Genial! Fuimos el Viernes a comer al medio día y traíamos de invitados a una pareja de Alemania, eramos cuatro personas. La comida fue exquisita, nuestros amigos se apuntaron el nombre del restaurante para volver, porque vienen a menudo por negocios y de parte de los cuatro, queremos felicitar a la chica que atendió todo la comida nuestra mesa, "Mari Luz", porque el trato, servicio, simpatía, fue Sobresaliente, ya podrían tener esta calidad humana mas de un restaurante de gama superior. Gracias por el servició y también a cocina por la comida exquisita. "Buñuelos de bacalao, alcachofas, "Xato" con langostinos y romesco, Txuletón a la piedra, postres, ... Volveremos ;-)

Mariluz es la mejor, atiende super bien y hace el 50% de una comida agradable el otro 50% la comida, la brasa muy buena. Volveremos por Mariluz, Felicidades 🎉

Perfecta experiencia en un restaurante donde comida y servicio están muy cuidados. Auténtica cocina tradicional. Balance modélico entre precio y calidad. Calçots, cordero, solomillo de ternera, calamarcitos, todo sabroso y con raciones convenientes. Carta de vinos no especialmente penalizada y postres caseros. Cris y Alejandra cuidaron de nosotros y Jaume fue el perfecto anfitrión. Resumen: gente que trabaja con una sonrisa y en un buen ambiente convierten tu visita en una experiencia feliz. Mil gracias! Almorcé acá en mi viaje a Barcelona, comida exquisita , pedí el entrecot y no se demoraron ni 5 minutos en servirlo y estaba delicioso. El servicio y la atención excelente.

I live in Barcelona and work right across the street so I come all the time. Great grilled food, they have veggies, chicken, octopus, artichokes. Must try grilled avocado. Great quality for price & I love the fact that it's an open kitchen you see the cleanliness. I recommend :)

Jose was a wonderful. Maria was are server and was very attentive and positive. My husband cooked rib eye on a hot stone. It was worth every penny. The desert was delicious and not too sweet like in the USA.

Very nice restaurant with both indoor A/C and outdoor seatings. I especially like the interior design of the restaurant with darker wood colour. We sat indoor for the A/C as we are from Vancouver Canada and 35 deg C is a bit too much for us. My seafood plate of cod fish was excellent, cooked perfectly with tomatoes. My wife’s pasta was very good too. Servers were friendly, English speaking and very helpful.

Went in during an off peak hour to kick start our Tapas and wine journey. There's no better place then Mussol (recommended by my friend's friend), the best Sangria I've tried till date and one of the best patata bravas and croquettes.

Food was fantastic. The burger was possibly the best tasting I have ever had! Magical. The lamb cutlets also absolutely delicious. And that all followed a very healthy portion of escargot and a fabulous grilled avocado dish. Was a quiet night when we came, but I won’t knock it down for that as I can imagine the place having a wonderful atmosphere when more people are around. The house red also went down very well indeed! Recommended.

Restaurante muy grande, la comida es muy buena y abundante, tardan un poco en atender, pero vale la pena, el arroz negro era estupendo, la fideua buenisima. Los caracoles un 7 de 10, las croquetas para mi muy malas por su precio, las alcachofas fritas muy buenas... calidad precio bastante equilibrado.

Por horarios y tema laboral, es difícil optar a un menú calçotada si eres o vives en Barcelona. En mussol en cambio tienes la opción y es muy fácil. Bien ubicado y con horario continuo. Estuve ayer comiendo el menú calçotada y luces y sombras. En general contento, muy bien el local y el servicio, y el menu en sí no está mal. Quizás la salsa de los calçots és insuficiente y el precio algo elevado, aunque por ubicación y horario lo asumo contento. Para probar los calçots por primera vez o para darte el capricho entre semana sin salir de la ciudad, recomendable.

The food was good with a serving portion that is reasonable for the price. I also enjoyed the wine (about 3 euros per glass). I came here to explore more Catalan food and I might bring my family & friends to try it out too :) Really great atmosphere inside but we had to stay in the outdoor seating area because we had dogs. The staff really seemed busy despite having several unoccupied tables, so it took so long before we were able to get our orders in. Nonetheless, it was a great experience thanks to the food and Marilou’s service as well (great service recovery!)

We didn't eat here, but we sat down for a drink. Shaded garden, solid coffee and sangria (their traditional wine with fruit). The complaint about the sangria is that it is a little stronger and you don't feel the fruity notes as much.

The quality of the food was quite good, but not quite in line with the high prices. Portions were very small. Service quality was average — nothing exceptional. The interior of the restaurant is interesting and stylish, but the toilets were not acceptable given the overall standard. It seems like the place is aiming to be exclusive, but it’s definitely not for the average budget.

This restaurant is located on a fairly busy and noisy road, but sitting on one of the tables outside is still a pleasant spot for a high quality relaxing meal and drink. The staff were all friendly and attentive throughout. If you want another language for the menu there’s a QR code on the rear to access them! The croquettes were served quickly and truly delicious, and the monkfish main was presented well, served on the bone and very tasty. I’d certainly return here and would recommend for a nice relaxing lunch.

