100% auténtico. Ambiente local, muy “de barri”, con tapas y platillos para compartir.ñ (buenísimas las croquetas de chipirones). Tuvimos suerte y conseguimos una mesa alta para sentarnos, ya que el local es bastante pequeño y estaba a reventar y con todo reservado. Buena atención por parte de los camareros: amables, simpáticos y muy atentos. Volveré.

Mira que vengo todos los viernes a la reunión del coro del Pescadors, pero nunca había probado los caracoles. Madre mía, nunca he comido unos caracoles como estos. Las palabras se quedan cortas.

Nos encantó, trato muy familiar servicio 10 puntos, la comida muy casera y Marta es muy amable igual el otro personal, nos vamos súper contento gracias....

5 estrellas y porque no puedo poner más. De las mejores sorpresas que nos hemos llevado este año perfectamente. El trato a la altura de la comida, es decir excelente, todo el producto de primera, hasta la ensalada de tomate ha hecho que rebañemos el plato con pan. Producto fresco y bien tratado, cada plato era un motivo más para seguir probando la carta. Nos vamos todos muy contentos, como duele tener que irse de estos sitios. Deseando volver. Fuimos con la familia al mediodía a comer todos de tapeo y la verdad que no podríamos decir cuál de todas las tapas estaba más rica. Tienen mucha variedad de platos y el ambiente de típica taberna antigua. La chica que nos atendió fue un encanto y su atenta en todo momento. Sin duda repetiremos!

Vinimos por recomendación de una guía especializada en viajes… y ahora somos nosotros quien recomiendan visitar este sitio.. entrañable, familiar y acogedor… con un trato cercano y profesional… unas propuestas de las de siempre, pero elaboradas de 10! La tortilla de patata, es sublime… los calamares… la exqueisada… las croquetas de chipirones… que decir!!!! Terminamos con un lubina, riquísima!!! El pan con chocolate (aceite y sal) es un broche perfecto.

Fuimos a comer en familia, no teníamos reserva y el local estaba lleno pero nos buscaron mesa sin problema. Pedimos muchas tapas y todas buenísimas, la calidad y el sabor, todo perfecto. La atención fue inmejorable, nos trataron muy bien y con mucha simpatía y amabilidad, celebrábamos un cumpleaños y aún siendo improvisado no dudaron en volcarse para que fuera una celebración inolvidable. El precio es adecuado con la calidad de la comida y la elaboración. Un lugar muy muy recomendable!

Estamos intentando la manera de poner más estrellas pero Google no nos deja poner más que 5... La verdad es que si nos dejarán pondríamos muchas más. Nos ha atendido Marta, y el trato ha sido excelente. Por otro lado en el tema más estrictamente culinario tienen unas tapas espectaculares. La decoración y el ambiente hacen que sea un espacio muy acogedor. Un buen lugar para tomarse un buen 🍷!! Lo recomendamos!!!

Hemos comido fabulosamente bien en este bar de la Barceloneta, un lugar que combina el encanto del barrio con una cocina que sorprende por su calidad. Desde el primer momento el trato fue impecable: primero nos atendió Wally, el camarero, atento, simpático y siempre pendiente de que no nos faltara de nada; después Marta, la jefa, remató la experiencia con una cercanía y profesionalidad que se agradecen. Probamos varias platos y todas fueron un acierto. En conjunto, una experiencia redonda: buena comida, buena energía y un equipo que disfruta haciendo bien su trabajo. Un sitio al que, sin duda, volveremos.

Nothing fancy, just a great place to have dinner served by great people (especially the owner) :) they serve excellent food, though menu changes daily (or weekly). we have tried, in total, 10 different servings and they were all satisfying. p.s. if you are lucky and red tuna is on the menu, do not hesitate! Note, servers are talking with each customer and they are xplaining the menu. This might result in some waiting time :) don't rush, wait for your turn :)

This was amazing! The staff was very sweet and the food was super fresh and tasty. It seemed that there was only two servers for the whole restaurant in the evening so service may be slower than usual because of the business of the restaurant but the food and drinks make up for it! This little spot was perfect for our first night in Barcelona. After trekking around all day, we wanted to find something “local” and my wife found this little gem. First off, the staff were extremely friendly! We had our two kids in their strollers and they were very accommodating, helping us to stow them and stash them aside. For the ordering, they graciously explained the menu to the best of their English abilities and went through all the specials of the day. The restaurant in itself was no frills, but charming. It didn’t try to be anything that it wasn’t… as a side note, when a restaurant has many locals there, with us being the only tourists, that’s a great sign! For the food, we ordered off the specials menu and had so many tasty dishes. The “baby” salmon was especially good with a unique presentation and the kids were in awe of the “chocolate bread” (slices of bread with olive oil and a piece of melting chocolate). This was a kid-friendly spot from our experience and one that we will return to on our next trip to Barca!

