌿🍽️🍸

20/10 experience at Amura! This place does not disappoint! The vibes are immaculate (can I have their playlist please!?) The coffee is hands down the best I have had in Bacalar. I ordered an iced Americano with milk and agave and they basically made me a shaken espresso and it was to die for! We had breakfast and stayed to just enjoy the vibes, lagoon, and of course, more drinks and food! I couldn't recommend this place enough. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main square but an easy walk from anywhere. Will be coming back for sure!

Wir hatten Pech und vom Angebot der Speisekarte zum Mittagessen war fast die Hälfte nicht verfügbar. Auch Getränke (Bohemia) waren nicht mehr erhältlich. Sehr schade, weil das jeweils erst während oder gar nach der Bestellung klar wurde. Der Service war freundlich aber leider zu wenig professionell. Die Location hat aber eine tolle Lage, was einiges wieder gut macht. Das Essen konnte nicht wirklich überzeugen. Da müsste an einem solch schönen Ort mehr drin liegen.

Muy pero muy medianito el lugar, hay mejores restaurantes en Bacalar y algo que detesto de cualquier negocio es que te quieran cobrar comisión por pagar con tarjeta, ese costo corre por cuenta del negocio, la verdad recomiendo muy poco el lugar, por eso le doy tres estrellas

La vista frente a la laguna es increíble le doy las tres estrellas porque algunas bebidas no estaban disponibles como el shot y el jugo de naranja

The location is without question top notch. Our food however was not up to the expectation and price. Even if we ordered plate for the dinner menu while the Kitchen Chef was still on duty, we experienced 2 basic no-no. My order of seafood noodle was not very tasty. It was fried with either a cheap oil or one that was too old/used. My wife pan shrimp plate "looks" better until she got under the panning.... it was made with shrimp that were not de-veined. Not acceptable for such a venue.

Ansich eine schöne Location. Leider waren die Preise viel zu hoch und die Portionen viel zu klein. Auch funktionierte die Bezahlung per Karte erst bei der dritten Karte aber die zwei anderen Karten wo es anscheinend nicht funktionierte wurden trotzdem belastet. Somit mussten wir nochmals zum Restaurant und es abklären. Das Geld wurde zurücküberwiesen bzw. die zuviel belasteten Karten storniert. Also alles gut, aber der damit verbundene Stress trübt sehr das Erlebnis. Es gibt eindeutig bessere Restaurants und Essensmöglichkeiten vor Ort die viel günstiger, genauso Lecker und deutlich günstiger sind. Ich werde definitiv nicht mehr in diesem Restaurant Essen gehen.

I visited two times at the end of December 2024 (27th and 28th) and because of the bad service there I DO NOT recommend it. The first time the food was good (pancakes and avocado toast), but the service was not. The waitress was not at all welcoming or smiling when we arrived, and did not wipe off the table where we wanted to sit. We came back one more time because the place was close to our hotel. This time the food was as dissapointing as the service. (I got a miniscule portion of yoghurt without almost any fruit, and they were out of several dishes.) The people working there did not make us feel welcome and did not wipe off the table this time either. It took a long time to order and the waitress didnt notice us when we wanted to leave. I finally walked up to the register to pay. Since the food and the service had been equally bad this time I decided that I was only going to tip 5 %. I told this very clearly to the man in charge of the payment. After paying with card I realised that he had charged me with a 10 % tip. When I pointed this ut to him, and mentioned what I thought was missing in the service, he only stood there with a sleezy smile on his face, without saying anything. I would have expected him to have apologised and have done something to correct his mistake. He did not do either. Very unprofessional. Do not visit.

The place is really nice but the food was terrible. We ordered a few things and it was very pricey for the quantity. Barely anything to eat and very salty. Impossible to eat it really. I don't recommend this place for food. It's perfect for a drink and enjoy the view.

Muy caro para lo que ofrece. En la carta hay jugo que en realidad es agua con un poco de fruta. Le dije a la mesera y ni se inmutó.

