Cafè del Born was our favorite cafe to go to for our morning coffee during our trip to Barcelona. Their cortado was the best I ever had. The taste of coffee was unlike anything I ever drank before. I should have asked the staff what coffee blend/beans they used. Speaking of staff, they were very nice and quick to serve us. The servers really facilitated a nice and friendly atmosphere in the cafe. The space felt like it had a lot of life to it which really positively impacted our experience in Barcelona overall. I will absolutely come back next time I'll be in Barcelona ♥️

This cafe is a good place for the drinks. Happy bartender happy staff, makes customers happy. Drinks were refreshing and chill, to quench thirst after a long walk. Ordered the Caffè latte, Cacaolat and the apfelkorn Sangria... all made our conversations at ease and relaxed.

Café del Born is my frequent spot when in the neighborhood while shopping for bulk food and top wines, all nearby. The staff is very pleasant and the experience is always the best of all cafes in the area. A must visit if you are in El Born / La Ribera.

I think I found Spain’s best sandwich. Just prosciutto, rocket and a tomato smear. Pairs well with mimosa 😉. Tons of options but I just keep coming back here for breakfast.

A very nice little bar with a terrace located on the south east of the Plaça Comercial. Good beverages, nice location, not too crowded as the rest of the place. The waiters speaks different languages - French, English and Spanish at last - and are very friendly.

I don't always go by ratings, sometimes a welcoming smile and pastries behind the glass lures you in. The yogurt w fresh fruit and musli was just what I needed. The cappuccino was perfectly frothy. I've noticed in Spain that both a machiato and cappuccinos are served wet (Dutch as opposed to Italian influenced) I have to remember to order my espressos dry.

El café estaba muy bueno y las tartas muy ricas. En nuestro caso hemos probado la de zanahoria que estaba exquisita, el brownie muy rico también y la tarta de queso, que para nuestro gusto, el sirope le quita protagonismo. ¡Recomendable!

Hemos desayunado un domingo por la mañana, con atención y servicio muy correctos. Bocadillos muy buenos, pan delicioso, cafes bien, precios de Barcelona, en la terraza, en una plaza estupenda. Las camarer@s atentos y simpatic@s, se agradece la atención personalizada. Clientes de gente guapa.

Café del born, es un muy buen sitio para tomar café, con quizás no demasiada variedad en su carta de comidas; pero si brownie o carrot cake nunca fallan. Los precios son relativamente económicos por su ubicación en pleno corazón del Born y en una zona privilegiada y estratégica si estás de turista por Barcelona. La atención es mejorable y no por la amabilidad, el mozo es bastante amable si no por la cantidad de mozos, ya que normalmente sólo hay 1 personas para atender el interior de local (entre 8-10 mesas) y la terraza, otras tantas. Si bien la comida y bebida sale rápido, es un aspecto a mejorar!

Tardaron mucho en atendernos, fuimos a pedir como dos veces solo para dos cafés… daban más vueltas que un pato mareado Women !!!

We stayed around the corner so it became our go to for our morning caffeine fix. Adding a toasted croissant with butter and jam to our cappuccino was a perfect start to the day. The smiling welcomes from the employees made it hard not to go back.

This is a great spot and my wife and I will definitely return here for a tasty lunch. It seems more like a coffee shop when you enter, but they have a good, very creative food menu. It is super cute and the food we had was really good. We had the chicken wings, which were small but very good and the bbq sauce was great. Also, the toast w/ artichokes, mozzerella, arugula and sun dried tomatoes was delicious. Go!

A warm, comforting, and inviting spot for a coffee in Born. A really pleasant place to catch up with a friend or clock in an hour of work. It was quiet between 4 and 5PM. The coffee was good, and the carrot cake even better!

Fuimos a tomar algo un sábado cualquiera por la tarde. Las tartas que pedimos y el brownie estaban muy ricos, aunque todos los que fuimos pensamos que el servicio no fue la gran cosa.

Pedimos el hummus,que viene con pan mediterráneo, y nos sirvieron un poco de hummus con bastones de verduras. Al reclamar nos indican que lo hacen así porque no había pan, sin consultarnos antes si deseábamos cambiar el plato por otro. Al menos el cocktail de mango estaba bien.

Caro, mala atención y sucio. Bastante decepción con este café. Fuimos a desayunar a la mañana y la atención fue horrible, tardaron 20 minutos entre que trajeron el café y las tostadas. No limpian las mesas, el baño parece que lleva días sin limpiar…. Y caro! Hay otros sitios mejores en la zona

lugar con buena terraza, adentro se está bien, la atención es buena los chic@s son gentiles y rápidos en las comandas. lo que si me sentí un poco estafado con la margarita y el daiquiri, porfavor 9€ por ese tamaño de copa no va. el mai tai recomendable.

Pésima experiencia, no llegamos a pedir nada que nos tuvimos que ir por la camerera tan borde y agresiva. El domingo por la tarde nos atendió una chica con pelo corto que de primeras empezó a tratarnos mal, hablando mal con su compañera de nosotras. Me parece una irresponsabilidad tener a alguien trabajando con ese temperamento. Espero que cambien de personal pronto, por su propio bien

Me cobran 2,25€ por un simple café con leche. Cuando le digo que es una exageración, la persona que me atiende me dice que son de los más baratos del barrio. Seguidamente me pregunta de dónde soy. Que pasa, dependiendo de la dónde eres te cobran o más o menos?

Nos sentamos a tomar un café con una porción de tarta . Preguntamos si tenían algo sin gluten ya que uno de nosotros es intolerante y nos dijeron que no tenían nada . En su carta están marcados los alérgenos y todo contiene gluten , así que pedimos para nosotros y nuestro amigo salió a coger algo sin gluten en la tienda de al lado. El camero le prohibió comerlo dentro del local alegando que ellos tienen sin gluten, le recordamos que nos habían dicho que no y nos indicó productos con el símbolo de gluten , que al parecer ni siquiera sabía cuál era el símbolo de gluten . La verdad una vergüenza la atención y muy poca empatía. Jamás volveremos !!!!