Fui con un amigo a probar el menú de calçots. 37.90Euros que incluye, pan de coca con tomate. Unas 20 unidades de calçots con salsa (muy buen tamaño, buena cocción). El segundo plato fue deficiente. Un muslo de pollo (literal) medio carbonizado. Poco comestible. Las patatas de acompañamiento caseras, y un poco de ensalada para acompañar. De postre sorbete de limón con albahaca (demasiada albahaca, sabor intenso, para gustos claro. Yo no me lo pude comer). Si querias parrillada individual 4.5 euros más. O entrecot creo que era 9.5 euros más. Pedí pollo porque me apetecía. No creo que ese sea el precio por lo que me sirvieron. Pedir la parrillada seguramente sea la mejor opción. Copa de vino vs agua, café o infusión incluido.

A solid option — but nothing more than that. The restaurant has a modern, pleasant environment and feels welcoming, but it lacks that extra element that would justify a 5-star rating. Although it is promoted as offering traditional Catalan cuisine, I cannot say there is something truly distinctive or memorable that elevates it to an exceptional choice. The food is good and tasty, properly prepared, but it misses an authentic signature — that sense of identity or depth that would make the experience stand out. Its central location makes it very easy to access, which is definitely a plus. Service is correct and efficient, but somewhat formal and impersonal, likely due to the restaurant being in a very busy, highly commercial area. As a result, some of the authenticity feels lost. Overall, a reliable place for a decent meal in the city center, but not a destination restaurant and not one that leaves a lasting impression.

Honestly, a very average experience. The vibe of the place is good but the food not as much. Firstly, they did not have any rice, which is one of the ingrediets to the main dishes our vegan friend wanted to eat but as they didnt have it, he only ate some bread and left to find another place. We were all amazed how a restaurant can ran out of rice in the first place. Secondly, the bread with tomatos had barely any tomatos and mostly only olive oil, while the bread itself was cold. Finally, the rest of the main dishes were nothing special and most of our group complained the portions were very small and only the half chicken dish is a good portion for an adult man. In addition, they never changed our cutlery between dishes and I had to eat my starter and then main dish with the same fork and knife, which was unexpected to see based on the atmosphere the restaurant gives. I was not impressed by anything, and do not recommend for vegans.

I mean, I am Catalan, I’ve been fed Catalan food throughout my thirty-two years of life, so I’m not sure whether to be extremely critical or take it easy. I guess I’ll just be fair and write an honest review, as trully, no restaurant can ever equal a mother’s cooking. As for true Catalan food, I’d say you get an approximate taste. Some flavours are there, somewhat close to the original ones, but overall it’s just a meek reflection of what proper Catalan food tastes like. The pa amb tomàquet was no longer crunchy. If you toast the bread, make sure it’s not soft, otherwise the magic is gone. The buñuelos de bacalao were rather small compared to what a proper buñuelo should be, and the flavour was far from the sea. The allioli on them, though, was quite tasty. The escalivada was a very sad dish and horribly presented—just small portions of half vegetables spread on a big plate. Not a Catalan taste at all. I won’t continue dish by dish, because the reviews would repeat. The presentation of some dishes could have been more elaborate. Considering how much effort went into the restaurant’s atmosphere, they would benefit from a larger variety of plates. Flavours are mild and not very Catalan-tasting. The names are the same, and the looks somewhat as well. If you’re fine with that, then it’s not a bad place to eat. Also, it’s not super expensive.

Fuimos a cenar en familia (éramos 8 personas) y, por desgracia, la experiencia fue bastante negativa. Nos atendió una camarera que llevaba solo dos días trabajando. Ella fue muy amable y nos generó mucha empatía, pero puede ser que no estaba preparada para llevar una mesa tan grande. Pedimos algunos platos para picar y luego cada uno eligió su plato principal. El servicio fue un poco desordenado: cuando empezaron a traer los platos principales, trajeron un plato para un solo comensal y, después de bastante rato, empezaron a traer el resto. Para cuando llegaron los demás platos, la primera persona ya había terminado de cenar. Lo peor fue que a uno de los comensales le dijeron tarde que su plato no estaba disponible, obligándole a elegir otro y esperar todavía más, mientras los demás ya estaban comiendo. Nos sorprendió mucho ya que revisamos la comanda con la camarera. Sería importante que avisaran desde el principio qué platos no tienen de la carta para evitar situaciones así. El servicio fue muy lento, no hubo ningún detalle hacia nosotros por el error, y la cena terminó poniéndonos de mal humor a todo el grupo. Y lo más sorprendente: el local ni siquiera estaba lleno. Entendemos que la camarera era nueva y puede cometer errores, pero justamente por eso no entendemos cómo pueden dejarla sola para gestionar una mesa grande. La organización del restaurante falló claramente, y eso afectó por completo a nuestra experiencia.
