He estado aquí 5 o 6 veces.

The service was outstanding. I had the pleasure of meeting Mateo, a local, who shared fascinating insights about society, politics, and history. it made the experience truly memorable. The food was delicious, and all the food in the picture costs only $17, which was an incredible value.
We were able to make a reservation day of for five people; the restaurant was very responsive on Whatsapp. The positive reviews were true. Everything was sooo so good. This is our first day in Spain, and I'm so happy we found this gem. The prices are so reasonable. The atmosphere was cozy and lovely. The staff was so kind and friendly. We had- the patatas bravas, polpo, cheese, tomato & bread, ham croquettes, las Bombas... I can't tell you which to get because everything was incredible. I also tried vermouth for the first time, and it was lovely. Highly recommend!
El Celler del Vermut is a must-visit for authentic Spanish tapas in Barcelona! The calamari was absolutely perfect - super crispy outside with tender squid that doesn't separate from the batter. No endless chewing here! Their homemade croquettes are addictive - I immediately ordered a second round because they SLAP so hard. The patatas bravas deserve a 10/10 with perfectly crispy potatoes and garlic aioli that's to die for. The grilled octopus was the unexpected star. Despite not being an octopus fan, this was mind-blowing - so tender I could cut it with just a fork! Best octopus I've ever eaten, hands down. Don't miss the tarta larpeira for dessert - a gigantic, super fluffy cake that's deliciously light. Helpful staff with excellent recommendations (trust them on the octopus!). Whether you're a local or visitor, this place delivers authentic, flavorful Spanish cuisine that's worth every euro.
A Memorable First Encounter with Galician Tapas! I visited this place two consecutive nights in a row, and I have no regrets—it was an incredible experience. It was my first time trying vermouth, and its mind-blowing taste left me amazed. I have never had such a delicious wine before; the herbal blend is simply outstanding. My favorite dish was the spicy bomb. If you enjoy something spicy, this is a must-try. It’s spicy and creamy at the same time—absolutely incredible. The deep-fried pork (torreznos) was fried to perfection—crispy and bursting with flavor. The grilled peppers were also very special. They were juicy and sweet, and their juiciness was beyond words. The preserved anchovies had a unique flavor that was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. They brought a refreshing sea-inspired note to the meal. The Spanish omelette surprised me with its presentation—it looked like a crepe cake! It was so creamy and delightful. Patatas bravas, a classic Spanish tapas dish, was also on my must-order list. It never fails to impress with its comforting flavors. The Galician squid was soft and fresh—quite enjoyable, though it came at a slightly higher price point. Overall, this was an unforgettable introduction to Galician cuisine. Every dish offered something unique and delicious, and I would happily return for more
This was our first experience of tapas in Barcelona and we were not disappointed. The person helping us did not speak any English, but we pointed to what we wanted and he was very friendly about it. Their speciality is Gallician octopus and I would recommend ordering it even if you don't love it, it's a great dish to experience and the restaurant was proud to recommend it.
As someone who had not experienced Galician cuisine until now, my mind was blown in the best possible way. The highlights for me are the bomba and the pulpo gallego (pics), the vermut casero was a great accompaniment, the staff were nice - overall a great experience. 100% visiting again when I’m in Barcelona next - and this has inspired me to plan a trip to Galicia for the future 😅
A highly underrated tavern. We walked in with a doubt cuz the door says ‘they don’t take cards’ but we were glad that we confirmed that they do. The food was beyond words and the vermut tasted like heaven. Don’t let the lack of English signs scare you, or you’ll miss a nice meal. Vermut ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tomato toast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bomba ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Octopus ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Croquettes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cod fish ⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband said it's one of the place tour guide or local would recommend it. The tapas price is good and they have English menu. The service is friendly. Food are amazing. We ordered octopus, spicy potatoes and chicken croquettes. My husband also said their Vermont is good tooooo. Good experience
Very typical and local spot to have a Vermut and tapas. One of those homey places that you can feel that there's a soul running them. Portions are generous and very tasty and they serve one of the best "Bomba" in town, also the Lacón and the Pulpo are worth to mention. Tend to get busy during weekends and they do take reservations.
Wonderful place for tapas. Of course they offer all the “usual” tapas you can get everywhere else, but they also offer several that are harder to find in Barcelona. Bomba Picante, Empenada Gallegos …
Fantastic service and brilliant food. Very authentic and reasonably priced. Staff really helpful and went the extra mile to help celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend .

Pedimos chipirones, huevos rotos y fideua. La fideua está muy bien. Todo esos platos y bebidas por 51 euros. El personal es muy amable.
This spot might be small, but it's incredibly cozy inside with an undeniable charm to its interior. The staff were decent, and the whole vibe just felt right for enjoying some authentic Spanish tapas. Now, let's talk about the food, because there were some real winners here. The Las Bombas were absolutely amazing – easily my favorite dish of the night. The pimientos were perfectly salted, and the patatas bravas, along with their sauces, were solid. But here's the kicker, coming from someone who isn't usually an octopus enthusiast unless it's calamari: the grilled octopus was genuinely amazing! And definitely don't skip the croquettas – they were really good too! The shrimps were okay, but didn't quite hit the same highs as the other dishes. Overall, this place delivers on great tapas. I'll definitely be coming back for more, especially those bombas!

Sitio amplio con una pequeña terraza. Bien ambientado y muy buena atención por parte de los camareros. Las chips de alcachofas muy buenas
We came here because the reviews were really positive about their food. They have a sign on their door saying they only take cash, but the lady signaled for us to come in and waved her credit card machine to us. From the menu, many of the times we wanted to try we’re not available anymore as they had run out of ingredients. We ended up having the croquettes of the day, gambas saladas, pulpo à la gallega, patatas, lacon à la gallega. The food did not impress us as much. We are not huge fans of seafood but were interested in trying as people said they made great seafood but that was not our experience. When it came to payment, they were expecting cash, we said we wanted to pay with card so they brought over the machine, charged us, and abruptly turned around without saying “thank you/good bye”. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you really like sea food and ok service after spending USD 65 with no drinks or dessert.
Had seen the many great reviews so gave it a CD try on our first day in Barcelona- after the rain stopped. Ordered a bottle of Fuentenarro (red) at 18 then a few dishes of calimares (10.90), croq…
First of all I would like to say that the woman with dark hair in a bob was lovely and understanding and quite simply amazing at her job. This review primary focuses on the interaction with the server. My friend and I both arrived at this bar with no expectations, we liked that it looked a little “divey”. We ordered two beers and three tapas. Due to us being tourists and not having the best handle on the local language we were at first confused about where to sit. The bartender was patient and understanding and with a smile had us sit in the back near the bathroom and kitchen. The server (pictured, older gentleman) seemed annoyed that they had to move the plates from one table to another and audibly huffed in my ear. For the rest of the night he refused to make eye contact or talk to us at all. When our Serrano ham or potatoes were ready, he threw them onto the table and yet would visit the neighboring table (which was all white people, I should mention we are brown), and smile and be very friendly with them. To make sure I was not imagining things we thanked him before leaving and he would not respond at all, very rude and not the type of experience anyone wants to have.
