Excelente, la atención de Juan espectacular, hemos disfrutado mucho la comida y el servicio.

La comida genial, todo en su punto. El servicio excelente, muy atentos en todo momento, especialmente Lana. El local muy apropiado, grande y acogedor. Una experiencia positiva, seguro que repetiremos.

¡DE MARAVILLA! 🌈 Fuimos a comer aquí 2 personas el viernes 15-agosto-2025 y salimos muy contentos. El restaurante es grande y tienen mesas tanto en el interior como en el exterior (terraza). Nosotros habíamos reservado mesa en la terraza. Era una día muy caluroso, pero habían puesto unos «sprais» de agua que permitían refrescarte y no pasar calor. El día que fuimos ofrecían platos por separado de todo tipo. En nuestro caso, nos pedimos lo siguiente: ► 1 Fritz Lemon (2,90€) ► 1 Copa Sangría Tinto (8,90€) ► 1 ración calamares a la andaluza (15,50€) ► 4 trozos de pan con tomate (3,50€) ► 1 fideuá para 2 personas (20,50€ por persona) ►1 copa crema amarena y cereza (7,50€) El total de todo fue de 79,30€. El precio por persona se quedó en 39,65€. Toda la comida me encantó. Las cantidades eran grandes y adecuadas a su precio. No me quedé con hambre para nada. La fideuá me pareció muy rica. El camarero de ojos azules que nos sirvió fue muy amable, cercano y servicial. Me encantó el trato que nos dio. Y guapísimo. La próxima vez que vuelva aquí quiero probar el arroz negro, ya que seguro que está delicioso. Adjunto fotos de la carta, de la comida y del ticket final. Muchas gracias por todo el servicio. He acudido al local con mi familia, y el trato no podía ser mejor, desde el personal que te recibe hasta el que te toma el pedido en la mesa y aquí me gustaría mencionar a Tania que con gran simpatía, carisma y siempre con jan sonrisa en la cara nos atendió excelente! La comida no podría estar mejor, se nota la calidad de sus productos y la frescura en sus pescados, fue un total acierto llegar a este local.

Los 5 platos que hemos comido estaban bien hechos y la calidad estaba a la altura de su buena elaboración. Nos han gustado todos. Lo que nos lleva a pensar que cada plato de la carta estará hecho con esmero y serán de alta calidad. Los componentes del servicio han sido todos amables y buenos profesionales. El sitio es acogedor

Quise regalar una comida a mi madre y a mi tío, en un sitio bueno, de calidad y con precios que no fueran muy desorbitados, y di en el clavo. Me guié por reseñas para buscar el lugar perfecto y no me equivoqué. En todo momento fueron muy amables conmigo para poder hacer una reserva “sorpresa” y dejarlo todo pagado a través de Bizum. Mi madre volvió a casa diciéndome que habían comido de lujo, que estaba todo riquísimo y que todo el personal fue súper atento con ellos, incluso les invitaron a un chupito al acabar. También tengo que resaltar que se preocupan por lo que lo clientes opinamos, cosa que no ocurre en todos los lugares, eso dice mucho. Recomiendo 100%.

He tenido una experiencia increíble en este restaurante. Desde el primer momento, el trato del personal ha sido impecable: cercanos, atentos y siempre con una sonrisa. El servicio es rápido y eficiente, sin prisas pero sin esperas innecesarias. Se nota que el equipo está bien organizado y que se preocupa por el cliente. La comida es de gran calidad, con productos bien elaborados y platos llenos de sabor. Todo llega en su punto y muy bien presentado. La relación calidad-precio es excelente: comes muy bien, quedas satisfecho y no sales con la sensación de haber pagado de más. En resumen, un sitio totalmente recomendable por su ambiente, su profesionalidad y su pasión por hacer las cosas bien. Sin duda, repetiré.

Absolutely delicious authentic food, such friendly staff - Juan and Jerry Lin were so helpful and the atmosphere is really welcoming. Would definitely recommend for an al fresco lunch 😋 Everything we eat was fabulous and I’m gluten free, plenty of options and clearly stated on the menu.

Overall it was a nice lunch. Some of the negatives reviews are a bit negative. The price for what you pay is very reasonable for the paellas. The rice is always a little bit burned on the pan (it's normal) a good arroz is always a little bit burned at the bottom so don't be surprised. We were very surprised with the pan con tomate y deserts 👌 both the ice-cream and pistachio desert were tasty.

