Fuimos a cenar mi esposo y yo a este súper cozy restaurante en pleno barrio gótico de Barcelona. Tuvimos mucha suerte de encontrar una mesa ya que normalmente siempre están con alta demanda. A pesar de no tener reserva nos dieron una mesa y el servicio estuvo espectacular. Los meseros fueron muy atentos y amables, especialmente Blas quién durante toda nuestra velada nos atendió con detalle. Pedimos 4 tapas y dos cocteles, todo estuvo maravilloso. Mi favorito? Los ravioles en salsa trufada, un must! Volveremos :)

Muy bueno. Nos ha encantado todo. Lo único que el espacio es un poco reducido entre mesas. Por ponerle algún pero, pondría un par de croquetas más por el precio de la tapa. Pero genial. Seguramente volvamos.

I went to Petit Tapas the night before 3 Kings day. I got in just in time, as soon as the parade ended it filled up fast. The restaurant isn't very big. The food was excellent and the staff were great. I had the Pork medallions, Roast Chicken and Pistachio Creme brulee ... I would order the same thing again. It was very good... And the wine was excellent.

Petit Tapas in Barcelona is a true hidden gem. Tucked away in a small side street, it’s the kind of place you could easily walk past without noticing — which would be a real shame. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The interior is small, dark, and wonderfully cozy, creating an intimate atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The food was outstanding. We started with the octopus, which quite literally melted in your mouth. We also ordered the chicken and the lamb — both were incredibly tender and served with delicious, perfectly balanced sauces. The chicken was so good that we couldn’t resist ordering it a second time. The service deserves special mention. Federico was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome without ever being intrusive. To top it all off, the white wine — an excellent Albariño — paired beautifully with the food. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for exceptional tapas, great service, and a cozy, authentic atmosphere in Barcelona.

We had a really lovely evening at Petit Tapas, where sharing dishes is clearly the way to go. We enjoyed several plates, but the grilled beetroot genuinely surprised us, in the best way. The Iberian ham, grilled prawns and salmon tataki are also absolute recommendations. The presentation is carefully done, the flavours are well balanced, and everything feels thought through. Add to that the genuinely friendly service, and you get a very enjoyable tapas experience. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Barcelona!

Hands down one of the best meal experiences of my life. The octopus was melt in your mouth - so different than how Japan and north America prepare it. The pork tenderloin with the roasted pear puree as a finish was a meat dessert that I will NEVER forget. We arrived as party of two with no reservation and it was made clear that they were a reso only restaurant however they happened to have 2 seats at the bar. Great wine, great atmosphere and can’t for money.

Lamb was my favorite of our tapas! The chicken was also great, and I’m usually not a chicken getter because I like to try new / more “interesting” options but this was awesome. The burrata prosciutto carrot item wasn’t entirely necessary tbh, but was still tasty.

Best food we had in Barcelona. The pork, burrata, jamon, and croquettes were amazing. The ravioli was very good. Felt a little rushed at the beginning but ultimately the timing was perfect. Was enjoying the experience so much I forgot to take photos of the pork and ravioli. The cheesecake was fantastic—perfect amount of crunch.

This was my first time trying tapas and they did not disappoint! We got the potatoes bravas, Pork filet mignon, Truffle Ravioli ( best one), boneless chicken leg, and ended with the cheesecake. The place is small but the vibe was definitely there. I would definitely recommend!!

Lugar muy acogedor en el gótico, aunque un poco ruidoso. Las tapas están muy ricas y el personal es super amable y atento . Nos gustó mucho el lugar.

Todo muy bueno excepto que en ocasiones le ponen demasiada salsa a los platos como el que me comí anoche, las remolachas asadas, deliciosas pero mucha salsa. Nota: La gran cucaracha fue lo mas negativo de la noche.

Después de valorar las 5 tapas que pedimos nuestra puntuación de la cena es un 7. La que más nos gustó fueron las bravas. La comida está buena, tienen platos que los diferencian del resto pero tampoco son espectaculares. La atención excelente. El local es pequeño y eso hace que dentro de el haya bastante ruido. La luz es tenue porque considero que quieren crear un ambiente cálido y tranquilo pero por el espacio es imposible.

