We saw the reviews and made a reservation and they are certainly not true, but we will definitely repeat. Just the owner's attention is a pleasure and then the food and the menu are brutal. It is the typical bar with a restaurant without glamour but where you can really eat without posturing or nonsense.

Good home-cooked food, and as another customer says, no frills. The beans with clams are a 10, and the marmitako is more of the same. By the way, they bring you enough food for two people from the first course. The main courses, Iberian pork tenderloin and pork cheeks, are just as good as the first courses, and the desserts are homemade. Overall, a 10.

Highly recommended. The food is plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. Homemade ice cream and homemade desserts. They leave the pot on your table, and you can help yourself to whatever you want. The young waitresses are very friendly. The Saturday menu is €16... You walk out of there in a flash... From the outside, it looks like a small bar, but it has a large room with views of the valley, sturdy wooden tables, and a paper tablecloth—no nonsense. You'll eat well there. Highly recommended. Set menu for €14. They cook very well; the mountain stew was excellent, and everything else was delicious. The service was good and fast. It was full, and we had to wait for almost an hour. The dining room has spectacular views. There is free parking at the entrance to the village and also within the village itself.

We stopped by chance on our motorcycle route and it was a stroke of luck. Excellent service, a delicious daily menu, and a lovely indoor dining area with great views. It's no wonder it's so highly rated; it's well-deserved. In the end, the dining room was packed with people waiting to eat.

We called to make a reservation and they had a table ready for us in the interior dining room with incredible views. The food was delicious and flavorful. The best dishes were the garlic prawns and the roast lamb. Unbeatable value for money. We'll definitely be back.

Weekday menu for €14, which you can hardly find anywhere else at that price. It has 4-5 starters and a main course to choose from, all home-cooked food. There were 3 of us and we ordered 3 set meals. The 3 starters were salad, a rather large portion. The main courses were zucchini stuffed with minced meat, a pan of jijas, and a grilled slice of tuna. The portions were quite generous; the only downside was that the food was rather bland, but nothing that can't be fixed. The desserts we chose were cheesecake, tarta pasiega, and grandma's cake, nothing to write home about; they tasted a bit bland. It's definitely a place I would return to for its value for money. The dining room was full and there was a lot of background noise, so we had to talk a bit to hear each other. The staff said everything was fine.

This is quite a nice place. We were visiting this place after we missed our reservation on another restaurant and from what I gather from our 8-person's group, everyone was having a good meal here. The steak was really tender. Most of our group also recommended the mountain's stew from this place.

Es la segunda vez. No me gustó nada de nada, en esta ocasion, la primera no comimos el menú y tampoco recuerdo nada reseñable que comentar. En esta ocasión al ver que en el menú del dia había cocido montañés, lo pedimos, y que decir, muy regular, comparado con otros cocidos y el resto de la comida ( salmón al horno) muy seco y sin sabor, un horror. Lo unico bueno, el precio del menú del día ( 14 €), el resto, sin más. Para no repetir.

We've been to this restaurant many times, and the food has always been delicious. We drive an hour every time we come. Today, January 13th, we went for lunch and we weren't happy. Maybe they changed cooks, or maybe they were just having an off day, which can happen to anyone, but with four tables occupied, I doubt it. We ordered ham croquettes, as listed on the menu. We realized there were only four ham croquettes and four spinach and cheese croquettes. The ham ones tasted like nothing, just milk and butter. The eggs with chorizo ​​had cold, hard potatoes, a sign they'd been made early in the morning. The chorizo ​​was as hard as a board, nothing special. The entrecote was all sinew and tough, and the potatoes were the same. The meatballs weren't the same recipe anymore; they were juicy, and the sauce was watery. They seemed like they weren't finished. The potatoes were also the same: hard and cold. The fried squid was just okay. The fried squid was just average. It's a shame that everything isn't as good as it was months ago. I hope you'll take my review as a way to improve, not as a negative critique. The owner's service was excellent and she was very friendly. Thank you.
