Nunca había comido en un restaurante etíope y la verdad es que me encantó. La comida estaba muy rica . La camarera nos hizo recomendaciones y la verdad es que quedamos muy contentas . Lo único que finalmente tuvimos que pedir los tenedores porque no éramos capaces de comer con las manos lo que nos quedaba. Los postres no eran una maravilla porque pedimos brownie y estaba algo seco. Totalmente recomendable

No tenía experiencia previa con este tipo de comida, fui con mi grupo de amigas a comer al medio día por la celebración de un cumple y fuimos las primeras en llegar por eso en mis fotos se aprecia el local vacío pero rápidamente estuvo completo en menos de 40 min de haber abierto. Los precios son realmente competitivos y sinceramente no puede estar más barato, la comida exquisita, la sazón y la mezcla de especias es increíble, los contornos que llevan picante pican lo suficiente pero sin ser exagerado magnificando aún más los sabores! Y los zumos? Madre mía una maravilla! La experiencia es realmente grandiosa en todos los sentidos y aunque comer con las manos pueda haceros replantearos si probar o no yo insisto en que probéis ya que realmente vale la pena. La atención de las camareras es grandiosa y son muy pacientes si como en mi caso no sabéis cómo funciona. Volveré sin duda alguna

Excelente experiencia!!! Si lo prefieres puedes pedir cubiertos pero para una buena degustación mejor coger con las manos el pan etíope (parecido a las tortitas) y la comida. Tienen jugos naturales, tartas deliciosas y un café etíope delicioso. Te va a aconsejar muy bien y el personal super amable. Recomendable 100x100. Felicidades!!!!

Visitamos el local hace años y teniamos muy buen recuerdo de el, así que decidimos volver. El personal fue muy amable con nosotros, nos ayudó con la carta, nos recomendó platos y en general todo de 10. El local esta muy conseguido y te transmite un ambiente distinto. La comida esta genial la verdad, es una experiencia comer con las manos, y todo estaba super bueno. Los postres estaban increíble también. Recomendable hacer reserva para evitar quedarse sin mesa. Muy muy recomendable para vivir una experiencia diferente y probar nuevas cosas. Volveremos!

Fui a cenar con mi pareja por primera vez un lunes y en la misma semana hemos vuelto un miércoles. Qué experiencia tan genial: comida riquísima, atención impecable y un trato inmejorable. Recomiendo muchísimo también simplemente venir a por un café (de especialidad) espresso y la tarta de zanahoria. También el té etíope y la bebida caliente de piña y jengibre. Sin duda se ha convertido en nuestro lugar favorito de Sants. Además, el sitio es muy bonito, cálido y acogedor, decorado con una cuadros preciosos que ambientan y otorgan esa atmósfera al ambiente que lo hace todavía más auténtico.

Ambiente muy conseguido, que te transporta a Etiopía dentro de Barcelona, a cinco minutos de la Estación de Sants. La comida típica de Etiopía, que se come con el pan y las manos. Buenísima: carne, vegetales, ensalada...todo presentado y cocinado de una manera muy especial. Exquisito. El servicio muy amable y atento, sobre todo Abraham, que nos explicó muy amablemente cómo funcionaba todo. La infusión de hibiscus y menta espectacular y muy refrescante. Sin duda, una experiencia muy recomendable.

El servicio que ofrecen en este restaurante no es solo de comida, es de fortalecer vínculos🫂 Comes compartiendo plato, compartiendo la torta, compartiendo los ingredientes. Usando las manos🤏🏼, sin tenedores ni cucharas como herramientas mediadoras entre la comida y tu boca👁👄👁 Y la comida... ¿Qué decir😶 de la comida? Estaba todo súper rico. No es la primera vez que como aquí y siempre que vuelvo salgo encantado como la primera vez. Comer aquí es conectar con Etiopía y su cocina. Sabores excelentes, ambiente agradable y trato perfecto por parte de Abraham y su equipo.

My boyfriend and I were already big fans of Addis Abeba with the plethora of vegan options available. We went back recently after I got diagnosed with celiac disease, and we asked about gluten free options. Sadly the typical flatbread injera is not gluten free, but basically all the stews and veggies are and they were very knowledgeable about cross contamination, assuring me it was all cooked separately. Apparently they normally have a gluten free alternative to the injera that they didn’t have that evening, so they gave us rice instead. All of it was delicious and I can confirm I felt perfectly fine after eating it :) We can’t wait to go back!

This place is amazing. Always take here my guests and they always say it is nr. 1 restaurant they have been to in Spain. Very casual employees make the whole experience even more pleasant. Be próspera to wait if they are full and they often are. But it is worth it. Come at the evening opening hours to avoid crowds. 💯 recommended.