Solid dishes overall. The veal croquettes stole the show for me. The burrata was a littke bit all over the place, with taste and textures jarring. The lamb was good, well cooked just a tad spicy and salty. Vzru good Espresso Martini, well prepared by the bartender. Service was good and attentive but a tad expeditive. The place is small and they want to respect the reservations, I get it. But... you kind of feel rushed.

No es malo, pero si me pareció overprice para lo que sirven. Eran 3 pedazos de salmon, 3 de lamb, 6 de pulpo... El sabor no es malo, pero ni lo recomendaría ni volvería. Típico lugar para güiris. La seleccion de vinos es bastante básica. Los camareros son muy amables.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Positives • The veal croquettes were excellent. • The burrata was very good. Neutral • The sea bass was decent, but it did come with a few bones. • The ambiance is nice but nothing amazing either. The tables are very close to one another, making it hard to hearing another or to have private conversation. • Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant. • Service was basic. Negatives • The octopus was chewy, which was very disappointing for a restaurant in Barcelona. • The chicken tasted like it had simply been boiled, with very little flavor. • Several dishes came with the exact same sauce, making it feel like a copy-paste of flavors with only the main ingredient changed. • You will be charged for bread (1€20 per person) even though you don't order any and that it's just "bread". It looks like a ridiculous way to get extra money from clients. Overall While a couple of dishes stood out, the quality and consistency just weren’t there. I would definitely not go back.

Después de visitar Petit Tapas, recibí un correo electrónico pidiéndome que valorara nuestra visita. Bien, lo haré. Esta fue una de las cenas más decepcionantes que he tenido en Barcelona. El servicio no fue grosero, pero sí completamente impersonal. El restaurante es muy ruidoso, aunque eso es común en muchos lugares en España. Es bastante estrecho, y solo hay un baño para todos, sin lavabo fuera de la cabina para lavarse las manos. Si usas una talla mayor que la S, probablemente no quepas. Frente a nuestra mesa parpadeaba una bombilla del techo y hacía mucho calor y bochorno. Los ventiladores del salón no daban abasto. Las porciones son muy pequeñas, aunque eso se justifica con el nombre del restaurante. Todos los platos estaban o demasiado salados o excesivamente picantes, con mucha salsa. Por el precio, uno podría ir a un restaurante con estrella Michelin y disfrutar de una comida verdaderamente elegante. Me decepcionaron especialmente los pulpos, que costaban 14 € (sin impuestos), y el filete mignon. La cantidad de pulpo era de unos 20 gramos, el resto eran verduras picantes, aceite y sal. El filete mignon fue un desastre total. Una noche después, todavía tengo el sabor salado en la boca. La mitad del plato estaba ocupado por un trozo enorme de cebolla. ¡Sentí que estaba masticando un pedazo de sal! Cuando mencioné esto al encargado del restaurante, no mostró ninguna empatía ni intentó remediar la situación. Tuvimos que pedirle ayuda a un pobre camarero. Al final, al recibir la cuenta, nos dimos cuenta de que los impuestos no estaban incluidos en los precios de los platos. Este restaurante es para turistas poco exigentes que seguramente no volverán. ¡Recomiendo evitarlo! After visiting Petit Tapas, I received an email asking me to rate our visit. Well, here it is. It was one of the most disappointing dinners I’ve had in Barcelona. The service wasn’t rude, but it was completely soulless. The restaurant is extremely noisy, although that’s quite normal for many places in Spain. It’s cramped, there is only one bathroom for everyone, and not even a sink outside the stall to wash your hands. If your clothing size is larger than S, you probably won’t fit. There was a flickering ceiling light right above our table, and it was hot and stuffy inside — the fans in the dining room just weren’t enough. The portions were very small, which is somewhat justified by the name of the restaurant. Every dish was either too salty or too spicy, drowned in sauces. For the same price, you could go to a Michelin-starred restaurant and enjoy truly elegant cuisine. I was especially disappointed with the octopus, priced at €14 (excluding tax), and the filet mignon. The octopus portion was about 20 grams — the rest was spicy vegetables, oil, and salt. The filet mignon was a total failure. Even the next day, I could still taste the saltiness. Half the plate was taken up by a huge piece of onion. It felt like I was chewing on a chunk of salt! When I mentioned this to the restaurant manager, he showed no empathy and didn’t offer to make things right. We had to ask a poor waiter for help. In the end, when we got the bill, it turned out the taxes weren’t included in the menu prices. This restaurant is for undemanding tourists who will never come back. I recommend avoiding it!
