Bodega como las de antaño que ya no quedan muchas. El personal es todo gente mayor auténtica que te hacen teletransportarte a las típicas tabernas de los pueblos de interior del país. La comida tiene ese toque casero que la hace fenomenal y está muy buena! Lo recomiendo al 100%, nosotros ya hemos ido 2 veces y volveremos pronto! (Recomiendo o ir muy pronto o reservar porque a las horas puntas se pone a tope!)

Bodega muy pequeña con tapas y pinchos tradicionales, buen vermuth y sardinas deliciosas.. volveria a probar todo lo que no me ha entrado! Aunque no haya sitio para sentarse vale la pena pasar por la barra y comerse algo al paso

Una maravilla. Desde los azulejos y vigas de madera que decoran esta antigua bodega, al familiar y cercano trato de Cayetana, Marc y Lo Pelat culé, entre otros. Llevé a unos amigos burgaleses que alucinaron en colores y salimos de allí felices, con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja, agradecidos por el trato y la fabulosa experiencia. Mención especial para el Cap i Pota. Sublime. Puro espectáculo. Lo demás también estaba de vicio: bacallà a la llauna, Fricandó con su toque de canela, callos de Zamora, buñuelos de bacalao, ensalada de burrata y caprese, atún con teriyaki, chipirones, bravas… todo genial. Y MUY BIEN de precio. Demasiado para ser Barcelona. Volveremos, pero no una sino todas las veces que podamos.

Tenía muchas ganas de venir a la Bodega d’en Rafel por todas las opiniones que tenía y las reseñas que había leído. La espera ha merecido la pena: gran variedad de platillos de una tasca de toda la vida, ambiente típico (aunque un poco ruidoso, lo que no deja de tener su encanto), servicio rápido y atención de 10 (especialmente la de la camarera que nos atendió). Volveré para probar otras opciones de la carta.

Fuimos hoy por primera vez y la comida super rica volveremos otro día seguro :) Las bombas buenisimaaas! Lo recomiendo totalmente. Un 10 para el camarero que nos atendió fue muy amable.

Breathtaking, life changing, fresh and tasty food and drink. At Bodega Rafel, the classic tapas, cold and hot, are offered, in all their vibrant flavors. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The bacalao (codfish) isn't merely fresh, it's prepared in so many creative ways we just couldn't decide. Luckily, we did order the cod and beans - a dish so simple, straightforward and perfectly cooked, it will make you a customer for life.

Saw the awesome reviews online and decided to give it a try. Did not disappoint! The hostess was able to find seating for me, even with all the reservations (best to book in advance). My server Mario was very attentive and kind enough to give me recommendations and help me figure out what I could order with nut allergies. Great amount of food and drink for the price in my opinion. Highlight, aside from the amazing service, was the vermouth.

Amazing traditional eatery with super friendly staff. We came here by accident (saw a table becoming available and saw this as a 'sign'). We had some food and absolutely loved it. A brilliant menu with homemade food next to tapas and snacks. The decor is lovely and they have a lot of tapas options on display. The food was amazing and a very good portions/ quality/price balance. I had the assortments of croquettes and they came with a wopping 6 different kinds (mushrooms, jamon, chicken, sepia, ox tail and one other one). My friends had a very traditional catalan dish that he said was made very well. I was very easily convinced to try the cheesecake because the cheese was my favourite blue cheese : Cabrales! The flavour was absolutely amaaaazing! We wil definitely be back here to sample more of the menu and have the same cheesecake for sure.

Local tapas bar, we were the only tourists there (good thing). Favourite meal of the trip taste-wise. We had to stand at the bar because the tables were full but it added to the experience of having drinks and food by the bar. In particular, the octopus with potatoes tasted amazing, as did the black rice croquettes. We don’t speak Spanish or Catalan so it took a few goes trying to get the order across but the servers were very friendly.

Highly recommend! We had our first meal in Barcelona at La Bodega d'en Rafel, and it was amazing! After a super tiring flight, we were so happy to find this place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and even with the language barriers, we had no problems. The food was hearty and delicious. My 9-year-old daughter tried everything and loved it all. We enjoyed it so much that even after trying other places in Barcelona, including street food and fancy restaurants, we still miss our first meal here. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Barcelona.

Delicious food, friendly staff and cosy vibes. Book in advance or arrive early 6pm before the dinner rush. We got very lucky with our walk-in. Place gets packed very quick. There were a few mix ups with our orders buy staff resolved it pretty quickly. We will be back!