What an outstanding experience! Walking through the front door is like walking into a family home. The atmosphere is cozy, familiar, and so welcoming. Melanie was a lovely hostess, very friendly, and very sweet. The food is absolutely amazing. The presentation is simple but the flavors and textures are so lively. Everything is fresh, traditional, and filling. Addis Abeba is hands-down one of the most authentic restaurants I have experienced in Barcelona. The combination platters are more than enough for two people to share and offer a great selection of cuisine, flavors, and spices. It’s a great option for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.

Amazing experience, incredibly delicious food and drinks, the friendliest staff ever and great ambience. Encourage anyone to try Ethiopian food in this restaurant, everything was cooked perfectly. It's only about a 5 min walk from the Sants station. The tasting menu leaves you full and its not pricey!

Okay fantastic restaurant and love the concept. The food although was a little bland but I'm not sure if it's a the dish or they tried to adjust it to be more appropriate for a European palate. The prices were good for the amount of food! This large plate was definitely enough for three like they said. The atmosphere is great and you get to eat with your hands and that's a lovely experience. The colors and the music are outstanding the service is very very quick. Overall great experience would love to visit again in the future and definitely recommend

This is an authentic Ethiopian food spot. The food was flavorful and the service was good. There are vegetarian only options and they even can make traditional "tibbs" if you ask nicely :-). The injera bread is naturally low gluten due to the fermentation process so that was a plus. All the food was a little heavy on the oil but that is just the way Ethiopian food is traditionally. I would recommend making a reservation because as soon as the doors open people pour into this place.

The people and the food, excellent. The Best! The Ingera, Sant George beer is fantastic and the ethiop coffee has its own special characteristics. They atter, you eat with your fingers.

Sitio ambientado con la cultura Etíope. Tienen mesas típicas de allí. Siempre está lleno por lo que mejor que reserves. La comida está buenísima y hay muchas opciones vegetarianas. Según mi pareja estaban más buenos los garbanzos y champiñones que la ternera. Se había acabado la cerveza etíope y el baklava de postre y nos quedamos con las ganas de probarlo. El personal es atento y amable. Tienen cafés de especialidad y venden bolsitas de 250g para disfrutarlo en casa y compré una. Es un sitio para repetir si vives en Barcelona. Lo recomiendo.

Restaurante muy diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrado y que me sorprendió gratamente, ya que todo se come con la mano desde la bandeja. Cogimos menú degustación (es el combinado, bebida y postre de la carta) por 19€ y salimos bastante llenos y estaba todo muy bueno. Además cogimos un plato de ternera troceada con cebolla muy rica también.

La comida es una experiencia, los sabores son vibrantes, algo diferente y claro, dependiendo de los gustos. A nosotros nos encantó el sabor. Los menú son muy completos y variados.

Hemos ido un grupo de 9 personas. El ambiente muy tranquilo y cómodo. Las mesas separadas por lo tanto no molesta el ruido. Las camareras muy majas y te recomiendan platos y te asesoran muy bien. En cuanto a la comida, es una experiencia distinta ya que se come con las manos. Sinceramente esperábamos sabores más intensos o diferentes. La carne, las lentejas y los garbanzos si tienen un sabor bastante característico pero respecto a las verduras o el queso un sabor muy mediterráneo (guisadas, en salsa o en ensalada). En cuanto a los postres hemos probado el yogur con miel (estaba rico), la tarta de queso (la base estaba algo quemada), el baklava (estaba rico) y la tarta de café (estaba buena). En cuanto al café el sabor es muy intenso, muy bueno. Recomendamos el menú degustación para poder probar varias cositas además en cuanto a precio está bien. Son 21,50€ por persona e incluye degustación de varios tipos de verduras, carne y legumbres + bebida y postre o café. Es una experiencia para probar al menos una vez algo distinto. Animamos a no pedir cubiertos y experimentar comiendo con las manos. No te manchas en exceso ya que la comida se coge con inyera que es una especie de crêpe.

Una experiencia auténtica! 🌍✨ Este restaurante te transporta directamente a Etiopía, donde la tradición es comer con las manos. La comida super rica🤤 , recomiendo pedir un menú Dorowot y un menú Segawot para compartir entre dos y así disfrutar de lo mejor de su cocina. Los postres no son su fuerte y los asientos podrían ser más cómodos, pero el ambiente lo compensa . 👉 Importante: reservar mesa, porque suele llenarse.

La verdad que me llamó la atención porque era un estilo diferente. Se come con las manos (al menos que no quieras) y la verdad que es sano y está muy bueno. El servicio es rápido, el staff es super simpático y tienen diferentes opciones tanto con carne como vegetarianas. Además los postres son caseros y están de muerte. Lo único que no me gustó es que no se puede pagar con tarjeta (o por lo menos cuando yo fui) pero si por transferencia, el propio personal te indica el número de cuenta.