This is the best spot in Barcelona! We came three days in a row!!! Everyone had their favorite dishes, from the marinated anchovy to tripe soup to fried dogfish. In addition to the incredible food, the hospitality of this place is next level! Marta the chef personally greets each table in their individual native languages, and was most kind to the children. We were treated the uttermost care from beginning to end. It felt more like dining in a friend’s house than a beach restaurant. Really cannot recommend Bodega La Peninsular highly enough and so excited for our return trip already!

This place is really authentic with a great atmosphere. Seafood is super fresh, you can really taste the quality in every bite. Everything is hand made and simply exquisite. A special thanks to Marta who welcomed and helped us. We really felt like home. Not inexpensive but fair. Keep up the good work!

I highly recommend this place to a short visit during a tapas crawl in Barcelona. The place was a bit crowded so we had to eat at the bar but this was not a problem in fact we could scout the kitchen and follow our dishes. The calamari is properly the best I have tasted, but I really missed a little garlic aioli or something to dip some of the calamari in. And the fried fish were perfect!

Must visit every time in Barcelona! Warm atmosphere, fantastic food and Marta and Valid is top notch! Soo welcoming and friendly. The tortilla de patata is the best in town.

Family style restaurant with dining area to seat up to 20 people. Friendly staff, busy, best to make reservations. We found the Paella (rice and sea food selection) and Calamari fries we ordered to be a bit salty 🧂 It is best to book in advance and let the restaurant know you prefer less salty. The ingredients (seafood) were fresh and well prepared. You are looking at about 40 euros per person.

A good restaurant, all the dishes were excellent, but the grilled fish surpassed everything! A very familiar atmosphere but very noisy, I think that's normal for a place like this. The waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive :) but please make a reservation when you go there, we waited about an hour before we could be seated, it's not a place where people eat quickly.

We stopped in for lunch along our long weekend through Barcelona. The staff was friendly and accommodating for us non- Catalan speakers. We found the vermouth to be herby, slightly sweet, and refresh…

The zamburinas were delicious! Unfortunately took a while to get anyone to take care of me even though the place was fairly empty. Menu had some interesting stuff but they were running out of stuff pretty quickly at 2:30 pm on Sunday . I may go again to make sure the food was so good

From my personal experience, it’s not what I expected having previously read the reviews. This review is just to manage the expectations of the readers especially I find the restaurant overrated. Food - la bomba was good but not worth the price (meat inside it was not that tasty / it tasted like the meat was not fresh). Nothing very special on spanish omelet and it was not served warm. I ordered grilled baby squid but they gave me a different one with broth (it tasted good though except that the squid was quite overcooked). I doubt it was a language barrier since I even pointed on the menu what I specifically wanted. Service - very long waiting time (extremely different from what I read in the reviews that service is fast). I was asked to wait for a long time just for the menu (~15 minutes). Foods were served on a staggered basis and in very long intervals. Spanish omelet was not served warm so it might be kept hanging for a long time (just my guess or probably they didn’t heat it; but whichever it is, they should have served it warm especially I waited for ages). I had to follow up the squid despite I waited for almost an hour already. My observation though is that the service was a bit fast on some tables (not sure what’s the reason for my case). Another point for improvement that they can consider is that they may make available the paella not just for pre-order. I acknowledge I read in the reviews that paella is just on pre-order basis so I’m just saying going forward they can consider it available even for walk-in customers. Atmospehere - small place but manageable. Table napkins smell not good. They can consider having english translation for the toilet door descriptions (hommes - male? donnes - female?) especially if someone unfamiliar yet of the language is on a rush to use it. Or they can put picture of a man / woman - it’s a small point for improvement but can be very helpful for foreign tourists. My experience was quite satisfactory but nothing too special so I’m giving a 3/5.

He estado dos veces en este restaurante, con un año de diferencia entre ambas visitas, y la situación ha sido exactamente la misma: la comida es riquísima, pero el ambiente está extremadamente sucio y lleno de cucarachas. Los camareros muestran molestia cuando se les pide que limpien una pared o el suelo donde hay una cucaracha, y lo peor es que usan la misma bayeta para matarlas que luego utilizan para limpiar las mesas. Lamentable🤢🤢
