Spectacular... Starting with the menu, a hymn to Julio Iglesias, linking his songs with his gastronomic offerings. The ham sticks to your palate, exquisite. The artichokes are a delicacy that you definitely have to order. The grilled pork shoulder is marvelous, with black salt... and where to leave those XXL garlic prawns. We paired it with local wines; I particularly liked Gotas de Habla... Dessert this time... fried milk A must-try if you come to Badajoz, land of conquerors. Gladys has won us over.

We stopped by this place on our way to Madrid after a three-day trip to Porto and four days to Lisbon. The food was so delicious I couldn't help but leave a review. If you're looking for a place to have lunch on the way from Lisbon to Madrid, I highly recommend this place! There's also parking available in the public parking lot right next door. While it was a shame there wasn't an English menu, this was by far the best restaurant I visited during my 10-day trip to Porto and Lisbon!

It's safe to say that the first Garlic Sirloin Steak was cooked here: amazing! 💙 Great ham, homemade croquettes, spectacular salmon and cheese toasts, and the octopus salad is among their star dishes, with a good wine list 🍷 and what can I say about dessert: their French toast is award-winning. The food here is excellent, both in taste and presentation. The swordfish had just the right flavor, without any fishy smell or greasy taste. The waiters were always smiling and the service was excellent. This is a restaurant I highly recommend.

Amazing, Stunning a a true Badajoz gem. I mean wow, one of the best wine selections in the area hands down. Lucas our waiternis the son of the owner and I mean he is a 10 !!! Nice polite and veey knowledgeable he is a true asset. The berejenas (eggplant) was super good. The solomillo with garlic sause is a specialty and it is amazing. Jamon is must when you go there. I truly highly recommend and will be back.

Fuimos en carnavales y estaba todo lleno pero nos buscaron un huequito en una mesa alta. El camarero de barra muy atento y simpático. Pedimos media de bacalao dorado y solomillo al ajo tostado ambos muy bueno. También pedimos media de ensaladilla rusa de pulpo pero la ración es bastante pequeña. Los precios han subido respecto a lo que pone aquí en Google.

A great first experience, I recommend it. The food was good, especially the "agrrugás" bravas potatoes. In my opinion, the tuna lacked some flavor. The rest of the food was good. I have to highlight the service of the waiters, who were very friendly and professional. One drawback: some dishes took too long to arrive. And, the reason I gave it this rating for Ambience was the restaurant door. We were "unlucky" to be seated at our table as soon as we entered, and every time someone entered or left, the door slammed very loudly, which ended up being very annoying. We mentioned this to the waiter, and they were aware of it, and they responded to change it shortly. I would go back, but I would ask for a table farther from the door 😅. I recommend booking before going; they usually don't have any space.

We started with a 100% Iberian ham from Señorio de Montanera, which on the palate recalled the scent of spicy spices and wet earth from the holm oak pasture. The artichokes with ham and fried garlic were pure butter, the texture incredible, and the flavor extraordinary. The Salvaleón Iberian pork shoulder with its black salt leaves nothing to the imagination; it's pure magic. Don't miss this place; experience the flavor and warmth of a great restaurant. The remoteness of the sea doesn't diminish the prawn pan, like a child's arms, with an exquisite taste of the sea combined with the oil from the land.

Being a graduate in Food Science and Technology and a specialist in Food Hygiene and Safety, I almost subconsciously try to ensure that all hygiene and sanitary measures are followed in the places where I enjoy a meal, and I have to say that this restaurant more than meets them. The cleanliness was excellent, both in the common dining areas and in other less visible areas, which I always try to study. The bathrooms were clean and very accessible. As for the food, I went to the restaurant with someone who is allergic to seafood and who often has problems with cross-contamination in fried foods, as most restaurants fry everything in the same fryer. We mentioned this to the person who I think might be the owner, as we wanted to order cod pavías and other fried foods, and he said it was no problem, that he would personally arrange for them to be made separately. The roasted garlic sirloin was simply spectacular. In short, everything we tried was delicious. You can tell when it's cooked with love and dedication. We will repeat of course.

But the food itself, while not bad, neither surprised nor delighted us. There are countless other places I'd choose before going back here. Good service、 good food

Fuí allí maravillada por su adhesión a la ruta del aceite de oliva extremeño y cuál no fue mi sorpresa cuando en el plato de chipirones a la plancha el cuenquito que te ponen al lado con aceite y ajo es con aceite de orujo.... una auténtica decepción. En la entrada hay unas botellas de excelentes aceites en exposición pero que son eso, exposición. Luego nos pusieron de aperitivo un salmorejo gentileza de la casa que mejor otro aperitivo por favor, en pleno mes de enero, con un frío que pela me parece poco apropiado.... otro chorreón de aceite por encima de dudosísima calidad........ el AOVE ni por asomo. Poco acertado todo la verdad.