Me sorprendió bastante para bien, aunque no esperaba que se tuviera que comer con las manos, una vez superada la sorpresa del principio es un plato enorme con un montón de guarniciones que vas cogiendo con las manos y el pan.

La comida está muy rica, el servicio bueno y cercano, y el ambiente muy acogedor. Sin duda repetiremos!

“Delicious food and a great cultural experience.” I’ve been to this Ethiopian restaurant twice, and I really liked it. I recommend making a reservation, if you want to ensure a table. They offer combined dishes, and the staff usually recommends what to order depending on how many people you are. Everything is served together on a large shared platter with lots of different options — a great mix of flavors and textures. The food is eaten with their special bread, using your hands, which makes the whole experience even more authentic and fun. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavors are rich and comforting. My favorite is the chicken — it’s so tender and flavorful! The staff are super friendly and take the time to explain each dish very well. Overall, it’s not just a good meal, it’s a full experience. Definitely a place I recommend!

The service was quick and very friendly, unfortunately this restaurant didn't have the flavors I'm used to when I go to Ethiopian restaurants. The injera bread had zero sourdough taste and the meats and veggies were minimally seasoned. However the big disappointment was at checkout. Despite having the credit card logos in the window, the restaurant was only accepting cash and bank transfers. They said the card readers weren't working that day, but the friend I was with said he had the same experience at this restaurant before. This wouldn't have been an issue if there was a notice in the window or if we had been told before ordering. But waiting until we finished eating and were about to pay felt deceptive.

The service was pleasant and the staff were helpful. The food was palatable , but obviously the flavors have been adapted to the local palate. I have been here twice and what is annoying is that they advise that they do not accept credit cards AFTER one has completed dinner. This is obviously a scam to avoid credit cards fees. And, again I stress no notice was provided prior dining. There were diners from other countries on the evening I visited..Is asking people to do a foreign transfer truly customer service??

Al llegar ya teniamos un serio problema. Habiamos reservado para 7 y nos faltaban 2 sillas y después de 5-10min depie al lado de nuestra "mesa" sin que nadie nos traiga algo, tuvimos que cogerlas de otro lado. Eramos 7, entre ellos yo (vegetariano), nos sirven todo en 2 platos enormes, todo mezclado carnes y verduras... Sin saber que son los "montones de comida" ni de quien son, todo bastante decepcionante. La comida, tampoco algo muy abundante para el precio, 4 montoncitos de cosas (aun nose que he comido, porque como te sirven todo junto....) a casi 22€... La verdad esque no repetiría ni aunque me pagaran, esperaba algo diferente, mas bueno o mas elaborado. Al final 22€ para comer en una silla hecha de un tocón de un arbol, a 2 palmos del suelo, de una mesa que está en cuenca que hay que comer por bluetooth y la falta de atención, no me merece la pena! Edito: Me faltaba añadir una cosa, al acabar nos dijeron que no iba el datáfono (cosa que veo en muchas resechas del local de hace meses que no tienen datáfono) y nos tocó pagar por transferencia bancaria. Ademas nos redondearon al alza el precio de la cena (nos metieron ma propina por la cara).

Extremadamente caro para la cantidad que ponen. El servicio nefasto, lento, no nos entendían, nos dejaron de pie esperando hasta que tuvimos que levantarnos a coger nosotros mismos lo que necesitábamos porque nos ignoraban. El lugar donde nos pusieron super incómodo para la cantidad de personas que éramos, estábamos molestandonos para poder coger nuestra comida entre nosotros porque tuvimos que comer en dos mesas para 7 personas. Y encima al final nos cobraron los que les dio la gana que no cuadraba para nada con lo que ponía en el menú o lo que nos habían explicado. Y para colmo no nos dejaron pagar con tarjeta, pedían transferencia. Extremadamente sobrevalorado.

La experiencia fue nefasta y asquerosa (spoiler: 🪳)… Tras tener una reserva, nos hicieron levantarnos de la mesa porque otras clientas habían salido a fumar. Luego nos volvieron a sentar y sirvieron la comida, que estaba aceptable, pero había cucarachas junto a nosotros y en la mesa. Además, vimos a la cocinera comiendo frente a los fogones y a otra empleada comiendo en el suelo de la cocina. Al avisar a la camarera y mostrarle las cucarachas, aun así procedió a cobrarnos la cena.

If you have ever had Ethiopian food, then this is a bad representation. If you have never had Ethiopian food I understand why you would not want to ever try Ethiopian food again after eating this. Well, the restaurant was nice and had music playing, the staff was kind of standoffish, and the food was bland not spicy and cold. I grew up eating Ethiopian food, so i understand some people do things differently, but one this people always do is season their food while serving it hot, at least warm. Upon asking for the bill, I was asked how was the meal, and I was honest “It was not that good” the injera was as if they just microwaved it, so the edges were crispy! Definitely disappointed with the representation of our culture from our own community with this place!
