Local bonito en plena Plaza Urquinaona, ambiente bastante internacional y espacio cuidado y agradable. Probé su limonada que estaba muy buena. Habrá que volver a probar su comida.

Everything we ordered was amazing, we got Choco pancakes, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict and a burger. They were all fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Best brunch in Barcelona!

We stopped by for brunch at Citizens Cafe and were very surprised by the quality of food and service. We had their avo stack, coffee, cheeseburger, two different kinds of kombuchas, patatas, pan tomate (which was the best we had in Spain). The server suggested the kombucha flavors and we ended up trying two kinds. The sandwiches were so delicious with intricate flavors. We ended up spending EUR 56.60 for the two of us but it was worth it. We highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed late sharing brunch of avocado eggs and greens piled high toast with basil oil which was delicious along with vegan overnight oats with seeds pomegranate and apple . We tried 4 of the super fresh and delicious home made house juices also . The chai later and cappuccino were also very good . Day two we returned for fried fren tomatoes and asparagus dish with eggs ,mushrooms and bacon . The staff are very helpful and friendly and as a big foodie I would very much recommend this quirky setting and well thought out menu for the perfect breakfast snack lunch spot . Great stop of your visiting the Picasso museum or major shopping locations just mins walk away !

Citizen Cafe never disappoints!! The food & coffee is all delicious, you really can’t go wrong. Today I got the Oeuf sur le plat which is my new favorite. Also, the vibes inside are amazing with nice wooden tables and good music. It’s both a perfect place to eat with friends or to go and get some work done.

This is a great place to start the day, breakfast and coffee are amazing, we visited few times with kids and everything was delicious, it is a great place if you want to just sit and enjoy great coffee during the day too 👍

Saw the good reviews and walked in the cafe. I wanted something light and the staff, Asia, recommended Hummus. Asia is so kind to accommodate my request to add a porched egg. The food was very delicious and really made my day.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED THIS MORNING! I stopped in here today looking for a coffee but found great healthy options on the menu. I had the overnight oats, orange carrot ginger juice and a latte. Everything was delicious. The juice was just what I needed to heal my body. The atmosphere is very chill and the waitress was very nice to me. Definitely would come back!

I ordered a “Royal Eggs Benedict” with smoked salmon. It was a bit salty for me, but the flavor was really great. The coffee was also good. Alle Kellnerinnen waren sehr nett. I definitely want to visit here again.

Title: The perfect brunch spot in Barcelona! Citizen is hands down one of the best brunch places I’ve been to in Barcelona. The vibe is relaxed yet trendy, the staff is lovely, and the food… oh my God, the food! I had the eggs Benedict, a salmon bagel, and their beautiful açaí bowl — everything was fresh, full of flavor, and served with care. Their coffee is absolutely divine — smooth, rich, and just what you need to start the day right. Perfect for a solo breakfast, a lazy brunch with friends, or just recharging after walking through the city. I would 100% come back — this place is a little gem!

Fantastic brunch menu. They have their own twist on the classics, French toast, pancakes, Benedict. They do it all and they do it very well!!! Staff was super friendly. We had a large party of 9 people and they had tables for us in about 10 minutes. Crowded and busy, but the staff seems to handle the demand very well. Thank you for your hospitality!

Hemos ido a tomar una french toast a casi una hora del cierre y ya nos han dicho que se habían quedado sin eso. Nos han recomendado los pancakes, que visualmente tenían una pinta maravillosa, pero la masa no me parecía casera y me ha decepcionado. El café de especialidad estaba bueno, pero sin más. El local muy tranquilo y agradable y el trato de la camarera de 10.

Nos atendieron muy bien, las chicas super amables. Pedimos un café con leche, un ice latte, benedics de salmon y bagel de salmon por 32€, salimos super llenas! Recomiendo este lugar, lo único “mejorable” sería el café que tenía saber como a quemado. De resto un lujo, todo súper rápido. Vayan!

Un sitio donde tomarte un café hasta tarde, con tartas y menú de desayuno. Quizás algo carete (4 cafés y dos postres fueron 33 euros) pero bien.

Las chicas fueron súper simpáticas. Los pancakes no eran nada del otro mundo pero la apple pie estaba muy rica.

Muy buena relación calidad, precio y ubicación. Nos pedimos el porridge overnight y los pancakes de chocolate. El porridge fue más bien chia con granola, arándanos, manzana y gradana con sirope de arce, y es una reacción prqueña, si es para comer, te quedas con hambre. Los pancakes, en cambio, pedimos el cambio del helado de plátano por helado de vainilla, y nos gustó mucho, la cantidad perfecta de chocolate y de plátano igual que de helado. Los cafés estaban muy ricos y además pedimos también el zumo de pera, manzana y naranja y muy rico, todo en su punto. Lo consideramos un sitio que merece la pena ir si pasas por delante, o te viene de paso, pero no para ir a propósito. El servicio fue de 10, nos quedamos luego un buen rato hanlando, ocupando la mesa y no nos sentimos en ningún momento que nos iban a echar por no estar consumiendo.

He ido siempre a desayunar con amigos y familia. Hoy ha sido la última y lo siento mucho especialmente te por sus buenos desayunos.Al pagar con la tarjeta te obligan a dar la propina mínimo de un 10%, no un 5% no, un 10 o 15 o 20. Un desayuno de 2 personas de casi 50 euros con una propina de 4.80. Nunca más. Esto no es EEUU

Great brunch spot. We got the açai bowl and the french toast. The açai bowl was delicious, great consistency and toppings. The french toast was tasty, but it was only one piece of bread, I feel like for the price it could have been more. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

We came here on a recommendation and the place did indeed look really inviting and cozy. Lots of seating in different styles, a young crowd, wonderful service. We ordered a dessert that looked really, really good. Unfortunately, it wasn't tasty. It was very disappointing to take a picture of the dish that looked like a million dollars, but the taste was far from it. The rest of the dishes may be good. In any case, a pleasant place to sit.

Las estrellas que les doy es porque el café como tal me pareció muy rico. Perooo ❌El lugar más ruidoso en el que he estado, parece una discoteca de Ibiza. Terrible para desayunar. Sales aturdido ❌Los precios están caros si veo el paquete general de comer ahí con la mala experiencia El desayuno está ok. No muy bueno ni muy malo. Simplemente ok ❌ Muy mala ventilación. Al entrar tiene unos olores que flipas. Yo no lo recomiendo y no volveré. Deben cuidar mucho los detalles. O terminará como muchos.

Primera y última vez que voy. Quedaba 1 hora y media para cerrar cuando fuimos. Tardaron mucho en traer los cafés, pero luego parece ser que tenían prisa por irse y cuando todavía no había acabado mi bebida la chica vino y de forma muy maleducada sin preguntar, ni mirarnos a la cara siquiera, cogió mi vaso y se lo llevó cuando aún me quedaba bebida… flipé bastante, nunca había visto a un camarero hacer algo así a nadie…

The place is relatively large, but there was only one waitress running around trying to serve all the tables, which clearly wasn’t enough. People waited a long time just to order, and some dishes were left sitting on the counter getting cold. What felt quite uncomfortable was that other staff members were eating behind the bar instead of helping, and eating in front of customers is not something I’m used to seeing. We ordered eggs Benedict and pancakes. The food itself was good, although the pancakes were a bit dry. Another unpleasant experience was the gender-neutral bathrooms. I had to exit the restroom into a line of men waiting, which felt uncomfortable. Overall, the food was good, but the management and organization were very poor.