Muy rica la mariscada, tal cual en las fotos, además con una cama debajo de patatas pajas riquísimas, muy recomendable. El ambiente bueno. Los camareros excelentes. Muy bonito comedor, con sillas muy cómodas, se puede mejorar con mesas supletorias cuando pides, mariscadas o paellas, por espacio. Además puedes tomar a copas Vino y Cava, no en todos lados existe esta opción. Hemos vuelto y volveremos.

La Marea Restaurant in Barcelona offers a fantastic dining experience. The location is very nice, especially the outdoor seating, which adds a great atmosphere. Food was fantastic, with Spanish traditional dishes like paella and tapas nicely served and full of flavor. Prices were good and reasonable for the quality and location. Overall, a great spot to enjoy authentic Spanish food in a lovely setting.

Our first night in Barcelona we walked 1 minute from our hotel to have some paella. The restaurant was a recommendation from the front desk. We were not disappointed. The calamari was tender and flavorful as well as the other appetizers. Once the paella arrived we were excited. It was filled with shrimp, mussels, and scallops. My first meal was a success. Oh and for dessert, there was Ferrero Rocher cake that was to die for. What a wonderful experience!

We weren’t impressed by the paella and fideuà. The shrimp were not peeled and still had quite a bit of grit inside. overpriced mediocre food. The seafood soup and seafood pasta are the same dish actually. Fresh salad with grilled asparagus had 3 asparagus in it.

Servicio correcto. Paellas por precio/calidad, excesivamente caras para lo que son. Fuimos 5 personas a comer: unas pidieron la de marisco y otras arroz caldoso de marisco. La segunda se equivocaron y pusieron gamba roja. Al cabo de 15 minutos nos anunciaron el error y nos informaron que tardarían un buen rato. Nos conformamos con la de setas y foia. En vez de no cobrarla nos invitan a unas tostadas de pan con tómate. Bebidas hiper caras (una copa 250 cc de cerveza 5€ -con ese precio en un restaurante es una jarra de 500 ml-). Del postre, en vez de una carta nos muestran un muestrario de cinco tipos, osea, que si uno quiere otra cosa, es lo que hay. En fin, precio caro por la calidad de comida ofrecida. He comido paellas mejores por el mismo precio.

(Mixed Experience Over Two Visits) I’ve been to this restaurant twice in three days, and I can’t say I enjoyed it as much as I hoped. My family came specifically for the seafood and they loved it, but since I’m not a big fan of seafood, I ordered chicken instead. Unfortunately, the chicken paella was burned, and the chicken itself was so overcooked that it was difficult to eat. The desserts were good. 😊 Service & Cleanliness The service was very good and friendly, and the staff made us feel welcome. The toilets were clean and well maintained, which I always appreciate. 🍤 About the Food My only real concern was the quality of the non‑seafood dishes. I understand this is primarily a seafood restaurant, but if chicken is on the menu, it should be prepared with the same care and quality as the seafood. ✨ Final Thoughts Overall, the restaurant is good, but I would recommend sticking to seafood — that’s clearly where they shine.

The restaurant looks nice both inside and out. The outside part does not have a view of the sea but of the street, but there is good shade and a cooling system with water spraying. As for the food, which is the most important thing, I didn't like the paella with red prawns because the rice was overcooked in several places and it has a strong seafood taste. The portion is really big enough for two people. Also, for my taste, the paella is not seasoned enough and there are plenty of places in Barcelona where you can eat better. The seafood soup is commendable with a lot of seafood. But the paella is really disappointing and that's why the rating is 3, especially considering the price of it.

Walking past this restaurant the day before made us look forward all day for this dinner. Next day came and first thing we see is Sebastian running for his life in the fish tank. Nevertheless, it wasn’t our concern and we carried on with our night. We ordered croquetas de Jamon, calamares a la andaluza and Fideua. Croquets were alright (2/5) wouldn’t order again, calamari (3/5) well seasoned, Fideua( 1/5) and Crema Catalana. Now, I’ve had many paellas and Fideuas in my life, my mums makes them all the time and my uncles too, and I can tell you this was miserable. I think it’s something that can’t be cooked in the time it took us to order and have it delivered. Anyone who has never tried it before will probably enjoy it, but anyone who says it’s the best things they’ve eaten here probably has no taste receptors. The dessert was very sad too, it was something I’ve looking forward to have for a while and where better than in Barcelona. It was flavourless aswell, no substance to it. I’d rather have some natillas Danone instead. Overall it was a mid experience, brought down by the dissatisfaction and disappointment of the meal. Alright service as they got 50% of the drinks correct.