Gem of a neighbourhood bar that’s really authentic, local and affordable. Homecooked style dishes with no fancy airs, but really really good. Traditional dishes like cap i pota, caracoles, pulpo a la feria, croquetas, tortillas and more are served. Boisterous, jovial atmosphere if that’s your kind of vibe! If you’re posh and uptight, don’t come, this is not the place for you. We were the only foreigners there (which we loved). Staff is friendly, kind and quick with service. We didn’t have a dinner reservation and they were full but they managed to kindly squeeze us in standing at the bar which was actually pretty comfortable. Try to get a reservation (or put your name on the list - don’t know how it actually works honestly haha). I don’t drink vermut but my friend did, they served it from the barrel and she loved it. I just downed beers and wine. Only dish I tried that I might skip are the bravas - sauce is not my style. Rest were great! This one lives up to the local’s hype. Fun. Authentic. Loud. Will be back for more.

Relaxing vibe, it was around 16:30. Great service and good english spoken by staff. Food was very authentic and delicious. Flavors were unique and fresh produce, grilled octopus is a must. Don’t skip dessert at this place.

Typical Spanish bar from old times. The food is delicious, everything is fresh product and home made, so some dishes change every day. The service is really good, they are very kind and help you in every way they can. It is full of local people that come for lunch. We really recommend this place. PS: It is always better to book in advance, because it is always full.

If you want a true local, authentic, traditional food experience this is the place to go! Rafel the owner is always there and a true sweetheart! When you come don't expect anything fancy.. it's just simple, straight forward, no non sense traditional dishes like bravas, croquetas jamón and the like. But like I said, it's a place to go for the experience! Recommend to try their house vermouth and buñuelos de bacalao.

Fue una buena alternativa de sábado por la noche. Siendo las 11pm y con varios locales alrededor con cocina cerrada, aquí pudimos comer y tomar. El vermú de la casa de sabor agradable, así como las salchichas. Vimos los postres y nos tentaron, aunque en la foto el coulant se vea desinflado, de sabor muy rico, dicen todos los postres son caseros. Quiero volver por la tarta de Santiago que tenía muy buena pinta. Las patatas bravas correctas. Punto a favor la linda atención de nuestra camarera, un amor y en la barra donde estuvimos al inicio también de parte del señor. Seguro volveremos.

Estuvimos el sábado pasado y la verdad que estuvimos bastante bien. Lo que probamos estuvo todo muy bueno, aconsejo el cap i pota, y las bombas. En general todo muy rico y se nota el toque casero. Lo que nos decepcionó mucho, es que siendo una bodega, el tema vino lo tuvieran tan mal referenciado. 4 o 5 vinos, muy básicos y marcas muy comunes. Deberían mejorar la carta de vinos, no hace falta tener una gran carta o muy cara, solo tener una pequeña variedad de vinos donde poder elegir y completar tu comida.

Mi experiencia en la Bodega d'en Rafel fue muy agradable. Destaco el ambiente familiar y acogedor del bar. Las raciones no son muy grandes pero son perfectas para pedir unas cuantas y compartir entre varias personas. A destacar el pulpo, los pimientos y las croquetas. La camarera fue muy amable y atenta, y para terminar nos propuso una selección de postres que resultaron ser deliciosos, pero me quedo con la cheesecake y las trufas de chocolate. Sin duda, un lugar que vale la pena visitar si buscas una cena agradable y variada entre varios amigos.

Bodega de toda la vida con comida deliciosa y muy buen trato. El único inconveniente es que nunca han tenido disponible la coca de vidrio con tomate y la ración de chipirones y cecina debería ser mayor por el precio que tiene

Great authentic tapas place, menus in both Spanish and English, overall great prices, next to the regular menu they have recommended tapas (generally slightly more expensive, but definitely worth it). Service is quick and good. Price to quality wise is as good as it gets. Bread is just 50 cent, bread with tomato 1 euro perhaps, most other tapas are between 5 and 7 euro, larger portions or special dishes can be anywhere between 7 and 15 euro. Deserts are amazing and only costs €4 per piece or so. Also had lots of Sangria (Cava). Would definitely recommend going here.

Qué despropósito, fuimos a desayunar, nos sirven un zumo de naranja de botella caducado, pluma con patatas fritas congeladas pimientos del padrón y huevo frito(si se le podía llamar así, se ve en la foto) al comentarle al camarero que eso no era un huevo frito nos comenta que es que el huevo tenia humedad y que volvería a salir igual, bocadillo de jamón ibérico bueno aunque el pan con tomate era rallado

People smoke close at the entrance, and INSIDE the main entrance. You can’t really taste food because of the smoking smell. Door kept open and wind blows all the cigarette smoke in to the dining area. The worst dining experience in barcelona.