La comida esta rica pero es pagar mucho por no tanto. Si quieres no tener hambre tiene a pagar 600$ pesos al mínimo. En 1 año de viajar por Yucatán y Quintanaroo, nunca me había sentido tanto en una trampa para turistas.

Duraron mas de 20 min para entregarme un avocado toast tenia buena presentacion y un omelet la verdad no se miraba apetesible un poco seco, pedimos agua de limon y de Sandia sabian a pura agua. Solo habia 2 clientes mas.

Pedí unos huevos a la mexicana y en la carta decía que venían con frijoles y aguacate. Llegaron con fruta y le preguntamos a la mesera y ella dijo que ya no tenían frijoles ni aguacate (eran las 9am). Mi esposo pidió un sándwich que venía con tocino y le dieron uno con jamón. La única queja que tenemos es si no tienen cierta cosa que nos digan antes, no darnos otra cosa de menor valor que no pedimos.

Sirven muy poquita comida por el precio que ponen comparados con otros restaurantes en Bacalar. El servicio muy meh, tuvimos que pararnos después de 15 minutos por la carta porque no nos la traían y estaba vacío el restaurante. Igual tuvimos que ir hacia la caja porque no nos traían la cuenta. El internet es muy malo. Los smoothies estaban muy buenos eso sí! Y la vista linda :) pero hay otros restaurantes igual que tienen esta vista y puedes hacer más.

Los precios son elevados para lo que recibes, por ejemplo, un café americano sin refill. Los platillos son de tamaño y calidad estándar, el precio elevado, los elaboran con ingredientes comunes y los ofrecen caros para lo que es. Las tortillas de los chilaquiles estaban chiclosas, ni crujientes ni tiernas a la mordida, lo cual es molest y no sabes si están descuidados los ingredientes. Lo huevos sobre cocidos siendo que se pidieron término medio. El chico que nos atendió, nos recibió bien sin ser una gran atención. Nos ayudó con el menú digital. El lugar está muy agradable por estar cerca de la laguna, pero el mobiliario se ve muy usado y descuidado. Creo que el lugar lo venden muy caro para lo que dan. Para vender un lugar caro se debe combinar con buena comida y así tener una experiencia completa. Se recargan mucho en el lugar para lo que ofrecen como experiencia.

Nous sommes allés avec mon mari le 26 février midi : mon ceviche était excellent et les calamars frits également mais je mets 1 étoile car le serveurs nous a facturé en double ma carte de crédit en prétextant la première fois une mauvaise connexion internet. C’est un 5 étoiles pour le cuisiner. Alors un conseil faite attention au moment de payer surtout que les prix sont assez élevés.

Pésimo servicio, llegamos a las 10 am, pidiendo servicio a las 10:10 am, pedimos café, huevos con jamón y chilaquiles, a los 5 minutos llego el café, todo bien hasta ahí, dieron las 10:48 am y no nos habían llevado los alimentos, irónicamente, entra un grupo de 6 turistas a eso de las 10:30 am y rápidamente les tomaron la orden y en 15 minutos les entregaron sus alimentos, al final solicitamos la cuenta y mejor nos salimos pues teníamos un itinerario que cumplir. Fuimos a este lugar pensando que las malas reseñas podían ser exageradas, desafortunadamente puedo decir que no fue así, ahora bien, esa fue la experiencia mía y de mi esposa, espero que solo haya sido un mal día para el local. Le pongo 1 estrella a la comida porque ni siquiera la pudimos probar, 1 estrella al servicio porque fue malo también y al ambiente le pongo 2 estrellas porque el sitio es bonito...nada más.

El ambiente lindo por estar en la laguna, pero se percibe una tensión muy fea con el personal del restaurante. Nos querían cobrar 10 MX antes de consumir para ir al baño, cosa que me pareció muy descortés, luego para la comida se tomaron su tiempo en prepararla, la verdad muy desabrida y sin sazón, esta sobrevalorado. Realmente estaría bueno que reflejen lo que se ve en sus redes a la hora de ir. Me voy muy insatisfecha. Ojalá mejoren porque así ni ganas de volver.
